Megan Fox And Machine Gun Kelly Drinking Each Other’s Blood Has Outraged The Satan-Fearing Far Right

Much to the delight of the Thuggee, Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly drink each other’s blood. “And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes… and then we drank each other’s blood,” the Jennifer’s Body actress wrote on Instagram after she and Mr. I Am Weed got engaged.

Fox confirmed that she wasn’t joking in an interview with Glamour UK, telling the magazine, “So, I guess to drink each other’s blood might mislead people or people are imagining us with goblets and we’re like Game of Thrones… It’s just a few drops, but yes, we do consume each other’s blood on occasion for ritual purposes only.”

The vampire community issued a stern warning about amateur blood drinking, but no one else should be concerned what two consenting adults do behind closed doors. So, naturally, the far right is outraged by Fox’s comments. Rolling Stone reports that conservatives have been “posting on Telegram, outraged by what they referred to as the couple’s ‘Satanic blood rituals’ and channels like OAN devoting airtime to the two.”

“Out in the open, they tell you what they do, that they practice their rituals, and they literally have the ability to manipulate the minds of an entire generation,” said one outraged pundit accusing the couple of practicing Satanism.

The same pundit added that this is what happens when you have a generation “that removes God from absolutely everything. You cause a vacuum in society and Satan fills that vacuum conveniently and now, here we have Hollywood elites literally practice drinking each other’s blood.” I’m not sure he’s making the point he thinks he’s making, because the Satan Generation sounds much cooler than the Fundamentalist Christian Generation. Also, congrats to Bird Box star MGK for being part of the “Hollywood elite.”

Did Tom Cruise Really Fly Himself To The ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ World Premiere (In A Total Tom Cruise Move)?

As expected, Top Gun: Maverick contains a wealth of dazzling aerial sequences. Tom Cruise is also known to dangle from helicopters for random movie stunts here and there, so it would make sense that he’d get a little stunt-happy while arriving to the premiere in San Diego, California. Page Six is reporting that Tom touched down on the USS Midway aircraft carrier in a chopper before opening the door and casually strolling out like a sharp dressed man. As one does.

From the looks of the above photo and this video caption from The Hollywood Reporter, he did the honors himself. Take a look and see what you believe.

There’s some debate in the Twitter comments about whether there were other pilots in the aircraft with Tom (who is, in fact, licensed), so take it all as you will. And yep, it sure looks like he had help, but does that really matter too much?

Enjoy the movie magic, people. And one thing is very certain: Tom, long after he fancied the idea of a Top Gun sequel to be irresponsible, is feeling the need for speed once more. And after years of pandemic delays, he’s finally back in action for a red carpet affair. He must be so chuffed to see this happen.

We’re only a few weeks away from the movie landing in theaters, so we can see Maverick and Val Kilmer’s Iceman in action again, although there’s no telling how much we will actually see if Kilmer in this movie. Yet Admiral “Iceman” Tom Kazanzky is the guy who summoned Pete “Maverick” Mitchell back to the Top Gun program. And before too long, we’ll also see Tom land in Cannes for the first time in 30 years.

Top Gun: Maverick (which also stars Jon Hamm, Jennifer Connelly, and Miles Teller) arrives in U.S. theaters on May 27.

Kanye West Walked Out On Kim Kardashian’s ‘SNL’ Monologue After She Called Him A Rapper, She Says

Back in October, Kim Kardashian hosted Saturday Night Live and during her opening monologue, she referenced her marriage to and impending divorce from Kanye West, saying, “I’ve been very blessed in this life and I’m grateful for everything, honestly: all the ups, all the downs. I mean, I married the best rapper of all time. Not only that, he’s the richest Black man in America: A talented, legit genius who gave me four incredible kids. So when I divorced him, you have to know it came down to just one thing: his personality. I know that sounds mean, but people keep telling me that comedy comes from truth and if there’s one thing that I always strive to be, it’s genuine.”

Now, we know that, at least according to Kardashian, Ye didn’t particularly like that part of the monologue, so much so that he walked out of the room during it.

On a new episode of Hulu’s The Kardashians, Kardashian said (as Us Weekly notes):

“He walked out on SNL mid-monologue. I haven’t talked to him since. He is upset at the fact that I used the word ‘divorced’ — so he wished I said the word ‘filed’ for divorce. And he was upset that I also said he was ‘a rapper.’ He said, ‘I am so much more than a rapper. I can’t believe you said ‘rapper.” I never want to offend anyone, and I never want to hurt anyone but also that is what this monologue was for. It was to make a joke. I made fun of myself, my mom, and of everything that is personal to me. It is all fun and games and apparently, it wasn’t to him.”

Chris Paul And Devin Booker Took Over In The Second Half To Give The Suns A 2-0 Lead On Dallas

The first half of Game 2 between the Suns and Mavs in Phoenix was a highly competitive, somewhat choppy affair that saw a ton of fouls called, some terrific shot-making from both teams, and ultimately Dallas taking a two-point lead into the break.

Luka Doncic led the way in the first half with 24 points, getting to his spot over and over and giving Phoenix all they could handle defensively.

However, Phoenix seemed content to make Doncic work for his buckets early, employing something of a basketball rope-a-dope on the young superstar, successfully gassing him out for the second half where they targeted him relentlessly on the defensive end. Doncic finished with 35 points and seven assists, but for every positive on the offensive end, he gave it back on defense as Chris Paul decided he’d use the second half to hunt Doncic to tremendous success.

Paul and Devin Booker combined for 41 points in the second half, absolutely eviscerating the Mavs defense as they took a 6-point lead into the fourth quarter and ran away quickly, starting with Paul and ending with Booker in an absolute masterclass of how to close out a game.

The Suns have been the best fourth quarter team in the NBA all season, and their Game 2 performance might just have been their masterpiece. Paul and Booker took turns burying the Mavs, and midway through the period there was no longer any fight left in Dallas, who emptied the bench with five minutes to play, turning their attention to Game 3 in what became a 129-109 Suns victory.

Paul and Booker finished the game with 58 combined points on 22-of-39 shooting (6-of-10 from three), picking apart the Mavs in a totally different way than they did in the opener. Deandre Ayton was quiet, with nine points and three rebounds, playing just 18 minutes due to foul trouble, but JaVale McGee and Bismack Biyombo stepped in and kept the train rolling right down the tracks. Eight Suns finished with nine or more points, and as a team they shot 64.5 percent from the field and 52 percent from three, as Dallas’ defense has provided almost no resistance for Phoenix through two games of this series.

That will be where Dallas has to figure something out, because the Suns are more than happy to let Doncic cook early, knowing they don’t have anyone else who can create and, eventually, he’ll start slowing down and be less efficient. That was the case in Game 2 and has become the book on him since the Clippers employed it successfully the last couple of years. Jalen Brunson has yet to have any positive impact offensively after a huge series against Utah, as Phoenix’s length seems to be bothering him on the perimeter, and Spencer Dinwiddie likewise continues to struggle. The Mavs were banking on those two being able to do what Kristaps Porzingis couldn’t in the past, which is alleviate the creative pressure off of Doncic, but for now, they’ve yet to compel the Suns to change up their gameplan.

Game 3 sends the series back to Dallas, where the Mavs will hope the “others” can find their stroke, because they are desperate for someone other than Doncic to step up — and also need their star to put together four quarters if they’re to have a chance at making this a series.

Olivia Rodrigo Addresses The Impending Roe V. Wade Ruling: ‘Our Bodies Should Never Be In The Hands Of Politicians’

In a leaked draft opinion on the Supreme Court’s ruling on Roe V. Wade, it was revealed that the famous 1973 decision would be overturned. The initial ruling, which came down nearly 50 years ago, protected womens’ right to have a safe and legal abortion across the country. However, the news that it will be overturned, sparked outrage from those all over the country as nearly half of the states across the United States, mostly Republican-led ones, are preparing to ban abortions in their jurisdictions. Many celebrities have spoken out in favor of retaining Roe V. Wade, and the last person to do so is Grammy-winner Olivia Rodrigo.

During a tour stop in Washington D.C., Rodrigo spoke out against the possibility of Roe V. Wade bring being overturned. “Because we’re in DC, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to say how heartbroken I am over the Supreme Court’s potential decision,” she said as the crowd roared in support. “Our bodies should never be in the hands of politicians. I hope we can raise our voices to protect our right, to have a safe abortion, which is a right that so many people before us have worked so hard to get.”

Rodrigo joins the likes of Halsey who previously spoke out on the matter and said that the decision is “one of the most significant events we will witness in our lifetimes” that will “spiral into lethal situations for our entire country.” Questlove also shared a call to action for men specifically in a post to Instagram. “Men we of all people need to rally behind this,” he wrote. This isn’t a ‘ahh man that’s a woman’s thing.’”

Rapsody Highlights The Stellar Women In Sports On ‘Dust To Diamonds’ With Faouzia

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the passing of Title IX. According to the Department Of Education, it declared that “no person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.” This declaration helped to push female sports in motion all across the country, and while there’s still work to be done to build female sports programs and leagues up to a more equal status with their male counterparts, many are still taking the opportunity to celebrate the half-century mark of Title IX.

That includes Rapsody who partnered up with ESPN’s Fifty/50 Initiative to release her new song “Dust To Diamonds” with Faouzia. The track debuted live at the espnW Summit in New York City, and on it, Rapsody takes a moment to shout out and praise some of the best athletes in women’s sports. Serena Williams, Diana Taurasi, Florence Griffith Joyner, and more all receive some love through verses on the song while Faouzia holds down the hook as she helps to also uplift the women in various sports. “This track was created to honor some of the greatest women in sports, but also acknowledge the struggles they faced to succeed,” Rapsody said about the new record according to Complex.

“Dust to Diamonds” will also appear in ESPN’s upcoming film 37 Words, which is directed by Dawn Porter and Nicole Newnham. The film is set to arrive next month in June.

Don Jr. Actually Met With The Jan. 6 Committee And, Unlike His Brother Eric Once Did, Reportedly Didn’t Plead The Fifth Once

Though Donald Trump has done his best to keep his close associates far from the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, his best hasn’t been good enough. Perhaps because when folks like Steve Bannon and Mark Meadows were hit with contempt of Congress charges after they ignored subpoenas, a slew of the former president’s staff and cronies have played ball, sometimes willingly. Recently perhaps his favorite kid sat down with them. Now so has his oldest and most loyal son.

As per CNN, Don Jr., who has found a new lease in middle age as a cheerleader and weird hotel vlogger for his father, met with the committee on Tuesday, two sources say. The chat is reported to have lasted some three hours. What’s more, and despite being closely aligned with the attempt to keep his dad in the gig he wound up losing, he answered every question and never pled the 5th amendment, unlike his brother Eric, who set a potential Guinness record for invoking it when once questioned about the Trump organization.

Though the three older Trump kids are deeply loyal and connected to their father, it might not go the other way. Though Donald Sr. once referred to his very grown offspring as “children,” at least one of his former associates claims he would absolutely throw any of them under the bus if it meant saving his hide. But maybe the Trump “children” are wise enough to save themselves from whatever bleak fate may be in store for daddy.

The Heat Took A Commanding 2-0 Series Lead Over The Sixers With Another Comfortable Home Win

The Philadelphia 76ers faced an uphill battle in the first two games of their second round series in Miami, as they had to take on the top-seeded Heat without the services of Joel Embiid. The MVP candidate is back in Philly recovering from an orbital fracture and concussion, and while the Sixers haven’t ruled out a return this series, he’s still waiting to clear protocols and his status remains unknown.

After a dreadful offensive performance in Game 1, the Sixers found some sparks in Game 2, headlined by the play of Tyrese Maxey (34 points) and continued solid production from Tobias Harris (21 points), but as was the case in the opener, they simply could not keep up with the Heat from the three-point line and, ultimately, that led to a blowout victory for the Heat. For the night, the Heat knocked down 14 of their 29 three-point attempts, as Tyler Herro, Victor Oladipo, and Max Strus all poured in three from beyond the arc, compared to another dreadful 8-for-30 night from the Sixers from distance.

Early on, the two teams traded blows, with the Heat eventually taking control late in the first quarter as Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo took advantage of the Embiid-less Sixers defense inside.

Miami would open up that advantage early in the second quarter, as Tyler Herro came in and immediately heated up on his way to an 18-point outing off the bench, and it looked like a blowout might be in order once again.

To Philly’s credit, they hung in and took the early punches from the Heat, with James Harden starting to find his rhythm late in the second quarter to pull the Sixers back to within eight at the half.

The third quarter saw Butler and Tyrese Maxey trade blows, as every Miami run was answered by the Sixers, and vice versa as the game held at a 6-13 point Heat advantage for the majority of the quarter.

That trend would continue in the fourth quarter, as Maxey continued to try his best to carry the Sixers offense, aided by some timely Harris shots, but Philly could never get close enough to really make things interesting.

Ultimately, the Heat pulled away as Adebayo and Butler continued to make plays and Victor Oladipo (19 points off the bench) offered them a very welcome boost, with Spoelstra rolling with the veteran in the second half over Gabe Vincent.

It was the kind of game where the Sixers never felt out of it, but never felt like a threat to win, which probably shouldn’t be that surprising given the absence of Embiid. As was the case in Game 1, they couldn’t complete enough defensive possessions — which is to say, even when they got stops they struggled to get the defensive rebound — to go on an extended run to cut the lead to a single possession. They’ll hope their MVP returns in Game 3, but that’s not a guarantee, and this series could get late early if he’s unable to go when the series shifts back to Philadelphia.

On Miami’s side, it’s their depth that continues to shine as they play without a star of their own in Kyle Lowry. Oladipo’s revival since Game 4 of the Atlanta series has given Spo a greater variety of looks to throw at teams even without Lowry, even as Duncan Robinson remains tethered to the bench in a series where Miami clearly wants a defense-first mindset. Philadelphia’s “others” have yet to match the play of Miami’s bench and that’s a recipe for disaster when you’re without your top star. Even if Embiid comes back, they’re going to need someone to step up and hit shots from the perimeter to have any chance of getting into this series.

Warriors Guard Gary Payton II To Miss At Least Three Weeks With Elbow Ligament Damage

Golden State Warriors guard Gary Payton II suffered a scary fall in Game 2 against the Memphis Grizzlies when Memphis guard Dillon Brooks clotheslined him and was ejected for a Flagrant 2 foul. He then the left game with what appeared to be a serious elbow injury.

Payton’s injury, however, isn’t bad enough to keep him out for the remainder of the season if the Warriors advance to the Western Conference Finals and perhaps beyond. Per The Athletic’s Shams Charania, he will miss at three weeks with what has been deemed “slight ligament damage,” with Chris Haynes reporting the timetable for a return is 3-5 weeks, with the Finals not ruled out for Payton should Golden State make it there.

Payton will be missed against the Grizzlies, as he’s one of Golden State’s best options to defend Ja Morant. It was that ability that bumped him up from a bench piece to a starter in Game 1 in order to defend Morant. He could, in theory, be a player the Warriors could need against if they face the Phoenix Suns in the next round and they want someone to throw at Chris Paul.

The headline here, however, is that Payton could return this year. The fall he took was scary and it looked like a serious injury. The fact that Payton could return at all is a good note for him and the Warriors, and hopefully he can recover on the shorter end of that timetable.
