Is Nicki Minaj Featured On Drake’s ‘For All The Dogs?’

Delays be damned, Drake’s long-awaited album For All The Dogs has finally seen the light of day. The “Slime You Out” rapper brought out the big guns for the project’s special appearances. So, is Nicki Minaj featured on Drake’s For All The Dogs? Fellow musicians Bad Bunny, J. Cole, Lil Yachty, 21 Savage, Sexyy Red, and more all pop in for a guest verse. However, Drake’s Young Money comrade is notably missing.

After teasing that they were linking back up for a track in September, this blatant omission isn’t sitting well with fans. During an interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, Minaj confirmed that the song would make the final tracklist, saying, “You know, I have a song on Drake’s album coming out soon, too. I love the song so much. I’ll just say I really love the song. I know my fans are going to love the song. I know the world’s going to love the song. And that’s all I will say about that.”

Later in the conversation, Minaj revealed that Drake didn’t turn in his verse for her album either. “Barbz, make sure y’all let Drizzy Drake know that Pink Friday 2 is coming out November 17 as well. And we are waiting on his contribution,” declared Minaj, instructing her fans to remind him of his obligation. Maybe Minaj’s forthcoming album will make up for the missed collaboration, or if Drake drops a deluxe edition of For All The Dogs with the unreleased track.

Take a look at some fans’ reactions below.

Is Miss Minutes Evil In ‘Loki’ Season 2?

As Loki unveiled its Season 2 premiere, one character is notably missing from the action: Miss Minutes. However, the cartoon clock’s absence doesn’t pass by without an ominous warning from Loki, and it’s definitely a good idea to catch up on where she stands going into the rest of the season.

In the first season, Miss Minutes (voiced by animation veteran Tara Strong) starts out as an adorable mascot slash helpful assistant for the Time Variance Authority. However, it’s revealed in the final episodes that she’s been working closely with He Who Remains (Jonathan Majors) who has been pulling the strings of the TVA the whole time, and clearly, with the help of Miss Minutes.

Loki is aware of this fact thanks to his calamitous encounter with He Who Remains. In the Season 2 premiere, Loki stops Mobius from paging Miss Minutes and clues him in that she’s not to be trusted. Ke Huy Quan also reveals that Miss Minutes is supposed to be monitoring the Temporal Loom, but she’s conveniently missing as its wildly overloading.

As for whether she’s evil going into Season 2, Loki executive producer Kevin Wright revealed to Screen Rant that the show will explore the nature of Miss Minutes:

She says this season something along the lines of He Who Remains gave her the ability to write her own programming, to create her own personality, to grow, to have wants, to have needs.

I think that’s exciting if that’s true, knowing what we know about He Who Remains, he doesn’t give a lot of people a lot of choices up until his death. And I’d be interested to see how much of her programming is her own, how much of this is just further path that He Who Remains maybe paved for all of our characters to walk down for some bigger reasoning.

Wright’s answers jibes with previous hints dropped by director Kate Herron and writer Michael Waldron shortly after the first season finale. Both shared that there was always a plan to keep Miss Minutes in the story as long as possible.

“She was a really fun way to deliver some pretty heady exposition,” Waldron told Marvel.com. “There’s something sing-songy and sort of non-threatening about [the way she talks]. But yet, when it turns, and when she becomes evil, suddenly it’s really scary.”

Who Pruned Loki In The Season 2 Premiere?

In true Loki fashion, the Season 2 premiere has already got the theories churning thanks to the show’s reality-bending plot that has kicked into overdrive thanks to the death of Jonathan Majors‘ He Who Remains.

In the final moments of Season 1, Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino) kicked Loki through a time door so she could murder the Kang variant who she rightly blamed for a life of being ripped from her family. However, He Who Remains was keeping the Sacred Timeline in order and preventing a Multiversal War. That’s obviously not happening now, and the effects are immediately being felt in the Season 2 premiere.

The most dramatic effect is Loki’s return to the TVA came with a side effect as the Trickster God starts time-slipping in horrifying fashion. To fix the problem, Ke Huy Quan‘s Ouroboros comes up with a solution that involves Loki pruning himself so Owen Wilson’s Morbius can pull him back into the correct time thread. However, Loki’s time-slipping causes a problem at the last minute when he loses his pruning rod after getting pulled into the future.

As he races around a seemingly empty TVA, he surprisingly runs into Sylvie who simply says, “There you are.” But before Loki can react he’s pruned from behind, which fortunately, was what he needed. Of course, this raises the question of who pruned Loki and fans are already concocting a theory: Himself.

The crux of this theory is that Sylvie acted like the two of them recently got separated and she thought she was seeing the Loki from that timeline, who was actually behind the time-slipping Loki and pruned him.

Of course, this is a time-travel/multiverse show, so the options are literally limitless. Some fans have even suggested that Sylvie is working with a different Kang variant, which would be a wild, yet on-brand twist for the show.

And then there’s this theory, which frankly, we all should consider. Everything is on the table:

Al Michaels, Who Is Almost 79 Years Old, Claims He Has Never Knowingly Eaten A Vegetable

The case can be made that Al Michaels is the most iconic living sports broadcaster. Over the course of his career, Michaels has provided the audio soundtrack to some of the biggest games in American sports, and more recently, Michaels has been an institution in the world of the NFL. He’s currently plying his trade on Thursday nights alongside Kirk Herbstreit on Amazon’s NFL broadcasts.

Michaels has seen and done a whole lot, but there is one thing that he has managed to avoid doing in his nearly 79 years on this rock we call home: knowingly eat a vegetable. Michaels sat down with CNN’s Chris Wallace for a conversation and essentially explained that both of his parents were 18 when he was born, and as a result, his mother “just let me have the run of the course, and I always pushed the vegetables away.”

Wallace, bless his heart, asked Michaels if it’s plausible that he would like “one of the more non-objectionable vegetables,” and immediately brings up a carrot.

“Oh please, please,” Michaels responded. “No. No. That’s an objectionable vegetable … I look at it, I just don’t even like the look of it. And I surmise what it might taste like, in terms of the texture of it.”

Michaels assumes that a carrot — a god damn CARROT — “doesn’t look like something that would go down well.” If anyone at Amazon (or Al Michaels himself) reads this, all of us at Uproxx Sports would like to formally invite him to come eat some vegetables with us, but, like, fried ones that you can cover in sauce. We would like to find out if Michaels would eat an onion ring, basically. Also: What are his thoughts on fruit? I’m going to spend the rest of the month thinking about this.

One Of Angus Cloud’s Final Performances Will Grab You And Refuse To Let Go In The Tense ‘Your Lucky Day’ Trailer

Euphoria star Angus Cloud recently passed away at age 25 with TMZ recently reporting that he succumbed to a lethal cocktail of drugs. His role as the drug-dealing Fezco “Fez” O’Neill was his first acting credit, although his star had begun to rise, and he had even wrapped three upcoming films prior to his death. One of those movies, Your Lucky Day will arrive in theaters later this fall, and the trailer is a lot to witness.

An apparent chance encounter at a convenience store involving a $156 million lottery ticket transforms from a straight-up attempted robbery into a hostage situation with a dead police officer on hand. Additionally, other parties descend upon the scene with no-good intent. An eerie rendition of “America The Beautiful” in the background is not subtle, nor is the messaging about how one can get rich in America. According to the film’s description, “After a dispute over a winning lottery ticket turns into a deadly hostage situation, the witnesses must decide exactly how far they’ll go and how much blood they’re willing to spill for a cut of the $156 million.”

The Well Go USA movie was directed and written by Dan Brown, who recently told Collider about how Cloud strove to unearth the “best parts” within his character, which was an undoubtedly heavy process:

Really, he took what was written, just shifted it around a little bit, and then he added a bunch of stuff at the end that made it poignant in a way that I hadn’t kind of expected. And so that was really just kind of like a lovely moment where he took this scene in a place and portrayed a sadness and a deepness that the character didn’t have in that moment, and I felt like it was much stronger for that.

Cloud also completed filming on an Untitled Monster Movie for Universal Pictures and appeared in Freaky Tales (starring Pedro Pascal and Ben Mendelsohn) prior to his passing. Both films are expected to arrive in 2024.

Your Lucky Day comes to theaters on November 10.

Bob Odenkirk Workshopped Three Brilliant New Reality Shows For Himself With Stephen Colbert

Self-proclaimed busy beaver Bob Odenkirk was able to stop by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert after the show was on hiatus for many months. Due to the rules surrounding the SAG-AFTRA strikes, the actor couldn’t talk about any of his upcoming acting projects, though he mentioned his new children’s book, Zilot. Of course, he’s a smart guy, so Odenkirk had the brilliant idea to survey the audience with ideas for potential new shows that he could star in. He’s a man of the people.

Bob Eats Outta Cans was the first proposal, which was pitched as a travel/food show. “You know, Stanley Tucci goes to Italy and makes pasta…I thought ‘I’ll travel, and then I’ll come home and just eat outta cans and see what happens to me.’” But the travel part wouldn’t be filmed, mind you. “I want you to know I’m budget-conscious.” Think of it like a Bob Odenkirk-starring mukbang.

The next show idea was taking a page right from the HGTV handbook with Property Octuplets, a home improvement show starring Odenkirk and his seven secret twins. “I have seven identical brothers and we team up and do what we do best, Stephen, which is renovate houses. It’s me, Bob, Rob, Gob, Knob, Blob, Krob, Hob, and of course, Andreas,” Odenkirk explained, before declaring himself “The Hot One.” This show definitely seems like the frontrunner, and will probably do well now that one of those property bothers is a little preoccupied.

Odenkirk’s final show proposal was the most popular: the world’s next best dating show, Everything Island. “It’s every Netflix reality show rolled into one. What we’re gonna do is get seven couples who have been divorced and remarried but are open to dating. They are going to compete for an island, they never see the island until they agree to live there for the rest of their lives, naked and afraid for $10,000.” Seems like a lot of risk for just $10K, but not everyone has Squid Game money. Times are tough.

He added some more important rules, “During the course of the show, if I have sex at any time, nobody gets any money, and I have to apologize to my wife in a reunion episode. And I’ll eat outta cans.” Clearly, this is the one that will move forward, and maybe Odenkirk will finally get that Emmy….for Everything Island instead of that other show. Check out the full clip above.

College Football Week 6 Watch Guide: Gut Check Saturday

We are more than a quarter of the way into the college football season and I still don’t think we have a great sense of who is actually a really good football team. Very few of the top teams have just mowed down their competition, as just about every squad has had a shaky game already this season.

That brings us to a Week 6 slate that features some interesting games from that perspective. There are only a few big ranked showdowns, headlined by the annual Red River Showdown, but a lot of games where the best teams in the country should win and win comfortably. Coaches and players always love to talk about how their focus is only on the team in front of them, but we’ll learn a lot about who really puts that to heart this week and who might have a propensity for playing with their food (and maybe getting caught doing it).

Oklahoma (+5.5) vs. Texas, 12:00 p.m. ET (ABC)

The game of the day is the artist formerly known as the Red River Shootout, and historically it lives up to that name with a lot of points and, no matter how good the two teams are, a close game. This year the line is inside a touchdown in favor of Texas, as the Sooners are undefeated but have yet to face top competition. Texas, meanwhile, thumped Alabama and looks the part of a legit contender. That can change quickly though, and getting through Red River as a favorite is not always the easiest task for either side.

LSU (-4.5) at Mizzou, 12:00 p.m. ET (ESPN)

Speaking of shootouts, LSU and Mizzou meet this weekend in a game that could be real up-and-down. LSU got caught on the wrong end of one of those a week ago against Ole Miss in a wild game, and will have its hands full dealing with Luther Burden and this Mizzou receiving corps. On the other side, Missouri hasn’t exactly been stout defensively, as Vandy and Kansas State have both moved the ball pretty well on them, and I think we might be in for another game that lights up the scoreboard.

Maryland (+19.5) at Ohio State, 12:00 p.m. ET (FOX)

The Terps are 5-0 and feeling themselves, but reality is arriving in the form of the meat of their Big Ten East schedule. The Buckeyes are up first in Maryland’s final season playing OSU, Michigan, and Penn State each year, and we’re going to find out whether this Ohio State team really has turned the corner. They are coming off the bye after somehow escaping South Bend with a win two weeks ago, and it’s time to see if Ryan Day has been able to turn the page from his rage at Lou Holtz and shift focus to the Terps and an offense that’s been prolific against lesser competition.

Marshall (+6.5) at NC State, 2:00 p.m. ET (CW)

Marshall’s a good football team and already has a win over an ACC opponent this season when they beat a (bad) Virginia squad. Now they head to Raleigh where the Wolfpack are making a QB change after a woeful offensive showing a week ago against Louisville. MJ Morris takes over and we’ll see how the dynamic youngster fares against a solid Herd squad that will be looking to bait him into some mistakes and make this sweaty for the home side.

Washington State (+3.5) at UCLA, 3:00 p.m. ET (Pac-12 Network)

There are two games on this watch guide on the Pac-12 Network, which is dreadful because 75 percent of the country cannot watch that channel. That said, if you’re one of the lucky ones who does, this could be one of the best games of the day. Wazzu has been rolling and Cameron Ward has been sensational at QB for the Cougars, but UCLA is favored here despite being the unranked side in this matchup and Dante Moore should be much more comfortable at home after a rough outing on the road in Utah two weeks ago.

Alabama (-1.5) at Texas A&M, 3:30 p.m. ET (CBS)

It’s been a long time since Alabama was this short a favorite in a regular season game, but this also isn’t your typical Nick Saban team. Alabama’s seemingly found its identity throwing it back to leaning on its defense and running the ball, but how that works against a Texas A&M team that has been rolling since the Miami loss remains to be seen.

Syracuse (+9.5) at UNC, 3:30 p.m. ET (ESPN)

UNC is getting star receiver Tez Walker back finally after the NCAA had ruled him ineligible, and Drake Maye will look to get reacclimated with Walker against a Syracuse team licking some wounds after a loss to Clemson. This game may very well come down to whether the Orange can keep up offensively as a team that can’t throw the ball very well, as UNC will look to open it up with their offense back at full strength.

Purdue (+2.5) at Iowa, 3:30 p.m. ET (Peacock)

We’ve been talking a lot about games that could see lots of points, so I always like to present my defensive-minded friends with an alternative. This week, it’d be hard to find a better option than Purdue’s visit to Iowa City, where Deacon Hill will be starting for the Hawkeyes after Cade McNamara’s injury a week ago. Hill is a very large man with a big arm that isn’t the most accurate, and it’ll be fascinating to see how he fares after a full week of practice against a Purdue team that is feeling good after finally getting a big win over Illinois last week.

UCF (-1.5) at Kansas, 4:00 p.m. ET (FOX)

Unfortunately there’s no Jalon Daniels in this game, as he remains out with an injury, which means we’ve got two backups going at it in Lawrence. UCF had a second half meltdown last week at home to blow a 35-7 lead to Baylor and will look to bounce back and play a full four quarters this time. This just has the feeling of a game that could get real weird and if we get duds in the 3:30 window, this could be a good one to tune into.

Colorado (-4.5) at Arizona State, 6:30 p.m. ET (Pac-12 Network)

Another Pac-12 Network game and I’m excited for angry tweets from all the new Colorado fans that are unable to find this one. From a football standpoint, this is a game the Buffs have to win, as Arizona State is bad bad and this will be as good of an opportunity as Colorado has to get a comfortable Pac-12 win this season. As for the Sun Devils, they know the attention that will be on this game (even on a network no one gets) and I’d expect them to bring their best, it’s just a matter of whether that’s good enough to be competitive.

Kentucky (+14.5) at Georgia, 7:00 p.m. ET (ESPN)

Kentucky smoked Florida at home last week and Georgia looked rough on the road against Auburn in a win. This one’s in Athens, though, and we’ll see if the Wildcats offensive line can hold up in a hostile atmosphere. If they can, Ray Davis is a special kind of back, Kentucky’s been sneaky explosive in the pass game, and there’s a chance they could make this real interesting for the defending back-to-back champs. Carson Beck really needs a big game against good competition at some point, and I’d expect them to take their fourth quarter strategy of “get the ball to Brock Bowers” and lean on that a bit earlier this time around.

Notre Dame (-6) at Louisville, 7:30 p.m. ET (ABC)

The Irish escaped at Duke last week and now go to another ACC team that’s looked better than expected in Louisville. The Cardinals didn’t look great in a win at NC State and the offense will have its hands full with this Notre Dame defense. The big question for me is whether the Irish finally turn Sam Hartman loose, as he’s looked great in two-minute drill type settings and pretty mediocre otherwise the last couple weeks.

Michigan (-18.5) at Minnesota, 7:30 p.m. ET (NBC)

Michigan should roll in this one, but conference road games don’t always go according to plan. JJ McCarthy hasn’t been great to start this year and could use a statement performance, and the Gophers are a team in a bit of a spiral right now after blowing a lead to Northwestern of all teams a couple weeks back. We’ll see if they can get up for this one and turn in a great performance to keep it close or if the Wolverines will just lean on them and run away in the second half.

Arkansas (+11.5) at Ole Miss, 7:30 p.m. ET (SEC Network)

Ole Miss games just get weird. Aside from the Alabama game where they laid an egg, every single week they seemingly find themselves in a tight game in the second half where they somehow pull out a win (and a cover). This week they face an Arkansas team that’s been all over the place this year, beating LSU but losing to BYU and Texas A&M. We’ll see which Hogs team shows up this week, but I’d expect some real shenanigans in Oxford.

Texas Tech (-1.5) at Baylor, 8:00 p.m. ET (ESPN2)

Texas Tech cannot win close games for the life of them and it’s the oddest thing to watch. This game figures to be close with Baylor, as evidenced by a 1.5-point spread, and I will be fascinated to see if they can finally close out a competitive game or not.

Fresno State (-5.5) at Wyoming, 8:00 p.m. ET (FOX)

Fresno State’s really good, but playing in Laramie is always difficult. The Cowboys are frisky and this might be one of the best tests the Bulldogs get in the Mountain West this season.

Arizona (+21.5) at USC, 10:30 p.m. ET (ESPN)

Can USC’s defense stop anyone? When will it matter that they cannot? Everyone is just waiting for the Trojans’ woeful defensive performances to catch up to them, but it’s not supposed to be here. That said, the Wildcats can be frisky and any chance to watch Caleb Williams try and score enough points even USC’s defense can’t give up the lead is fun.

Taylor Swift’s Delicious Cookie Recipe Is Returning To The Spotlight Ahead Of ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)’

Windows swung right open, autumn air, cookie recipe is yours.

Back when she regularly posted on Tumblr, Taylor Swift shared the recipe for her now-infamous chai sugar cookies with cinnamon eggnog. “If you want to make the cookies from scratch (that’s what I did for the 1989 Secret Sessions), you can use this recipe I found on a baking blog I like,” she wrote before revealing her spin on the dessert. “I added the chai element to the recipe because I thought it would infuse cozy holiday vibez into the cookie and it really did.” It hits different, in modern (and Taylor-endorsed) parlance.

With 1989 (Taylor’s Version) — no secret sessions this time — coming out this month and cozy, red scarf-wearing weather around the corner, now’s a good time to make Swift’s cookies, with a recipe assist from Joy the Baker.

Here’s what you need from the original recipe:

1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, at room temperature
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup granulated sugar, plus extra sugar for topping
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 large egg
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt

To make it Sugar Cookies (Taylor’s Version), you also need to buy one packet of chai tea, another cup of powdered sugar, 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg, 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon, and enough eggnog or milk for three tablespoons (or “TAYblespoons,” as she wrote with enough self-awareness to refer to herself as “so annoying, it astounds me sometimes”).

As per Taylor’s handwritten instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees

2. Grease the cookie sheet

3. Beat together the butter and vegetable oil, then add the granulated sugar, powdered sugar, egg, and vanilla

4. Stir in the flour, baking soda, salt, and chai tea

5. Put the cookie dough in the fridge to chill for approximately an hour

6. Line the greased cookie sheet with 12 tablespoon “dough drops”

7. Press evenly and cover with sugar

8. Cook for “9-ish” minutes (love you, Taylor, but no recipe should have an “-ish”; exactly nine minutes will do)

Once the cookies have finished baking, mix together the powdered sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, and eggnog in a bowl and spread the icing on top. Add an extra dash of cinnamon, and you’re all set. If it all goes well, they’ll look like they do here. It feels like a perfect night to make cookies at midnight, so enjoy!

‘Gen V’ Only Had One Bit Of ‘Bad’ News This Week (For Those Waiting To See Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s Mystery ‘The Boys’ Role)

Supernatural devotees were not upset to learn that Jeffrey Dean Morgan will finally (at least, after Jensen Ackles did) reteam with The Boys showrunner Eric Kripke. Details of Morgan’s role on the Supe-skewering show have been kept under wraps, other than knowing that it will be profane and that Karl Urban couldn’t resist letting a picture slip out into the ether. There has been plenty of speculation about the mystery role, of course, and a contingent of fans hoped that Morgan would portray Tek Knight, an old-school Payback character who parodies both Marvel’s Iron Man and DC’s Batman.

Well, this week’s episode of Gen V was written by Jessica Chou (who also penned the infamous “Herogasm” episode of The Boys), who gave us another whale of an episode that was full of wtf moments and one bit of bad news (much worse news than seeing someone’s dong explode because that guy deserved it.)

JDM will apparently not be portraying the sexually obsessed Tek Knight on The Boys. He might be playing another sexually obsessed character, who knows? Yet unless they’ve got two actors playing the same character (not likely), this franchise chose to go with Derek Wilson, who hosts a show-within-a-show, The Whole Truth With Tek Knight. Additionally, Tek Knight is still sexually inappropriate and likes “holes” and, on that note, bagels.

Tek Knight Gen V
Amazon

In this spinoff, Tek Knight ends up dragging America’s true-crime obsession as entertainment through his pursuit of the reason why Golden Boy took himself out. It’s a role that I could also see Jensen Ackles pulling off, if he wasn’t already playing Soldier Boy in both shows.

So, who does JDM portray on The Boys? We still don’t know. However, Nathan Mitchell, who has been in the Black Noir suit (until that thing happened), previously confirmed that Morgan will be filling some “badass” shoes. Additionally, Morgan sidestepped a question from Men’s Health but did agree with The Mary Sue’s sentiment that he could make the show even “filthier.” Also, The Boys social media team posted a janky photoshop to throw everyone off base, so in other words, no one is telling yet.

Amazon’s Gen V streams new episodes on Fridays. The Boys Season 4 release date is still pending an announcement.
