It Looks Like Travis Barker And Kourtney Kardashian Got Married For Real This Time

In early April, it sure looked like Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian were married, considering they went to a Las Vegas chapel and had a wedding ceremony. However, reports quickly surfaced that the ceremony wasn’t legally binding, which Kardashian later confirmed by sharing photos from the event and writing, “Once upon a time in a land far, far away (Las Vegas) at 2am, after an epic night and a little tequila, a queen and her handsome king ventured out to the only open chapel with an Elvis and got married (with no license). Practice makes perfect.”

Now, it appears they’re done with dry runs, as it looks like the two got legally married over the weekend.

Yesterday, TMZ shared photos and reported the two were seen in traditional wedding garb on the steps of a courthouse in Santa Barbara, exchanging vows. The pair later drove off in a low-rider convertible with a “just married” sign on it. “Sources close to the couple” later confirmed with TMZ that Barker and Kardashian filed the appropriate legal paperwork that day, so their marriage is official.

Another source told People, “They had to legally get married first ahead of their big Italian wedding, which is happening very soon. All the details are set and the whole family, including all the kids, are very excited.”

Elon Musk Responds To Snoop Dogg’s Wild Plan To Buy Twitter

A few days ago, Elon Musk announced his acquisition of Twitter was temporarily on hold as he awaits more information about how many of the platform’s accounts are spam or fake. As the purchase is paused, Snoop Dogg sees an opportunity to swoop in and buy Twitter himself and Musk has thoughts about the rapper’s mission.

On Friday, Snoop laid out his plan, most elements of which are questionable at best. He wrote over the course of multiple tweets, “May have 2 buy Twitter now. Gonna replace the board of directors with Jimmy from my corner Fish Fry, Tommy Chung and tha guy with the ponytail on CNBC. First line of business. Free internet on airplanes!!! 29 dollars for 1 hour is bullsh*t. Everyone gets a blue checkmark. Even tha bots with 10 letters in their name that hit you in DMs n just say ‘Hello’. Nah f*ck those bots. #WhenSnoopBuysTwitter …”

Yesterday, Musk responded with two fire emojis, to which Snoop replied, “You bring the fire I’ll bring the smoke!!”

Of course, Snoop is most likely joking about his plan, given the ridiculousness of some of his ideas; the free airplane WiFi is a good one, though, although that’s not really something he could change owning Twitter. Furthermore, buying Twitter is expensive, outside the price range of even Snoop, whose net worth is estimated at $150 million.

Jason Momoa Took His Shirt Off To Apologize After He Instagrammed Up A Storm In The Sistine Chapel

Jason Momoa recently went on a posting rampage for Earth Day, which included a parking lot shower (that message was best delivered shirtless), and has been busy shooting Fast X in Italy. He did, however, make time to head into Vatican City, where he visited the Sistine Chapel and posted some photos from within the landmark. Of course, photography is generally prohibited within the chapel (the damaging effects of flashes are real), and that led to some questioning remarks (and a bit of backlash) on the below posts (which both contained several photos apiece).

Momoa caught wind of what was up in his comments, and since he definitely understands the value of sacred places, the dude stepped up with an apology. Naturally, he decided to multitask and get an arm workout in while shirtless because, I don’t know, the flexing makes it hit home more? The caption notes his apology (as declared within the video, which is credited to Just Jared) and ends with “i love your culture and history. ITALY I F*CKING LOVE YOU ALL MY ALOHA J.”

“If you ever thought I disrespected your culture, that wasn’t my intention,” Momoa said while feeling the burn. “I found people really wanted to take photos with me. I was very respectful and I asked for permission for what I thought would be okay. I would never want to do anything to disrespect someone’s culture. So if I did, I apologize.” He also noted that a “nice donation” was made to the Catholic Church, and one can’t hate on a guy for owning his mistake, especially with an “ALOHA J” at the end.

Jim Acosta Called Out Fox News For Making Millions Of Dollars Off Of Tucker Carlson’s ‘Dangerous’ ‘Great Replacement’ Rhetoric

A gunman killed 10 people and wounded three others, 11 of whom were Black, at a supermarket in Buffalo, New York over the weekend in what authorities are calling a “straight-up racially-motivated hate crime.” Prior to the attack, the 18-year-old shooter reportedly posted a 180-page manifesto online, which “explained that he was motivated by a conspiracy theory that white people are being replaced by other races. In the document, he says he is [a] self-described white supremacist and anti-semite.”

That white nationalist, far-right theory, known as the “great replacement,” has been a frequent topic of discussion on Fox News, leading CNN’s Jim Acosta to point his finger (one in particular) at the likes of Tucker Carlson for what happened in Buffalo.

“What Tucker Carlson is doing by peddling ‘replacement theory’ and other white nationalist talking points is dangerous and we called it out today and asked the head of the NAACP what can be done about it,” Acosta tweeted. The CNN anchor, who previously said that “nobody bullsh*ts like [Tucker],” also played a compilation of Carlson spewing dangerous “great replacement” rhetoric on Fox News.

“When the New York Times recently ran an expose on Carlson’s record of promoting white nationalism and replacement theory, he tweeted out [a] picture of himself holding up the article, the front page of the New York Times, and laughing about it,” Acosta told his guest, NAACP president Derrick Johnson. He added that “millions of people absorb this garbage on a regular basis on his program” and “Fox does nothing about it. They make millions of dollars off of it. We have not shied away from calling that out and calling Tucker out on this program, because what he’s doing is very dangerous.”

You can watch that clip below.

What’s Popular On Streaming Right Now

Multiple times per week, our TV and film experts will list the most important ten streaming selections for you to pop into your queues. We’re not strictly operating upon reviews or accrued streaming clicks (although yes, we’ve scoured the streaming site charts and ratings) but, instead, upon those selections that are really worth noticing amid the churning sea of content. There’s a lot out there, after all, and your time is valuable.

TIE: 10. Batman (Warner Bros. film on HBO Max)

In case you missed the theatrical run or simply want to relive Robert Pattinson’s self-reinvention as the gothy, gritty Bruce Wayne, you’re hereby invited to Gotham in the privacy of your own home. Zoe Kravitz’s Catwoman stands up to the best that the role’s ever had to offer, and Paul Dano’s The Riddler and Colin Ferrell’s Penguin both chomp on the scenery in wildly different ways. Also, get ready for a few TV spinoffs and a sequel starring Pattinson, so even though this story’s outside the DCEU proper, there’s plenty of fuel for more.

10. Candy (Hulu series)

Is Pablo Schreiber in everything these days? Damn close, but let’s not overshadow the duo portrayed by Jessica Biel and Melanie Lynskey. Biel plays Candy Montgomery, a 1980s housewife with the so-called perfect life and marriage. She’s also an ax murderer who took out her frenemy, Betty Gore (Lynskey), and there’s something to be said about the return of a viscerally horrific true-crime adaptations after a rush of scammer-focused programming. Candy’s crimes are set against the backdrop of her frustration at conformity and the pressures of society, so there’s plenty to scrutinize while tensions simmer ahead of the boiling point.

9. Flight Attendant (HBO Max series)

Kaley Cuoco’s funny as hell, obviously, but there’s also some true dramatic acting at work here with her portrayal of Cassie. She is, of course, still a flight attendant but also got a side gig as a CIA asset, so the international intrigue is somehow amped up to eleven this season. There’s a new murder and even more potential for Cassie to stress out and break in half. Fortunately, Zosie Mamet is there to actually lighten the mood with some role reversal between the two best friends. Returning cast members include Griffin Matthews and Rosie Perez, and Mae Martin brings some fine newcomer flavor.

8. Shining Girls (Apple TV+ series)

From Mad Men to The Handmaid’s Tale to The Invisible Man, is there anything that Elisabeth Moss can’t do? She returns to horror for the series adaptation of Lauren Beukes’ bestselling novel, and one would be kidding themselves if they pretended there wasn’t some Stephen King influence here. Wagner Moura (of Narcos‘s Pablo Escobar fame) co-stars, and if you need any more reason to check this one out, let’s just say that Gillian Flynn fans will feel welcome, too.

7. The Lost City (Paramount+ movie)

Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum are doing the Romancing The Stone throwback thing with her being the successful author and him being, well, the beefcake. Somewhere along the way, they end up being kidnapped by a billionaire, and Brad Freaking Pitt is the mercenary who must come in and save everyone’s asses. Naturally, there’s plenty of sexy and gross-out moments in this movie, and it’s all as delightfully fun as can be.

6. Ozark (Netflix series)

Ruth Langmore and the Byrde fam have been through hell over the past handful of years onscreen, and it’s all coming to a a savage and shattering ending. For a final flourish, Killer Mike is on hand, and you know that this show will not end well for everyone. Collateral damage abounded already, and Marty Byrde set a sh*tstorm in motion that Wendy and Ruth seem bound and determined to finish.

5. We Own This City (HBO limited series on HBO Max)

Well, this isn’t The Wire, but creator David Simon is back to burrow into the underbelly of Charm City’s police force. The story’s based upon Justin Fenton’s book about Freddie Gray’s death in 2015, so there’s plenty of law enforcement shenanigans, which makes it awfully interesting to see a dude who played The Punisher (that’d be Jon Bernthal) at the center of it all. Treat Williams portrays an investigator who’s trying to take down the bad guys, who are supposed to be the good guys. Talk about two worlds colliding.

4. The Staircase (HBO Max series)

Colin Firth is almost too good here as Michael Peterson, who did hard time for the death of his wife, Kathleen, played stunningly by Toni Collette. This dramatization has callbacks to the O.G. true crime docuseries, of course, but it’s also its own creature. The cast, including Sophie Turner and Parker Posey, all really go for it, and my fingers are still crossed for the show to provide some real insight of an intriguing theory that added layers to the existing case.

3. Barry (HBO series on HBO Max)

One of the best shows on TV is still committed to keeping things silly while bringing us the return (after three long years) of Bill Hader as a contract killer. And it’s a good thing that’s the case since Killing Eve is no more, but hopefully, we won’t have to say goodbye to this assassin for quite some time. Henry Winkler and Anthony Carrigan are still here for extra delights, so don’t resist this one if you haven’t had the pleasure already.

2. Hacks (HBO Max series)

Jean Smart’s dueling curmudgeons ruled 2021, and one of them is back already in a second season. Her cranky comedian, Deborah, is back to make Ava’s life hell, and Hannah Einbinder holds her own in this lean, mean comedy machine of a show. Also, Jean Smart wields a freaking chainsaw! No one can hate on that, or else.

1. Better Call Saul (AMC series on AMC+)

Calm down for now because Kim Wexler is still kicking, although one can either choose chaos or choose not to worry about it, all while the show makes a beeline for the Breaking Bad timeline. Speaking of which, get ready for some Walt and Jesse, and Lalo is still wreaking havoc at this point. We need some Cinnabon Gene soon, as well. Make it all turn to color, people.

Shaq And Chuck Had A Hysterical Argument After Shaq Claimed He Only Had 15 Bad Games In 20 Years

The Phoenix Suns got absolutely demolished in Game 7 by the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday night, and afterwards the Inside the NBA crew tried to figure out exactly what happened that led to Phoenix getting blown out by 33 on their home floor.

Somewhat surprisingly, given their willingness to offer painfully honest criticism, they didn’t choose to bury the Suns for poor effort (which certainly seemed like an issue). Instead, Shaq was just willing to chalk it up to “one of those games” and suggested Phoenix shouldn’t overreact to the loss this offseason, advocating for them to pay Deandre Ayton this summer and mostly run it back next year. We’ll see if that happens, as there was some postgame tension when Monty Williams was asked about Ayton playing just 17 minutes, which he sternly said “it’s internal” and refused to elaborate further.

On the TNT set that was discussed and Shaq again called it “one of those nights” before declaring he would figure he had 15 of them in his 20-year career, which Charles Barkley simply could not let slide, refusing to believe that in 20 years Shaq only had 15 bad games and sparking a classic two-minute argument between the two.

Shaq and Chuck have been oddly on the same page for much of this postseason, instead tending to gang up on Kenny, but this was a vintage Inside back and forth. It had it all, from Shaq yelling at Barkley about having rings and being a bus driver to Chuck dishing out some incredible one-liners to get him even madder — like when Shaq insisted he became a role player late in his career, Barkley retorted “role player? you were rolling from city to city.”

It’s nice to know they can still play the hits and Chuck still knows the button to push to get the big fella all riled up. The ending was great as the crew brought the stats that Shaq only had 10 playoff games in his career that he finished in single figures, which Shaq took as justification of his point about having 15 games.

Luka Doncic And The Mavs Beat The Sh*t Out Of The Suns In Game 7

Game 7 of the Western Conference semifinals between the Dallas Mavericks and Phoenix Suns was unlike anything I have ever seen. The Suns, who posted (by far) the best record in the NBA this season, got run out of their own building by the Mavs in a game that was not in doubt by the time the halftime buzzer sounded.

At the half, Phoenix had scored 27 points, their lowest total of the season by far, which it should be said, is not a good thing to have happen in Game 7 of a playoff series. Making matters worse was that the Mavs were not having the same shooting struggles as Phoenix, led by Luka Doncic who scored 27 points in the half, tying the Suns all by his lonesome, in a truly incredible performance that saw him toy with the Suns inside and out, proving to be too strong in the paint and too talented on the perimeter for Phoenix’s defense.

Aiding Doncic was Spencer Dinwiddie, who came to life with four three-pointers in the first half, pouring in shot after shot from beyond the arc to put the Suns in a deeper and deeper deficit, until the lead was 30 at the half — which it should be noted — is a lot.

Illustrating the Suns issues was the fact that Devin Booker and Chris Paul did not have a made field goal in the first half, which is not how you’d draw it up, and any hope for a second half turnaround was quickly thwarted as the Mavs came out with the first punch once again, with Luka continuing to pour it on as he was doing horrific things to the Suns defense.

There was never a run for the Suns or even a sign of life, as they simply got their doors blown off in as embarrassing a fashion as one could imagine, with the game ultimately finishing with a 123-90 final score that wasn’t really that close. Paul and Booker combined for 21 points on 7-of-22 shooting with four turnovers. Deandre Ayton had five points and four rebounds in 17 minutes. Cam Johnson was the high scorer with 12, as they simply had nothing for the Dallas defense that was nothing short of sensational, insistent on taking Booker away and putting all of the pressure on Paul and the others, who looked worn down and lacked any spark. The only person that had as rough a night as the Suns was Lil Wayne, who sat courtside as his “Luka a ho” tweet from earlier in the series trended on Twitter as everyone dunked on it while he watched his chosen Suns get run out of the building.

For Dallas, it was as impressive a performance as you’ll see, as their intensity and ball-pressure on defense set the tone from the jump and forced Phoenix into difficult shots and turnovers, making one of the league’s best offensive teams look completely out of sorts for the biggest game of the season. Doncic finished with 35 points, 10 rebounds, and four assists, while Dinwiddie added 30 points off the bench and Jalen Brunson was terrific with 24 points, as the Dallas offense was firing on all cylinders from the opening tip.

Now, the Warriors await Dallas in the Western Conference Finals in what figures to be a thrilling matchup between two teams that spread the floor and have stars capable of piling up buckets in bunches. The Suns, meanwhile, enter an offseason that will force them to look inward and see where they need to improve if they’re going to rebound in 2022-23.

Lil Wayne’s ‘Luka A Ho’ Tweet Got Dunked On Repeatedly As Doncic Buried The Suns In Game 7 With Him Courtside

The Dallas Mavericks thought it would be fun to kick the hell out of the Phoenix Suns on Sunday night during Game 7 of their Western Conference Semifinal series. Dallas walked into Phoenix and put on a crazy shooting display, while the Suns’ offense could not get off the ground, as evidenced by their 27 first half points.

A number of famous folks in attendance, including Lil Wayne, who joined the Suns last postseason as they celebrated making the NBA Finals. Weezy has had a close eye on this series, as evidenced by this tweet he sent during Game 5.

Well, as it turns out, saying that about a dude a few days before he comes out and plays a role in launching the opposing team into orbit doesn’t work out great when you’re famous. Because during Game 7, people on the internet decided to quote tweet this ruthlessly and dunk on Wayne with such ease that you’d think he, too, was playing defense for the Phoenix Suns on Sunday.

It is not clear whether or not Doncic has seen this tweet, but given how well he played during Game 7, I don’t think anyone would be surprised if we learned that he was a little mad that Lil Wayne called him out.

Justin Bieber Held A Moment Of Silence For The Victims Of The Buffalo Supermarket Mass Shooting

On Saturday, tragic news arrived about a mass shooting at a supermarket in Buffalo. The incident resulted in 10 deaths and three injuries while 18-year-old Payton S. Gendron was taken into custody for an event that police describe as a “racially motivated hate crime.” The tragedy occurred hours before Justin Bieber was set to perform in the city as a part of his Justice World Tour. While the show went on as planned, the “Peaches” singer used the opportunity to remember the victims and spread some hope to those within the venue.

Prior to performing “Hurt,” Bieber shared a message with the crowd. “As we know, there’s so much division in this world,” he said. “So much racial injustice. As you and I both know, racism is evil and it is diabolical.” He continued, “But what you and I get to do, we get to be the difference makers. We get to be the people who continue to have the conversations with our friends and our family and our loved ones. We continue to be allies.”

Bieber later held a moment of silence for the victims. “To the people who couldn’t stay silent to honor the lives that were so tragically lost, I urge you to ask yourself why?” The singer also shared a video that captures him speaking to his team before the show. “I’m looking forward to tonight, looking forward to getting on that stage and doing what we do best and having a good time and bringing joy to the city,” he says in the video. “It’s much needed. So let’s just do that.”

You can watch videos from Bieber’s Buffalo show in the posts above.
