After this year’s Oscar ceremony and his rowdy rendition of “I’m Just Ken,” Ryan Gosling symbolically killed his Barbie alter-ego and is ready to move on to bigger and better things, like falling off of various vehicles in The Fall Guyalongside fellow Oscar nominee Emily Blunt.
In the film, Gosling plays Colt Seavers, a stuntman who loves to be tossed around like one of those crash test dummies. In reality, Gosling performed some of his own stunts, but the real work came from Logan Holladay, who just broke a world record.
This week, Gosling and director (and former stuntman) David Leitch presented Holladay with the Guinness World Record Certificate for most cannon rolls in a car in the upcoming action flick. What’s a cannon roll, you might ask? It’s something you will probably never be able to do in your life, so don’t even try.
The press release explains, “The cannon roll, a classic stunt dating back to the early days of cinema, involves fitting a cannon-like apparatus beneath a car that shoots toward the ground. As the vehicle reaches a designated speed, the mechanism triggers and propels the car into a series of rolls. Holladay executed the stunt behind the wheel of a modified Jeep Grand Cherokee fitted with an external fiberglass body.” No matter how much you might want to, please don’t try that at home.
The record was previously held by Adam Kirley, who achieved seven cannon rolls for 2006’s Casino Royale. This is exactly why Cillian Murphy has no interest in such a film.
With a new season just around the corner, STARZ announced today that the fourth season of Power Book II: Ghost will be the series’ last season. The epic series was the first spin-off of the original Power series to be released as its first season debuted back in the fall of 2020. As with all things related to Power, the final season of Ghost won’t end without a splash. STARZ also revealed that the fourth season will be split into two parts with the first part debuting on Friday, June 7 and the second kicking off on Friday, September 6.
“This explosive season of ‘Ghost’ is a fitting crescendo in a decade of an immensely popular franchise – fans will not be disappointed,” said Kathryn Busby, President of Programming for STARZ. “While this marks the conclusion of one chapter, our commitment to the Power universe endures with more compelling storytelling on the horizon.”
The news about Power Book II: Ghost comes just a day after 50 Cent and STARZ announced plans for a new Power prequel series titled Origins. The series will dive into the origin story of fan-favorite Power characters James “Ghost” St. Patrick (played by Omari Hardwick) and Tommy Egan (played by Joseph Sikora).
You can watch a teaser trailer for Power Book II: Ghost in the video above and scroll down to read the official synopsis for season four.
In light of Season Three’s explosive finale, it’s Tariq St. Patrick and Brayden Weston against the world. With new alliances formed in each faction, Tariq and Brayden must find a way back into the game — and a way to insulate themselves from ever being put in the same situation again. But when Brayden starts flirting with a new, reckless lifestyle, Tariq wonders if there really is room for two at the top.
Monet may have finally met her maker, but she has no idea who’s behind it. Davis, suspended and pending disbarment in the wake of his brother’s death, fully embraces the criminal side of his enterprise and finds himself working for both sides — his loyalty dependent on whichever will benefit him most. Faced with the reality that life can end in just a few ways, Effie buckles down on getting out and securing a legit future at Stanford.
After last season’s betrayal, Diana and Dru question their roles in the game and the family business, while Cane sees an opportunity to level up when he starts working for Noma. As Noma fights to establish her business in the States, she also tries to keep a close eye on her bratty daughter, Anya, who is now on Tariq and Brayden’s radar. With the fate of his future in the game and his family at the forefront, Tariq must reconcile his past to rise to the top of the food chain and become who he needs to be to protect those he loves most.
‘Power Book II: Ghost’ season four, part one premieres on June 7. Part two debuts on September 6.
One of the weirder beefs we’ve seen between a media person and a professional athlete in the last few months is between Shaquille O’Neal and First Take personality Chris “Mad Dog” Russo. The long and the short of it is that Russo went onto TV and said that Shaq was the fifth-best center in NBA history, which made the big fella pretty upset.
Anyway, fast forward to Thursday and Russo decided to prod Shaq again. The Denver Nuggets came up during the morning’s episode of First Take, and while discussing the team, Russo dropped a scorcher: In his eyes, Nikola Jokic is already a better all-time player than Shaq, Moses Malone, and Hakeem Olajuwon.
“Jokic might be … the greatest center in the history of the NBA … at the end of his career. He’s better than Shaq, I’ll tell you that right now.” pic.twitter.com/gwf5lA9Z5d
“Jokic might be, might be, at the end of the day, the greatest center in the history of the NBA,” Russo said. “And that’s saying a lot, he might be at the end of his career. He’s that good. He’s better than Shaq, I’ll tell you that right now. Better than Shaq. Oh, he is. And not just Shaq! He’s better than Malone, Olajuwon, he does everything. He passes, he dribbles, he doesn’t have to dominate. He is great, Jokic is great.”
Both Domonique Foxworth and Brian Windhorst were blown away by this take, while Foxworth did what he could to get the conversation back on track after this aside. Anyway, Shaq has made clear on numerous occasions that he really loves Jokic, so even beyond how he’d respond to Russo, I sure would love to hear his thoughts on this one.
Don Toliver is deep into the rollout of his fourth studio albumHardstone, which is shaping up to be one of his most personal projects yet. In the new video for “Deep In The Water” he released today, Toliver shares the first glimpse of his and Kali Uchis‘ son after they announced they were expecting in January.
In the video, which maintains the “motorcycle gang” aesthetic Toliver has chosen to represent his current creative direction, the Houston rapper rides his chopper down a desert highway under a chill blue filter. After sharing a badass new clip of Goggins’ character The Ghoul coming to collect a bounty, Goggins joked around with Meyers about how much he appreciates having a nose after filming the first season. According to Goggins, he was ready to sign onto the video game adaptation immediately, without even seeing a script, until showrunner Jonathan Nolan dropped the nose bomb.
“Two minutes into the Zoom call I was having with Jonathan Nolan and I said, ‘I’m in,’” Goggins recalled. “He said, ‘Don’t you wanna read a script?’ I said, ‘Yeah, sure, whatever.’ He said, ‘Don’t you wanna know what you’re playing, what the character is?’ I said, ‘Yeah, ok, go ahead. Tell me.’ And he said, ‘He’s 200 years old. He’s a bounty hunter that has been roaming a post-apocalyptic wasteland and he has no nose.’”
After some laughter from the audience and Meyers, Goggins admitted that detail gave him pause.
“I said, ‘Uh, could you send me those scripts? I might maybe get back to you, I dunno,’” Goggins said. Obviously, he signed onto the project, and he even had a hand in developing The Ghoul’s look.
“We wanted him to be like attractive. We wanted the audience to kind of lean into his look and not be kind of repulsed by him,” Goggins told Meyers. “So I said, ‘Could you do Kris Kristofferson if he were 250 years old and had been walking the wasteland and had been drinking all night?’”
Clearly, the character design worked as fans went wild over Goggins after the most recent trailer dropped. However, the actor did admit to having second thoughts about the project after putting on the makeup.
“It was five hours in the chair the first time. It was long,” Goggins said, but always the professional, he powered through.
Fallout drops its entire first season April 11 on Prime Video.

Spotify has been trying to add different features to the streaming platform over the past few months, including an AI DJ recommendation option, new aspects to Spotify Wrapped, and more. As another of the newest additions, they have also made it so users can now watch music videos from their favorite artists.
Here’s what to know about how to view the music videos on Spotify.
How To Watch Music Videos On Spotify
As of right now, the music video feature for Spotify is still in beta testing, according to TechCrunch. As an example photo that was provided by Spotify, they showed Asake as one of the artists who would have a music video available.
To access the music videos, users should click a “Switch To Video” button on a song that has the option. By clicking the button, it will restart whatever song the user was listening to from the beginning.
How it works:
Supported tracks have a toggle button on the Now Playing screen.
→ Switch to Video → Switch to Audio
Tapping it restarts the song in the new mode.

This is currently available to those who have Spotify Premium and is accessible in eleven countries. “For this beta rollout, we chose these markets based on a number of criteria including market size and the availability of local content support… Stay tuned as we hope to expand the catalog of music videos and increase availability to more countries,” Spotify’s VP Global Head of Consumer Experience Sten Garmark shared, per the outlet.
