Days ago, Justin Timberlake announced Everything I Thought It Was, his upcoming sixth solo album and his first in a half-dozen years, since 2018’s Man Of The Woods (excluding his work on the Trolls World Tour soundtrack in 2020). Now he’s shared the first taste of the upcoming album, a new song called “Selfish.”

While JT kicked off the Man Of The Woods album cycle with the upbeat lead single “Filthy,” “Selfish” is more of an affectionate slow-burner. On the song’s hook, he sings about his obsession with and devotion to the object of his desire: “Your lips were made for mine / And my heart would go flatline / If it wasn’t beating for you all the time / So if I get jealous / I can’t help it / I want every bit of you / I guess I’m selfish.”

Timberlake is in the middle of a busy stretch at the moment. He recently played a free concert in his hometown of Memphis and he has another free show coming up in New York City. Speaking of NYC, he’s probably in the city right now getting ready for this weekend, when he’ll be the musical guest on Saturday Night Live.

Snoop Dogg has been an entertainment icon for decades, and given his long-running association with and love for weed, you’d think that at this point, he would have been able to have a smoke with anybody he’d ever want. It turns out there’s still one person on his to-do list, though.

Snoop was a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night (January 24). At the very top of the conversation, Kimmel asked if there’s somebody Snoop has always wanted to get high with but hasn’t yet had the chance, or anybody he has smoked with that people might find surprising. Snoop insisted he didn’t want to “tell on anyone,” but as for who’s on his “bucket list,” he said, “I would love to smoke with Sade.” He added, “Hopefully get a record out of her, too.”

Speaking of new music from Sade: In 2022, it was reported that Sade was the first artist to record in the re-opened Miraval Studios, Brad Pitt’s recording studio in France. If a new Sade album is on the way, it would be the first since 2010’s Soldier Of Love. Meanwhile, Snoop and Sade had something in common in 2023, when they were both inducted into the Songwriters Hall Of Fame.

Luka Doncic had a fan kicked out of their seat at the American Airlines Center during Wednesday night’s game between the Dallas Mavericks and the Phoenix Suns. While the game took place in his home gym, multiple reporters from inside the building tweeted that a fan in a Suns jersey said something that rubbed Doncic the wrong way.

Despite the fact that Dallas went on to lose 132-109, Doncic still spoke with the media after the game, and unsurprisingly, he was asked about the issues he had with the fan. While there was plenty of back-and-forth with one reporter in particular — ESPN’s Tim MacMahon, who Doncic essentially accused of frequently trying to paint him in a negative light — Doncic explained that he found the fan’s words inappropriate throughout the course of the game, and that the ejection was him reaching a breaking point.

While Doncic would not go into specifics of what the fan said that upset him, he claimed that “he was cursing me the whole first half, too.”

“I never would eject a fan,” Doncic went on to say. “They pay for tickets. But I had enough, a little bit of frustration.”

In addition to having a fan kicked out of the game, Doncic had 34 points, nine assists, eight rebounds, two blocks, and a steal in 39 minutes of work.

Around the December release of Think Later, Tate McRae spoke with Uproxx about the hockey aesthetics around the album. That’s most evident in her viral “Greedy” video, in which she exudes boss energy on a Zamboni and dances her ass off in an empty hockey rink.

“My brother is a hockey player, and having grown up in Calgary, hockey has always been a part of my life,” McRae told Uproxx during this interview. “In creating the Think Later era, hockey just became a great way to pay homage to my roots and highlight the athleticism in my fashion, style, and approach to live performances.”

McRae will continue to do just that at the NHL All-Star Game on February 3 in Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena. On Wednesday, January 24, the NHL announced McRae as a headline performer. (Insert low-hanging joke about McRae making it to an NHL All-Star Game before her rumored ex, Columbus Blue Jackets center Cole Sillinger.)

As per an official NHL release, McRae “will headline the second intermission performance.”

The Canadian superstar was previously confirmed as the celebrity captain for Team MacKinnon (named after Colorado Avalanche star Nathan MacKinnon). Meanwhile Justin Bieber — noted lifelong Toronto Maple Leafs fan — will be the celebrity captain for Team Matthews (named after Leafs star Auston Matthews). Bieber’s Drew House, alongside Adidas, designed the official 2024 NHL All-Star jerseys.

The NHL’s press release also confirmed that McRae’s performance “will be featured in the game broadcast airing at 3 p.m. EST on Sportsnet, CBC, and TVA Sports in Canada and ABC and ESPN+ in the United States” on Saturday, February 3. We can only hope she delivers an elongated version of her “Greedy” video.

Last February, Bad Bunny and Kendall Jenner began sparking dating rumors, which were set ablaze when TMZ caught them mid-kiss in March. By May, the rumored couple were officially memeified when Jenner whispered something in Benito’s ear while sitting courtside at a Los Angeles Lakers game. Bad Bunny didn’t explicitly confirm his relationship status with Jenner, but he danced around it with Vanity Fair last September, and the following month, they co-starred in a Gucci campaign that felt a lot like a hard launch. Regardless, in December, People reported that Bad Bunny and Jenner were “no longer a couple.”

But! We might be starting the cycle all over again.

Are Bad Bunny And Kendall Jenner Back Together?

Who’s to say? Everything about this alleged, reported, rumored couple was vague, so, of course, all we have go off of as to whether Bad Bunny and Jenner have reconciled is an exclusive Us Weekly report, which reports that the two “have started seeing one another again.”

“Kendall’s friends aren’t surprised whatsoever that she’s seeing Bad Bunny again,” an unnamed source told the publication. “They figured this would happen because she has a habit of going back to exes. It’s not the type of situation where they’re fully back together, but they have hung out a few times since breaking up last month.”

The source added, “At the end of the day, if she’s happy, then of course they support her and whoever she decides to date. They’re still not convinced he’s The One for her, but if he treats her well then they’re good with it.”

The year kicked off in fine fettle with yet another beloved Disney character entering the public domain: Mickey Mouse, or at least the early versions of him, who joins the also now free Winnie the Pooh and others. It didn’t take long for a slew of decidedly un-family-friendly Mickey movies to be announced. And just as he threatened to do at the end of last year, John Oliver is getting ready to make Mickey say and/or do some pretty nasty things.

Per Deadline, Last Week Tonight, Oliver’s longtime socio-political comedy show, bowed an ad for its forthcoming new season, which kicks off February 19. The picture finds Oliver smiling as he cowers behind a giant replica of Mickey circa Steamboat Willie, the game-changing 1928 short that proved the first major synch sound cartoon, not only popularizing Mickey and his gal pal Minnie but putting The Walt Disney Company on the map.

“What are they gonna do, sue?” reads the ad’s caption, taunting the company to do just that.

Could Disney sue Warner Bros. Discovery, which owns Last Week Tonight, as well as all those other naughty Mickey movies? They haven’t gone for Adult Swim, who’ve already dropped their own Steamboat Willie parody. Still, it could happen. In one of the show’s final episodes from last year, Oliver, while teasing more Mickey mockery to come, speculated that they could.

“We are staking our claim to Mickey Mouse right now,” Oliver joked, “And I know Disney’s lawyers might argue that this Mickey is closely associated with their brand, although they should know that he’s pretty associated with our brand now too.”

So get ready for mid-February, when Oliver could help ignite a firestorm between two of the biggest media companies, all over a cartoon rat.

The Golden State Warriors are playing host to the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday night. It’s the first game the team will play since the death of beloved assistant coach Dejan Milojevic, who passed away last week due to a heart attack. Milojevic was 46 years old.

The NBA postponed a few Warriors games as the team attempted to process the loss, and unsurprisingly, it was an emotional scene in the Chase Center prior to tip. Golden State took some time prior to the game to pay tribute to their beloved assistant, which included a video that played on the jumbotron.

Steve Kerr grabbed a microphone and addressed those in attendance, and spoke about the coach and person that Milojevic was during his time on earth. And at the conclusion of his address to the crowd, he insisted that everyone in attendance gave “an ovation that he can hear up in heaven,” which led to thunderous applause from everyone who made their way into the building.

Every member of the Warriors wore special jerseys for the ceremony, as they replaced their names across the back with “Milojevic.” And before they could start playing, all of the players took them off and laid them down, one by one, on the seat dedicated to him on Golden State’s bench.

Bourbon & Beyond has range. Last year, the Louisville, Kentucky-based festival was headlined by the likes of Brandi Carlile, Bruno Mars, Billy Strings, Train, The Killers, Duran Duran, Hozier, The Black Keys, The Black Crowes, and The Avett Brothers. On Wednesday, January 24, Bourbon & Beyond unveiled an equally expansive 2024 lineup, featuring Zach Bryan, Dave Matthews Band, Tyler Childers, Neil Young, Beck, The National, and 21 rows’ worth of artists more on the poster.

Burboun & Beyond will take place within the Highland Festival Grounds at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Kentucky from September 19 to September 22, 2024.

There wasn’t even supposed to be a second round of Big Little Lies. The original season, which bowed in 2017, was supposed to be a one-off, much like The White Lotus was a few years later. Then they came back for more. But will they do so again, for a third time? Last week HBO brass revealed they’re working on it. And if Season 3 does get off the ground, it might all be thanks to co-star Nicole Kidman’s teenage daughter.

In a new chat with Vogue Australia (in a bit caught by Entertainment Weekly), the Oscar-winning actress talked about watching the show with Sunday, who’s 15. That’s a little young to be watching such an adult program, but she, Kidman says, has a “very good understanding of things, and life, so she was hand-held through it.”

And heck, Sunday loved it — loved it so much she asked if there was more. When Kidman informed her daughter that was it, she wasn’t having it.

“‘No. There’s no more discussion. The third series has to happen…I’m sick of the talk. Sick of circling it. Just get it done,’” Kidman recalled Sunday saying. “You need a teenager to go, ‘Enough. Just do it.’”

Did that do the trick? Possibly. Reese Witherspoon, one of the other main cast members, also said at the Golden Globes the other weekend that they’re working on it. Still, as said HBO exec said, wrangling such a big name cast back together can be tricky.

“Where you have all these stars, you’ve got to get their schedules in line, we have to get it written,” said HBO/Max honcho Casey Bloys. “So, there’s a lot that needs to be done. It’s very early stages right now. The entire cast is doing shows and movies, and everybody’s very busy.”

But when/if the stars align again, it might be all the fault of Nicole Kidman’s one daughter.

Now the question becomes whether the 2024 staging will be able to top the sentiment expressed in Uproxx‘s Philip Cosores 2023 review, entitled, “Ohana Festival Does Everything Just A Little Bit Better.” There are a few other logistical questions as well, like the one below.

When Do Tickets For Ohana Festival 2024 Come Out?

Ohana Festival hasn’t announced anything beyond the dates for its 2024 festival, but the Instagram announcement also instructed, “Sign up for SMS at the link in bio to be the first to know about the 2024 lineup, tickets, festival updates, and more.”

For reference, the 2023 Ohana Festival lineup was announced on April 11, 2023 — the headliners were The Killers, Haim, Eddie Vedder, The Chicks, Foo Fighters, and Pretenders — and the presale began two days later. VIP tickets sold out immediately, while 3-Day General Admission tickets were sold out by April 16. So, if you’re serious about attending Ohana Festival, be ready to pounce — likely in mid-April.
