Britney Spears‘ new Instagram post has fans talking, mainly for how sweet it is. She shared a side-by-side of her with Taylor Swift, including one photo that was taken in 2003, and another years later in 2008 at the MTV Video Music Awards. Spears went on to share her memories of the fellow pop star.

“During my Oops Tour, I got a knock at my door,” Spears captioned. “My good friend at the time was the assistant to my manager who was trying to become a manager himself. There was a knock, and then he said, ‘I have a girl named Taylor who wants to come in and sing for you.’ I was like of course !!! He walks in, and she sings a beautiful song with her guitar.”

Spears continues to praise Swift. “We took a picture, and she then became the most iconic pop woman of our generation,” she added. “Kinda cool she plays stadiums, and I prefer her videos over movies any day. She’s stunning !!! Girl crush.”

While Spears hasn’t been spotted at any of Swift’s Eras Tour shows yet, the thought of her now getting a front-and-center spot would be a very fun time.

Kyler Murray Led A Game-Winning Drive In His First Start Back From A Torn ACL

The Arizona Cardinals entered Sunday afternoon’s game against the Falcons at 1-8 on the season, as they are in the first year of a rebuild (or, at minimum, a reset) after major roster and organizational changes in the offseason.

However, while they had the league’s worst record, they have been competitive in a number of games this season and were getting their star quarterback back under center for the first time all year. After starting Josh Dobbs for eight games, the Cardinals traded him to Minnesota where he has since, stunningly, won back-to-back games in place of Kirk Cousins. After a rough outing from rookie Clayton Tune a week ago against the Browns, Kyler Murray made his return to the field for the first time since tearing his ACL a year ago, and injected some life into the Arizona offense.

It was an up-and-down day for Murray, as one might expect in his first NFL game in almost a year, but the final drive of the game was a reminder of his talents and why he was once the first overall pick in the Draft. On a 3rd-and-10, trailing 23-22 with just under two minutes to play, Murray somehow scrambled out of trouble, circling 20 yards backwards before running for a first down as Falcons defenders chased him in vain.

A couple plays later, Murray let it fly downfield and got help from Trey McBride, who tracked an underthrown ball as a Falcons DB overran it, to put Arizona firmly in field goal range.

Arizona would then run the ball and position things to set up a game-winning field goal, one of three walkoff kicks in the late slate, as Murray and the Cardinals picked up a win to boost morale a bit in the desert.

Murray finished the game 19-of-32 passing for 249 yards and one interception, tacking on 33 rushing yards and a touchdown on five carries. It wasn’t his absolute best, but the way he moved was certainly encouraging coming off an ACL and one would think he gained a lot of confidence in his health moving forward the rest of the season.

Tired of ‘hacks?’ Here are 20 of the best life tips sourced from 21.9 million real people.

Arjun Mahadevan gave the world a gift when he crowdsourced the best “life pro tips” from nearly 22 million people. He shared the top 20 in a Twitter thread that’s got over 619,000 views. Mahadevan sourced the tips from the Life Pro Tips subforum on Reddit, which has been running since 2010.

Mahadevan is the CEO of doolaHQ which he calls the “business-in-a-box” for LLCs.

Mahadevan labeled his advice “20 life tips you wish you knew when you were 20,” but they are helpful for everyone regardless of age. They’re useful for anyone who is in a relationship, has a job or wants to stay sane in an aggravating world.

Many ideas involve reframing how we judge others to see them with more compassion. Mahadevan also has some advice for professionals to prevent them from making embarrassing mistakes or wasting other people’s time.

Sometimes the simplest change in behavior or perspective can drastically affect our lives. Here are Arjun Mahadevan’s 20 life tips you wish you knew when you were 20:

1. “If you’re stuck on an annoying call, put your phone on airplane mode instead of just hanging up. The other person will see ‘call failed’ instead of ‘call ended.'”

2. “When you sign up for anything online, put the website’s name as your middle name. That way when you receive spam/advert emails, you will know who sold your info.”

3. “Always tell a child who is wearing a helmet how cool you think their helmet is. It will encourage them to always wear it in the future.”

4. “When you don’t have all the facts, try to give people the most generous reason you can for their behavior. Annoyingly slow driver? Maybe it’s a mom with a birthday cake in the back. This mindset will gradually make you less reactive and more compassionate.”

5. “Do not try to be the man your father would want you to be. Be the man you would like your son to be. It more clearly defines your own convictions, desires, goals and motivates you to be your best.”

6. “When a friend is upset, ask them one simple question before saying anything else: ‘Do you want to talk about it or do you want to be distracted from it?'”

7. “After a bad breakup, do 10 things that your ex would never do with you. You’ll feel better and realize how much of yourself was being held back.”

8. “Before you give your child a unique name, try it out first. Use it on food orders, reservations, appointments where applicable, etc. It’ll give you a glimpse of what they’ll deal with when they’re older and could prevent future issues.”

9. “If you need to cancel a hotel reservation but are unable to because of a 24-hour policy, call the company and move your reservation to a later date. Call back within a few days and cancel for no charge.”

10. “If you tell someone you need to talk to them, for the love of God give some indication of what you need to talk about, or at least that it’s not bad news.”

11. “Never send a work email when you’re emotionally compromised. Type it up, save it as a draft, and walk away. Ideally, sleep on it. You’ll make a smarter choice when you’re not heated.”

12. “Don’t just let kids win at games. You can slow it down, you can teach them strategy, but keep it real. Someday, they will beat you fair and square, and it will be a moment they always remember with pride.”

13. “When cooking things on aluminum foil, first scrunch the foil up, then lay it loosely flat again out on your baking tray. The juices will stay put—and the food will not stick to the foil half as much, if at all.”

14. “If you think of a good idea, write it down. Your brain will try to trick you into thinking you will remember it later, but it’s a liar! Therefore: Write it down!”

15. “It takes 4 minutes a day and almost no cost to maintain dental hygiene. It takes a lifetime and a lot of money to correct it. 2-minute brush and mouthwash in the AM, 2-minute brush and floss in the PM.”

16. “Don’t wait until you have ‘time’ to start a fitness program. Because then when you get busy again, you’ll stop. The best time to start is actually when you’re busy. Learning how to fit it in when time’s are tough means you’ll stick with it over the long haul.”

17. “When using text messages or IMs for business, say everything you need to say in the first message. Don’t just say ‘hi’ or ‘hey’ or ‘are you there’ or ‘are you busy.'”

18. “Instead of feeling that you’ve blown the day and thinking, ‘I’ll get back on track tomorrow, think of each day as a set of four quarters:

• Morning• Midday• Afternoon• Evening

If you blow one quarter, you get back on track for the next quarter.”

19. “Many problems in marriage are really just problems with being a bad roommate. Learn how to be a good roommate, and it will solve many of the main issues that plague marriages. This includes communicating about something bothering you before you get too angry.”

20. “Ask yourself ‘what does it matter to me’ the next time you find yourself judging someone for their clothing or hobbies. The more you train yourself to not care about the personal preferences of other people, the more relaxed and nicer you become as a person.”

Kali Uchis Showed Camp Flog Gnaw Why Her Set Was ‘Worth The Wait’

Los Angeles’ Camp Flog Gnaw returned yesterday for 2023, with fans flocking to Dodger Stadium to watch their favorite acts perform for the first of the two-day annual music festival. One of those performers was Kali Uchis, who took the stage in the afternoon.

During Uchis’ set, she brought out her “Worth The Wait” collaborator, Omar Apollo, as a surprise guest — and the crowd went wild. As she sang, Apollo sat in a chair, and the dancers started to twirl both around and on him. At one point, one of Uchis’ background dancers started to give him a lap dance — and he looked thrilled.

Eventually, he then stood up with a microphone to deliver his vocals from the track. It appears on Uchis’ Red Moon In Venus album that dropped earlier this year, the first of her two promised albums in two different languages.

The second is Orquídeas, which is set to arrive early in 2024. Uchis will be performing entirely in Spanish on it — as she had previously let fans decide what they’d hear first.

“The orchid is the national flower of Colombia, and we have more species of orchid than anywhere on earth,” Uchis previously shared in a statement. “I always felt distinctly intrigued and magnetized by the flower. This album is inspired by the timeless, eerie, mystic, striking, graceful, and sensual allure of the orchid.

Tyler, The Creator kicked off his annual Camp Flog Gnaw for 2023 at Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium yesterday. As the first day of the music festival, fans got to watch him play a headlining set, filled with popular songs like “Earfquake” and “Yonkers.” During one moment of his performance, he also addressed the crowd to reveal the status of any upcoming music — giving a hilariously sarcastic response that has since gone viral.

“Y’all wanted new music?” he asked the crowd. “Aw aw, and I wanted a father, but you don’t get everything. So, I’m gonna go through my catalog instead, and you pieces of sh*t are gonna sing along.”

Fans in the audience still seemed to cheer anyway.

While he didn’t debut any new tracks, he did play sixteen songs in total, and even brought out flamethrowers for “New Magic Wand” — according to Setlist.Fm.

Later on in the evening, Tyler made a surprise appearance over at Kendrick Lamar and Baby Keem’s night set as The Hillbillies. He didn’t pop up until the duo’s self-titled final song, where he just danced alongside them. (He also was a special guest in the music video, when the song first dropped back in May.)

Lil Kim Is Convinced That Her New ‘The Queen Bee’ Memoir Presales Will Somehow Be ‘Surpassing The Bible’

Lil Kim recently held an Instagram Live, where she discussed the massive plans she has for her upcoming 2024 memoir, The Queen Bee. At one point, she brings up specifically just how high she believes the projections of its sales will be.

“When we post our pre-sales, we be surpassing the Bible,” Lil Kim said. “And that’s crazy. And the thing is, it’s like the Bible, like I don’t take that lightly. I already know that. But it’s like some crazy sh*t going on behind the scenes.”

Right now, The Bible is still the highest-selling book of all time. This basically means to surpass this, Kim would have to have at least five million people purchase her memoir. Could the presales make her a New York Times bestselling author upon its release? Absolutely. But having numbers high enough to exceed The Bible is unlikely.

Later on in Kim’s live stream, she also spoke about the struggles she was having with the publishing industry. “You have to be really careful when you deal with these book companies because they try to, like, literally take advantage of you,” she added.

After watching the clip, viewers also had a lot of thoughts about Kim’s Bible comment.

“She DID not surpass the Bible like are you fr,” one user commented.

“Which version of the Bible ?” another asked.

Watch A Rage-y Male Karen Make An A** Of Himself By Rampaging In A McDonald’s Drive-Thru Window Because He Didn’t Get His Fries Fast Enough, Or Something

It’s no secret that working in fast food is hard. You’re on your feet for hours, the pay is low, and you have to deal with a lot of a**holes. But few people in the history of fast food have been worse than the guy in the video embedded below. Watch as he absolutely loses his sh*t and basically trashes the restaurant with whatever he can get his hands on while temper-tampering through the window of the McDonald’s in White Marsh, Maryland — which feels almost too on the nose — and yelling things like “GIVE ME SOME FOOD!” and “GIVE ME SOME F**CKING FRIES!” in between hurling crude insults at the store’s employees.

According to TMZ, the guy is still on the loose and has yet to be arrested.

During his tirade, the man also used some foul language, calling the staff a “b***h” and other names.

We’ve reached out to the Baltimore County Police Department to see if they’re investigating … so far no word back.

As far as we know, the irate customer is still on the loose.

What’s wild is that despite being arguably the worst drive-thru customer ever, the staff at the McDonald’s still gave him some food. Here’s hoping he got some “special sauce” on his burger. And hopefully banned from McDonald’s for life. This man doesn’t deserve any Grimace shakes.

UPDATE: WBAL in Baltimore reports that “police said they have since identified the person and charges have been filed, but they did not elaborate.”

Trippie Redd recently canceled his Take Me Away Tour, much to the disappointment of the fans who had tickets. However, in a new video on social media, the rapper revealed the explanation about why he did — and he has a very valid reason: he had a kid.

“You guys have been talking about tour and why I canceled it, you want an explanation so boom,” Trippie Redd said, as he filmed himself smoking. “I’m dropping a project named Saint Michael, right? What if I was to tell you that’s my son’s name and I canceled tour because I had to deliver my son.”

“Life be life-ing,” he added. “Y’all sitting there bashing me, saying all this crazy stuff and here I’m just bringing my child into the world, you know?”

The timing also lines up perfectly, as Trippie recently dropped his new EP on Friday, November 10. He confirmed that his son’s full name is Saint Michael White, as he also shared a picture of him in an Instagram story. The baby is seen in a cozy green matching outfit, complete with a hat, as he has a tiny binky.

Boomer dad plays song to comfort his daughter going through divorce and it’s simply perfect

There’s no shortage of stories out there showing how emotionally distant or out of touch some baby boomers can be. Younger generations are so fed up with it that they have their own catchphrase of frustration, for crying out loud.

The disconnect becomes especially visible in parenting styles. Boomers, who grew up with starkly different views on empathy, trauma and seeking help, have a reputation for being less than ideal support systems for their children when it comes to emotional issues.

But even if they often have a different way of showing it, boomer parents do have love for their children, and many try their best to be a source of comfort in some way when their kid suffers.

Occupational therapist Jacqueline (@jac.rose8) recently shared a lovely example of this by posting a video of her boomer dad helping her through a divorce in the best way he knew how.

Turns out, it was the perfect thing.

“My husband just said he’s divorcing me and my dad came over and I was non-functional in bed,” Jacqueline wrote her video, adding that “…boomer dad didn’t know what to do, so he played his favorite song, the Dua Lipa ‘Rocket Man’ remix 😂”

In the clip, Jacqueline’s dad never really looks at her, but shifts the focus by describing what he imagines while listening to the song and performing the sweetest dad dance ever.

Watch:

The heartwarming moment served as a great reminder that words aren’t always necessary.

‘“I am CRYING. This is so precious, he is trying his hardest to be there for you in any capacity. How pure ❤️,” one person wrote.

Another added, “This would instantly make me feel better.”

Even Jacqueline shared in the comments that her dad “didn’t know what to say but he was there and helped me in such a sweet way. He’s the best 🥰”

Proving that he has multiple love languages, Jacqueline later shared that her dad also went out to Home Depot to replace her lightbulbs. Not only that, but her mom also made Jacqueline’s favorite dinner. Maybe boomers are okay after all.

Really, it goes to show that great parents can be found in every generation. Part of what makes them great is knowing that they don’t need to be perfect in order to show up when things are hard. Being there and sharing their love is enough.

Pizza guy whose quick thinking saved a woman’s life gets the reward of a lifetime

Joey Grundl, a pizza delivery driver for a Domino’s Pizza in Waldo, Wisconsin, is being hailed as a hero for noticing a kidnapped woman’s subtle cry for help.

The delivery man was sent to a woman’s house to deliver a pie when her ex-boyfriend, Dean Hoffman, opened the door. Grundl looked over his shoulder and saw a middle-aged woman with a black eye standing behind Hoffman. She appeared to be mouthing the words: “Call the police.”

“I gave him his pizza and then I noticed behind him was his girlfriend,” Grundl told WITI Milwaukee. “She pointed to a black eye that was quite visible. She mouthed the words, ‘Call the police.'”

domestic abuse, celebrity, community, kidnapped

When Grundl got back to his delivery car, he called the police. When the police arrived at the home, Hoffmann tried to block the door, but eventually let the police into the woman’s home.

After seeing the battered woman, Hoffmann was arrested and she was taken to the hospital for her wounds.

Earlier in the day, Hoffman arrived at the house without her permission and tried to convince her to get back into a relationship with him. He then punched her in the face and hog tied her with a vacuum power cord.

“If you love me, you will let me go,” she pleaded, but he reportedly replied, “You know I can’t do that.” He also threatened to shoot both of them with a .22 caliber firearm he kept in his car. The woman later told authorities that she feared for her life.

An alert pizza delivery driver helped save a woman from her abusive ex-boyfriend, police say. A 55-year-old Grafton man now faces several counts of domestic …

A day later, Grundl was seen on TV wearing a hoodie from Taylor Swift’s “Reputation Tour” and her fans quickly jumped into action, tagging Swift in photos of the hero. Grundl already had tickets to go to an upcoming Swift concert in Arlington, Wisconsin, but when Swift learned of the story, she arranged to meet Grundl backstage.

“She … she knew who I was,” Grundl jokingly tweeted after the concert. “I’m thoroughly convinced Taylor gave me a cold.”

“This has been one of the most exciting weeks of my life,” Grundl said. “I’m legitimately getting emotional and I almost never get like this. But as the likely most memorable week of my entire life comes to an end … I guess I can really say … I’m doing better than I ever was.”
