Travis Barker Kissed And Pretended To Drum Kourtney Kardashian’s Baby Bump After Her Clever Pregnancy Reveal

Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian had already cornered the market on PDA, and they apparently wanted to be known as king and queen of pregnancy reveals as well.

During Blink-182’s headlining reunion tour date in Los Angeles, California on Friday, June 16, Kardashian held up a sign from the crowd reading, “TRAVIS I’M PREGNANT.” Mark Hoppus drew his drummer’s attention to the announcement, and a shocked Barker walked toward Kardashian to hug and kiss her.

On Sunday, June 18, Kardashian more formally announced her pregnancy with an Instagram carousel of six endearing photos. The first shows Barker pretending to drum on Kardashian’s budding baby bump, and the second finds him lovingly kissing it.

“Overwhelmed with gratitude and joy for God’s blessing and plan,” Kardashian wrote in the caption.

“God is great,” Barker wrote in the comments section along with a prayer-hands emoji and a red heart emoji.

This will be their first child together. Barker (47 years old) shares Atiana (24), Landon (19), and Alabama (17) with his ex Shanna Moakler, while Kardashian (44) shares Mason (13), Penelope (10), and Reign (8) with her ex, Scott Disick. Barker and Kardashian were legally married in May 2022, confirming as much on Instagram.

In a recent episode of Hulu’s The Kardashians, Kardashian shared that she and Barker were “officially done with IVF” and “would love a baby more than anything,” as relayed by People last month.

Chris Paul Found Out He Was Traded On A Flight To New York To Do ‘GMA’

Chris Paul is no stranger to being traded, as the 12-time All-Star point guard has now been dealt five times in his Hall of Fame career. Most recently, Paul has found himself as the centerpiece of the Suns’ latest attempt to add a superstar to their roster, sending him and Landry Shamet out for Bradley Beal.

While Paul was well aware he was potentially getting traded, as there were reports weeks ago that he and the Suns had met to discuss his future and the potential for him to either be waived or traded before his contract’s guarantee date, he apparently wasn’t very up to date on the Beal trade talks. On Monday, Paul had a pre-scheduled appearance on Good Morning America in New York that fell on the somewhat awkward day following the Beal trade.

Michael Strahan naturally asked him about his thoughts on it, with Paul saying he found out about it while he was flying across the country for the sitdown, before noting it’s just part of being in the NBA.

Part of what makes this particular trade unique for Paul is, there’s a good chance he’s headed to a third team that, as of this moment, we don’t know about. It’s possible the trade won’t be finalized for some time as the Wizards look to re-route Paul somewhere else, with the potential for a reunion between Paul and the Clippers. For now, Paul will promote his book and continue with his offseason, waiting to learn exactly where he’ll spend next season in the process.

Offset And Quavo Recognized What Should Have Been Takeoff’s 29th Birthday With Loving Tributes

Takeoff was taken far too soon. The beloved Atlanta rapper was fatally shot in the early hours of November 1, 2022, losing his life at 28 years old. The first birthday after someone’s death is always the starkest reminder of what was lost, and Takeoff would have — should have — celebrated his 29th birthday on Sunday, June 18.

Quavo and Offset, Takeoff’s former Migos groupmates, didn’t let the day go by unnoticed.

“Happy Birthday @yrntakeoff can’t wait for days like this again!!! BEST believe we goin up all week the Rocket way GEEKD,” Quavo captioned a throwback Instagram video alongside several rocket emojis. “u 29 n****.”

Quavo added on Twitter, “Everyone Wish My Nephew Happy Birthday [birthday cake emoji, infinity sign emoji, rocket emoji]. Miss You So Much!”

Offset also posted a nine-photo Instagram carousel with the caption, “Happy birthday rocket man [rocket emoji] the greatest to touch the mic!! best spirit ever!! purest man I know your heart was golden bring me peace bra we celebrate your life because you still right here I love you gang [four rocket emojis].”

Last month, Offset graced the cover of Variety and struggled to open up about grieving Takeoff.

“It’s hard for me to talk about sh*t right now,” he told the publication, in part. “I’ve never talked about this stuff. Seriously. Talking about Take is hard, man. Talking about all this sh*t is hard. That’s why I don’t, to be honest. That sh*t hurts. Like, it’s gonna put me in a mood, and I don’t want to get in that mood. Some things I don’t never tell nobody. He’s not here. That sh*t feels fake, bro. I get through my day thinking it’s fake. And I don’t say nothing to nobody about it.”

Takeoff was murdered outside of 810 Billiards & Bowling in Houston while attending a private event with Quavo. On December 1, 33-year-old Patrick Xavier Clark was arrested for allegedly shooting Takeoff. Clark was formally charged with murder after a Texas grand jury indicted him on May 25, as reported by TMZ.

Taylor Swift Broke Down Why ‘Cruel Summer,’ A Four-Year-Old Song, Will Be Her Next Single Here In 2023

A few days ago, it was reported that “Cruel Summer” would be Taylor Swift’s next single. That’s of course a bit odd because the song was released on Swift’s 2019 album Lover, and counting her Taylor’s Version rerecordings, Swift has released five albums since then. Now, Swift herself has confirmed the reports and explained what’s going on here.

At a Pittsburgh The Eras Tour concert this past weekend, Swift said:

“‘Cruel Summer’ was on the Lover album. That album came out four years ago, and I just need to let you know something: ‘Cruel Summer,’ that song was my pride and joy on that album. […] You have conversations before the album comes out, and everybody around weighs in on what they think should be singles. And I was finally, finally about to have my favorite song become the single off of Lover, and… I’m not trying to blame the global pandemic that we had, but that is something that happened that stopped ‘Cruel Summer’ from ever being a single. So what’s happening right now, thanks to you… and honestly, no one understands how this is happening, but you guys have streamed ‘Cruel Summer’ so much right now in 2023, it’s like at the top of… it’s rising on the streaming charts so crazy, and my label have just decided to make it the next single.”

Check out a video of Swift’s explanation below.

Bebe Rexha Got Hit Right In The Face By A Phone On Stage And Had To End Her Concert Early

Last night (June 18), Bebe Rexha brought her ongoing Best F*n Night Of My Life tour to New York City’s The Rooftop at Pier 17. The show ended suddenly after a scary moment, though: Rexha had to leave prematurely due to an injury.

A fan-shot video shows Rexha towards the end of her set, singing her and David Guetta’s 2022 hit “I’m Good (Blue).” Suddenly, though, Rexha gets hit right in the face but a phone thrown from the audience. She then got on her knees and bent over, clearly in pain as people from the side of the stage rush out to check on her. Another video shows Rexha, escorted by various personnel, holding her face and leaving the stage as she gives a quick wave to the crowd, who proceeds to chant her name.

It was a sour note to end the night on, especially considering before that, the show was full of more wholesome fan interaction moments. As noted on setlist.fm, during “Hey Mama,” Rexha had two fans engage in a twerk-off. For “I’m Gonna Show You Crazy,” Rexha brought a crying fan on stage and they sang the song together. She then performed “Seasons” after a shouting fan asked her to.

Who Is The Croat On ‘The Walking Dead: Dead City’?

The Walking Dead hasn’t quite put Fear The Walking Dead to sleep yet, but the franchise has already launched its first new spinoff, The Walking Dead: Dead City. Lauren Cohan and Jeffrey Dean Morgan reprise their roles in this series, in which they (unwisely) journey into Manhattan to capture Maggie and Glenn’s son, Hershel. Overall, this season is a thrilling throwback, and in the premiere, we hear about the new “big bad,” known as The Croat. Who is he?

Well, we don’t know everything yet, obviously, since this is only the series premiere (“Old Acquaintances”), and heck, I’m simply happy that the series hasn’t decided to ship Maggie and Negan like a certain group of surely-joking viewers. Instead, they are moving straight into conflict with The Croat, who is portrayed by Željko Ivanel, seen below on the left.

As Maggie relates to Negan, she learned about The Croat when he descended upon her newest encampment, which is basically full of the Hilltop people but in a different location. He’s an old member of Negan’s crew, which Maggie soon figured out due to how she met Negan during Glenn’s death scene. The Croat made this association known by letting loose Negan’s old Savior whistle.

The look on Negan’s face when he hears this whistle? A mixture of shame and regret: “Oh. That Croat.”

As it turns out, The Croat was a Negan understudy of sorts. “Let’s just say that there were a lot of psychos in my crew back then,” the semi-reformed villain declared. “But he always stood out as being an exceptionally insane son of a bitch.” And here’s what Morgan previously told EW:

The Croat is an unwelcome blast from Negan’s past. “He is an underling of Negan’s from back in the day” reveals Morgan, “But he has taken the evil to places where not even Negan in his heyday has gone … Negan has born this monster in Željko’s character.”

Maggie lets Negan (who is also being sought by the Marshals as well) know that he has little choice but to help her find Hershel. At the end of the episode, we learn — when The Croat comes into view while threatening the imprisoned Hershel — that The Croat probably kidnapped Hershel to get to Negan.

“Did you ever meet the man who killed your father?” The Croat asks Hershel. “He lived among your mother’s people for years. Negan. What do you know about him?” And he seems like a true sadistic bastard, as we see when he seemingly lets another prisoner believe that he’s escaping, only to send him crashing from the top of a skyscraper into the walker-filled depths of the city. Surely, we’ll soon find out more about what The Croat really wants.

AMC’s Fear The Walking Dead airs on Sunday nights.

People are sharing the ’90s trends they totally want back and it’s an oasis of nostalgia

There are a lot of reasons to feel a twinge of nostalgia for the final days of the 20th century. Rampant inflation, a global pandemic and political unrest have created a sense of uneasiness about the future that has everyone feeling a bit down.

There’s also a feeling that the current state of pop culture is lacking as well. Nobody listens to new music anymore and unless you’re into superheroes, it seems like creativity is seriously missing from the silver screen.

But, you gotta admit, that TV is still pretty damn good.

A lot of folks feel Americans have become a lot harsher to one another due to political divides, which seem to be widening by the day due to the power of the internet and partisan media.

Given today’s feeling of malaise, there are a lot of people who miss the 1990s or, as some call it, “the best decade ever.” Why? The 1990s was economically prosperous, crime was on its way down after the violent ’70s and ’80s, and pop culture was soaring with indie films, grunge rock and hip-hop all in their golden eras.

The rest of the world was feeling hopeful as globalization brought prosperity and Communism fell in Europe and Asia.

The mood in America would swiftly change at the turn of the century when the dot-com bubble burst in 2000 and the 2001 9/11 attacks would lead to the never-ending “war on terror.”

A Reddit user by the name purplekat20 was clearly feeling some ’90s nostalgia on May 16 when they asked the online forum to share “What ’90s trend would you bring back?” A lot of people noted that it was a lot cheaper to get by in the ’90s, especially considering gas and rent prices. Others missed living in the real world instead of having one foot in reality and the other online.

Here are 17 things people would love to bring back from the 1990s.

1.

“Inflatable furniture and transparent electronics.” — Dabbles-In-Irony

2.

“Hope.” — DeadOnBalllsaccurate

To which HowardMoo responded: “I hate this despair thing that’s all the rage these days. I miss optimism.”

3.

“The ’90s web was the best web. People actually made their own home pages. Now it’s all social media.” — IBeTrippin

4.

“Affordable housing.” — Amiramaha

5.

“Ninety nine cent per gallon gas.” — Maxwyfe

6.

“The ‘mean people suck’ statement everywhere. People seemed generally a lot happier and kinder back then. It was a nice reminder to be kind.” — simplyintentional

7.

“Being detached. Not being attached to an electronic gadget every minute of every day.” — SuperArppis

8.

“Calling fake-ass people ‘poser.’ The state of social media and ‘reality’ tv demands that this word be taken out of retirement.” — rumpusbutnotwild

9.

“Grunge music.” — ofsquire

10.

“I want movies to be the same caliber as ’90s.” — waqasnaseem07

Cremmitquada nailed it on the head with their response, “Everything has been redone. It’s all recycled ideas now.”

11.

“Pants that didn’t have to be super-tight to be in style.” — chad-beer-316

12.

“People really expressing themselves. Very few people take any risks with style anymore, or they do something ‘different’ that’s just enough to still conform. In the ’80s and ’90s there were people doing crazy things with hair and piercing and just didn’t give a fuck. I don’t think I’ll ever see that come back.” — FewWill

13.

“Great animated TV. Spongebob started in the 90s (99 but it counts), Hey Arnold, X-Men, Batman, Justice League, Dexter’s Lab, Powerpuff Girls, Boomerang cartoons… the list goes on.” — Phreedom Phighter

14.

“Fast food restaurant interiors.” — Glum-Leg-1886

15.

“Hypercolor shirts and neon puff paint designs on t-shirts. But here in a few months, that’ll be changed to abortion and voting rights, probably.” — TheDoctorisen

16.

“News that was news instead of rage bait.” — nmj95123

17.

“We had a stable country with a vigorous economy. In fact, we drew a budget surplus some of those years.” — jeremyxt

Characters from ‘Encanto’ get made into portraits so lifelike they look like real people

What do you get when you mix artificial intelligence with editing software?

Mind-blowing images, apparently.

Brazilian digital artist Hidreley Leli Dião creates ultra realistic portraits of beloved cartoon characters as well as historical figures.

The magic is in a unique blend of Photoshop, FaceApp, Gradiente and Remini, according to his contributing article on Bored Panda. Using this formula, even The Simpsons characters feel like real people you would pass on the street.

Some of Dião’s latest works include the characters of Disney’s “Encanto,” like:

Mirabel

The face shape! The hair! The smile! He nailed it.

Luisa

To no one’s surprise, Luisa was highly sought after by fans.

Bruno

I think the song will change to “Everybody Is Talking About Bruno” after seeing this picture.

Isabela

A portrait perfect enough for Miss Perfect herself.

Camilo

It’s like he could hop out of the frame and start shapeshifting in real life. Wow.

Pepa

As a fellow redhead constantly trying to keep emotions at bay, this one was my personal favorite.

Julieta

Here is Mirabel’s mother Julieta, giving off major Aunt Voula vibes from “My Big Fat Greek Wedding.”

And, of course,  Abuela Madrigal

I think it’s safe to say even if Dião doesn’t have a magic door like the Madrigal family, he’s got superpower: digital wizardry.

But of course, this is not Dião’s first Disney deep dive. Feast your eyes on some of these:

Carl Fredrickson from “Up”

Moana from “Moana”

Ariel from “The Little Mermaid”

Also Prince Eric

Pocahontas from “Pocahontas”

Joe Gardner from “Soul”

Hans From “Frozen”

Another long lost Hemsworth brother, rediscovered?

Are you more of a history buff than a Disney nerd? Never fear. Dião’s work has something for everyone.

One collection includes what certain celebrities that met an early death might look like today, such as:

Amy Winehouse

Bruce Lee

John Candy

Janis Joplin

Prince

Marilyn Monroe

Another reimagines what historical figures might have look like in modern times:

George Washington

Benjamin Franklin

Napoleon

Leonardo da Vinci

Mozart

Beethoven

Sir Isaac Newton

William Shakespeare

Vincent Van Gogh

Marie Antoinette

Cleopatra

Alexander the Great

And just for fun, here’s what the Statue of Liberty might look like as a real person:

Thank you Hidreley for giving us some genuine wonder to peruse through on the internet. If you’d like to see more of Hidreley’s work, you can follow his Instagram here.

Nine out of 10 Americans now believe that LGBTQ people should live without discrimination

There have been numerous high-profile controversies surrounding LGBTQ rights recently that make it appear as though there has been a considerable backlash in acceptance of the LGBTQ community among Americans.

There’s the Bud Light backlash after the popular beer brand used trans activist Dylan Mulvaney as a spokesperson. There was an uproar after the Los Angeles Dodgers agreed to honor the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence on LGBTQ Pride Night. There has also been an ongoing controversy surrounding Target selling LGBTQ-friendly merchandise.

Clearly, if people are getting riled up over the normalization of LGBTQ culture throughout America, we must be amid a considerable backlash, right? In reality, the truth is the exact opposite.

A new poll by GLAAD has found that non-LGBTQ Americans are more accepting of the LGBTQ community than ever and want them to be treated like everyone else. So, even though there is a loud contingent of political activists pushing back against LGBTQ progress, they don’t seem to significantly impact the growing movement toward acceptance.

Simply put, the opposition to LGBTQ people may be loud, but it’s only getting smaller.

The survey of over 25,000 non-LGBTQ Americans found three encouraging facts:

  • A 96% supermajority of non-LGBTQ Americans agree that school should be a safe and accepting place for all youth.
  • A 91% supermajority of non-LGBTQ Americans agree that LGBTQ people should have the freedom to live their lives and not be discriminated against.
  • An 84% supermajority of non-LGBTQ Americans support equal rights for the LGBTQ community.

The study also found that despite outrage over Dylan Mulvaney appearing in a Bud Light promotion, the vast majority of Americans are okay with seeing LGBTQ people and families represented in the media.

This corresponds with the fact that on the 2021 to 2022 TV season nearly 12% of all regular characters on prime-time television were LGBTQ. That’s a sea change over the 2005 to 2006 report that found only 2% of all characters were LGBTQ.

  • 75% of non-LGBTQ adults feel comfortable seeing LGBTQ people in advertisements.
  • 73% of non-LGBTQ adults report feeling comfortable seeing LGBTQ characters included in TV shows or movies.
  • 68% of non-LGBTQ adults feel comfortable seeing an LGBTQ family with children included in an advertisement.

The strange state of affairs in America is that even though an increasing number of Americans want LGBTQ people to have equal rights, there has been a staggering number of new laws aimed at disenfranchising them that have been proposed over the past three years.

GLAAD estimates that over 500-plus anti-LGBTQ laws have been proposed in 2023 alone.

“Support for LGBTQ equality has reached an all-time high, but allyship must turn into action,” GLAAD President and CEO Sarah Kate Ellis said in a statement. “Media, content creators, and corporate leaders need to lead and respond to hate with undeterred support for the LGBTQ community, including LGBTQ employees, shareholders and consumers. Allyship is not easy, but when values of diversity, equity, and inclusion are tested, we must defend them unequivocally.”
