The Complete ‘Madden 24’ Player Ratings For The Chicago Bears

This past week, the folks at EA Sports steadily unveiled this year’s player ratings for Madden 24, as the game is now three weeks away from its August 15 release date. Player ratings are always a source of debate, but they do provide at least a decent look at each team’s strengths and weaknesses, with the understanding that preseason ratings can never account for any major leaps players could potentially make in an offseason.

After decades without a star quarterback under center, there is hope in Chicago that the Bears have their man in Justin Fields (76 OVR), which brings optimism into 2023 that there could be a leap taken by the team as a whole. The Bears added DJ Moore (86 OVR) this offseason to try and give Fields a real No. 1 receiver to throw to on the outside and also tried to bolster their offensive line in front of him through the draft with Darnell Wright (74 OVR). Fields, by himself, should give them a strong running game, but it’s going to be how explosive they can be as a passing attack that will determine if they take a big step as an offense. Defensively, they will be led by their two new linebackers, with Tremaine Edmonds (87 OVR) and TJ Edwards (82 OVR) coming in as tackling machines in the middle. That’s important given some concerns about how stout they’ll be up front on the line. In the back end, there’s some good young talent in the secondary alongside Eddie Jackson (85 OVR), and it’ll be interesting to see if it all can come together in Chicago this season with the feeling that the NFC North could be very open.

The Complete ‘Madden 24’ Player Ratings For The Detroit Lions

This past week, the folks at EA Sports steadily unveiled this year’s player ratings for Madden 24, as the game is now three weeks away from its August 15 release date. Player ratings are always a source of debate, but they do provide at least a decent look at each team’s strengths and weaknesses, with the understanding that preseason ratings can never account for any major leaps players could potentially make in an offseason.

The Detroit Lions were one of the most fun stories in the NFL in 2022, just narrowly missing the playoffs and they come into 2023 with real hopes of snapping their six-year playoff drought. Jared Goff (80 OVR) had a very solid season a year ago playing behind one of the NFL’s best offensive lines, forming a terrific bond with Amon-Ra St. Brown (87 OVR) on the outside and Jameson Williams (79 OVR) should bring them another big play threat now that he’s healthy. Losing Jamaal Williams is a real loss, but they replace him with David Montgomery (82 OVR) and Jahmyr Gibbs (77 OVR), who bring some versatility to the backfield. On defense, Aidan Hutchinson (81 OVR) leads the returners, with CJ Gardner-Johnson (84 OVR) being the big addition as they poached the safety from the Eagles in free agency to try and beef up their secondary. If the defense can be a bit better and the offense remains explosive, the Lions should be a real factor in the NFC North this season.

The Complete ‘Madden 24’ Player Ratings For The Green Bay Packers

This past week, the folks at EA Sports steadily unveiled this year’s player ratings for Madden 24, as the game is now three weeks away from its August 15 release date. Player ratings are always a source of debate, but they do provide at least a decent look at each team’s strengths and weaknesses, with the understanding that preseason ratings can never account for any major leaps players could potentially make in an offseason.

The Green Bay Packers have finally parted ways with Aaron Rodgers and enter the 2023 season with some mystery as to what they’ll look like. Jordan Love (70 OVR) will take over as starter and will be able to rely on a strong rushing attack led by Aaron Jones (88 OVR) and AJ Dillon (78 OVR), but has a receiving corps without a lot of experience. Christian Watson (77 OVR) popped at times a year ago, but will now have to prove he can be a No. 1. On defense, they have a lot of talent throughout, headlined by Jaire Alexander (95 OVR) at corner, Rashan Gary (88 OVR) rushing the passer, and Kenny Clark (86 OVR) in the middle of the line. The defense will give them a chance to be competitive this season, but it all comes down to how Love and this offense do as they have to navigate life without Rodgers — but that also might give them a chance to be more creative this season.

The Complete ‘Madden 24’ Player Ratings For The Minnesota Vikings

This past week, the folks at EA Sports steadily unveiled this year’s player ratings for Madden 24, as the game is now three weeks away from its August 15 release date. Player ratings are always a source of debate, but they do provide at least a decent look at each team’s strengths and weaknesses, with the understanding that preseason ratings can never account for any major leaps players could potentially make in an offseason.

The Minnesota Vikings were one of the oddest teams in the NFL in 2022, going 13-4 despite having a negative point differential, as they kept pulling out close wins (and occasionally got blown out of the water) before losing to the Giants in the Wild Card at home. This year, they’ll look to do it all again with a roster that’s very similar, hoping to have similar regular season success but a different playoff outcome. Kirk Cousins (84 OVR) returns at QB and will lean heavily on Justin Jefferson (99 OVR) as his favorite pass-catcher. TJ Hockenson (90 OVR) will also be back for his first full year in Minnesota, while Alexander Mattison (76 OVR) takes over as the starter at running back after Dalvin Cook’s departure. On defense, they have an elite pass rusher in Danielle Hunter (87 OVR) and one of the best safeties in Harrison Smith (90 OVR), but there aren’t a ton of household names around them. That defense was flammable at times a year ago, and they’ll need to tighten up if Minnesota is going to avoid a similar playoff fate as last season.

The Complete ‘Madden 24’ Player Ratings For The Atlanta Falcons

This past week, the folks at EA Sports steadily unveiled this year’s player ratings for Madden 24, as the game is now three weeks away from its August 15 release date. Player ratings are always a source of debate, but they do provide at least a decent look at each team’s strengths and weaknesses, with the understanding that preseason ratings can never account for any major leaps players could potentially make in an offseason.

After trading Matt Ryan last offseason, the Falcons chose to bring along Desmond Ridder (70 OVR) slowly, starting Marcus Mariota most of the year. Now, they’ll turn things over to Ridder and see what he’s got for a year, with a clear plan to rely heavily on the running game with Cordarrelle Patterson (85 OVR) and first-round pick Bijan Robinson (81 OVR). In the passing game, other recent first round picks figure to be prominent, with Drake London (80 OVR) and Kyle Pitts (87 OVR) as the expected top targets for Ridder, as Arthur Smith builds his offense around a rushing attack and big receiving threats. On defense, the Falcons have a strong front with Grady Jarrett (86 OVR) and Calais Campbell (85 OVR), along with a good secondary helmed by Jessie Bates III (91 OVR) and AJ Terrell (87 OVR). Whether they have the linebacker play to bridge between those two strengths is the question for this Atlanta defense, but in an NFC South without a clearly dominant team, there’s a chance for the Falcons to be in the mix should Ridder pop. If not, they’ll likely look to get a high draft pick to land their QB of the future next year.

The Complete ‘Madden 24’ Player Ratings For The Carolina Panthers

This past week, the folks at EA Sports steadily unveiled this year’s player ratings for Madden 24, as the game is now three weeks away from its August 15 release date. Player ratings are always a source of debate, but they do provide at least a decent look at each team’s strengths and weaknesses, with the understanding that preseason ratings can never account for any major leaps players could potentially make in an offseason.

After a solid close to the 2022 season and then landing Bryce Young (74 OVR) in the draft, the Panthers come into 2023 with optimism about where the franchise is going after five straight years without a playoff appearance. Snapping that drought would be a surprise this year, but they will hope to see positive strides after bolstering their roster on the offensive line and at the skill positions to try and give Young the support he needs on offense. Adam Thielen (83 OVR) comes in to provide a veteran receiver for Young, while Miles Sanders (86 OVR) is coming off a terrific season running the ball in Philadelphia. On defense, Brian Burns (87 OVR) and Derrick Brown (84 OVR) headline a young defense that has some very talented players, and there’s reason to believe this Panthers team can be competitive next year, provided Young is able to navigate his rookie year as well as his pedigree suggests.

The Complete ‘Madden 24’ Player Ratings For The New Orleans Saints

This past week, the folks at EA Sports steadily unveiled this year’s player ratings for Madden 24, as the game is now three weeks away from its August 15 release date. Player ratings are always a source of debate, but they do provide at least a decent look at each team’s strengths and weaknesses, with the understanding that preseason ratings can never account for any major leaps players could potentially make in an offseason.

As the New Orleans Saints enter the 2023 season, they’ll be looking at a wide open division thinking they have a very good chance to snap a two-year playoff drought. Derek Carr (78 OVR) comes to town looking to capitalize on a fresh start after almost a decade with the Raiders, and has some real weapons to enjoy in New Orleans. Chris Olave (84 OVR) broke out last year and Michael Thomas (84 OVR) is back, while Alvin Kamara (86 OVR) will miss the start of the season on a suspension but will eventually give Carr a dynamic pass-catcher out of the backfield. On defense, there are some stalwarts like Cam Jordan (87 OVR), Demarrio Davis (90 OVR), Tyrann Mathieu (91 OVR), and Marshon Lattimore (90 OVR) throughout all three levels, but success on that end will be dependent on how the others fill the gaps between them.

The Complete ‘Madden 24’ Player Ratings For The Tampa Bay Buccaneers

This past week, the folks at EA Sports steadily unveiled this year’s player ratings for Madden 24, as the game is now three weeks away from its August 15 release date. Player ratings are always a source of debate, but they do provide at least a decent look at each team’s strengths and weaknesses, with the understanding that preseason ratings can never account for any major leaps players could potentially make in an offseason.

The post-Tom Brady era in Tampa officially begins this fall, with Baker Mayfield (72 OVR) getting another shot as a starter in the NFL. He has some real weapons with Mike Evans (90 OVR) and Chris Godwin (86 OVR) leading the receiving corps, but there are a few spots of bother on the offensive line and an unclear direction coming off a rather dismal offensive season last year. That said, the defense should be good again, with Vita Vea (88 OVR) up front, Lavonte David (91 OVR) at linebacker, and Antoine Winfield Jr (87 OVR) and Jamel Dean (85 OVR) leading a terrific secondary. In an NFC South that doesn’t have a dominant team, there’s room for the Bucs to possibly stay up top, but it’ll require Mayfield to be more consistent than he’s ever been as a starter and the defense to not miss a beat.

The Complete ‘Madden 24’ Player Ratings For The Arizona Cardinals

This past week, the folks at EA Sports steadily unveiled this year’s player ratings for Madden 24, as the game is now three weeks away from its August 15 release date. Player ratings are always a source of debate, but they do provide at least a decent look at each team’s strengths and weaknesses, with the understanding that preseason ratings can never account for any major leaps players could potentially make in an offseason.

The Arizona Cardinals are fully in rebuild mode for the 2023 season. They have a new head coach and new GM turning over the roster around Kyler Murray (79 OVR) who will miss all of this upcoming season rehabbing a torn ACL. As such, this will be an evaluation year to see who can stick and who might be on the move soon. There are some interesting players on both sides of the ball, but quarterback will be an adventure and they figure to give their young guys lots of opportunity to play and make mistakes. Hollywood Brown (84 OVR) and Rondale Moore (80 OVR) are now the leaders in the receiver room after they released DeAndre Hopkins. They’ll hope the offensive line starts to come together after selecting Paris Johnson Jr (77 OVR) at the top of this year’s draft, as they try to do a better job protecting Murray in the future. On defense, Budda Baker (90 OVR) leads a young group with some intriguing talent like Zaven Collins (76 OVR), but it’s overall not expected to be a strong group.

The Complete ‘Madden 24’ Player Ratings For The Los Angeles Rams

This past week, the folks at EA Sports steadily unveiled this year’s player ratings for Madden 24, as the game is now three weeks away from its August 15 release date. Player ratings are always a source of debate, but they do provide at least a decent look at each team’s strengths and weaknesses, with the understanding that preseason ratings can never account for any major leaps players could potentially make in an offseason.

Life came at the Rams quickly in their title defense in 2022, and they enter 2023 in an interesting position. There’s still some talent on the roster, but it’s not clear if there’s enough (or enough depth) to be a contender again, with no real hope of reinforcements in the near future after trading so many draft assets to make that title run. Aaron Donald (99 OVR) is still the most dominant defensive force in football, but there’s not a ton around him right now on that side after they traded Jalen Ramsey to Miami. Cooper Kupp (96 OVR) is still one of the best receivers in football, but likewise, he’s a bit on an island and needs Matthew Stafford (75 OVR) to bounce back from a down year that raised questions about the condition of his shoulder. All told, the Rams don’t appear to be a legit threat in the NFC on paper despite having a pair of the best players in all of the NFL, and how this season goes will likely decide whether big changes are on the horizon in L.A.
