Taylor Swift made her way to Las Vegas to watch a football game on Sunday evening. Swift, of course, is in town to see Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs take on the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII, and despite having a prior Eras Tour stop in Japan over the last few days, she was able to make it back to the States in time for the game.

It’s hardly the first time that Swift has showed up in a box to watch Kelce and the Chiefs play — she’s been a fixture at their games this season, especially during the playoffs — and because she’s the most famous person in the world, the cameras have a way of finding her while she’s watching the game. That, unsurprisingly, happened during a stoppage in play during the Super Bowl, only this time, Swift did her best Jason Kelce impression by chugging the rest of her drink while she was on the jumbotron.

Kudos to Swift, who seems like she’s having the time of her life heading to games over the last few months. As for Kelce, well, the first half could have gone a bit better for him, as the Chiefs entered the locker room down 10-3, while Kelce’s most notable moment came when he bumped Andy Reid on the sideline after an Isiah Pacheco fumble.

Oh, how time flies. Valentine’s Day is next week. However, not everyone will be spending their night cuddled up. “Think U The Sh*t (Fart)” rapper Ice Spice had to remind a former flame of this sad fact. In her debut Super Bowl commercial, Ice Spice enjoys a beautiful night out with her newfound love, Starry.

As Ice Spice is showered with love by the beverage company’s digital avatars, her ex rudely interrupts the trio. In the teaser for the ad slot, viewers were left wondering who would make an onscreen cameo. But as the camera pans to the mystery man, the reveal is silly yet disappointing.

The crushed lover is actually one of Starry’s competitors. The actors’ blurred hoodie makes it hard to determine whether that’s Sprite or 7UP. Ice Spice isn’t a stranger to beef in her music, so Starry picked the right ambassador for their war for the No. 1 soda spot.

In a statement, the brand praised their star. “Ice Spice’s charm and charisma are unmatched, making her the perfect fit for the brand’s first Super Bowl commercial,” read the statement.

Ice Spice expressed the same feelings to Billboard. “I’m hyped to star in the first-ever Starry Super Bowl commercial,” she said. “Trust me. starry is a vibe.

The San Francisco 49ers scoring the first touchdown of Super Bowl LVIII wasn’t a surprise, and Christian McCaffrey finding the end zone first wasn’t a particularly big shock, either. How it all happened, though, was pretty wild, as it took until the 4:23 mark of the second quarter for either the Niners or the Kansas City Chiefs to score a touchdown.

And then, there was the play that ended in a touchdown, which was nothing short of wild. Facing a second-and-10 from the Kansas City 21, Brock Purdy dropped back and threw a pass backwards to Jauan Jennings, which is a telltale sign that a double pass is on. It looked for a second like Jennings was going to try and throw it down the field in the face of pressure, but instead, he turned and threw it horizontally to McCaffrey, who had a few blockers ahead of him.

McCaffrey was able to do the rest after he reeled in the football, as NFL Offensive Player of the Year took off and made his way into the end zone untouched.

All of us here at Uproxx Sports would like to congratulate all, like, 17 people in the world who had money on Jauan Jennings throwing a touchdown in this one.

The San Francisco 49ers have two of the best interior linebackers in all of the NFL, as Dre Greenlaw and Fred Warner make up a ferocious tandem that lead the way for the Niners defense.

Those two had six combined tackles in the first 20 minutes of action on Sunday against the Chiefs in Super Bowl LVIII, as their fingerprints were once again all over the place as the Niners held Kansas City scoreless in the early going. After a Niners punt in the second quarter, the defense was ready to take the field when Greenlaw suffered a seemingly catastrophic injury, falling to the ground after taking an awkward step running onto the field.

Greenlaw is always highly energized and you could see that as he bounced around on the sideline before sprinting out to take the field, but somewhere on his first step his Achilles gave out on him. He would go to the blue tent briefly before being carted to the locker room as the Niners saw one of their best defenders leave the biggest game of the year. It did not take long for the Niners to confirm it was an Achilles injury.

That’s a considerable blow to the Niners defense, and hopefully Greenlaw is able to make a full recovery.

The Kansas City Chiefs blew a golden chance to get on the scoreboard in Super Bowl LVIII, and their superstar tight end was not happy about it. During the game’s second quarter, Kansas City got deep into San Francisco 49ers territory thanks to a bomb by Patrick Mahomes that landed in the arms of Mecole Hardman.

It was an absolute dime by Mahomes for a 52-yard gain, and for a Chiefs team that had not gotten onto the scoreboard yet, it was exactly what they needed to generate a little momentum. And then, disaster struck. On the very next play, Isiah Pacheco had the ball poked out by Deommodore Lenoir, and unfortunately for Kansas City, Javon Hargrave fell on it to generate a turnover.

No one was more unhappy about this than Travis Kelce, who was not on the field for the fumble. The Chiefs took Kelce off and had Pacheco run behind Noah Gray, who could not keep Lenoir blocked. The cameras cut Kelce reacting to this by going right up to Andy Reid, screaming at him, and bumping into him.

Jerick McKinnon even had to come over to try and pull his teammate away, as Kelce — who has gotten riled up on the sideline a few times this season — was really hot after this one. Our hunch is that the next time the Chiefs find themselves in this spot, Kelce’s going to stay on the field.

Everyone has their personal reasons for tuning into the Super Bowl LVIII. Of course, the avid football fanatics are locked in to see which franchise takes home the Vince Lombardi trophy. Music lovers couldn’t care less about the game. Most are dialed in for Usher’s highly anticipated Halftime Show performance.

But before that, a few notable musicians warmed the Las Vegas crowd up for its pre-game festivities. Post Malone dropped in for a gentle rendition of “America The Beautiful.” As a proud musical rockstar, Malone shed his rigid persona to bring forth the delicate essence of the hymn.

Of course, Malone added his creative touches to the traditional record, but he met the mark with his acoustic guitar in tow. Viewers at home took to X (formerly Twitter) to offer their glowing reviews of Malone’s performance.

“Ngl, that was actually better than I expected! A solid 7/10,” wrote one viewer.

“Wow, that’s awesome,” penned another.

Before his set, Malone shared that he was fighting back nerves. “I’m very nervous,” he said. “But excited, I’m excited. It’s just fun and super epic to be able to go out there and sing a song so many beautiful artists have sang before on this stage.”

The first trailer for the long-awaited musical, which is based on the hit Broadway production (which itself is based on a novel with characters that originally appeared in a pretty popular movie and book you might have heard of), stars Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba and Ariana Grande as Glinda. The cast also includes Jonathan Bailey, Ethan Slater, Jeff Goldblum, and Michelle Yeoh.

Welcome to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Deadpool.

Deadpool made his MCU debut in the first trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine, which debuted during Super Bowl LVIII. Or at least a tease for it. To see the full-length trailer, you had to head to YouTube. Why? For one thing, 30 seconds isn’t enough time for every fourth-wall-breaking reference, including Deadpool referring to himself as “Marvel Jesus.” Also, the Super Bowl audience isn’t ready for a pegging joke.

Directed by Shawn Levy, Deadpool & Wolverine stars Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, Hugh Jackman as Wolverine for the first time since Logan, and possibly Taylor Swift? She’s not in the trailer, but Marvel has to save some surprises for the actual film.

Back in 2022, Reynolds talked to Collider about Jackman reprising his role as Wolverine. “I don’t believe that I’m responsible for Hugh coming back. I always wanted Hugh to come back,” he explained. “My first meeting with Kevin Feige when Disney bought Fox years ago, maybe three years ago, or three and a half, four years ago, I’m not sure, was about doing a movie with the two of us, a Deadpool Wolverine movie. And that was not possible at the time. And then Hugh just happened to call at that perfect moment and express that he’d be interested in coming back and doing this one more time.

Deadpool & Wolverine opens on July 26.

Taylor Swift has been a fixture in this year’s football coverage. But with the season coming to a close after Super Bowl LVIII, the “You’re Losing Me” singer’s presence on sports TV will come to a close. Several football fanatics are happy to say good riddance. But some are going to miss the Swift fan cam, including Adele.

On February 10, during her latest show, Adele showed her support for Swift becoming a card-carrying member of the Kansas City Chiefs Kingdom. She also took a moment to rip haters a new one for bashing her supporting her beau, Travis Kelce.

“I think I want the Chiefs to win just because Taylor Swift goes for them,” she said. “…and all of you complaining about Taylor being at the game, get a f*cking life.”

Adele isn’t the only one using their platform to shame trolls. Charles Barkley, Stephen A. Smith, David Letterman, and even Chiefs’ quarterback Patrick Mahomes have shown love for Swift’s dedication to the game. Even sports fanatic Drake (who also gets a ton of sh*t from despite fans bases, thanks to the ‘Drake Curse‘) has pulled inspiration from Swift, or at least it appears so when he announced his final bet for Super Bowl LVIII.

Ryan Gosling‘s job isn’t beach anymore. It’s crying to Taylor Swift.

In the latest trailer for The Fall Guy (which you can watch above), actor / “I’m Just Ken” singer Gosling plays a stuntman with a sensitive side. He gets caught in his feelings by Emily Blunt as he’s listening and singing along to “All Too Well,” Swift’s best song. The trailer also features fun stunts, ice baths, alien costumes, and a conspiracy involving a missing movie star.

Here’s the official plot synopsis:

Ryan Gosling stars as Colt Seavers, a battle-scarred stuntman who, having left the business a year earlier to focus on both his physical and mental health, is drafted back into service when the star of a mega-budget studio movie — being directed by his ex, Jody Moreno, played by Emily Blunt — goes missing. While the film’s ruthless producer maneuvers to keep the disappearance of star Tom Ryder a secret from the studio and the media, Colt performs the film’s most outrageous stunts while trying (with limited success) to charm his way back into Jody’s good graces. But as the mystery around the missing star deepens, Colt will find himself ensnared in a sinister, criminal plot that will push him to the edge of a fall more dangerous than any stunt.

Directed by David Leitch, The Fall Guy opens in theaters on May 3.
