“Presha” rapper 2 Chainz has been on a roll promoting his latest collaborative album, Welcome 2 Collegrove, with Lil Wayne. Unfortunately, that push to get the word out has come to a screeching halt. According to TMZ, between late Friday, December 8, and early Saturday morning, 2 Chainz was reportedly rushed to the hospital following a terrible car accident.

The outlet revealed that after leaving the Miami, Florida strip club Booby Trap, 2 Chainz’s vehicle was allegedly struck from the rear, causing him to lose control and hit the road’s siding. In a video clip shared by 2 Chainz on his official Instagram page, the damage on the vehicle extends from the rear of the car across the entire driver’s side, with the wheel almost completely removed from the car’s frame.

TMZ reports that although 2 Chainz allegedly suffered neck and other bodily injuries, he is currently in stable condition. Days before the incident, 2 Chainz visited Miami, Florida, for their city’s annual Art Basel festival. He attended and hosted several promotional events for Welcome 2 Collegrove, including a theatrical album screening at Miami’s open-air venue, The Urban.

The right loves to harp on Joe Biden’s age and his alleged mental decline. They do so while ignoring someone who’s only a few years younger than him, and clearly much worse. In recent months Donald Trump has done things like mix up who’s currently president, claim Joe Biden wants to start “World War II,” and let slip that he’s “waging an all-out war on democracy.” But is his brain really turning into mush or is he just being funny? Trump is claiming the latter.

Per Mediaite, the former president went on a late night tear Friday, which included him addressing charges that his mind is going.

“I never confused Crooked Joe Biden with Barack Obama, except in the form of a sarcastic joke, which the Fake News knows and fully understands,” Trump posted on his rinky-dink Twitter clone. “Sarcasm is a very dangerous thing for me to use!!!”

What could have prompted this outburst? Perhaps it was Megyn Kelly, who recently co-moderated one of the GOP primary debates he skipped, telling Glenn Beck that he’s not doing so hot, gaffe-wise.

“This is what happens when you’re 77 years old!” Kelly said. Kelly said Trump has repeatedly confused Biden and Barack Obama. “Any of us could have a slip of the tongue, but it’s happening to him repeatedly.”

Even though Kelly admitted she’d take Trump over Biden “any day of the week,” that probably wasn’t enough for the big guy, who already despises her.

This isn’t the first time Trump felt compelled to assure supporters that his mind isn’t melting. The other week he laid out a wildly incoherent excuse for his repeatedly confusing Biden with Obama. In the meantime, he’s also been letting slip that he’d definitely be a “dictator” if re-elected, but only for one day, so no one need worry much.

Today’s GOP hates voter fraud. They hate it. They claim there was a massive conspiracy to rob Donald Trump of votes three years ago. They’ve never provided proof of this, but that hasn’t stopped them from alleging it happened anyway. But just because they despite something doesn’t mean they wouldn’t do it themselves, as witness what the First Lady of Florida recently told her husband’s supporters.

Per The Daily Beast, during an appearance on Fox News, Casey DeSantis, standing next to her husband Ron, who is running for president, made a curious plea regarding the forthcoming Iowa caucus, which may decide her spouse’s fate.

“We’re asking all of these moms and grandmoms to come from wherever it might be—North Carolina, South Carolina—and descend upon the state of Iowa to be a part of the caucus because you do not have to be a resident of Iowa to be able to participate in the caucus,” Casey said. Meanwhile her husband stood there awkwardly by her side, his token weird smile frozen on his face.

She added, “So moms and grandmoms are going to be able to come and be a part and let their voice be heard in support of Ron DeSantis.”

It was quickly pointed out that what Casey seemed to be advocating for — non-Iowans to vote for her husband in an Iowa election — was illegal. It was so illegal that the Iowa GOP’s Twitter/X account had to clarify that those from out of state can’t vote there.

Casey herself later clarified that, no, she wasn’t asking for people to commit voter fraud, but rather for people to volunteer or whatever.

Ron DeSantis has already had a chaotic campaign, and he doesn’t need “encouraging voter fraud” to make things worse.

Spotify made headlines recently, as the company announced that it would be revising its royalty system. While this would only mean that songs would need 1,000 streams now to qualify for payments, it does raise questions about how much the streams add up — especially when it comes to major hits that reach a billion plays.

How Much Does Spotify Pay For 1 Billion Streams?

This week, Snoop Dogg opened up about what he got from Spotify for a billion streams, during his recent interview on the Business Untitled podcast. Spoiler: He wasn’t very pleased with the amount.

“In the streaming world, I could show you right now, they sent me some sh*t from Spotify where I got a billion streams,” Snoop Dogg said. “My publisher hit me. I said, ‘Break that down. How much money is that?’ That sh*t wasn’t even $45,000.”

The platform reportedly pays about $.003 per single stream, however, Spotify has denied that they pay per stream. In theory, Snoop Dogg should have been getting at least three million for reaching a billion streams, based on the calculations. NY Daily News also estimated a similar figure earlier this year when Britney Spears’ “Toxic” hit 1 billion streams.

Zion Williamson came under some major criticism in the aftermath of the New Orleans Pelicans’ In-Season Tournament loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday night. Following his 13-point, 3-rebound effort in the team’s 133-89 loss, Williamson was on the receiving end of one of the more emphatic takedowns that we’ve seen by Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley. It very clearly came from a place of these two Hall of Fame inductees seeing untapped greatness in Williamson.

Their disappointment was echoed by J.J. Redick on Friday’s edition of NBA Today. Redick, who is one of the best personalities in the NBA media sphere at delivering these kinds of hard truths, expressed his disappointment in Williamson, both on the night and on the season. Part of it, as Redick said, is that “Zion Williamson has not bought into his own career yet.”

“I was disappointed, and overall, I’ve been disappointed in Zion this season,” Redick said. “We can certainly point to counting stats and say he’s having a fine season, but you can be in the building, you can watch on TV, you can be courtside and you can see he’s not in shape. He’s still not in shape despite everything that he’s gone through. Despite numerous conversations with legends of the game about being in shape. He gets called out on national television once or twice a year for this thing, this very thing.

“Earlier this season, he had a press conference where he was trying to buy into what the team wanted, and the reality is, Zion Williamson has not bought into his own career yet,” Redick continued. “And that is disappointing because as someone who’s a fan of his, a former teammate, a fellow Duke guy, I know — we all know — how great he can be. We’ve seen those flashes of greatness. But to do that for an extended period of time, to reach his full potential — and really, RJ, that’s all we can ask for as players, whatever your potential is, to reach that — he’s never gonna get there if he doesn’t buy in to his own career.”

As Redick mentioned, he and Williamson were teammates for half a season in New Orleans back in 2020-21, which was the first year that Williamson earned a spot on an All-Star team. On the year, Williamson is averaging 22.2 points and 5.6 rebounds per game, both of which are the lowest marks of his career.

Jaylen Brown’s night came to a premature end on Friday in what was one of the more ridiculous examples of a referee taking their job a bit too seriously. Brown and the Boston Celtics played host to the New York Knicks on Friday night, and during the fourth quarter, Brown got called for a foul on Knicks guard Immanuel Quickley.

It wasn’t the worst foul call that we’ve ever seen, but the referee could have let this one go. Still, Brown felt the need to say something here, which led to him getting a technical foul. And then, things escalated even though Brown went to the bench. After he made his way over there, he looked like he said something that the amateur lip readers can figure out which rubbed the referee the wrong way. This got him his second technical, which sent him to the locker room with 7:19 left in the game.

Brian Scalabrine pointed out that the first technical foul appeared to come because Brown wanted the referee to make a similar call on the other end of the floor, which, if that gets you a technical foul, that is pretty insane. We’re sure that Brown will address this sometime soon and shine some light on what, exactly, happened here.

In a story that would make a fantastic, albeit long, country song, Lindsay Brown and her husband Cade of Alabama have found love even though they are stepsiblings who were once banned from seeing each other by their parents.

Lindsay shared the dramatic saga on TikTok, where she has nearly 3,000 followers.

It all began in 2007 when Linday was 14 and Cade was 16, and the couple would secretly meet at her house. However, on the fourth night they were together, Lindsay’s mother walked in on them and Cade had to run out of the house in his birthday suit.

“He grabbed his keys, his phone, he did not grab his clothes,” Lindsay said in a TikTok post. “He ran through the yard, up the street to his truck naked. Then he drove home and snuck in his house naked and his parents never knew any of that happened.”

After the incident, Lindsay’s mom reached out to Cade’s parents, who agreed the two shouldn’t see each other. The teens didn’t have a big problem with the ban, mainly because Cade had a girlfriend at the time.
