The ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ Popcorn Bucket Might Be Even Dirtier Than The ‘Dune’ Bucket

Who knew the Dune: Part Two popcorn bucket would be so influential?

The viral success of the novelty item to promote Denis Villeneuve’s blockbuster sequel has inspired other movies to release their own popcorn bucket, from The Garfield Movie to Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire. They pale in comparison, however, to the Dune: Part Two version. Just look at this thing.

But if the sandworm bucket looks like something that should be sold in the “dirty” section of Spencer’s, then the Deadpool & Wolverine bucket belongs in a store with three XXX’s in the name.

On Thursday, Deadpool & Wolverine stars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman shared the first look at the film’s popcorn bucket. “Years from now they will look back at 2024 as the year the War of the Popcorn Buckets began,” Reynolds tweeted, along with footage of the sex toy, er, officially licensed product in action. The bucket is shaped like Wolverine’s head, with room for popcorn in his wide-open mouth. Perfect for buttering Jackman up.

Remember: Deadpool & Wolverine is a Disney movie.

It’s unclear if the Deadpool & Wolverine popcorn bucket will actually go on sale (there’s no information yet), but if it does, everyone who buys it will be put on a government watch list. Yes, that includes the Canadian government.

The replies are predictably all over the place:

Deadpool & Wolverine, the first R-rated film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, opens in theaters on July 26.

Patti LaBelle Wants Her ‘New Best Friend’ Cardi B On Her Upcoming Album ‘8065’

Even after supposedly canceling her plans to release an album this year, Cardi B remains a hotly demanded guest feature — and not just among hip-hop circles. While fans anticipate her contribution to the GloRilla and Megan Thee Stallion collaboration “Wanna Be” this Friday, a well-established soul legend has expressed interest in her own collab with Cardi. Patti LaBelle, despite being 80 years old, remains pretty well tuned-in to what’s hot on radio right now, and wants to put Cardi on her next album.

In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly at her 80th birthday party, LaBelle told the outlet about her new album. “It should be out at the end of this year, and it’s called 8065,” she said, explaining, “I’m 80 years young and 65 years in show business.” She told the outlet that she wanted to include Cardi on the album, explaining, “Why not? She’s like one of my new best friends.”

It wouldn’t be the first time that a legend of soul and R&B decided to work with a much younger artist. Dionne Warwick, put out “Nothing’s Impossible” with Chance The Rapper in 2021, just a month before her 81st birthday, while Stevie Wonder also worked with Cordae and Chika in 2020 after turning 70.

Brie Larson Got Real On The Advice That She Offers To Up-And-Coming Superheroes

The Hollywood Reporter recently rounded up some of the most powerful women in Hollywood for a roundtable interview that consisted of Brie Larson, Jodie Foster, Jennifer Aniston, Sofía Vergara, Nicole Kidman, Anna Sawai and Naomi Watts all discussing the highs and lows of acting, like losing out on jobs and snorting fake on-screen cocaine. You know, work stuff.

In the interview, Larson (Captain Marvel herself) revealed that she reaches out to up-and-coming actors who are cast in superhero movies in order to help them get adjusted. Watts asked Larson if she is a “superhero mentor,” the actress replied, “Always. I’m the first person to email everybody because it’s very specific and very strange. People are like, ‘I don’t know how to do this.’ Yeah, no one does. Why would you? I’ll say, ‘Train, because you’ll want to be as prepared in your body as you possibly can because it only gets harder as the job goes on,’” she explained.

Larson had a particularly harsh welcome into the Marvel universe after being cast in Captain Marvel, the first female-led superhero flick from the studio.

But besides ignoring fan reactions, Larson’s biggest advice involves using the bathroom. She added that she advised the up-and-coming superheroes to “Really understand how to be able to go to the bathroom in your suit.” Larson then revealed that it took her 45 minutes to take off her Captain Marvel suit.

Though Larson has been open about her struggles in the Marvel spotlight, that doesn’t stop her from reaching out to others on the same path. She added, “It’s a whole thing, and it’s a lot of pressure. And I think it’s a strange thing, especially when you’re a newcomer and you’re tasked with being the most powerful blah, blah, blah of blah, blah, blah, and you feel scared. It’s so hard to be the cool, confident one when you’re like, ‘Do I know what I’m supposed to be doing?’” Even if she didn’t know what she was doing, she sure looked cool doing it.

Meanwhile, Foster added, “I don’t know if anybody told you, but none of us knows what we’re doing.” It’s validating that the rich and famous feel just like us normal folks, too.

Voletta Wallace, The Notorious B.I.G.’s Mother, Would Like To ‘Slap The Daylights Out Of’ Diddy After Seeing His Hotel Assault Video

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ world began unraveling last November when Cassie Ventura, known artistically as Cassie, filed an extremely detailed lawsuit alleging years of mental, emotional, and physical abuse, including rape and sex trafficking. Diddy quickly settled with Cassie but maintained his innocence, and several more women have filed lawsuits alleging similar behavior. On May 17, CNN obtained and released video showing Diddy physically assaulting Cassie in a hotel hallway in 2016, aligning with an allegation in Cassie’s lawsuit.

Most recently, Rolling Stone published a Diddy exposé, and Voletta Wallace, the late The Notorious B.I.G.’s mother, felt compelled to speak to Rolling Stone about it all.

“I’m sick to my stomach,” Wallace told the publication, in reference to learning about Diddy’s alleged years-long depravity. “I’m praying for Cassie. I’m praying for his mother. I don’t want to believe the things that I’ve heard, but I’ve seen [the hotel video]. I pray that he apologizes to her.”

Wallace added, “I hope that I see Sean one day, and the only thing I want to do is slap the daylights out of him. And you can quote me on that. Because I liked him. I didn’t want to believe all the awful things, but I’m so ashamed and embarrassed.”

The Rolling Stone report by Cheyenne Roundtree and Nancy Dillon surfaced even more concerning alleged behavior dating back to the 1980s, including new Biggie-related details, as summarized by Rolling Stone‘s Roundtree and Jason Newman below:

Rolling Stone‘s investigation into Combs documented a pattern of alleged abuse dating back to Combs’ time at Howard University in the late 1980s. Early Bad Boy staffers, associates and industry sources also recalled how Biggie viewed his label boss as a ‘corny executive’ and was on the verge of leaving Bad Boy before his murder in 1997. Combs capitalized on the shock and sorrow over his star artist’s death, sources say, pushing his team to ensure Biggie’s upcoming album, Life After Death would top the charts and allegedly dismissing discussions to put Biggie on the cover of Rolling Stone.

Bad Boy’s co-founding partner and president Kirk Burrowes told Rolling Stone that he advocated for the late rapper to get the cover. ‘I was telling Sean, ‘Let’s make it Biggie. You still have a chance [for a cover in the future],” Burrowes recalled. ‘He’s like ‘No, he’s dead. I’m putting out [Combs’ debut album, No Way Out] in July. I need to be on the cover of Rolling Stone.’” (Voletta Wallace declined to comment on the anecdote.)”

Following CNN’s release of the 2016 hotel security footage, Diddy posted a video in which he issued a lackluster apology but didn’t mention Cassie by name.

“We are aware of the video that has been circulating online allegedly depicting Sean Combs assaulting a young woman in Los Angeles,” the Los Angeles Police Department stated on May 20. “We find the images extremely disturbing and difficult to watch. If the conduct depicted occurred in 2016, unfortunately we would be unable to charge as the conduct would have occurred beyond the timeline where a crime of assault can be prosecuted.”

Cassie released her first public statement on May 23.

How To Buy Beyoncé’s Official ‘Cowboy Carter’ Vinyl

beyonce

Yee-haw. Beyoncé’s album Cowboy Carter broke boundaries and set records when it was released, but when fans noticed that some of the songs were different from the streaming version of the album on the vinyl they’d pre-ordered, they certainly felt a way about it. But now, the vinyl is being reissued with the completed tracklist and is now available for pre-order. You can visit Beyoncé’s official shop to see the options available. Black, blue, red, and white variants are available and will come with two vinyl discs, a 40-page booklet featuring exclusive images, and a collectable 24×36″ poster. The default official vinyl version is $59.98.

When the initial versions of the vinyl rolled off the presses, they were allegedly missing five songs: “Ya Ya,” “Spaghettii,” “The Linda Martell Show,” “Oh Louisiana,” and “Flamenco.” However, on the new pressings, all five songs are present on the tracklist, which means that fans pre-ordering the vinyl now will get the complete album. The missing tracks were explained by fans as the result of Beyoncé still working on the album in the months leading up to its release, well after an initial version had already been submitted to manufacturers. Her last-minute tinkering may have generated some discrepancies, but since the album is already available digitally, fans could simply stream the album in full until now. Whatever wizardry it took to get the massive album onto the format may result in a new set of differences, but for now, we can look forward to the release.

A Michigan Man With A Suspended License Left A Judge In Absolute Shock By Attending A Zoom Court Call While Driving

Zoom calls seemingly took over the workplace world beginning in 2020, and that trend is still alive and well and many sectors. Not for Billie Eilish, of course, but the practice does seem to save time for the legal system, although a certain Cat Lawyer of 2021 infamy would beg to differ.

A virtual court appearance also didn’t work out so well this month for a defendant who incriminated himself while appearing on camera after being charged for driving on a suspended license. For whatever reason, defendant Corey Harris decided that it was a fantastic idea to Zoom while illegally operating a vehicle, and District Court Judge Cedric Simpson (in Ann Arbor, Michigan) was shocked, but you could also tell that the dude has seen some stuff, and this simply happened to be a tech-filled spin on other defendants kicking themselves in the face. Also, the defendant actually looked more shocked than the judge after realizing what he brought upon himself.

The above ABC affiliate video (via Complex) shows exactly how surprised that Harris was once Simpson asked what the hell he was doing: “Okay, so maybe I don’t understand something. This is a driving while license suspended, and he was just driving.” In response, Harris’ mouth flew open, which surely let the world know that he would have preferred that a sinkhole open up in that parking lot right away and end the whole charade.

Busted. Bond revoked.

A ‘Wheel Of Fortune’ Contestant Thought His Wildly Inappropriate Guess Might Be Edited From The Episode

wheel butt
wheel of fortune

There’s crazy Wheel of Fortune clips. Then there’s “RIGHT IN THE BUTT.”

During a recent episode of the game show (there’s something in the water over there), Tavaris Williams made one of his fellow contestants gasp “WHAT?!” after he attempted to solve the puzzle with a NSFW guess. He discussed the incident on Jimmy Kimmel Live this week, telling host Jimmy Kimmel that he has “never used those words in sequential order a day in my life.”

One of the best parts about the viral clip is Pat Sajak’s deadpan “no” reaction. According to Williams (via Entertainment Weekly), the soon-to-be-retired Wheel of Fortune host talked to him during a break.

Williams, who signed up for Wheel of Fortune after his kids dared him to, said host Pat Sajak made sure to check in on him after his big flub. “Pat was the best — he made me feel so great about that at the break,” he recalled. “He said, ‘You know, we’ll find a tactful way of editing it. I don’t know how, but we’ll do it.’”

The episode was filmed long before it aired, so Williams had to keep quiet about his soon-to-be infamous guess — to everyone except his wife, that is. He explained, “I told my wife immediately after: ‘I will keep everything a secret except this — this you have to know about. They said they might edit it, but I don’t know what it’s going to look like.’ And then it was out of sight, out of mind until the world reminded me of what I said.”

You can watch the Jimmy Kimmel Live interview below (it starts around 9:40).

Charles Barkley Says Shaq Didn’t Speak With The ‘Inside’ Guys For Two Days After The ‘1, 2, Back To 1’ Moment

Charles Barkley has not been shy about expressing his frustration with the current predicament the TNT crew finds itself in, as they wait to find out if they are, for sure, out of jobs after next season. Reports have indicated ESPN, NBC, and Amazon will be the NBA’s broadcast partners for the next rights deal, with Warner Bros. Discovery failing to meet the league’s initial asking price in the exclusive negotiation window and now having to pay even more to retain the package.

There are many fans frustrated with TNT’s failed negotiation as well, because it will bring a premature end to the best sports studio show on television. That’s led to many people reliving their favorite Inside the NBA memories, and recently Barkley did the same with Sports Illustrated’s Jimmy Traina. One moment that lives in the all-time lore of the show is the time Barkley stepped all over Shaq’s time during a segment and the big man got so mad he wouldn’t participate, offering up the iconic “it’s supposed to be 1, 2, 3, not 1, 2, back to 1” line that still gets referenced on the show when Chuck starts jumping in to add another word.

Apparently, Shaq’s anger was very real over that moment, particularly once Ernie, Chuck, and Kenny lost it laughing, and he spent the next two days refusing to talk to the rest of the crew unless they were on-air.

“Oh my God, he didn’t speak to us for two days,” said Barkley. “He was that pissed. He didn’t speak to us for two days. I’m not even exaggerating. The only time he talked is if we were on the air and then he’d go back. Normally we sit around together and watch the game in the same room and shoot the s— the whole time. He was so mad about that. He was really serious about that, but we didn’t care.”

“The worst thing you can do to him is laugh at him,” Barkley added.

Shaq has since loosened up a bit, but still bristles at being laughed at. I think this frustrated him more than anything else because he was 100 percent right and still the guys couldn’t help but laugh while Chuck poked the bear with the “Mr. Sensitive” stuff. Taking this show away from us would supplant refusing to release Coyote vs. Acme as the worst thing David Zaslav has done to the viewing public.

When Will Eminem’s New Song ‘Houdini’ Be On Spotify?

eminem

Earlier this week, Eminem announced “Houdini,” the first single from Eminem’s upcoming album, The Death Of Slim Shady, with the help of illusionist David Blaine. The single will be his second of the year, following his appearance on the Lyrical Lemonade standout, “Doomsday 2.” So, when will fans be able to hear the self-declared Rap God’s latest?

With a due date of May 31, “Houdini” will available to stream on DSPs like Spotify at midnight ET, 9 PM PT. While some artists have been inconsistent with getting their streams up on time, Eminem certainly is not one of them.

Em’s been teasing The Death Of Slim Shady for a bit, trolling fans with a phony album announcement on April Fools’ Day. Then, earlier this month, he put out an obituary for his controversial alter ego in his local newspaper. “His complex and tortured existence has come to a close,” it read. “And the legacy he leaves behind is no closer to resolution than the manner in which this character departed this world.”

The album will be Eminem’s first since Music To Be Murdered By from 2020, so anticipation is certainly high for The Death Of Slim Shady, even if the character will be missed.

“Houdini” is due on 5/31 through Shady Records, Aftermath Entertainment, and Interscope Records.
