An Incomplete List Of Athletes With The Same Measurements As Donald Trump, Who Said He Was 6’3 And 215 Pounds

Former president Donald Trump turned himself in to Fulton County jail in Atlanta, Georgia on Thursday night, as he faces a number of charges as part of a large RICO case against those who tried to overturn the 2020 election results in the state.

While all of that figures to be a very long trial process that won’t conclude any time soon, in the immediate everyone wanted to see a couple of things. One was Trump’s mugshot, which took a bit (and had a fake going around) but did finally hit the internet and got passed around social media alongside plenty of jokes. The second was Trump’s listed height and weight, as he had to self-report his measurements to the jail log and somehow landed on 6’3, 215 pounds.

Now, anyone who has seen Trump knows that is an aggressively flattering weight, but unfortunately the folks at the jail don’t put you through a full combine measurement process when you get booked, so we won’t know the real thing. That said, we can take a look through a sports lens at what a 6’3, 215 pound person looks like and compare that to what the recently incarcerated former president looks like and have a little bit of fun. I also must stress that we have literally done this same thing before, back in 2018 when he claimed to be 6’3, 239 pounds, meaning in the last five years he is apparently down 24 pounds from an already questionable weight claim.

Without further ado, an incomplete list of athletes from the NBA and NFL boasting similar measurements as Donald Trump:

Reggie Jackson: 6’2, 208 pounds
Cam Thomas: 6’3, 210 pounds
Eric Gordon: 6’3, 215 pounds
John Wall: 6’3, 210 pounds

Buddy Hield: 6’4, 220 pounds
Anthony Edwards: 6’4, 225 pounds
Gary Harris: 6’4, 210 pounds
Jamal Murray: 6’4, 215 pounds
Josh Hart: 6’4, 215 pounds
Marcus Smart: 6’4, 220 pounds

Lamar Jackson: 6’2, 215 pounds
Colt McCoy: 6’1, 212 pounds
Joe Mixon: 6’1, 220 pounds
Joe Burrow: 6’4, 215 pounds
Aaron Rodgers: 6’2, 223 pounds
Jalen Ramsey: 6’1, 208 pounds
Jalen Hurts: 6’1, 223 pounds
A.J. Brown: 6’1, 226 pounds
Fred Warner: 6’3, 230 pounds
Keenan Allen: 6’2, 211 pounds
Derwin James: 6’2, 215 pounds

As you can see, Donald Trump is basically the same size as a point guard or a smaller quarterback (or, glass half full, a bigger defensive back). Sure!

Donald Trump’s Long-Anticipated Mugshot Just Dropped, And People Have Thoughts (And Jokes)

What a week it’s been so far in MAGA land. Rudy Giuliani saw the last of his remaining “America’s Mayor” goodwill slide into the Ninth Circle of Hell while posing for a mugshot. By now, Jenna Ellis, Sidney Powell, and the rest of the most ridiculous rogues’ gallery ever have joined suit, and now, it’s King MAGA’s turn in front of the camera.

On Thursday, Donald Trump turned himself into the Fulton County jail on an assortment of RICO-based charges. He waited long enough in the day to surrender to make this a primetime event of sorts at 7:30pm EST. Trump did sit out of this week’s GOP debate, but he couldn’t avoid being “ARRESTED,” as he described in all-caps, because he cannot resist.

Regardless, hey, here’s the first presidential mugshot in U.S. history. Congrats to 45 for this unprecedented entry into the history books.

As people awaited the mugshot, they got a bit creative and full of Kenergy. Yep, fake mugshots surfaced. Trump also got to self-report his own weight, which is lame as hell, man. However, the real mugshot produced many, many jokes.

As well, here’s footage of Trump stepping off the runway in Atlanta, courtesy of CNN.

There’s been quite a buildup to this momentous event, and DA Fani Willis didn’t feel like slipping this step like with the first three sets of criminal charges. Four indictments. So much winning.

The World Couldn’t Wait For A Real Trump Mugshot, So A Fake One Went Incredibly Viral (Along With A Few More)

On Thursday evening, ex-President Donald Trump turned himself into the Fulton County jail on a buffet of indictment charges including some RICO whoppers. He spoke of this as though it was a primetime event, which is probably why he waited until 7:30pm EST to show up. Mind you, Trump decided to sit out this week’s Fox News GOP debate in favor of a low-energy Tucker Carlson interview, but Trump couldn’t sit out being “ARRESTED” in all-caps, of course.

Trump landed in Atlanta shortly before go time, and he was at his destination in a jiffy. He was booked and had a mugshot taken like any “normal” defendant, but of course, there was some special treatment. Trump was allowed to self-report his own weight, which was definitely not accurate.

As people awaited the official historic mugshot, they got a bit creative and full of Kenergy. Yep, fake mugshots surfaced. As you can see above, however, Trump was wearing a solid red tie, not a blue-and-red striped one as shown below.

It’s a pretty damn good photoshop job, but sadly, not real.

If the real one surfaces, the world will certainly be all over it, too. Looks like it will be reserved for some Friday fun.

Donald Trump Has Reportedly Fired His Lawyer, Who Previously Represented Gucci Mane, For Gunna’s Lawyer

Upon his booking in Fulton County Jail, former U.S. President Donald Trump has reportedly changed his legal representation.

Trump, who was indicted by a Fulton grand jury earlier this month on 13 felony counts for attempting to overturn a Georgia election, was previously working with Drew Findling. Findling has represented acts like Gucci Mane and Offset in the past. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Trump has since swapped Findling for Steve Sadow.

“I have been retained to represent President Trump in the Fulton County, Georgia case,” Sadow told the publication. “The president should never have been indicted. He is innocent of all the charges brought against him.”

Sadow has previously worked with Rick Ross, however, his most recent hip-hop-related victory was getting rapper Gunna out of prison.

Trump surrendered at Fulton County Jail today (August 24). At the time of writing, his official mugshot has yet to be released, however, he was reported as having weighed in at 215 pounds and measured at a 6’3″ height.

As one can expect, the internet is currently having a field day with memes.

We can only expect what will unfold once the mugshot drops.

Gucci Mane and Gunna are Warner Music artists. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.

Donald Trump’s Official Weight Is In (Still Waiting On The Mugshot), And No One Is Buying It

Donald Trump was arrested. Again. This time, the former president turned himself in at the Fulton County Jail in Georgia on Thursday night on felony charges in connection with efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election results in the state. The mugshot hasn’t been released yet, but his official height and weight have. One seems more accurate than the other. Guess which!

Trump’s height is listed at 6’3, which seems right. His weight, however, is 215 pounds. His hair alone probably weighs 50 pounds, so this seem suspicious. It was allegedly self-reported by Trump himself and might eventually update, just like it did for Rudy Giuliani, according to the Washington Post.

In the case of former Trump personal attorney Rudy Giuliani, who surrendered on Wednesday, jail records initially listed him at 5′9″ and 180 pounds. But later the same day the numbers had changed without explanation to 5′11″ and 230 pounds. An individual who accompanied Giuliani to his booking, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss a sensitive subject, said they did not recall anyone asking the former New York mayor for his height or weight, nor do they recall him being asked to step on a scale.

CNN’s Jake Tapper was incredulous:

And so was everyone else:

Rotunda was a beloved figure in the wrestling world, having carved out a stellar career in WWE by creating one of the most unique characters wrestling has had in years and continuing to reshape and redefine that character. His death shocked and saddened the wrestling world, as so many in the business had worked with him, been inspired by him, and/or been able to call him a friend. Olivia Rodrigo Admitted She Dated People She ‘Shouldn’t Have’ As She Was Adjusting To Pop Stardom

As she says on her chart-topping single, “Vampire,” Olivia Rodrigo has made some real big mistakes. Fans are eager to hear more stories on her upcoming sophomore album, Guts. Ahead of the much-anticipated album, Rodrigo spoke with New York Times about adjusting to fame.

Back in 2021, Rodrigo went from child star to household name with her musical debut single, “Drivers License.” Follow up singles “Deja Vu” and “Good 4 U” garnered equal buzz, proving that Rodrigo was no flash in the pan. However, during the cycle of these songs, which appeared on her debut album, Sour, she had a rough time adjusting to fame.

“I had such a desire to live and experience things and make mistakes and grow after Sour came out,” said Rodrigo to the Times. I kind of felt this pressure to be this girl that I thought everyone expected me to be. And I think because of that pressure, maybe I did things that maybe I shouldn’t have — dated people that I shouldn’t have.”

Between Sour and Guts, Rodrigo was romantically linked to music producer Adam Faze and DJ Zack Bia. Some of the songs on Sour are rumored to be about her High School Musical: The Musical: The Series co-star, Joshua Bassett.

Guts is out 9/8 via Geffen. Find more information here.

Windham Rotunda, Known As WWE Superstar Bray Wyatt, Unexpectedly Died On Thursday

The wrestling world suffered a tremendous loss on Thursday. In a tweet from WWE chief content officer Triple H, it was announced that Windham Rotunda passed away earlier in the day. Rotunda, who was best known for his time in WWE as Bray Wyatt, was 36 years old.

The cause of death was unclear. Rotunda had not appeared on television for WWE in several months, as he was expected to have a match at WrestleMania 39 against Bobby Lashley. However, due to an unspecified health issue, he was taken off the card. His status was up in the air for months, and earlier in August, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reported that Wyatt was both “getting closer to being cleared” and in the process of recovering from an illness that “was both career and life threatening.”

Rotunda joined WWE back in 2009 as part of its developmental program before making his main roster debut with The Nexus under the name Husky Harris in 2010. After going back down to Florida Championship Wrestling, Rotunda returned to the main roster as Bray Wyatt, the leader of the Wyatt Family, and while the faction eventually broke up, he continued to perform on the main roster. He was a one-time WWE Champion and a two-time WWE Universal Champion.

Rotunda came from a long line of professional wrestlers, as his grandfather, father, and two of his uncles all stepped into the squared circle. His brother, Taylor, spent more than a decade with WWE as Bo Dallas.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Won’t Sign An Extension With The Bucks If He Doesn’t Feel ‘Everybody’s Going For A Championship’

September has the potential to be a very big month for the Milwaukee Bucks. Once it rolls around, Giannis Antetokounmpo will be eligible to sign a maximum contract extension with the team before he enters the final years of his deal — currently, Antetokounmpo is under contract for 2024-25 with a player option for 2025-26.

The Bucks have gone through extension talks with Antetokounmpo in the past, so even though there’s been a slight change in ownership, the team’s brass understands how to navigate these potentially bumpy waters. Part of what makes this so tricky revolves around quotes that Antetokounmpo gave to Tania Ganguli of the New York Times, as the former NBA MVP explained that there is a scenario where he will not sign a new deal with the team.

“The real question’s not going to be this year — numbers-wise it doesn’t make sense,” Antetokounmpo said. “But next year, next summer it would make more sense for both parties. Even then, I don’t know.”

He added: “I would not be the best version of myself if I don’t know that everybody’s on the same page, everybody’s going for a championship, everybody’s going to sacrifice time away from their family like I do. And if I don’t feel that, I’m not signing.”

This isn’t a totally new stance by Antetokounmpo, as he said prior to signing his current deal in 2020 that his top priority is for everyone in Milwaukee to be “fighting for the same thing … which is to be a champion.”

It’s worth noting that this does not necessarily mean that Antetokounmpo would want to become an unrestricted free agent or even try to push his way to another team. He’s spoken in the past about how discussed retiring with the Bucks prior to signing his current deal, and he’s made very clear that he has a number of interests beyond basketball. The simplest answer is usually the correct one in these situations, so the most likely outcome is that he’ll just end up signing a new deal, but we’ll see what ends up happening when next summer rolls around.
