Big Baby Trump Spent The Final Days Of His Presidency In A Rage About Comments Made By Snoop Dogg

Snoop Dogg recently claimed that he has “nothing but love and respect” for Donald Trump, but the feeling is not mutual.

Rolling Stone reports that Trump spent the final days of his presidency worrying about what would happen to his beloved Diet Coke button, probably, but also fuming about the rapper. “Well, f*ck him,” Trump said about Snoop, according to a former administration official.

The negativity stemmed from previous comments made by Snoop before he started working with the White House to secure a pardon for Death Row Records co-founder Michael “Harry-O” Harris. “I don’t give a f*ck, I tell ’em straight up, motherfucker: If you like that n*gga, you motherf*ckin’ racist,” he said about Trump and his followers in 2018.

At least one Trump aide quickly started googling for other derogatory, profanity-laden Snoop Dogg quotes that were directed at the 45th U.S. president. The examples were compiled, and some of these officials personally saw to it that Trump was shown how the rapper had felt about him in recent years. This immediately enraged the Republican president, who had apparently forgotten about the depths of Snoop Dogg’s past hatred.

This turned Trump into Anger from Inside Out. He threatened to pull Harris’ name off the pardon list — until he was presented with footage showing Snoop saying nice things about him. “The president said he appreciated what he saw as Snoop Dogg’s sincerity and plaudits, the source with direct knowledge and a former Trump official say. About 24 hours before he was to step down from power, Trump instructed his advisers to re-add Harris’ name to the pardon and commutations list,” according to Rolling Stone.

Snoop has yet to endorse the pettiest man alive for the 2024 election.

‘Lowlife’: Rootin’ Tootin’ Lauren Boebert’s Post-‘Beetlejuice’ District Move Hasn’t Impressed Her New Constituents

Lauren Boebert’s decision to switch voter pools followed her groping-and-vaping Beetlejuice debacle that essentially guaranteed that the tiny lead that she held in 2022 over Democrat Adam Frisch was gone. The far-right congresswoman then declared, not based upon her behavior, that she was moving to the deeper-red 4th congressional district in Colorado, but the reception has been chillier than the snow on the ground.

Boebert believed that the more solidly Republican fourth district would somehow be more receptive to her reelection. She has already blamed the “dark money” of “socialism” and “communism” for her nose dive in 3rd district supporters, but then she switched excuses during a GOP debate to claim that she moved for “a fresh start” for her family after divorce. She has also ignored “carpetbagger” accusations while coming up fifth in her new district on the GOP ticket. Now, the Wall Street Journal has quotes from her new Republican constituents, who are not impressed. A few selections:

– “I don’t appreciate, as a Christian, people saying they’re Christian to get your vote and then turning out to be a lowlife… And now I just kind of think of her as a lowlife.”

– “I will not vote for her. Period. She’s not one of us.”

This article followed about a month after Boebert attempted to make a Beetlejuice joke while addressing her new district, and nobody laughed with her. Well, she should at least count herself lucky enough to have Cameo as a post-Congress option like her pal, George Santos. He’s (allegedly) making some bank at a pretty easy gig.

America Is At War With Itself In A24’s ‘Civil War’ Trailer With Kirsten Dunst

It’s hard to believe it took until 2024 for a movie to be titled Civil War. There’s been Captain America: Civil War and The Civil War, but not simply Civil War until Alex Garland’s new A24 film. Equally surprising is that it’s not about the real Civil War, but a fictional (yet chillingly plausible) dispute between the “Western Forces” led by Texas/California and the rest of the country.

You can watch the new trailer above.

Described as an “adrenaline-fueled thrill ride through a near-future fractured America balanced on the razor’s edge,” Civil War stars Kirsten Dunst as a journalist traveling across the United States to document the crumbling country. The rest of the cast includes Wagner Moura, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Cailee Spaeny (so good in Priscilla), Jesse Plemons in a scene-stealing role, and Nick Offerman as the president.

“Well, in the same way that you could say Ex Machina is sci fi, Devs is a tech thriller, and Men is a horror film, Civil War is a war movie – a contemporary war movie,” Garland told Screen Daily about his new movie. “It was a staggeringly difficult film to shoot.” It’s also A24’s most expensive movie ever.

Civil War opens in theaters on April 12th.

Beyoncé Explains Why She Went For A Short Pixie Haircut In 2013 And Her Reasoning Was Actually Pretty Deep

Earlier this month, Beyoncé announced Cécred, a new line of hair care products. The singer has long been known for her luxurious locks, but a notable moment in her hair history came in August 2013, when she debuted a short pixie cut on Instagram. Now, Beyoncé has explained the motivation behind that look, and it turns out a lot of thought went into it.

In a recent interview with Essence, Beyoncé explained:

“I love how we associate a certain hairstyle with moments in our lives, like that short-hair moment. I remember the day I decided to just cut all my hair off. I didn’t have a particular style in mind. It wasn’t an aesthetic choice, but it was a very big emotional transformation and metamorphosis that I was going through. So much of my identity as a performer has been connected to flowing hair. Cutting my hair off was me rebelling against being this woman that society thinks I’m supposed to be. I was a new mother, and something about the liberation of becoming a mother made me want to just shed all of that. It was a physical representation of me shedding the expectations put upon me. I just wanted it off.

Neal Farinah, my hairstylist and friend, was freaking out because it was really long, really thick and really healthy. I just got the scissors and chopped it off. It was very intentional. And it was what I needed to do. And after that, I became super brave. It was the first step to many more audacious decisions I made in my life and my career that have led to who I am now.”

What Did Billie Eilish Say About TikTokers?

Billie Eilish turned up to the People’s Choice Awards this weekend, where she won TV Performance Of The Year for her role in Swarm. It’s something that happened away from the stage, though, that has had people talking about Eilish the past couple days.

What Did Billie Eilish Say About TikTokers?

A video that has made the rounds on social media sees Eilish talking with Kylie Minogue at the People’s Choice Awards this past weekend. Eilish says in part, “There’s some, like… TikTokers here.” It’s hard to hear all of what Eilish is saying, but according to Unilad, some think the full quote is, “I’m like, there’s some, like… TikTokers here, over there, which is just… I don’t need it.”

That upset some TikTok users, including social media personality Bryce Hall, who said in response, “First off, Billie Eilish, I am so sorry that I didn’t acknowledge your greatness and bow down to you. Second, People’s Choice invited us personally. Everyone who attended People’s Choice and was sitting at those tables was invited. So, hate on them. The most sad thing is, I was a Billie Eilish stan. I stanned you, Billie Eilish. And now I don’t think I can renegade to any of your songs anymore, so thank you for taking away all my content.”

Charli XCX Painfully Reflected On Her Friendship With Late Musician Sophie, Which Inspired An Upcoming Song

Life is precious. Time is a luxury money can’t buy. Both seem like cliches, but it’s best to make the most out of the moments you have and the people you get to share them with. This is a state of mind “Used To Know Me” singer Charli XCX has embraced after the tragic death of Sophie.

In January 2021, the Scottish producer, singer, and multi-instrumentalist’s untimely passing rocked the industry. Musicians and friends like Vince Staples and Charli XCX penned open letters as they mourned Sophie. Three years later, the pain is only just becoming manageable for more. Yesterday (February 19), during an interview with The Face, Charli XCX painfully reflected on their friendship, revealing that it inspired an upcoming song.

“There was a lot of distance between us because I was in awe of [Sophie] and wanted to impress her,” she said. “She believed in me in ways that I didn’t believe in myself. But I felt like I would never be interesting enough to operate in her world outside of the studio, which was the safe space where we could connect and bond over music. I didn’t feel like I was magical enough for this unbelievably magic person. And that makes me ashamed now I don’t have the opportunity to experience that anymore, because she’s gone. I feel ashamed for being a coward. It’s hard to write about. I’m sad for myself that I didn’t experience all this person had to offer.”

Details about the forthcoming record haven’t been revealed just yet. However, Charli XCX’s long-awaited album is due out any day now.

Charli XCX is a Warner Music artist. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.

Universal Music Group and TikTok are tied up in a business dispute over royalty payments. Apparently, there is another beef brewing, but this time, creators are at the helm. During the 2024 People’s Choice Awards, viewers noticed that shiny trophies weren’t the only thing being handed out.

In a viral clip from the ceremony, a confused Billie Eilish is seen whispering something about the event’s attendees. Users online believe her remarks were aimed at shading the TikTok influencers in attendance. Now, the creators are clapping back. On February 19, Bryce Hall uploaded a video clapping back at Eilish to defend his fellow online stars.

“First off, Billie Eilish, I am so sorry that I didn’t acknowledge your greatness and bow down to you,” he said. “Second, People’s Choice invited us [TikTokers] personally.

50 Cent Reportedly Pulled Out The Big Bucks To Cover All ‘Final Lap Tour’ Expenses From His Own Pocket

In 2023, musician-turned-mogul 50 Cent stepped off the television set and back onto the stage. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of his debut album, Get Rich Or Die Tryin’, the “Candy Shop” rapper announced The Final Lap Tour. Across several countries and more than 100 shows, supporters were reminded of 50 Cent’s dominating run in hip-hop.

Each night, the show brought in millions in ticket sales. But a production of that magnitude doesn’t come cheap, and according to Tony Yayo, 50 Cent covered all expenses for The Final Lap Tour out of his own pocket.

During a recent sit-down with VladTV, Yayo revealed that his longtime friend and label head pulled out the big bucks to pay 300 staffers, set costs, and more. “Everybody’s coming there, of course, to work for 50 ’cause 50 cuts the budget,” he said. “But when you think of everything that’s behind it, from production, road management, catering, dancers, f*ckin’ stewardess on the jet, pilots — everybody’s like one big team. And 50 pays for everything… His merch is in the millions. He’s an icon. You can ask anyone. The people that ran the tour from Live Nation, they’ll tell you: ‘Your favorite rapper can’t do what 50 just did.’”
