If You Love Starbucks, You Better Also Love Taylor Swift As The Stores Prepare To Play A Giant Swift Playlist Non-Stop

The first leg of Taylor Swift‘s critically-acclaimed The Eras Tour is coming to an end. But that doesn’t mean the fun is over. In honor of Swift completing the first chapter of the Eras era, Starbucks stores across the US will reportedly be playing her music all day during the last day of the first US leg of the tour.

TMZ is reporting that US Starbucks stores will play a list called “Starbucks Lovers” in store, which is comprised of 122 of Swift songs.

The name of the playlist alludes to a commonly misheard line in Swift’s 2014 hit single, “Blank Space,” on which, the line “Got a long list of ex-lovers” has been sometimes heard as “Got a long list, Starbucks lovers.”

Today (August 9) marks the last night of the Eras Tour, which will take place in Los Angeles at the SoFi Stadium. This is the third night of the Los Angeles shows, and over the course of the past few nights, several celebs have made an appearance in the stadium, including Cameron Diaz, Alicia Keys, Heidi Montag, and Spencer Pratt.

Later this month, Swift will play a series of shows in Mexico, and then again in Brazil in November. The next leg of the Eras Tour will begin in February 2024 in Japan.

Nike Announced It Will Release A New Sneaker In Its Kobe Line

Kobe Bryant‘s line of signature sneakers with Nike returned last March following an inability between the brand and Bryant’s wife, Vanessa, to come to terms on a deal that continued their long-standing relationship in the aftermath of Bryant’s passing in 2020. With the sneakers being in high demand both by fans and among NBA players, the hope was that they’d be able to sort something out and get Kobe’s line of shoes back on the market.

That ended up happening, with both the line coming back and Vanessa announcing that there would be conditions to the deal with Nike that will benefit Mamba and Mambacita Sports Foundation and youth basketball in Southern California. Fast forward to Wednesday and Nike announced that a new Kobe sneaker is on the horizon in a pair of tweets.

While details about the shoe are unknown — all we can really tell from the video is that they’ll be a low top, which is not out of the ordinary for the Kobe line — Nike did say that more information will become available via the SNKRS app on Aug. 10. Additionally, the video announcing the news indicates that they’ll be released on Aug. 23, 2023, which would have been Bryant’s 45th birthday.

Sydney Sweeney Reveals What Really Happened During What Appeared To Be Her Family Throwing A MAGA-Themed Party

In 2022, Sydney Sweeney asked the internet to chill the heck out over photos of her mom’s 60th birthday, including one guest wearing a “Blues Live Matter” shirt. There were also partygoers donning MAGA-style “Make Sixty Great Again” hats. “You guys this is wild. An innocent celebration for my moms milestone 60th birthday has turned into an absurd political statement, which was not the intention. Please stop making assumptions. Much love to everyone and Happy Birthday Mom!” she tweeted at the time.

The Euphoria actress further discussed the uproar in an interview with Variety.

“There were so many misinterpretations,” she said. “The people in the pictures weren’t even my family. The people who brought the things that people were upset about were actually my mom’s friends from L.A. who have kids that are walking outside in the Pride parade, and they thought it would be funny to wear because they were coming to Idaho.”

Sweeney continued, “People are so fast to build someone up, and then they love tearing them down. And it’s so fascinating to see.”

Speaking of fascinations, the actress commented on the messy drama with her Anyone But You co-star Glen Powell. “It’s a rom-com. That’s what people want! Glen and I don’t really care,” she said, adding, “It’s fun to give it to ’em.”

Tove Lo Is All-In On A Pair Of ‘Elevator Eyes’ As She Doesn’t Shy Away On Her Steamy New Single

Tove Lo is gearing up to drop the extended version of her 2022 album, Dirt Femme, later this week. With several new songs, the pop star is also giving fans another preview into it with her latest release, “Elevator Eyes.”

Having already performed it on stage a few times, those who have seen the Swedish musician aren’t strangers to the lyrics — which detail a hookup.

“I’m on vacation / No obligations / But maybe we’ll fall in love / Let the stars be our audience,” she details, as the title focuses on the connection between the two free spirits.

The music video is just as hypnotizing, as Tove watches men working out while wearing various glamorous outfits.

Earlier this year, Tove Lo has also dropped “I Like U” and “Borderline,” which will appear among the added songs to Dirt Femme. There will also be an extended version of “No One Dies From Love” and some other remixes that will close out the longer version of the album, according to Genius.

Kim Kardashian Is Being Dragged For A ‘Disconnected’-From-Reality Instagram Post Pushing A $2500 ‘Full-Body Scan’

Kim Kardashian is getting roasted in the replies after the fashionista promoted a super expensive “full-body scan” on Instagram. While wearing scrubs, the upcoming American Horror Story star touted the benefits of the pricey process and swore that her endorsement is “not an ad.”

“I recently did this @prenuvo scan and had to tell you all about this life saving machine,” Kardashian posted. “The Prenuvo full-body scan has the ability to detect cancer and diseases such as aneurysms in its earliest stages, before symptoms arise. It was like getting a MRI for an hour with no radiation. It has really saved some of my friends lives and I just wanted to share #NotAnAd.”

The reality star’s followers were not thrilled and proceeded to light her up in the comments.

“Bragging about getting preventative cancer screenings in a time when people can’t afford medications from their pharmacy isn’t it Kim,” read one of the comments.

“If only it was affordable and accessible to the average person,” another user posted. “As usual you’re disconnected from the average Americans realities.”

“Love a billionaire recommending preventative care that is totally inaccessible to 98% of your fan base, total vibe,” said another commenter.

A more blunt user replied, “Kim we can’t afford eggs.”

Meanwhile, actual nurses were not thrilled to see Kardashian cosplaying as a medical professional, especially while pushing the procedure in a tone-deaf way.

“Take your scrubs off!” one user wrote. “You don’t even have a right to have them on coming from a nurse. This is appalling.”

Lil Yachty Gets In Touch With His Spirit In His New ‘Solo Steppin’ Crete Boy’ Video

Back in January, rapper Lil Yachty released his album Let’s Start Here. Let’s Start Here marked a shift in artistic direction for Yachty, as he tapped into more rock-and-psychedelic-influenced sounds. But today (August 9), Yachty has shared a new single, “Solo Steppin Crete Boy,” which seems to mark a return to his melodic rap sounds.

On “Solo Steppin Crete Boy,” Yachty delivers rapid-fire bars over a smooth, downtempo beat.

“Anywhere, everywhere, he don’t give a damn / Empty the clip, reload the clip, we call it sleight of hand / My memory bad, so I’m f*ckin’ baby on cam’ / Bottega coat, I copped, R.I.P to couple M’s,” he raps.

In the song’s accompanying visual, Yachty is wrapped up in an American flag and later seen vibing outside of a Buddhist monastery.

This summer has been quite eventful for Lil Yachty. Over the summer, he met singer Pinkpantheress, who thanked him for supporting her from the beginning of her music career. He also performed his viral hit, “Poland” six times in a row, in Poland.

Currently, Yachty is gearing up for his Field Trip Tour, which kicks off next month.

In the meantime, you can see the “Solo Steppin’ Crete Boy” video above.

Offset Has Reportedly Settled And Dropped His Lawsuit Against His Former Label, Quality Control Music

It seems Offset’s legal battle with his formal label, Quality Control Music, has come to a close after he decided to drop the lawsuit and reached a settlement with them, according to TMZ.

The rapper had first filed to sue the company in August of 2022, citing that the label was allegedly trying to control his rights to own and the ability to make more solo music outside of Migos and not honoring their past agreements. Specifically, he referred to a deal made in January 2021 that was negotiated, then ignored.

“Not only are the accusations in this lawsuit false, they are totally detached from reality,” Quality Control released in a statement previously. “Offset remains a part of QC. Back to business.”

Earlier this year, the label’s owners also claimed that Offset’s solo music was owned by them and past agreements were invalidated because he spoke out about it online, according to HipHopDX.

But Offset’s lawyer has pushed against this, claiming, “Quality Control no longer owns the copyright to Offset’s solo sound recordings and is no longer licensing Offset’s solo sound recordings to Capitol, and Capitol has acquired ownership of Offset’s solo sound recordings directly from Offset.”

Because of this, although the lawsuit between Offset and Quality Control has been settled, he will not be releasing his future solo music through them.

Megan Fox Was Inspired By The ‘Secrets Of Men’ And The ‘Weight Of Their Sins’ In Her ‘Wicked’ New Book Of Poetry

Megan Fox leads an eventful life these days. You can find her, at any given moment, hanging out in a bikini atop a tree limb or following Eminem on Instagram while on a break from Machine Gun Kelly. She and MKG actually do seem to be in an “alright” phase at the moment, at least judging from the Instagram comments of the Expend4bles star‘s latest post.

MGK did give some face time to that post, which reveals that she penned a book of poetry called Pretty Boys Are Poisonous with a November release date. On Instagram, Fox alluded to how these poems helped her deal with the fallout of holding onto “secrets of men” throughout her life:

“These poems were written in an attempt to excise the illness that had taken root in me because of my silence. I’ve spent my entire life keeping the secrets of men, my body aches from carrying the weight of their sins. My freedom lives in these pages, and I hope that my words can inspire others to take back their happiness and their identity by using their voice to illuminate what’s been buried, but not forgotten, in the darkness.”

The book arrives with this provocative, snakey cover:

One wonders if Megan is simply referring to the “weight of their sins” within her romantic relationships, or if this will dive into any professional dustups that she’s had over the years. She was, of course, wed to Brian Austin Green for over a decade, and her current relationship with MTG seems tumultuous at times. Whatever the case, he doesn’t seem worried, given that he left a “proud of you” comment on Instagram.

Additionally, Fox’s book promises to (via CNN) “show fans her wicked humor through a heartbreaking and dark collection of poetry. Over the course of 80+ poems Fox chronicles all the ways in which we fit ourselves into the shape of the ones we love, even if it means losing ourselves in the process.”

Pretty Boys Are Poisonous will arrive in book stores on November 7.
