The hottest song of the summer just got even better. Last month, Memphis rapper GloRilla dropped her Ehhthang Ehhthang mixtape, which featured the Megan Thee Stallion collaboration, “Wanna Be.” Tonight (May 24) Glo and Meg have shared the remix to “Wanna Be,” which features a new verse from a fellow heavy hitter, Cardi B.
The three first teased the remix during the New York City stop of Meg and Glo’s Hot Girl Summer Tour, during which, Cardi made a surprise appearance. And of course, the three delivered.
Both Meg and Glo’s verses remain the same as their verses on the original version, but Cardi packs a punch with verse of her own.
On Cardi’s verse, she opens the song unleashing the heat, stacking up bars full of clever wordplay and warnings to the opps.
“These b*tches be boring, corny / Pop out, new bag with jewelry / Throwing ass all on my story / I make a photographer horny,” Cardi raps on her verse.
Granted, the original version of “Wanna Be” was already a hit, but Cardi joining in makes her the Blossom to Meg’s Bubbles and Glo’s Buttercup. The Powerpuff Girls of rap are running the game this summer.
The Dallas Mavericks made the NBA Finals on Thursday night when the team won Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals against the Minnesota Timberwolves. From a basketball perspective, this means that Dallas will take on the Boston Celtics in a series that starts next week and has the potential to be a classic.
But for fans of Inside the NBA, this is almost certainly going to be the last time we see the fellas before the next NBA media rights deal is all sorted out. If you believe the current reporting, it sounds like Turner might end up on the outside looking in, which has drawn the ire of Charles Barkley. And as Ernie Johnson sent the show off the air for the final time this year, Barkley saw a chance to crack a joke about the whole situation.
Ernie: “Cannot wait for next season. It’s gonna be a blast.”
“Cannot wait for next season,” Johnson said. “It’s gonna be a blast.”
While Johnson attempted to praise folks around the show, Barkley couldn’t resist the urge to say something.
“Hey,” Barkley said. “Did Ernie say blast or last? Did you say blast or last?”
Chuck thought this was an all-time great quip, presumably because it was. It wasn’t the only comment about the future of the show on the evening, as Luka Doncic joined the set after being named the Western Conference Finals MVP and expressed that “we gotta figure out something” to keep the show around.
Fortunately, Luka learned that Inside will still be around next year. Whether it’s a blast or if it’s the last time we will see them, however, remains to be seen.
Kehlani is opening themselves up to love. Ahead of their upcoming forth album, Crash, they’ve shared “Next 2 U,” their soft, sweet romantic ballad.
On “Next 2 U,” Kehlani finds themselves smitten and in a state of infatuation. But now, having experienced heartbreak in different forms, they are ready to let down their walls and invite in the feelings of love and infatuation.
“You’re more than the sun, you’re why the sun beams / Your love is high, wide like a river / And if I die, I already fell in love / I know what it’s like to feel like I’m dyin’ in peace,” Kehlani sings on the song’s chorus.
Kehlani has never been one to shy away from any emotion, but when speaking with Apple Music 1’s Zane Lowe about their upcoming album, Crash, they revealed that they had the most fun making this project, compared to their others.
“I wanted to make things for once that didn’t feel reminiscent,” said Kehlani. “For once, I’m not attached to some story or some public thing or some trauma or some deep explanations. As we go out this process and we have to talk to each other a bunch to all these people, I have nothing but joyful things to say to you.”

Charli XCX is always five steps ahead of the game. But she just took her viral hit “360” to the next level. With assistance from Yung Lean and dance music legend Robyn, Charli just dropped the ultimate club remix.
Both Charli and Lean are known for their futuristic sounds, and while the two acts may not fit within the mainstream landscape, they don’t just make music all willy-nilly. Their style is unique, and Lean reminds us that it can’t be replicated.
“Know you wanna dream like Lean / Wanna be like Lean / But it’s not as easy as it seems
Who do I trust? Me / We put this sh*t together, so carelessly,” raps Lean on his verse.
Charli has been delivering dance floor bangers for over a decade, but Robyn pops in to remind us who the electropop dance queen is. While Robyn is known to take long breaks between releasing albums, she lets us know that she’s not going anywhere anytime soon. ”
“I’m the realest ever, yeah / That’s what I’ve been told / Killin’ this sh*t since 1994 / Got everybody in the club dancing on their own,” Robyn sings on her verse.
You can listen to the “360” remix above.

We are just two weeks out from Normani’s long-awaited solo debut album, Dopamine. And tonight (May 31), the starlet on the rise dropped the viral “Candy Paint.”
Normani has been teasing “Candy Paint” for quite some time. The song appeared in a campaign for Bose last summer. And over the course of the past few weeks, the “Candy Paint” dance challenge has been a trending move on TikTok. And the full version delivers on it’s banging promise.
Over a clangy, bumping beat, Normani pops in, fully aware that all eyes are on her. She can’t help that she’s young and beautiful, nor can she help whose heads turn in her direction. Taking inspiration from her hometown of Houston, she draws attention like the lowriders in the 713.
“If you let me take him, you might never get him back / I’m a baddie and I don’t know how to act / Booty candy painted with the diamond in the back,” she sings on the chorus.
It’s been six years since Normani’s former girl group announced their indefinite hiatus, and since Normani first starting teasing her solo album. But “Candy Paint,” along with the previously released “1:59,” precedes a project that already seems to be worth the long wait.

This summer, we’re all gonna be outside. And Fred Again.. just dropped a hot contender for the song of the season. Joined by Anderson .Paak and Chika, Fred is setting the sexy vibes with his new single, “Places To Be.”
Over an energetic beat, listeners can feel their hearts racing, instantly calling back their favorite summer fling. On the chorus, Chika and Paak repeat “Hello, I got places to be / Got me next to you, and you next to me,” utilizing a sample of a poem called “Intimacy,” first shared to Soundcloud by Chika in 2017
Paak takes the bridge, delivering his signature raspy vocals, as he promises his loyalty to a woman, and simply asks the same in return.
“Baby girl, there’s nothin’ that could keep from you / Haters always wanna keep me from you / Got me pickin’ out my speed now for ya / Please be loyal,” he sings.
The song’s speed slows down toward the end, sonically symbolizing winding down in the summertime heat, with your favorite person by your side.
In addition to this instantly iconic track, Paak is gearing up to release more music this summer. Next Friday (June 7), Paak will release his new collab album with Knxwledge as the supergroup NxWorries, called Why Lawd?.
In the meantime, you can listen to “Got Places To Be” above.
The Dallas Mavericks are on their way to the NBA Finals. Thanks to both Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving putting up spectacular nights, Dallas was able to walk into Minnesota and pick up an emphatic, 124-103 win in Game 5 over the Timberwolves to pick up a 4-1 series victory.
The Mavericks made very clear in the first quarter that they had no interest in letting this series go six games. While things were close as the two teams felt one another out, Dallas closed the period on a 17-1 run that let them take a 35-19 lead into the second.
Doncic was the driving force behind all of this, as the Mavs star looked like the best player in the world over the opening 12 minutes of the game. Doncic outscored the Timberwolves on his own during the first, as he had 20 points on 8-for-11 shooting.
Luka Doncic was SCORCHING in the 1st quarter of Game 5
Minnesota had an opportunity to try and cut into the lead early on in the second quarter, as Doncic went to the bench to start the frame. Instead, Irving started to cook, and as a result, the Mavs actually extended their lead to 20 points by the time Doncic returned to the game.
Even when Doncic returned, the Wolves were able to get the lead down to 16 points, just barely cracking open the door to start making the deficit more respectable with the hopes of a run in the second half. Instead, Dallas went on a major run to close out the quarter, as the team outscored Minnesota, 17-4, over the final 4:30 of the second to go into the locker room with a 69-40 lead.
Kyrie downhill high off the glass… a thing of beauty
Doncic and Irving were nothing short of brilliant in the first half, as the pair to combined to outscore the Timberwolves on their own. The former had 25 points on 10-for-16 shooting with six rebounds, three assists, and two rebounds, while the latter went for 19 points on 7-for-11 shooting. As a team, Dallas shot 61 percent from the field and 60 percent from three, compared to 34.1 percent from the field and 16.7 percent from three for Minnesota.
Luka and Kyrie were sensational in the 1st half, combining for 44 PTS!
There was just nothing that Minnesota could do in the second half. Even when the team would put a run together, the scoreboard would show that they were nowhere close to taking a lead — at no point in the second half did the Timberwolves get within 20 points, and Dallas went up by as many as 36. Even though Karl-Anthony Towns and Anthony Edwards both put up big numbers, there was just nothing the Wolves could do with how dominant Doncic and Irving were on the night.
With just over three minutes left and Dallas leading by 25 points, both teams decided to empty their benches and play out the string with the superstars watching from the sideline. And when the buzzer finally sounded, the Mavs were already celebrating their first berth in the NBA Finals in 13 years.
Doncic and Irving each went for 36 points, with Doncic putting up a double-double with 10 rebounds. Both P.J. Washington (12 points) and Daniel Gafford (11 points) hit the double-figure scoring mark on the night. For the Timberwolves, Towns had a double-double with 28 points and 12 rebounds, while Edwards had 28 points, nine rebounds, and six assists.
Now, the Mavericks will get a week off before the start of the NBA Finals, where they’ll take on the Boston Celtics. Game 1 will take place in Boston on Thursday, June 6.
Luka Doncic is one of the NBA’s best players when it comes to ripping an opposing team’s heart out on a big stage. There have been some pretty prominent examples in the past of Doncic finding a level that no one else in the league can reach when the Dallas Mavericks really need it — just ask the Phoenix Suns, as Doncic famously once walked into their building and ended their season in a Game 7 with an absolutely stunning performance.
While it’s not happening in a Game 7, Doncic painted his latest masterpiece on Thursday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The game took place in Target Center, and a win would mean that Dallas would move on to the NBA Finals. As such, Doncic had 25 at halftime, the Mavs went into the locker room with a 29 point lead, and everyone in the building was just totally deflated. In fact, Doncic got to use the second half of the game getting into it with fans, namely this one guy who appeared to call him a crybaby.
Well, Doncic finished a layup through traffic and drew a foul, and right after, he turned to the guy and had something to say. Sitting in front of the heckler was none other than Snoop Dogg, who thought Luka tearing into some dude was absolutely hilarious.
The Minnesota Timberwolves finally got a win over the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday night in Game 4, with Karl-Anthony Towns and Anthony Edwards coming to life. With their stars finally playing well at the same time, there was some optimism that Minnesota might be able to threaten the Mavs in the series, considering they were so close in the first three games even with their stars struggles.
With the series shifting back to Minneapolis, Game 5 presented an opportunity for the Wolves to really make things interesting in the series. That hope lasted less than a quarter of game time, as Luka Doncic outscored the Wolves by himself in the first quarter and by halftime, the Mavs led by 29 (with Luka and Kyrie Irving outscoring Dallas by themselves, 44-40).
Charles Barkley had been among those that bought into the Wolves getting Game 5, calling for a blowout win and a raucous Target Center. Instead, with a stunned crowd behind him, Barkley noted he was shocked by how flat Minnesota came out, and later said he was “embarrassed” for the Timberwolves fans because of how terribly the team played in the first 24 minutes.
It was truly shocking to see how flat they came out, and he and Shaq felt the Wolves were satisfied by simply not getting swept. Dallas, to their credit, recognized the danger in giving Minnesota hope of becoming the first team to ever come back from down 0-3, and immediately took control of Game 5 and silenced the crowd. Doncic and Kyrie were sensational in the first half and their defense was crisp in movement and rotations, but the Wolves also looked totally overwhelmed by the moment and never responded to that first punch from the Mavs.
Graduation season has befallen upon American parents and caregivers. There are many country songs that croon on about how children grow up so fast that you’ll miss it if you take your eyes off of them for just a second. The month of May starts the flow of tears down proud parents’ cheeks as they watch the little person they raised have their named called for their very last high school moment.
It’s a feeling that is bitter-sweet and cannot be easily wrapped up in words to show the complexity of emotions both parents and graduates are experiencing. Mr. Tausch, principal of Louisville High School enlisted the help of the class of 2036 to honor how quickly the transition from kindergarten to high school graduate happens.
The video is beyond adorable featuring seven kindergarteners jumping “into” the camera only to come out on the other side in caps and gowns as high school seniors.
The short video is set to Elvis Presley’s “Burning Love” and boy is it hitting people in the feels. Just about everyone that watches the video turns into a crying mess.
See if you can get through it without getting a little something in your eye:
“Whoever had the foresight to make this is a genius. I’m bawling,” one person shares.
“Not me sobbing! My daughter is graduating this year and I still can’t comprehend how time went by so quickly,” another mom writes.
“I didn’t know where this was going.. but once that first kid jumped I instantly started bawling my eyes out congrats grads & under grads,” someone cries.
“Oh my God, these are not my children and I’m sitting here with tears in my eyes. This is the most amazing graduation video I’ve ever seen,” one commenter says.
People can’t seem to get over how brilliant this video is or how emotional it made them over kids they don’t know. Parents everywhere know what it feels like to put to bed a kindergartener and waking up a senior. A trippy time warp happens between those years and this video captures it perfectly.
