A 6-year-old asks Neil DeGrasse Tyson an adorable question. He gives her an awesome answer.

I recently spent some time with Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson. He’s known not only for breaking down stereotypes about what kinds of people go into science, but he has actively stood up and spoken against those who would close its doors, especially to young women.

So when Neil was asked this question by a little girl during a public speech, he gave one of the best answers I’ve ever heard. It may drive some parents crazy, but it also might just help change the world.

Paige Bueckers Gave A Great Answer On Why She Hopes She’s Not The Focal Point Of Women’s College Hoops Next Year

The Women’s Final Four will take center stage on Friday night in Cleveland, where undefeated South Carolina will take on NC State and Iowa will face UConn with a berth in the national title game on the line.

The game between the Hawkeyes and Huskies figures to draw a ton of eyeballs, as two of the biggest stars in the sport will square off. Iowa’s Caitlin Clark has been the lead story in college basketball (men’s or women’s) this year, and was a big reason the Iowa-LSU rematch in the Elite 8 drew the biggest TV audience of any women’s college game in history. On the other side, UConn’s Paige Bueckers is finally back healthy and looks the part of the superstar so many projected her as coming into the college game, taking over down the stretch against USC to push the Huskies into the Final Four.

While Clark is headed to the WNBA in two weeks, Bueckers will be back for another season in Storrs next fall, and figures to draw plenty of attention. However, as she explained when asked about stepping into the spotlight next year with Clark gone, Bueckers doesn’t want there to be a singular star in women’s college basketball, pointing out that the sport would be much better off if media coverage spread the love to all the incredible players and teams across the country.

Bueckers has always had an incredible amount of perspective for someone her age on these kinds of topics — she used her ESPY’s speech after her freshman year to call out how Black players in women’s basketball aren’t covered or lauded in the same way. In this case, she wants to widen the spotlight and use the fact that she will, undoubtedly, get a ton of attention to push that to others and ensure that the game as a whole gets the shine it deserves, not just her. That’s not something a lot of players would be willing to do, and hopefully we as the media can heed her advice and broaden the coverage of the women’s game beyond just a name or two.

A ‘Sons Of Anarchy’ Fan Favorite Will Be In Kurt Sutter’s Upcoming Netflix Show

SOA Cast
FX

Between Kevin Costner, Jon Hamm and maybe Matthew McConaughey, it seems like everyone is trying to get into Westerns these days. Just think of it as Beyonce’s never-ending sphere of influence. The next wave of Western-inspired programming includes Kurt Sutter’s upcoming Netflix series The Abandons, which is rounding out its impressive cast.

Ryan Hurst and his giant beard has joined the cast of The Abandons. He’s best known for playing Opie in Sons of Anarchy, created by Sutter (aww SAMCRO reunion), but he also had a stint on The Walking Dead as Beta, the scary-looking dude who wore walker skin on his face. It’s hard to forget about him.

The Abandons tells the story of a collection of families who live on the outskirts of society in 1800s Oregon. According to Netflix, “These lost souls band together to fight corrupt forces and do anything they can to save their land. The Western series will explore the jagged line between survival and law, the consequences of violence, and the corrosive power of secrets as this makeshift family battles to keep what’s theirs.”

The cast also includes Gillian Anderson, Lena Hadley, Michael Greyeyes, Toby Hemingway, Dana Silvers, Nick Robinson, Lucas Till, and Patton Oswalt.

Ava Max’s ‘My Oh My’ Video Shows Her Dancing All Over The Place, Including Atop A Table In A Bar

Last week, Major League Baseball used former Uproxx cover star Ava Max’s “My Oh My” to soundtrack an Instagram Reel hyping up Opening Day. The Reel simultaneously built anticipation for “My Oh My,” which Max finally released today (April 4) alongside a dance-heavy video directed by Hunter Moreno.

“So proud to announce ‘My Oh My’ is out now,” Max wrote on Instagram. “I have been working on this record for the last 6 months and I couldn’t be more excited for it to finally be yours. The third era begins now.”

“I’m like, my oh my,” Max sings in the upbeat dance-pop song. “Baby, this my kind of night / Flashing lights up on my body Feels like ’90s paparazzi / I’m like, my oh my / Baby, this my kind of night / Strangers dancing all around me / Feels like straight out of a movie.”

Right on cue, several dancers appear all around Max for a 10-second group choreography. Then, Max casually applies more lip gloss while seemingly unbothered by relentless paparazzi, blinding camera flashes, and starstruck fans. Later, she’s dancing even more freely on a table in a dimly lit bar — clearly very aware of how her presence affects people and disinterested in dimming her star for anyone.

Diamonds & Dancefloors, Max’s sophomore studio album, was released in January 2023. She also contributed “Choose Your Fighter” to the Grammy-winning Barbie: The Album.

Last November, Max posted on X (formerly Twitter) that she was “cookin’ in the studio,” also noting, “I promise new music is being made and some is already done [shushing emoji] new chapter awaits.”

Watch the “My Oh My” video above.

Her son came out. She called a gay bar for advice. The delightful conversation went viral.

Kara Coley, a bartender at Sipps in Gulfport, Mississippi, got an unusual phone call on the job last week.

“Good evening,” Coley answered. “Thank you for calling Sipps!”

A woman on the other end of the line asked, “Is this a gay bar?”

Sipps welcomes everyone, Coley explained to her, but indeed attracts a mostly LGBTQ crowd.

“Can I ask you a question?” the caller followed up. “Are you gay?”

“Yes, ma’am,” Coley said.

Then things got interesting.

“What was the one thing you wanted from your parents when you came out?” the woman continued.

Coley, who’s tended bar for about 17 years, was a little caught off guard. In all her years of experience fielding requests and helping others working in the service industry, she’d never received a question like that.

“My son just came out to me,” the woman continued on the other end of the line. “And I don’t want to say anything that may mess him up in the head.”

Coley thought for a moment. Then she asked the woman if she accepted her son for who he is.

The woman answered “yes.”

“You should definitely let him know that you love and accept him!” Coley said. “I think everything will be OK from there!”

The woman thanked Coley for her input and they parted ways.

Later that night, in the early hours of Jan. 19, Coley decided to post the entire interaction to her Facebook page, noting how “random” it all had been.

In the days following, her post went viral, amassing over 1,500 likes and hundreds of shares.

So I got the most random phone call at the bar tonight! 😀Me:Good evening Thankyou for calling Sipps!Lady on phone: Is…
Posted by Kara Coley on Friday, January 19, 2018

The post’s comment section soon filled with love and gratitude for Coley’s simple but endearing answer.

“My heart is truly touched by this,” one Facebook user wrote. “A parent wanting to support correctly, and a beautiful response. This is progress. This is love and acceptance in the rawest form.”

“Kara, this old granny lesbian is so grateful for you, and for a parent that thought outside the box to get advice!” another user chimed in. “Keep being you!”

“[The response] has been amazing,” Coley writes. She believes her post struck a chord with friends and strangers alike because people are looking for encouraging news: “Every day people wake up and there’s so much negativity in the world — people just need a breath of fresh air!”

For parents to an LGBTQ child, it’s still vital to understand the facts too, Coley noted: “Educate yourself [on LGBTQ issues] and do a little research.”

Ideally, parents should have access to better resources than their local gay bar when it comes to getting help with LGBTQ parenting. At the end of the day, though, the best thing you can do as a parent is make sure your kid understands you’re there through thick and thin.

“Just knowing you have someone in your corner takes a little weight off your shoulders,” Coley wrote.

Avocado farmer explains secret why you can’t grow Hass avocado trees from Hass seeds

Have you ever seen anyone put an avocado pit in water to grow an avocado tree? I’ve seen lots of people try, but only a few succeed. My mom has a tiny avocado tree growing in her living room that she managed to grow from the pit of a Hass avocado she ate. It’s small but thriving, and I’ve often wondered if it will ever grow actual avocados.

As it turns out, it could—but they won’t be Hass avocados.

Wait, huh?

In a wow-that’s-an-interesting-factoid-I-never-knew-before video, an avocado tree grower explains in this YouTube video why a Hass avocado seed doesn’t grow into a Hass avocado tree. Avocados, apparently, are not “true to seed” plants, meaning if you plant the seed, you’ll end up with a different variety of the fruit the seed came from. Apples are the same—if you plant a Fuji apple seed, you will not get a Fuji apple tree. In fact, chances are really, really high that you’ll get an avocado or an apple that tastes terrible if you try to grow it from a seed of an existing fruit.

The guy from Sleepy Lizard Avocado Farm explains how it all works using an analogy with candy flavors. This is the genetics lesson we all needed in school when we were trying to figure out Punnett squares, and he explains it all so clearly.

Incredible how nature works, and so amazing what human beings have been able to figure out over millennia of agricultural advancements.

So how do you get a Hass avocado tree if you can’t plant a Hass avocado seed to grow it? As he explains in the video, you can plant the pit and start to grow the tree, but if you want Hass avocados you have to graft a branch of a Hass avocado tree onto the stem of the tree you’re growing.

Or, you can just buy a baby Hass avocado tree that’s already been grafted, which is probably a heck of a lot easier than figuring out how to graft one yourself.

So go ahead and sprout that seed in water and grow yourself a pretty avocado plant if you’d like. Just don’t expect any yummy avocados from it, since your chances are about 1 in 10,000 that it’ll happen.

Thanks for the fascinating lesson, avocado guy!

How do you end a conversation with someone who won’t stop talking? 19 people share their tricks.

There are some people who live under the illusion that everything they say is deeply interesting and have no problem wasting your time by rambling on and on without a sign of stopping. They’re the relative, neighbor or co-worker who can’t take a hint that the conversation is over.

Of all these people, the co-worker who can’t stop talking may be the most challenging because you see them every day in a professional setting that requires politeness.

There are many reasons that some people talk excessively. Therapist F. Diane Barth writes in Psychology Today that some people talk excessively because they don’t have the ability to process complex auditory signals, so they ramble on without recognizing the subtle cues others are sending.

It may also be a case of someone who thinks they’re the most interesting person in the conversation.

For others, it’s a symptom of a disorder. Michelle C. Brooten-Brooks, a licensed marriage and family therapist, writes that excessive talking can also be a symptom of, among other things, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder or anxiety.

“Anxiety can cause someone to speak excessively,” Brooten-Brooks writes at Very Well Health. “While many with social anxiety may avoid social interactions, some may inadvertently talk excessively when in social situations out of nervousness and anxiety.”

So what do we do when we’re stuck in a situation where someone just keeps talking? A Reddit user by the name of Spritti33 asked for some advice about how to “politely end a conversation with a person who won’t stop talking” and received some very practical and funny responses from members of the online forum.

A lot of folks pointed out that it’s not impolite to walk away from a person who is incessantly talking because they are being rude by disrespecting your time. Others shared how, in some cultures, there are ways of shutting down a conversation while allowing both parties to save face.

Here are 19 of the best responses to Spritti33’s question, “How does someone politely end a conversation with a person who won’t stop talking?”

1.

“In Flanders we have a word for it, ‘bon,’ and then you say something ‘I have work to do,’ ‘It’s time to go home,’ ‘It’s time to get drinks.’ And people realize the other person wants to leave without being mean,” — ISuckAtRacingGames

2.

In Ireland we do like a little clap/slap our thigh/clap the person’s shoulder and say ‘Right! Shur look, I’ll let you go…’ as if we’re being polite and letting the other person off the hook, but actually, it’s like get me the fuck out of here haha!” —funky_mugs

3.

“If they keep talking over polite cues, I have found there really isn’t a polite way to exit the conversation,” — Binder_Grinder

4.

“This is so true. People that do this don’t care whether you’re into the conversation or not, they’re talking simply because they want to. I’ve gotten better at just interjecting (even mid-sentence if I’ve already tried everything else) with, ‘I’m sorry, I have to go. (start walking away at this point) It was nice talking to you.’ Don’t give any excuses or reasons for leaving, just do it otherwise they’ll try to talk about your reasons.” — PSSaalamader

5.

“As a teacher, I have learned how to interrupt people who do not leave any pauses when they’re speaking: start nodding and verbally agreeing with them, ‘Uh huh, uh huh, uh huh…’ You can’t interrupt these people, but you can start agreeing while they speak, then raise your voice and say, ‘Yeah, wow, excuse me but I must go,'”
— Janicegirlbomb2

6.

“Remember that it is them who is being impolite by talking incessantly about things of no interest to their audience,” — Orp4mmws99

7.

“Source: am a therapist. What you do is recap their last story and in the same breath add a goodbye.

I.e. ‘Sounds like you guys found a bunch of great deals at the mall, that’s awesome! Thanks for meeting with me, you’ll have to tell me more next time we run into each other. It was great to catch up!'” — pikcles-for-fingers

8.

“Just start coughing these days it’ll clear a whole room in seconds,” — Sinisterpigeon

9.

“People who are like this expect folks to just walk away from them while they are talking because that’s the only way the conversation ends. It’s not rude to them, it’s normal. So, it’s entirely okay to say, ‘all right this has been great, see you later,’ and then just walk away smiling,” — Underlord_Fox

10.

“If you can practice this, start to train one of your eyeballs to slowly drift off whilst the other eye remains locked on theirs. That should do the trick,” — The-Zesty-Man

11.

“At 62, I just walk away. My bullshit filter has disappeared,” — Negative_Increase

12.

“You gotta realize that everyone else they talk to just walks away. They’re used to that. They think a conversation is you just talk at someone til they walk away. It’s not weird to them,” — DelsmagicFishies

13.

“I don’t know why some people are so afraid of this. It is not rude. You don’t need to lie. ‘We can speak more other time. Goodbye,’ is fine,” — Kooky-Housing3049

14.

“On a more serious note, I typically do an ‘oh shit’ type of face like I’ve just remembered I had something important scheduled. I say ‘Sorry, what time is it? check the time Ah crap, I hate to cut you off but if I don’t head out now I’m going to be late for ____.’ Then I scurry away like I’m really in a rush. If you’re in a situation where you can’t straight up leave, I swap ‘gotta head out’ for ‘I told someone I’d call them at [time] and they’re waiting on my call’ and then make a fake phone call,” — teethfairie

15.

“‘Wow, you have a lot of opinions about this subject…’ and then never stop angling the conversation back to how weird it is that they’re still talking,” — Ordsmed

16.

“Had a friend who would put his hand gently on your shoulder and kindly say, ‘I love you , but I just don’t care, good (night/day),'” — Think-Passage-5522

17.

“While not exactly polite, my Aunt Sophie had a great way of ending a conversation. When the monologue got too much she would nod her head like she was listening and then at the slightest pause she would go, ‘The end.’ And walk away.

She mostly did it with kids who didn’t realize they were yabbering on about Thundercats too long. (It was me, I was yabbering on about Thundercats too long.)” — theslackjaw727

18.

”Change your stance, instead of facing them head on turn 90° your body language will end the conversation quickly without being rude,” — Zedd2087

19.

“Where possible, I’ve always found it best to tell these people up front that you have somewhere to be 15, 30, 45, etc minutes from now. If that’s not realistic, I’ve found that if you can usually find a gap to say you need to run if you focus on doing only this for 3-5 minutes,” — Pretend_Airline2811

Uproxx cover star Conan Gray has been hard at work on his next album Found Heaven, and now, it is almost about to be released so fans can finally hear it. Through pulling from ’80s dance-pop influences, Gray has released a handful of singles throughout the past year, including “Lonely Dancers,” “Alley Rose,” “Winner,” and “Never Ending Story” — which has elevated the excitement for the record in full.

If you’re planning to listen to it on Apple Music, here’s what to know about when you’ll be able to.

When Will Conan Gray’s New Album Found Heaven Be On Apple Music?

Conan Gray’s Found Heaven will be available to stream on Apple Music starting at midnight ET or 9 p.m. PT. Those listening in any other time zone will have to convert from there to know when you can listen. And if you use Spotify, it will be out on that streaming platform, too.

“Everything in my life was opening up and blossoming and it was just unbelievable happiness,” Gray recently told Nylon about the album’s inspiration. “And then, of course, I went and got my heart absolutely destroyed and then spent the next six months writing the album, the most depressed I’ve ever been in my entire life.”

What To Watch: Our Picks For The TV Shows And Movies We Think You Should Stream This Week

ripley
netflix

Each week our staff of film and television experts surveys the entertainment landscape to select the ten best new/newish shows available for you to stream at home. We put a lot of thought into our selections, and our debates on what to include and what not to include can sometimes get a little heated and feelings may get hurt, but so be it, this is an important service for you, our readers. With that said, here are our selections for this week.

20. Spaceman (Netflix)

SPACE
NETFLIX

The Sandman is the Spaceman. Adam Sandler stars in Spaceman, a science-fiction drama from director Johan Renck (Chernobyl) about a lonely astronaut who realizes his wife (played by Carey Mulligan) might not be waiting for him when he returns to Earth. Desperate to fix things, he gets advice from a mysterious talking spider voiced by Paul Dano, as one does. Spaceman is very odd and very sad, and Sandler is very good in it.

Watch it on Netflix

19. Mr. and Mrs. Smith (Prime Video)

PRIME
PRIME

Did we really need a reimagining of the Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie movie? Watch the first few episodes, and you might agree that this effort was not wasted. Donald Glover and Maya Erskine pick up as assassins who happen to be paired together (and “married”), and you aren’t ready for the rollicking, madcap, action-packed set of missions that they must complete (or else?). Even better: John and Jane Smith’s onscreen relationship is as much of daredevil stunt as the action scenes.

Watch it on Prime Video

18. The Holdovers (Peacock)

HOLDOVERS
PEACOCK

Our official position on The Holdovers is twofold: one, we support anything where Paul Giamatti gets to be curmudgeonly; two, we love to see Paul Giamatti thrive. This movie checks both boxes.

Watch it on Peacock

17. Abbott Elementary (Hulu)

ABBOT
ABC

School’s back in session at Abbott Elementary and the show has made some big changes after the romantic cliffhanger that ended season two. Janine has a new job (and a new love interest), Gregory’s struggling to move on, Josh Segarra from The Other Two is auditing classrooms, and Ava Coleman is a Harvard (adjacent) graduate. Lord help Mrs. Howard. After a longer-than-expected hiatus it’s nice to see the Emmy-winning comedy reinventing itself instead of resting on its laurels, but don’t worry, there are still plenty of Janelle James one-liners and Tyler James Williams pans to camera to keep things comfortably familiar.

Watch it on Hulu

16. The Gentlemen (Netflix)

GENT
NETFLIX

Netflix’s take on this Guy Ritchie banger takes the best part of the crime thriller – the wild accents, the aristocratic drug smuggling enterprise, the suits – and expands on them, trading the frenetic energy of his two hour movie for a more interesting character study disguised as a posh power play. Theo James’ Duke inherits his family’s land, title, and (unknowingly) their stake in a criminal underground filled with the nastiest of characters, all captained by Kaya Scodelario playing a well-dressed, dubiously motivated mob boss with some fantastic one-liners. Should Guy Ritchie have been doing TV all along?

Watch it on Netflix

15. The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live (AMC Plus)

TWD
AMC

Rick Grimes has been missing from TV screens for a handful of years and in The Walking Dead timeline for over a decade. Now, Michonne is about to save his ass and hopefully torch the CRM while she’s at it. Too much? Nah, this franchise went off the rails a long time ago, and that’s part of the fun. This spinoff ends up being a worthy love story within the parameters of this world, and existing viewers will adore it. Meanwhile, Daryl is still in France, now with added Carol, so they won’t be reinforcements for the “Save Rick” cause, but we can hope for a reunion.

Watch it on AMC Plus

14. Poor Things (Hulu)

Poor Things
Searchlight

What we have here:

  • Emma Stone absolutely cooking in an awards-collecting movie about a lady who is brought back to life by a mad scientist and promptly starts skipping across continents on a journey of liberation
  • Emma Stone working with director Yorgos Lanthimos again
  • Did… you read those first two?

No time like the present, baby.

13. Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Disney Plus)

Taylor Swift’s record-breaking concert film is now available to watch whenever you want. But if you only have time for one song from every era, for some reason, make them: “Cruel Summer” (Lover), “Love Story” (Fearless), “Champagne Problems” (Evermore), “Look What You Made Me Do” (Reputation), “Enchanted” (Speak Now), “All Too Well (10 Minute Version)” (Red), “Illicit Affairs” (Folklore), “Style” (1989), and “Anti-Hero” (Midnights). Don’t blame me for the lack of songs from debut. That’s on Taylor.

12. The Regime (Max)

REGIME
HBO

Kate Winslet as an unhinged autocrat in a problematic power struggle with her unpredictable mold-eradicating henchman that may or may not spark the downfall of an entire nation? Sign us up. As Elena Vernham, the chancellor of an authoritarian regime in fictional Europe, Winslet smooths over fascist ideals with maternal platitudes while insulating herself from the real problems of the world. It’s only when her home begins crumbling (literally) and her dead father begins haunting its halls (not so literally?) that her iron grip loosens enough for the vultures to sweep in.

11. Bottoms (Prime Video)

BOTTOMS
MGM

Bottoms is a screwball comedy about two gay teenage girls who start a high school fight club as a ploy to hook up with their cheerleader crushes. Ayo Edebiri is in it. So is Marshawn Lynch. There are acts of vandalism set to 80s bangers and football players in cages and none of it makes any sense but it’s absolutely worth just rolling with it.

This one is a blast. And it’s streaming on the same website you bought your coffee maker on. The future is kind of wild.

Watch it on Prime Video

10. Curb Your Enthusiasm (Max)

CURB
HBO

After 24 years, 12 seasons, and countless social assassinations; Curb Your Enthusiasm comes to an end this Sunday. It’s been a season filled with familiar faces (Ted Danson, the late Richard Lewis, Cheryl Hines, Vince Vaughn, JB Smoove) and misanthropic delights as Larry David walks off into the sunset so he can strangle more muppets or do whatever else he does when he isn’t kvetching about required niceties and other peccadilloes.

9. Oppenheimer (Peacock)

With this historical biopic, Christopher Nolan unknowingly created an atomic amuse-bouche for a double-feature blockbuster viewing experience that saved cinema last year. But, watching Cillian Murphy’s cheekbones cut glass as he chain-smokes his way to becoming Death, Destroyer of Worlds for three-plus hours is just as much fun at home as it was in a packed movie theater. Sporting a packed line-up of A-list talent (hello Oscar winner Robert Downey Jr.), a bone-rattling score, and some clever monochromatic cinematography to distinguish between its multiple timelines, Oppenheimer has more than earned its place on every nominations list this awards season. Now, go enjoy it in the way Nolan intended – streaming on Peacock.

I know. I know. The last thing you want to watch is a movie about politics. But make an exception for Girls State, a sequel of sorts to 2020’s Sundance-winning Boys State. Here’s what it’s about: “What would American democracy look like in the hands of teenage girls? A political coming-of-age story and a stirring reimagination of what it means to govern, Girls State follows young female leaders — from wildly different backgrounds across Missouri — as they navigate an immersive experiment to build a government from the ground up.”

If you’re going to do nostalgia, at least make sure it’s as good as X-Men ‘97. The animated series is a continuation of X-Men: The Animated Series, which aired from 1992 to 1997, and follows the team of mutants as they do mutant-like things. Do we really need to explain what the X-Men show is about? It’s about the X-Men.

Jennifer’s Body is considered a teen movie classic these days, but it was criminally underseen when it first came out. Don’t make the same mistake with writer Diablo Cody’s latest movie, Lisa Frankenstein. Netflix wanted a Game of Thrones-sized hit. It got one in 3 Body Problem, the first show from creators David Benioff and D. B. Weiss (working with Alexander Woo) since, well, Game of Thrones. The sci-fi mystery is about “a tight-knit group of brilliant scientists must join forces with an unflinching detective to stop humanity’s greatest threat.” The cast includes Liam Cunningham (a.k.a. the Onion Knight from Thrones) and Benedict Wong, which is reason enough to watch right there.

2. Shogun (Hulu)

SHOGUN
HULU

Shogun really is that good. A historical epic set in feudal Japan that follows an English pilot (Cosmo Jarvis) who washes ashore during a time of political strife, it takes the kind of storytelling swings you just wouldn’t expect. Its most fascinating characters speak almost exclusively in subtitles (hello Hiroyuki Sanada, Anna Sawaii, and Moeka Hoshi), its action sneaks up on you, and its political intrigue is cutthroat. It’s Game of Thrones with samurais and it should be on everyone’s must-see list.

Everybody remembers Matt Damon in The Talented Mr. Ripley, and Andrew Scott is fully shaking off his “Hot Priest” days to don Tom Ripley’s grifter duds, this time in a more visually-striking medium, from the looks of this trailer. This series is, of course, based upon Patricia Highsmith’s series of novels, and the title character takes a job in the 1960s that sets him on the deceit-filled path to murder. Whether this debut will lead to adapting more books in further seasons, we shall have to wait and see.
