Blink-182 Dresses Up As The Ramones For Their Fun ‘Dance With Me’ Video

Blink-182 is preparing for the release of their new album One More Time… arriving later this month. So far, they’ve shared “Edging” and “One More Time,” and now they’re back with the new single and video “Dance With Me.”

In the video, they’re dressed up as The Ramones. It kicks off with a mock interview, in which Mark Hoppus gives his definition of punk: “Punk is doing what you think is right on your own terms and not answering to anybody else and not letting people tell you how you should live your life.” They don’t hesitate to rock out; the clamorous song is as fun as it is loud, and the lyrics are as chaotic as the sound: “I’ve been waiting around to lose / So dumb, trying to make believe / You’re mine, what are you gonna do / Come here, do you want to come dance with me?”

One More Time… is highly anticipated, considering it has Tom DeLonge for the first time since he left the band in 2015. Upon his return, he posted on Instagram, “What if I was to tell you we just made the best album of our career.”

Watch the video for “Dance With Me” above.

One More Time… is out 10/20 via Columbia. Find more information here.

The WNBA Officially Announced An Expansion Team In The Bay Area That Will Start Playing In 2025

On Thursday, the WNBA confirmed reports that the Bay Area was getting an expansion franchise in 2025, officially announcing the WNBA Golden State franchise on Twitter, with a press conference to follow.

The franchise will play at the Chase Center in San Francisco, which is the recently built home of the NBA’s Golden State Warriors, and will give the league 13 teams, although the expectation is for a second expansion team to be announced in the coming months to bring the total back to an even number at 14 squads. The team will be operated by the Warriors ownership group.

As for where that second team will be located, Howard Megdal of The Next reports Portland is expected to be named as the other expansion location. Fans have been asking for expansion franchises for years, and with the recent growth of the league and more interest in ownership opportunities, the league finally chose 2025 as the year to expand. By adding teams in cities that already have an NBA presence, they mitigate some of the cost and logistics issues of launching a new team as there is already an arena in place to host games — which allows those teams to get going in just two years time.

Mxmtoon Announced A Reimagined Version Of Her ‘Plum Blossom’ Project With A New Take Of ‘Feelings Are Fatal’

Around the release of her Rising album in early 2022, Mxmtoon reflected on her initial success in music. “It’s terrifying when someone becomes so much bigger than you ever imagine, especially when you’re just a teenager,” she told Uproxx at the time. “I felt so vulnerable having millions of people critiquing, complimenting, or criticizing me for art I had just made in my own bedroom when I was 17. It was simultaneously very exciting and also scary.”

Mxmtoon is revisiting those formative releases in a more literal sense with Plum Blossom (Revisited), which is described in a press release as “a reconsideration of the early songs that propelled her to fame.” The first offering from the EP, due out on November 10, is “Feelings Are Fatal (Revisited).”

“A lot of change happens over the course of five years, and that’s especially true when you go from being a teenager to an adult within that space,” Mxmtoon said in a statement. “I released my first EP when I was eighteen, and Plum Blossom was comprised of songs I wrote when I was seventeen. I didn’t have the tools or vocabulary to effectively get every idea I had in my head into song at that point, so the music I was making never quite made it into the form I had envisioned.”

She continued, “Now, at twenty-three, I’m so grateful to say I do have the resources to make those dreams come true for my younger self. To honor and thank her for being brave enough to even make art in the first place, and make her songs shine the way she always wanted them to. Plum Blossom (Revisited) is my way of paying homage to where I started from, to thank everyone who’s grown up with me over the last five years, and encourage people not to shy away from embracing our younger selves.”

The Oakland-bred artist shared more about the project on X (formerly known as Twitter):

The press release also confirms that another full-length album from Mxmtoon is “on the horizon in 2024.” For now, though, listen to “Feelings Are Fatal (Revisited)” above.

Plum Blossom (Revisited) is out 11/10 via AWAL. Find more information here.

What To Watch: Our Picks For The TV Shows And Movies We Think You Should Stream This Week

Each week our staff of film and TV experts surveys the entertainment landscape to select the ten best new/newish shows available for you to stream at home. We put a lot of thought into our selections, and our debates on what to include and what not to include can sometimes get a little heated and feelings may get hurt, but so be it, this is an important service for you, our readers. With that said, here are our selections for this week.

20. The Changeling (Apple TV Plus)

CHANGELING
APPLE

LaKeith Stanfield heads into the horror realm in this adaptation of Victor LaValle’s acclaimed novel. The show promises to be a grown-up fairytale begins in a New York City library and heads into a version of the Big Apple that usually remains closed from human eyes. It’s also a parenthood fable, and yes, it truly feels like the scariest horror stories often revolve around kids, whether they happen to be good or evil. Given Stanfield’s ability to showcase the surreal in various other projects, one can bet that this quality adds to the spooks in this series.

19. Solar Opposites (Hulu)

hulu solar
hulu

Solar Opposites is, in a sense, two shows for the price of one. What a deal! One show is the alien adventures of Korvo (now voiced by Dan Stevens), Terry, Jesse, Yumyulack, and the Pupa, the cutest lil’ guy on television. The other show takes place in The Wall, where humans have been shrunk down and held hostage inside a terrarium. Both are very funny, very weird, and very good. Solar Opposites doesn’t get as much attention as Rick and Morty, but it should.

Watch it on Hulu

18. Invasion (Apple TV Plus)

invasion
APPLE

This intense story, set over several continents, brings us crop circles galore and civilization’s collapse while humanity struggles to pull it together during (as the title suggests) an alien invasion. Naturally, there is a sheriff who gets pulled back from the verge of retirement as soldiers, mission controllers, and civilians everywhere lend their perspectives in this series from Simon Kinberg (several X-Men movies) and David Weil (Citadel, Hunters). The show is back for a second season while the world still struggles to figure what, exactly, is happening in real-time.

17. Archer (Hulu)

ARCHER
FX

The world has been trying to leave Sterling Archer behind for years and years with hilarious results as the spy and his associates have navigated land, sea, and air (and space), often stumbling into calamity while chasing adventure. But now, in its 14th season, the series, with all its ambition and wit, has reached its climax (yes, we are still doing phrasing) and we are here for it, specifically, the final bows of one of the greatest voice casts ever assembled. How will it all end? We can’t wait to find out, but regardless, Archer’s place as one of the best comedies of this century is assured.

16. Harley Quinn (Max)

harley quinn

Even though there’s been a lot of upheaval at HBO Max/Max and even more so for films and TV shows starring DC characters, at least one supervillainess is safe. Miss Harley (who does not need the Joker for success) was almost pointedly renewed as a clattering of show cancellations and removals swirled. Heck, Kaley Cuoco’s voice even gave us the only Valentine’s Day special worth watching this year. Soon, we might find out whether Bane is still making love to a skyscraper as Harley attempts to get in good with the Bat Family. Quite a contrast there.

15. American Horror Story: Delicate (Hulu)

AHS
FX

Ryan Murphy’s sick, twisted horror anthology has been a bit of a mixed bag over the years but if there’s anything that can unite the binge-watching masses this Fall it’s Kim Kardashian – first-time actor, lifelong lover of the arts. Kris Jenner’s prodigy is playing a supporting role in this season’s storyline, which can be best summed up as the millennial version of Rosemary’s Baby, while Emma Roberts plays an actress who becomes pregnant and begins to fear that someone (or something) is after her. Demonic symbolism, “hysterical” women, and off-putting wigs – everything you’d expect from a Murphy fright night production is here, it’s just all that much more surreal with Kardashian in the mix.

14. The Golden Bachelor (Hulu)

BACH
ABC

What we have on our hands here is a Bachelor spinoff about an older gentleman looking for love from a group of similarly aged ladies. Which is… honestly kind of adorable. Good for them. And good for us, too, especially if one of the episodes features a date where they eat dinner at a diner at 4:45 and then go watch an episode of Columbo in matching recliners. This was written as a joke but honestly sounds kind of wonderful. That’s true love right there, people.

13. The Other Black Girl (Hulu)

OTHER
HULU

Seriously, watch this trailer. This is not a fluffy little comedy. Rashida Jones executive produces this adaptation of Zakiya Dalila Harris’ NYT best-selling novel about an editorial assistant is who is overjoyed to no longer be the “only Black girl” at her work place. However, the novelty of newcomer Hazel quickly fades when it becomes apparent that sinister vibes are going down. Spooooky.

12. The Morning Show (Apple TV Plus)

MORNING
APPLE

Is The Morning Show the best drama on TV in a world absent Better Call Saul and Succession? It might be in the running, but it’s definitely the dramaest drama on TV, leaning on its star power to cut through moments that might be eye-roll-inducing if you weren’t so captivated by the screen presence of Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Billy Crudup, and Jon Hamm, who joins this season as a handsome version of Elon Musk. Backstabbing, front-stabbing, walk and talks, politics, high tension, and ripped-from-the-headlines storylines all come together, yet again, with our news and media power players moving more fully toward the game of mergers, acquisitions, and boardroom battles where the real prizes can be found.

11. The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon (AMC Plus)

Daryl Dixon The Walking Dead Spinoff
Emmanuel Guimier/AMC

The only “solo” spinoff of AMC’s post-apocalyptic world is upon us. Daryl is most entertaining character to send to France, and he’s also the least religious of the bunch, which makes it awfully funny to see him hanging with a bunch of nuns after waking up in France like “WTF?” Most of all, though, Daryl earns his “Big Ass Kicker” nickname and we also get a lovely character study of the most loyal and industrious survivor of Rick’s old bunch. The action also delivers, so get ready for crossbows and total chaos at Parisian landmarks. Pssst, we also chose the most essential to watch before this spinoff.

10. Naked Attraction (Max)

Naked Attraction is a lot like every other dating show. Except for the part where the contestants barely meet each other. And the part where someone chooses a mate based almost entirely on comparing their nude body to a bunch of other also-nude bodies. And the part where there are just a ton of exposed dongs. So… maybe it’s not like the other dating shows you’ve seen. But it sure does exist. Go there now and look if you don’t believe us.

9. Krapopolis (Hulu)

Dan Harmon’s long-gestating cartoon take on Ancient Greece is here. He’s had big success in the world of animation before with both Solar Opposites and Rick and Morty, so there’s reason for optimism even if the reviews of the first few episodes are a little dicey. You have time. Don’t pretend like you don’t. You’re not fooling anyone, Derek. (This works better if your name is Derek.)

8. Sex Education (Netflix)

SEXED
NETFLIX

The horniest kids in Britain are back and ready to go out with a bang – a lot of banging, actually. The fourth season of this Netflix comedy is set to be its last, but before the goodbyes Otis, Eric, Maeve, Aimee, and the rest of the students from Moordale have some growing up to do. While Maeva studies under an eccentric author in America (hello Dan Levy), Otis and Eric struggle to climb the social hierarchy of their new school – one that’s so progressive, they’ve already filled his position of “student sex therapist.”

7. Lupin (Netflix)

Could this be the season for one last job? The Gentleman Thief returns with Assane in hiding but not for long. He comes back to Paris and proposes a new plan for his family, but of course, the police and Assane’s enemies make this much easier said than done. At least he’ll look stylish as hell while dealing with past ghosts and, of course, heisting.

6. Boogeyman (Hulu)

BOOGEY
HULU

This 2023 movie goes back to the 1973 short story by Stephen King as the perfect streaming lead-in to nightmares about Halloween season. This is not a true tale, but perhaps thinking of it that way can increase the terror. The story explores the enduring Boogeyman/Bogeyman folklore that has persisted around the globe for centuries. We’ve got a distracted father not paying enough attention to a pair of sisters, who begin to experience horrors that could trigger any lingering fears you’ve ever had about monsters lurking in your bedroom closet. The cast includes Sophie Thatcher, David Dastmalchian, and Chris Messina.

5. The Mill (Hulu)

HULU

Well, guess what: Spooky season is here and, with it, a whole bunch of creepy horror-adjacent things to watch. Like, for example, this one, starring Lil Rel Howery and described thusly by Hulu: “A businessman mysteriously wakes up in an open-air prison cell with only an old grist mill. Forced to work as a beast of burden, he must find a way to escape before the birth of his child.” We’ve all been there, you know?

4. Gen V (Amazon Prime)

Come for the dong jokes, and stay for the dong jokes. Much like The Boys, this spinoff does not skim on the raunch, and it also gives us a whole new roster of Supes who might feel differently about Vought International’s motives. This series seemingly pulls off the impossible by managing to be as appealing as the flagship series without the presence of its most shining and degraded beacon, Homelander. This franchise shows no sign of wearing out or fatiguing its audience as both the MCU and DCU have managed to do, which might be the most heroic feat of all in the present entertainment realm.

Watch it on Amazon

3. Loki (Disney Plus)

LOKI
DISNEY

When we last left Loki, the title character (Tom Hiddleston) had traveled to an alternate version of the Time Variance Authority where no one remembers him and there are statues of Kang (Jonathan Majors) everywhere. This second season picks up where we left off, only Loki soon discovers he’s being thrust back and forth not to an alternate timeline, but the past and present of his current timeline. Seeking the help of the present-day Mobius (Owen Wilson, the past’s version doesn’t know Loki) the two seek out Ke Huy Quan’ Ouroboros (or OB for short), a fellow who has been around a long time and seems to know how to do everything, to stop Loki from doing these involuntary jumps back and forth through time.

Also, Loki and Mobius are charged with finding one of Kang’s variants, for reasons that are too complicated to explain here. So the pair travel to 19th-century Chicago to find an inventor and con man named Victor Timely. The problem is other people with the ability to jump through time are also after Timely and his fate has repercussions on multiple timelines.

This show is a lot, which is by design, but it’s still a lot. The first season played as good fun, and this second season is also fun, though maybe just a little less so (at least through four episodes), but while watching it’s hard to forget the real world where one of the main cast members is on trial for assault.

Watch it on Disney Plus

2. No One Will Save You (Hulu)

SAVE
HULU

Kaitlyn Dever has been killing it since her Justified days (Team Loretta), and her Dopesick, Unbelievable, and Booksmart performances sealed the deal. Here, she stays nearly silent — much harder than it sounds, once you see what she goes through — in this story that puts an extraterrestrial twist on home-invasion horror. Before you watch, be sure to pull those blinds and double lock those doors because you’re in for a hell of a good-scary time

Jimmy Kimmel Wanted To Know How Often Trump Rage-Throws Food At Walls And Cassidy Hutchinson Delivered: ‘Once Or Twice A Week, Sometimes More’

Former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday, and the late night was naturally thrilled at the prospect of learning inside details about Donald Trump. Namely, the former president’s infamous habit of throwing food against the wall in a fight of rage. To Kimmel’s delight, Hutchinson revealed that it was a frequent occurrence and nothing in reach was safe from Trump’s temper.

“Sometimes it would happen once or twice a week, sometimes more,” Hutchinson shared via Rolling Stone. “Sometimes there’d be a week or so lull, but then there would be a bad news story. But it wasn’t just launching the food and the plates and the porcelain at the wall. It was sometimes just flipping the tablecloth.”

Naturally, the conversation steered towards ketchup, which Trump has a well-known habit of putting on everything, which often left the condiment smeared on the walls during one of his fits. Again, to Kimmel’s fascination, Hutchinson shared another new detail about Trump’s weird food habits.

“He does have a very potent fear of being poisoned,” Hutchinson said via Mediaite. “So he uses and prefers the small Heinz glass bottles because he likes to hear his valet, whoever is serving him this meal, he likes to hear the pop.”

“Really? That’s why? I thought his hands were so little. It seemed like like a real ketchup bottle,” Kimmel quipped. “It’s for poisoning, huh? Do you think he’s got this fear of being poisoned from all the ex-wives?”

When Hutchinson suggested maybe Trump is afraid of Russia, Kimmel laughingly shot down that idea. “I don’t think Russia’s poisoning him.”

Who Is Sugarhill Ddot? Here’s What To Know About The New York Rapper

Drill music appears to be the contemporary sound of New York. It has appeal from 30-year-olds like Fivio Foreign to 15-year-olds like rising sensation Sugarhill Ddot. The latter is part of a new wave of young talent advancing the bubbling subgenre and expanding its reach far beyond the five boroughs, backed by the recently relaunched and revamped Priority Records.

Who Is Sugarhill Ddot?

SugarHill Ddot’s real name is Darrian Jimenez, and as his name suggests, he hails from Harlem’s Sugar Hill neighborhood, which famously held a key position in the advancements of both jazz and, decades later, hip-hop.

Ddot naturally started rapping at a young age, garnering profiles as early as last year before his 15th birthday. His musical calling card so far appears to be the single “Let Ha Go,” which dropped in April and has since accumulated 10 million-plus views on YouTube.

More recently, he teamed up with fellow teen sensation Luh Tyler for the Nicki Minaj-sampling dance anthem “3am In The Yams.”

He regularly shouts out Notti Osama, a close friend who was lost to gang violence, in his songs and is also closely associated with another emerging drill artist, DD Osama. The Harlem rapper has also apparently received co-signs from both Drake and Lil Durk, and is a fixture of YouTube podcasts and performance shows — which just means he’s likely only going to get more popular as he continues to work.

Seth Meyers Cannot Stop Laughing Over How ‘Insane’ It Is That Republicans Are Considering ‘A Person Who Is, In Fact, Insane’ (Donald Trump) To Be The New House Speaker

With Kevin McCarthy now ousted as Speaker of the House thanks to Matt Gaetz and his chaotic band of fringe congress members, the Republican party has found a possible replacement for McCarthy who is both a nonsensical, yet entirely predictable choice: Donald Trump.

Despite a litany of legal problems, Trump’s name is already being aggressively floated as McCarthy’s successor by right-wing media. Even more terrifying, the former president is reportedly open to the idea, and Seth Meyers can’t believe all of this helping. During his Wednesday night episode, the late night host went to town on what making Trump the Speaker of the House says about the current state of the Republican party.

“Because you have to be insane to actually want this job, some Republicans are floating the name of a person who is, in fact, insane,” Meyers said before mocking Sean Hannity for citing a “source” that is clearly Trump. “Incredible. Only the Republicans would consider giving the job of Speaker to someone who is under a gag order. It’s like hiring a French mime as your new NFL play-by-play guy.”

“But this perfectly sums up the current state of the Republican party,” Meyers continued. “Usually when someone is in court, they have to call a friend to ask for help. In this case, he’s calling from court to offer it. ‘Sean, tell your viewers I’m willing to do it. Hold on, the bailiff is gonna take the phone away.’”

Meyers then roasted Newsmax for trying to subtly float Trump for the House Speaker job by noting that whoever takes the job doesn’t have to be a member of Congress. It could be anybody, “maybe rhymes with Trump.”

“Oh, it rhymes with Trump?” Meyers quipped. “Please tell me it’s one of the Klumps!”

Here’s A List Of Drake’s Beloved Timestamp Songs

There’s a grouping of songs in Drake’s discography known as “timestamp songs.” These tracks all have one thing in common: Their titles include a time and a location. Here’s a list of all the timestamp songs Drake has release so far and a little bit about each.

“9AM In Dallas”

The first of the timestamp songs, this one came out in 2010, shortly before the release of Thank Me Later. The Boi-1da-produced track was apparently recorded the day the rest of the album was being mastered, so despite him wanting it to be the album’s intro, that didn’t end up working out.

“5AM In Toronto”

Like its predecessor, “9AM In Dallas” was released during the lead-up to an album, this time Nothing Was The Same. Notably, this one has lyrics that are believed to be about beef with The Weeknd: “‘Cause I show love, never get the same outta n****s / Guess it’s funny how money can make change outta n****s.”

“6PM In New York”

This one appeared on If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late and it’s pretty clearly sees Drake going after Tyga: “I heard a lil, lil homie talking reckless in Vibe / That’s quite a platform you chose, you should’ve kept it inside / Oh, you tried? It’s so childish calling my name on the world stage / You need to act your age and not your girl’s age.”

“4PM In Calabasas”

Continuing to use the timestamp songs as a diss platform on 2016’s “4PM In Calabasas.” Among the targets is Joe Budden: “I thought we looked out for one another / Saw us all as brothers in the struggle, too blessed to be humble / I guess it’s different in the city I come from / All the sudden, I got people showing how much they truly resent me / They whole demeanor just spells envy, they tryna tempt me.”

“7AM On Bridle Path”

On Certified Lover Boy cut “7AM On Bridle Path,” it’s pretty clear Drake’s going after Kanye West. There are too many examples to exhaustively list here, as lines that seemingly take aim at West are peppered throughout the verse.

“8AM In Charlotte”

And now we have the latest timestamp song, this morning’s “8AM In Charlotte.” It currently remains to be seen if the track will appear on the upcoming album For All The Dogs, but either way, there’s speculation that the track again sees Drake putting Kanye in his crosshairs.

Who Did Drake Diss On ‘8AM In Charlotte?’

At midnight (October 6), Drake will finally deliver his For All The Dogs album. (He’s supposed to, anyway.) He has already released “Slime You Out” featuring SZA, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and warned an ex-lover, “I’m slimin’ you for them kid choices you made.” But “8AM In Charlotte” might be taking more acute aim at someone.

The new song arrived early Thursday, October 5, exclusively on Drake’s Instagram page. Throughout, Drake name-drops the likes of 21 Savage (his It’s All A Blur Tour co-headliner), Central Cee, Shania Twain, T.D. Jakes, and Lauryn Hill, but it’s all in a playful light. In fact, there aren’t any explicit disses at all, but fans have a theory that the third verse is a veiled shot at Kanye West.

“Conspiracy theories start floatin’ ’round like the Kennedy guy,” Drake raps. “I’ll prolly hold a grudge against you guys ’til I’m seventy-five / Ayy, n****s lyin’ for a livin’, I couldn’t relate / We all gotta lay in the bed we make, but that couldn’t be Drake / You forced a lot of fake love when real ones stood in your face / That’s why you got deserted by your n****s like puddin’ and cake / I got you on camera bowin’ down, but the footage is safe / Thank God, another USB to put in the safe.”

On X (formerly known as Twitter), people have correlated these bars to a video of Drake bowing down to Ye after bringing him out as a guest during his Summer Sixteen Tour. There’s also the outside chance that the mention of “conspiracy theories” and “lyin’ for a livin’” is related to his beef with Pusha T and Ye that crescendoed in 2018 with the public reveal of Drake’s son, Adonis. (Is it a coincidence that the “8AM In Charlotte” video stars Adonis?)

At any rate, Lil Yachty teased that Drake “deals with some controversial things” across For All The Dogs, and “8AM In Charlotte” might fall under that umbrella.

For All The Dogs is out 10/6 via OVO Sound. Find more information here.

Are Ariana Grande And Ethan Slater Living Together?

Ariana Grande made a lot of headlines earlier this year when she separated from her husband Dalton Gomez and reportedly began dating her Wicked co-star Ethan Slater. It was quite the scoop considering Slater had a wife of ten years. There is now a new update on the supposed couple.

According to US Magazine, Grande and Slater are now living together. “Ethan informed his friends and soon-to-be ex-wife [Lilly Jay] that he’s living with Ariana full-time in New York,” an insider told the publication.

“They’re really happy and really good for each other,” the source added. “All of her friends love him.”

Grande reportedly filed for divorce from Gomez on September 18. Back in July, a source told TMZ about the problems between the two. “When Covid restrictions lifted, we’re told their differences became alarmingly apparent. Dalton, an LA realtor, was taken aback by Ariana’s celebrity. He had not dealt with her schedule, the paparazzi and the various opportunities that took her out of LA,” they said. “We’re told Dalton would sometimes question why they needed to go around town with security, something that was a must for Ariana. Their differences started to make the marriage unravel, and it was greatly exacerbated when she went to England last December to begin filming Wicked.”
