Kristen Stewart Got Seth Meyers To Admit He Sh*t His Pants While Running In A New ‘Day Drinking’ Episode

Hot of the premiere of her new sapphic film, Love Lies Bleeding, Kristen Stewart celebrated with Seth Meyers. In a special episode of Seth Meyer’s Day Drinking series, Meyers and Stewart paid a visit to Boxers, an iconic gay New York City watering hole.

“I put a lot of work in at bars,” said Stewart to a bartending Meyers, “But I’ve never been paid for it.”

During the segment, the two asked each other the burning questions, one of which, asking Stewart who she’d never work with again. Evidently, she has nothing but love for her past castmates, and there’s no one on her personal blacklist. “I’m not that much of a little b*tch,” she said.

Elsewhere in the interview, Stewart, reading from a card, asked Meyers, “When was the last time you sh*t” your pants?”

Surprisingly, Meyers’ most recent little accident wasn’t too long ago.

“I went for a run during the pandemic…and I didn’t make it,” said Meyers. He continued, sharing how by the time he returned home, his kids were waiting for him at the door.

“I believe I screamed ‘Get them out of there!,” said Meyers. While this story might be embarrassing to admit, it proved rather cathartic for Meyers.

“It was nice that I shared this with you,” said Meyers.

“You’re a good dude for saying that,” said Stewart.

SZA Says She’ll Release The ‘SOS’ Leaks As Part Of The Deluxe, But Is Still Working On ‘LANA’

We have yet another update on SZA‘s upcoming album, LANA. Originally set to be an extended version of SOS, the seemingly mythical LANA has had fans waiting with great fervor. However, it looks like we’re still going to have to wait a a bit longer.

Earlier this week, the “Snooze” hitmaker said that as a result of fans leaking songs from LANA, she would be starting the project over. But tonight (March 26), it appears she’s had a change of heart.

SZA took to Twitter to explain to fans that she will, in fact, give the leaked material a formal release.

“Will be dropping the leaks and outtakes from SOS as promised as the deluxe asap,” SZA said. “Lana deserves more time and music no one’s ever heard before. seems fair. Bless.”

She continued, saying that keeping up with the leaks was very taxing on her, and decided that it was easier to simply share the material as a gift with fans, and for LANA to evolve as its own body of work.

“I decided w all the leaks and me not knowing what someone has or doesn’t have it’s too complicated so I should jus consolidate the leaks and the outtakes and drop that as to not prolong the process and then focus on my next project as a win win for everybody,” she said.

Now, as for a release date, we’ll believe it when we see it.

Diddy’s Attorney Called The Raids Of His Homes ‘A Gross Overuse Of Military-Level Force’

Following the raid of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Los Angeles and Miami homes this past Monday (March 26), Combs’ team has broken their silence. Today (March 27), Combs’ attorney Aaron Dyer has issued a statement to HipHopDX, maintaining Combs’ innocent.

In the statement, Dyer called the raids “a gross overuse of military-level force” and decried how his children and employees were interrograted and handcuffed.

“This unprecedented ambush – paired with an advanced, coordinated media presence – leads to a premature rush to judgment of Mr. Combs and is nothing more than a witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits,” said Dyer.

Though Combs himself was not arrested, a man named Brendan Paul who was alleged in a suit to be Combs’ “drug mule,” was taken into custody for possession of marijuana and cocaine. At the time of writing, it is unclear if the arrest was in relation to Combs.

You can read Dyer’s full statement below.

“Yesterday, there was a gross overuse of military-level force as search warrants were executed at Mr. Combs’ residences. There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated. Mr. Combs was never detained but spoke to and cooperated with authorities. Despite media speculation, neither Mr. Combs nor any of his family members have been arrested nor has their ability to travel been restricted in any way.

This unprecedented ambush – paired with an advanced, coordinated media presence – leads to a premature rush to judgment of Mr. Combs and is nothing more than a witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits. There has been no finding of criminal or civil liability with any of these allegations. Mr. Combs is innocent and will continue to fight every single day to clear his name.”

Bryson Tiller Wants To Take A Hiatus From Music And Focus On His Other Passion, Video Game Design

Bryson Tiller is known to take long breaks between albums. But after his upcoming self-titled fourth studio album drops next month, he may take a bit longer. In an interview with Complex, Tiller revealed he plans to take a hiatus from music for a while to pursue his passion — video game design.

“This is probably gonna be my last one for a minute,” said Tiller of the upcoming album. ““I just wanna take a hiatus ’cause my number one passion is video games. I’ve been designing a game for the past three years. I’ve been looking into internships with different companies.”

But not to worry, fans. Tiller says he still plans to meet his fans and visit their cities for the time being. However, following tour, he plans to prioritize his family.

“I want to focus on, number one is getting closer to my daughters,” said Tiller. “My oldest daughter is 10 years old now. I’m tired of telling her I gotta work or I gotta be in the studio and then we can hang out.”

Thankfully, this pivot will allow Tiller to spend time with his loved ones, as he’ll be able to work from anywhere.

“The thing about game design, it’s super cool ’cause I can do it from anywhere. I could be next to her while she’s gaming. It’s just what I love to do and it doesn’t feel like work.”

Here are the 13 most common lies people have heard from their employers

The massive changes to the American workplace caused by the COVID-19 pandemic invited many to reconsider their professional lives. This reevaluation has led people to push for improved work-life balance, and many now are looking for work to provide a greater sense of meaning and purpose.

When the world returned to work after COVID, many believed they deserved to be treated better by their employers. This resulted in many taking a break from the workforce or changing professions altogether. It also helped usher in a more comfortable culture for calling out companies that don’t treat their employees respectfully.

Recently, a group of thousands came together on Reddit to expose the common mistruths that people often hear at the workplace. It all started when a Redditor named PretenstoKnow asked: “What’s the most common lie employers tell their employees?” And over 2,600 people responded.

People shared great examples of office developments that may signal a company being sold or future layoffs. They also exposed how employers may manipulate employees to work more hours or do a job that isn’t theirs by dangling a promotion in front of them. While some took the thread as the opportunity to complain about American corporate culture, the post was an excellent way for people to educate each other about common workplace pitfalls they may not know about.

Here are 13 of the most common lies that employers tell their employees.

1. Working 2 jobs

“If you just do this extra work until the other position is filled, you will be rewarded later.” — MightyAtom13

“Any form of delayed comp should be treated as a lie.” — Mirbatdon

2. There’s nothing to see here

“You may have heard some rumors that [insert bad thing here] is happening, but I’m here today to tell you that this isn’t the case.” — UnfinishedThings

“Nothing is ever true until the company officially denies it.” — Big-Problem7372

3. Don’t talk money

“You aren’t allowed to discuss your pay/salary.” — Meestrdg

“Any company that tells you not to discuss pay, you should immediately start discussing pay with as many people as you can find. Hell, put your job title (or something similar) on a post-it note with your pay in the employee bathroom that the managers never use.” — BlackMoons

4. The loyalty lie

“That you owe them loyalty. You don’t. You are a number in SAP that costs money. Once you are replaceable or your skill set is no longer required, you’re done. No matter your situation in life.” — JustAnotherS**tposter.

“I’ve seen enough layoffs to know that they would cut me without a second thought if it benefited them. I feel obligated to perform my job in good faith, but I’m taking my vacation days, I’m taking my sick days if I need them, and if I come across a clearly better job offer, I’m taking that too.” — Provocotive_Bear

5. You’re not family

“Honestly, if an employer invokes families or sports teams analogies, you had better avoid them.” — A CaffeinatedWandress

“Yes! We are like family until we say you can’t take a day off to see your biological family.” — 77 Tassells

6. Work-life balance

“On rare occasions, this can be true. It most likely isn’t coming from owners or execs though. It’s usually middle managers who actually give a sh** and fight their nonsense constantly.” — The_Bitter_Bear

“My last boss tried to emphasize this and then come review time I was criticized for not putting in ‘extra’ time to help the team (was told not to work past 5 pm and family came first).” — Zoap3256

7. Flexible hours

“This one is so true. When most job postings say “flexible hours,” it usually means that they need you to be flexible to work nights and weekends even if you need them off.” — 1991195

8. Healthcare changes

“We’re changing healthcare providers in order to benefit you, our valued employees .” — Kismet237

9. Your raise is right around the corner

“The next job/promotion will pay you more. We are planning to expand.” — vArrowhead

“The future is bright. We can’t give you that raise now but Just hang in there and your hard work will pay off.” — Friend-of-thee-court

10. Anonymous feedback

“Your anonymous employee feedback surveys are 100% not anonymous.” — SarenTenet914

“When I first started taking employee feedback surveys, it would lead off with questions if you were male or female, what department you worked in, how long you’ve been in the department, and how long you’ve been in the company to ‘validate’ you as being an employee and to serve up the right set of questions. I realized how very easy it was to track people back based on how those questions were answered.” — wetwater

11. Unlimted vacation days

“Unlimited vacation days really means minimal vacation days.” — IlIIlIIIlIl

“We went unlimited. I track my use on a spreadsheet that is in line with legacy policy before the change. So, if questioned, I can produce documentation I, in fact, have not abused it. That hasn’t come up. But just in case.” — Sharpedoweek

12. Not selling the company

“Once you hear the rumors, there is a 100% chance it is going to happen.” — Andos4

13. We’re using the latest tech

“In software jobs, the most common lie is ‘We are using the latest tech’ or ‘We are upgrading to the latest tech right now!'” — Propostor

“My job is to manage the tech, cloud, and software strategy, and this is pretty much never true. Aside from random startups playing with massive startup capital from angel investors, no established company works with the latest technology, because it carries too much risk and too many unknowns. No actual technical manager will claim otherwise. Only non-technical people like executives, sales, marketing, and HR make ridiculous claims like that.” — Maitreg

Amanda Seales breaks down the fascinating history behind the DAP handshake

We’ve all seen people do it. Anywhere from basketball players on television to kids meeting up at the skating rink. Even former president Barack Obama when greeting a mixed group of men gave “DAP” to the Black men in the group, yet switched to a firm handshake when greeting the other men.

It was almost like watching the president code switch, but with body language, in a move that many Black Americans recognize as a gesture of acceptance and comradery. But did you know that there’s an actual history behind the DAP that has nothing to do with looking cool? Social justice educator and actress, Amanda Seales, recently re-shared a clip from “The Real” where she was diving into the history of the handshake.

Seales, who has a master’s degree in African American Studies from Columbia University, was also admittedly surprised when she learned there was a deeper meaning to the gesture.

On the show Seales explains that the DAP originated in the 60s during the Vietnam War between Black soldiers. “Young African Americans were being sent into combat and the DAP was about unity and survival. There were cases of Black soldiers reportedly being shot by white soldiers during combat and so it was a physical act of solidarity,” Seales reads. “It was used to convey their commitment to looking after one another.”

The actress says that DAP is an acronym for dignity and pride, but was once banned in the military because people thought it was a secret black power sign. It wasn’t. The handshake was so helpful in making Black soldiers feel safe, DAP Therapy was created to help with PTSD symptoms.

The entire history of the DAP gives it so much more meaning. It’s quite fascinating how things from the past continue to evolve and grow with society. While the meaning of the DAP may have been lost, the gesture itself is still alive and well.

Neuroscientist reveals perfect amount of time to spend on social media for your mental health

There are pretty clear cut guidelines on how much screen time kids should have, but for adults…not so much. And perhaps it’s this lack of clarity that leaves people to go on full blown digital detoxes or get off social media entirely.

And while there is certainly a case to be made for that decision, for many of us, that isn’t quite feasible—especially in certain lines of work.

Luckily, according to neuroscientist Rachelle Summers, there is a way we can still be on social media, without being subjected to its negative side effects.

In a video posted to her TikTok and Instagram, Summers first cited a study which found that limiting social media use to 30 minutes per day lead to a “significant improvement in well-being” among participants.

Over several weeks, the participants felt less loneliness, depression, anxiety and FOMO—common symptoms of social media overuse.

Of course, 30 minutes might seem like an extremely short amount of time to be on social media (never mind if you’re actually posting something). In fact, according to one polling website, average person spends a little over 2 hours each day on social media, which is also drastically low in comparison to some of the comments to Summer’s video.

“Yikes. I’ve been doing 30 minutes every half an hour,” one person wrote.

Another added, “I’m on Instagram around 25 hours a week. Guess that’s a critical amount.”

Summers did however add that the study only measured the effects of limiting social media to 30 minutes, and noted that similar benefits could be found at a little more usage time.

So then, what if we want to spend more than a measly 30 minutes and still see benefits? Summers proposes going through this checklist of questions:

-Establish your baseline. How much time are you currently spending on social media?

-Are you sleeping poorly?

-How’s your attention span? Are you finding it difficult to concentrate on a task?

-How is your Mood? Are you experiencing any anxiety or depression?

-Are you noticing physical discomfort like eye strain or headaches?

-What does your engagement look like? Are you mostly looking at content that puts you in a negative headspace?

-Have you stopped or reduced how much time you’re investing in offline relationships and/or hobbies?

If you answered yes to two or more of these questions, Summers suggests going back to your original baseline and reducing social media consumption by 20% . Then check again in two weeks and continue reducing by 20% until you’ve only got one yes. Or, better yet, zero.

I don’t know about you, but I answered yes to nearly all of these…along with tons of viewers.

“Brain fog is so frustrating and uncomfortable,” one person wrote.

“I spend a lot of time on subreddits that are laden with rage bait,” admitted another.

We all know we need to limit our social media use. But we don’t necessarily have a way of measuring how much we need to cut back. And while a weeklong vacation to a spot with zero internet service might be ideal, some real world, everyday tools can be just as helpful. And perhaps even more sustainable.

And while you’re using that daily allowance of social media, be sure to follow Summers on TikTok and Instagram for more cool tips.

Been Stellar Looks For The Bigger Picture In Their Video For ‘All In One’

Been Stellar has a promising debut album on their hands. Today (March 26), the New York City indie band has shared “All In One,” the latest single from their upcoming album, Scream From New York, NY.

The song describes the day-to-day hustle and bustle of the tedious nine-to-five base, and searching for meaning through it all.

“In many ways this song and its lyrics are at the album’s heart,” said the band in a statement. “I think it’s the culmination of a point we’ve been trying to make for years. The lyrics grapple with processing the mundane daily tasks we all carry out, and how they connect to understanding our lives in a larger sense. So much of life in a condensed city like New York is spent in a very small box- we wanted the video to portray the madness that comes from that experience. The themes of solipsism and existential uncertainty we brought up on our EP feel tied up with this song. The music feels like a creative conclusion for us as well— like the kind of song we’ve been working towards for years. We finished it in the final weeks leading up to recording and couldn’t be more proud of how it came out.”

The video features all of the band’s members inside of an abandoned house, still doing everyday tasks, like working, sitting at the typewriter to write, and searching for a record to provide comfort throughout the day.

Shaq Makes The Case For Shai Gilgeous-Alexander To Win MVP: ‘He’s The Baddest Player In The Game’

shai gilgeous-alexander

The Oklahoma City Thunder are in a fight with the Denver Nuggets and the Minnesota Timberwolves for the 1-seed in the Western Conference, and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is the biggest reason why. Long viewed as one of the most exciting young talents in the NBA, Gilgeous-Alexander has been nothing short of magnificent this year, as the two-time All-Star guard has been crucial for the 49-21 Thunder.

It’s led to Gilgeous-Alexander getting some MVP love, although the overwhelming belief is that Nikola Jokic will take the award home for the third time in his career. Apparently, Shaquille O’Neal agrees with this, as he believes the young Thunder star should be running away with the award this year.

“The MVP is SGA, period,” Shaq said. “I saw something today, he’s one of the few guys that have 50 30-point games in a season. And he meets my criteria and everybody else’s. He’s the baddest player in the game, and their team is 49-21, and Denver is 51-21. So, you can’t give it to the Joker.”

After getting asked by Candace Parker if this comes from a place of expecting Jokic to put up the kinds of numbers that he has this year, Shaq made clear it does not.

“Nobody’s doing more than SGA,” he said.

On the year, Gilgeous-Alexander is averaging 30.5 points, 5.3 assists, 5.6 rebounds, and 2.1 steals in 34.4 minutes per game.
