A couple named Daniel and Evelyn has one of the better stories of how they met, and it involved James Corden.

On yesterday’s (April 25) The Late Late Show, Corden explained that in 2015, on one of the very first episodes of the show, he did an on-the-street segment called Sidewalk Soulmate. He then played some of it, and in the clip, Corden stopped a random man, Daniel, on the street, and tried to set him up with a passerby. After some failed attempts, he found Evelyn, and she and Daniel agreed to go on a date.

They later had a filmed date on the show, and from there, things really progressed. The two dated for years and actually got engaged in 2019. They had plans for a wedding, with Corden on board to officiate, but the pandemic thwarted that and they ended up having a more intimate ceremony in 2020.

Fast-forward to yesterday and Daniel and Evelyn returned to the show (on the exact date of their third wedding anniversary, no less). Corden was thrilled to reunite with them and give them the wedding reception they didn’t get to have. After bringing out some wedding decorations, Corden started by introducing the Jonas Brothers to give a toast. Then, he revealed that Expedia was giving the couple round-trip tickets to anywhere in the world so they could have a nice honeymoon.

The segment ended with a full-circle moment. Earlier, Daniel and Evelyn noted they planned to have their first dance be to a Norah Jones song. That didn’t end up happening at the time, but last night, Jones herself visited the show to sit at the piano and serenade the couple with a performance of “Come Away With Me,” as they, Corden, the Jonas Brothers, and some audience members slow-danced.

James Corden is in his final few The Late Late Show episodes and he’s pulling out all the stops. Last night (April 25), Billie Eilish joined him on the program, seated alongside Natalie Portman for an interview.

During the conversation, Corden brought up Eilish’s acting endeavors, including Swarm, and asked what her dream role would be. She responded, “I don’t know. I would have to, it would have to… I mean honestly, Swarm was kind of a dream role for me. That was a big… when that was brought up to me, I was like, ‘Oh, this is… this is the thing. This is what I want to do.’ Donald Glover is like my all-time hero, lifelong hero.”

Elsewhere, they talked about Eilish making her TV debut with a performance of “Ocean Eyes” on The Late Late Show back when she was just 15 years old. Eilish reflected, “I remember that I was very nervous and I was very sick. I was sick for many years, I feel like. Everything I did, I was sick. And my voice was kind of messed up and I was just, like, really nervous, and I just wanted to really do a good job. And I remember you came to meet us in the room and I remember it was like the first celebrity I had ever been up close to [laughs]. I was like, ‘Oh my god, it’s James Corden! So crazy.’ I don’t know, it was amazing. I was just, like, on 10 all day. It was amazing.”

On Sunday, the Boston Celtics secured their third playoff win against the Atlanta Hawks to go up 3-1 against Trae Young and company in the first round of the NBA playoffs. Most people assumed that the Celtics would handle business on Tuesday when the teams returned to Boston to possibly close out the series with a Celtics. Unfortunately for the team up north, the Hawks snuck away with a game 5 win backed by Young’s 38 points to make the series 3-2 and force a game 6 back in Atlanta. That’s good news, right? Well not particularly. A short time after the game, fans noticed that the Hawks’ game 6 matchup was set to take place at the same time and place as Janet Jackson’s Together Again Tour stop in Atlanta.

Yup, that’s right. A scheduling error by the State Farm Arena caused a double-booking of the Hawks’ next playoff game and Janet Jackson’s Together Again Tour stop. Games 5-7 in an NBA playoff series are usually marked as “if necessary” as they won’t be needed if the team accomplishes the coveted four-game sweep. So, the error could have been a result of a slight slip-up in remembering that these games could be needed. Then again, it could have also been an overly confident Hawks fan who believed that their team would sweep the second-rank Boston Celtics in four games. (As a Celtics fan, this reason would be great simply because of the “point-and-laugh” opportunity it gives me now that we’re up 3-2). Nonetheless, a slight error more times than not needs a slight correction.

Chris Haynes, the Senior NBA Insider for TNT & Bleacher Report, reported that the Hawks-Celtics game 6 matchup would take place on Thursday, April 27 while Janet Jackson Together Again Tour stop in Atlanta will be moved to Friday, April 28. Just like that, all is well in Atlanta as the city’s week of entertainment can continue without issue. Let’s just hope the Celtics can finally bring this series to an end.

Billie Eilish has some of the most dedicated fans. Despite the “Never Felt So Alone” singer at one point considering herself quite ‘scary‘ in her early life, supporters can’t get enough of the musician. However, one fan is taking their Swarm-like obsession to the next level.

Just moments ago, a man demanding the entertainer’s freedom laced up his shoes to climb to the top of a television tower in Hollywood, California. After scaling the side of the KTLA tower, which stands at a whopping 162 feet off the ground, the super fan flew a “Free Billie Eilish” sign while toting an electric guitar.

According to ABC7, initial reports of this gentleman’s risky endeavors were brought to light earlier this afternoon after being spotted on Sunset Boulevard and Bronson Avenue near Van Ness Avenue. Eventually, authorities arrived first, blocking off the main access points. Then to plead with the man to come down to safety.

It is unclear precisely what the man is implying with his “Free Billie Eilish” sign considering the musician was recently stopped at Coachella all smiles on stage with friend and collaborator Labrinth. However, there seems to be another message on the back of his sign, which is not visible.

Currently, on social media, the hashtag Free Billie Eilish is trending. The entertainer has not yet addressed the claims. But she did upload clips of her upcoming appearance on The Late Late Show to her Instagram Stories just under an hour ago.

Jim Jones has had a lot to say about Pusha T over the past couple of weeks, despite the rappers seemingly having no recent issue with each other. It all started when Jim Jones made an appearance on Spotify’s RapCaviar podcast, where he made an objection to Billboard and VIBE’s 50 Greatest Rappers Of All Time list. Jim Jones specifically took issue with Pusha T’s placement at No. 29, saying, “What has he done that puts him in the greatest rappers of all time besides talk about coke that he probably didn’t get himself?”

Jones continued, “He’s nice as sh*t. He could rap his ass off, but what has he done? Nobody has dressed like him. Nobody wants to be like Pusha T. I don’t remember nothing. And let’s not be evil, but we don’t talk about rap where the n**** that’s popping the b*tches wanna f*ck and the n****s wanna be like. I don’t know too many n****s in this game that was leaning towards being like Pusha T.” Jones doubled down on his comments during a later appearance on The Breakfast Club, saying, “Could you name five Pusha T records? No. Could you rap to five Pusha T records?” He added, “I never wanted to be like Pusha, I never had a Pusha moment in my life. Where I’m from, n****s wanted to be like you if you was really that dude as a rapper.”

Music fans knew it was only a matter of time until Pusha T offered a response to Jones’ comments and it appears that may have sent his first minor shot. On April 21, Pusha T posted a picture with fashion designer Jerry Lorenzo ahead of his performance at the Fear of God fashion show at the Hollywood Bowl. “Places they’ll never be, stages they’ll never see…,” Pusha wrote under the post. “Jerry, you turned the Hollywood Bowl into your world and let me be apart of it…forever grateful.”

It’s not the most direct response to Jim Jones’ comments, but for some, it’s direct enough.

If you’re a fan of scenic music festivals, you might want to book a trip to Miami this fall. Coachella might be the go-to rager in the California desert. But the beloved South Florida multi-day dance music event, Ill Points Festival, has the seaside on lock.

To commemorate the fest’s 10th anniversary, Fred Again.. and Iggy Pop have been tapped to headline the Ill Points Festival 2023. Scheduled to take place on October 20 and 21, the fest will feature the two musicians bringing their alternative music specialties to Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood.

Other notable performers listed on the lineup include Caroline Polachek, SBTRKT, Tokischa, and Unknown Mortal Orchestra.

When asked about the festival’s upcoming milestone, co-founder David Sinopoli released a statement, saying, “Being ahead of the curve hasn’t been easy and has required taking risks. The festival has always been more on the bleeding edge of music, rather than the cutting edge. We set out on a mission 10 years ago to build something different in Miami that the counterculture here can identify with. This initiative is flourishing because of all the artists and fans that have supported this idea over the past 10 years. “

Kesha found great success earlier in her career as one of the most infectious pop acts. Even her more recent tracks, like “Chasing Rainbows” with Big Freedia and “My Own Dance,” highlight the different elements that made her a lovable music star. But she can do more than fun dance singles, as see her cover of Rihanna’s song “Umbrella.”

On her forthcoming album, Gag Order, slated to drop on May 19, Kesha will show that there are still sides to the recording artist that fans haven’t heard yet. The bar has been set high, with Rick Rubin as the primary producer and Kesha herself as the executive producer.

During an interview with Rolling Stone, Kesha spoke about the creative process, saying, “I feel like I’m giving birth to the most intimate thing I’ve ever created,” adding, “It’s scary being vulnerable. The fact that I have compiled an entire record of these emotions, of anger, of insecurity, of anxiety, of grief, of pain, of regret, all of that is so nerve-racking — but it’s also so healing.”

When discussing the themes sprinkled throughout the album, the singer told Nylon, “I wanted to make an album that sounds the way my head feels. Dipping in and out of depression, gratitude, rage, and hope. Always moving.”

The DCEU might be in a bit of a mess right now, but they have one sure thing on the horizon: People sure are excited to see The Flash. The second trailer for the long-in-the-offing solo outing for Ezra Miller’s Barry Allen bowed at CinemaCon Tuesday, the same day the latest cut played on the Warner Bros. lot in Burbank, California. There’s a sizable elephant in the room, though: Its star sure was up to no good last year. As it happened, the film’s team decided to address said elephant.

Miller, as you might recall, was a prolific creator of, shall we say, mischief from the spring of 2022 through that summer. There were multiple arrests in Hawaii, accusations of grooming a teenager, harassment, burglary charges, and him claiming to be Jesus, the Devil, and the new messiah. Warner Bros. stuck with Miller, who by that August had agreed to seek treatment. They’ve barely been heard from since, and at the Warner Bros. screening, director Andy Muschietti and his producer sister Barbara Muschietti gave people an update.

“We’re all hoping that they get better… They’re taking the steps to recovery,” Andy added of the actor, who uses they/them pronouns. “They’re dealing with mental health issues, but they’re well. We talked to them not too long ago, and they’re very committed to getting better.”

“And, I have to say, during our shoot, during principal photography, their commitment to the role was something we’ve never seen,” Barbara added. “And the discipline to the work, the willingness — physical, mental, and just wanting to go beyond the pale — is just amazing.”

While a select group of people got see the whole shebang, everyone else had to make do with the new trailer, which prominently featured Michael Keaton’s return as Batman/Bruce Wayne, as well as the return of Michael Shannon’s General Zod, who appears to have been brought back from the dead thanks to Allen’s time travel tomfoolery.

The Flash hits theaters on June 16.

With under 5.5 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter of Game 5 between the Atlanta Hawks and Boston Celtics, the Hawks were staring down the barrel of elimination. Derrick White had just scored and Boston led 111-99, looking to close out a 4-1 series victory. But then, Trae Young scored or assisted on 16 of Atlanta’s final 20 points and the Hawks squeaked out a 119-117 victory. Young ended with 38 points and 13 assists.

His last three points were his finest of the night, coming on a deep pull-up bomb over Jaylen Brown to propel Atlanta to an impressive, come-from-behind victory inside a raucous TD Garden.

After opening the game with a three and working his floater in the pick-and-roll, Young couldn’t get much going from beyond the arc most of the night. But he found his stroke late, drilling a trio of off-the-bounce triples over the final 3:18, including the game-winner. Throughout the last three games, Young’s been pretty potent attacking the Celtics in ball-screens and that continued on Tuesday. He roasted their drop coverage and had success getting downhill against switches.

Dating back to Game 3, he’s tallied at least 32 points and nine assists each outing, averaging 35 points and 12.3 assists during that span. He and the Hawks will look to force a Game 7 when they welcome Boston to State Farm Arena for Thursday’s Game 6.

There’s no denying Davido’s star power. As one of the musicians at the forefront of helping Afrobeats gain worldwide attention, the “Unavailable” musician is riding high off of the success of his latest album Timeless. After breaking several streaming records, Davido took to social media to announce that he’s taking his well-received album on a limited-run North American tour.

“The grind is TIMELESS, the music is TIMELESS, we are TIMELESS⁣,” he wrote. The tour will start in Washington, DC, on July 1. In addition to his summer tour, Davido will also take the stage at a few festivals, including Governors Ball Music Festival in June and A.W.A.Y Festival in November.

During an interview with Complex, when asked about what the album meant to him, Davido said, “The last time I dropped an album, Afrobeats was not on this pedestal. So many things have happened: younger artists have come through, and I have a spread of artists and producers under my label, some that feature on the album—like Morravey and Logos Olori. Afrobeats has become the most popular genre in the world, so I knew I definitely had to deliver. I’m just happy that so many people love Timeless.”
