HBO’s Industry rather quietly toiled away in an addictively sudsy finance-land for the show’s first two seasons before word of mouth grew throughout the third season. That might have been a surprise even for showrunners Mickey Down and Konrad Kay, so it’s easy to see why they opted to dissolve Pierpoint in the third season finale, which could have doubled as a series finale.

Now, the unexpected demand for a fourth season and subsequent renewal also leaves the rising series in an exciting place amid the wreckage of all that the hot go-getters aspired to during the show’s early episodes. Let’s see where the pieces have landed, who will be back for the fourth season, and what else to expect when Industry returns.

Cast

Most of this series’ fan favorite actors will return for the fourth season. They include Myha’la (as Harper Stern) and Marisa Abela (as Yasmin), and we shall see if that reignited (yet still fragile) friendship holds for longer than Harper’s attendance at Yasmin’s wedding to Kit Harinton’s Sir Henry Muck. Speaking of which, how on earth will that marriage last? Carefully. More good news can be found in the return of Ken Leung as Eric Tao, who could have easily been jettisoned after Pierpoint’s shuttering, but he’s just too damn valuable to this show. Sagar Radia will also be back as chaotic Rishi Ramdani, whose personal life was delivering as much chaos as his professional one when the third season ended. And Miriam Petche will also be back as Sweetpea Golighty.

Who won’t be back? Harry Lawtey has made his last deal as the pure-hearted Rob Spearing, who left off while wheeling and dealing in Silicon Valley for Little Labs. Deadline reported that Lawtey’s “scheduling conflicts” were responsible for his departure, but Down and Kay also told The Wrap that Rob’s story had also reached a fitting stopping point. Both reasons can and probably are true.

Additionally plethora of new names are joining the cast, according to Variety:

– Jack Farthing as Edward Smith, a “troublemaker and long-time friend of Henry’s” (uh oh)

– Kal Penn as Jay Jonah Atterbury, “CEO and founder of payment processor Tender”

– Kiernan Shipka as Hayley Clay, an “executive assistant” at Tender

– Charlie Heaton as Jim Dycker, “a finance journalist”

– Toheeb Jimoh as Kwabena Bannerman, a “trader at Mostyn Asset Management”

– Amy James-Kelly as Jennifer Bevan, a “newly promoted Minister in the Labour government”

– Claire Forlani as Cordelia Hanani-Spyrka, a “corporate PR heavy-hitter”

Unconfirmed: Jay Duplass’ Jesse Bloom was revealed to have left prison, but HBO hasn’t revealed whether the character will appear onscreen this season. Also, Gus fans are discouraged from getting their hopes up, since no news has arrived of the very in-demand David Jonsson in relation to Industry.

Plot

Far less is known about the plot with Mickey Down and Konrad Kay keeping a lid on things. We can make some guesses, however, based upon where various characters ended the most recent finale.

Harper has joined forces with hedge-funder Otto Mostyn (Roger Barclay), and circumstances suggested that she could return to her New York home base. Mickey Down, however, appeared to pour cold water on this idea in an interview with GQ, in which the co-creator called Industry “an American-effected show,” partially because it “follows several American characters.” However, Down added, “There is something about London and, especially in the last season, our exploration of London, and in particular London high society, which I think is unique to this show and I would hate to lose.”

What shall happen to Eric next? He officially ended the last season finale as a free agent, although he did hit up Harper with a semi-serious (?) inquiry for work before dropping the subject, so that door has been left open.

As for where Yasmin and Henry will end up, it seems unlikely that they can avoid the bad kind of fireworks for long, especially since Yasmin didn’t even seem to love Henry, who appeared to view her solely as an acquisition. Marisa Abela, for her part, shared to Deadline, “I think that the only people that know Yasmin … the real Yasmin, are the audience now, and that’s just a really exciting place to be.”

And Rishi? God only knows, but Diana’s death almost got pulled from the show during production, but now, followup will be hell for him.

Release Date

Industry generally returns after two years, so Summer 2026? Sounds perfectly doable.

Since no trailer exists, and Eric has certainly been going through some stuff, there’s no time like now to rewatch Ken Leung losing his sh*t.

After a nearly decade-long hiatus, in 2019 Little Brother reunited for their studio album, May The Lord Watch. But it appears Little Brother’s time together has come to an end–yet again.

Today (April 7), Little Brother announced their Curtain Call: The Final Tour. As the title suggests, the 12-city string of shows will serve as Little Brother’s last tour. Over on X (former Twitter), Little Brother’s Big Pooh seemingly confirmed their indefinite hiatus.

“Because we completed the mission,” he wrote when questioned about the group’s decision to hang things up.

When asked if Little Brother would drop a final album, Big Pooh replied: “No album. Just the tour.”

Little Brother’s Curtain Call: The Final Tour poster

Festival season is in full swing as showcases near and far open their doors for music fans to see their favorite artists live in concert. A great festival is contingent on a great lineup, but that isn’t limited to its cast of artists. A great food lineup can take a festival from great to unforgettable, but with so many options to chose from, it can be hard to know which items are most worth your money.

That’s where we come in. This past weekend, the Uproxx crew was at the 2025 Dreamville Festival where we sampled a bunch of food throughout the festival grounds — specifically from local establishments in and around Raleigh, that way you can continue to enjoy them when this year’s Dreamville Festival comes to an end.

Pure Soul

The 2025 Dreamville Festival delivered plenty of options for vegan and vegetarian attendees. One of the best we tried came from the Pure Soul food truck. Based in Durham, North Carolina, Pure Soul prides itself on creating a “vegan fast-food experience that offers kindness and cleanliness in creating savory soul food.” That’s exactly what was available as the food truck offered options ranging from vegan chicken sandwiches to vegan burgers. We opted for the TK which you can see in the photo above. If you’re in Durham, make sure to stop by Pure Soul to find some great vegan soul food options.

Buoy Bowls

If you wanted to keep things healthy during your festival weekend, Buoy Bowls had a great selection of açaí bowls and smoothies. We went with The Playa Bowl which is a blend of organic açaí, bananas, strawberries, and apple juice with organic hemp granola, bananas, strawberries, blueberries, and organic raw honey. This açaí bowl was a refreshing bite for the middle of the festival with temps in the 80s and an added dose of humidity to make things a bit worse. This is mainly thanks to the sweet and savory blend of açaí and honey-soaked granola. Buoy Bowls is based in Apex, North Carolina, which is about 20 minutes from Raleigh. So if you’re ever in the area and in the mood for an açaí bowl, you know where to go.

Vybz Kitchen

There are few more flavorful options than Jamaican cuisine and Vybz Kitchen proved that out at Dreamville Festival. Based in Greensboro, their focus is “bringing the authentic flavors of the islands straight to your plate,” and let’s just say they achieved that with flying colors. We grabbed the jerk chicken egg roll, and with one bite, it was clear that it would make our list for favorite eats from Dreamville Festival. The jerk chicken egg roll masters the blend of seasonings, leaving your taste buds happier than ever. Aside from the jerk chicken egg roll option, the Vybz Kitchen stand also provided cheesesteak egg rolls, jerk chicken, and chicken tenders as options at the festival, leaving people with plenty to pick from.

Chirba Chirba Dumpling

Dumplings may not be the first-to-mind option when you’re looking for food at a music festival, but Chirba Chirba Dumpling were a pleasant surprise. We sampled Chirba’s Bok 2 The Future veggie dumplings (great name), Juicy Buns pork dumplings, and chicken mini bites that were tossed in chili oil and they were 3-for-3. My personal favorite with the Juicy Buns which tasted like chicken noodle soup with a splash of pork.

Same O Dame O’s

Last and certainly not least, we have Same O Dame O’s food truck. With their home base in the Raleigh/Durham area, Same O Dame O’s brought their distinct talents to Dreamville Festival with a plethora of southern comfort food options to offer festival goers. Their menu featured everything from shrimp (spicy honey and fried), fried fish, and chicken wings. Our pick was the fried fish and shrimp combo with french fries, which looked absolutely amazing. There was no stopping us from clearing the plate once we added some buffalo sauce to the mix. The Same O Dame O’s food truck doesn’t stay still, so follow their Instagram page to find out their next location.

HBO‘s third The White Lotus season was a slow burner, and although some viewers expressed frustration at the pace, that gamble apparently paid off. In less than 24 hours (as reported by HBO in a press release), 6.2 million viewers watched the 90-minute finale across all platforms. This would add up to 51% higher viewership from the second-season counterpart, and before anybody even had a chance to ask, yep, there will be a fourth season, even if the audience is heartbroken by the death of Aimee Lou Wood’s Chelsea.

This leads to wondering which character(s) could be the customary crossover(s) between creator Mike White’s anthology seasons. We can guess that Greg will still be kicking (and rich) and relocate to whatever next resort features in the series. But who else? Well, White seemed a little too eager to openly speculate upon how the Ratliff family will fare after learning that Timothy’s reputation is now in ruins. In the below video (after the 3:40 mark), White even declared, “I don’t think that Victoria is somebody who can live in poverty. I’m sure she can find some other solution.” Another wealthy husband who might take her on the next The White Lotus vacation, perhaps?

White didn’t follow up on that with confirmation of more Victoria, but nobody would be upset to see more Southern-fried Parker Posey, and her return would make sense after the audience didn’t receive the payoff of seeing how the Ratliffs reacted to Timothy’s news. Meanwhile, Sam Nivola (who portrayed the far-too-“giving” Ratliff brother, Lochlan) pointed towards another character, Zion, who also seems like a feasible option during a Variety interview:

“I think that he wants to keep the common thread extending from Tanya. The whole thing is her story as it relates to her money. If I had to guess, I’d say Nick Duvernay [who plays Belinda’s son] is gonna be the next one to come back, because he and Belinda made off with all the money.”

Yup, that happy ending for Belinda and Zion seemed too neatly tied up and leaves an opening for more destruction from Greg, who didn’t seem keen to hand over $5 million that easily before doing so. Ideally, we’ll receive more clues before the fourth season arrives, but for now, the first three The White Lotus season are available to stream on Max.

No random celebrity feud will ever top Tom Hanks and Henry Winkler, but did you know Madonna and Elton John had beef?

Over the years, he’s called her “a nightmare” and “fairground stripper,” and dismissed her theme song for Die Another Day as the “worst Bond tune ever.” There’s more, but the point is, they haven’t gotten along for some time. But the feud is over after they “buried the hatchet” while John was performing on SNL this weekend with Brandi Carlile, according to Madonna.

“We Finally Buried the Hatchet!!!” she wrote on Instagram. “I went to see @eltonjohn perform on SNL this weekend!! WOW.”

Madonna continued:

“Over the decades it hurt me to know that someone I admired so much shared his dislike of me publicly as an artist. I didn’t understand it. I was told Elton John was the musical guest on SNL and I decided to go. I needed to go backstage and confront him . When I met him, the first thing out of his mouth was, ‘Forgive Me’ and the wall between us fell down.”

They might even work together. “Then he told me had written a song for me and he wanted to collaborate. It was like everything came full circle!!” Madonna wrote, ending the post with a reference to his one of his most beloved songs: “And you can tell everybody , This is Your Song………”

Jon Hamm might have successfully shaken off Don Draper, but Apple TV+ probably isn’t shying away from Mad Men memories with the above still from Your Friends & Neighbors. The upcoming drama series has already been renewed before audiences can indulge, but Hamm is gearing up for his SNL hosting gig and has now graduated from The Morning Show (although he could still return there) into leading TV man status again.

Your Friends & Neighbors stars Hamm as Andrew Cooper, a hedge funder (arguably the modern-day equivalent of Draper selling dreams and those sentimental concoctions that could bring the occasional colleague to tears) whose personal and professional lives crumble. He then transitions into a con-artist life and starts committing (relatively) petty thievery upon his community. Since Apple TV+ is so confident that they’ve ordered up another round of Hamm-burglar, you’ll want to know when this will go down.

When Does Jon Hamm’s Your Friends & Neighbors Come Out On Apple TV+?

Apple TV+ will premiere two episodes on Friday, April 11 followed by weekly drops until May 30.

The series co-stars Amanda Peet (as Cooper’s ex-wife, Mel) and Olivia Munn, and in a panel discussion hosted by Deadline, series creator Jonathan Tropper revealed that this series began as a novel, which he set aside until it struck him that a successful TV show could be made if Hamm signed on, and that actually happened:

“The problem was I didn’t know him, so I got my agent to set up a lunch – in retrospect, it was kind of a ballsy move, but I just said, ‘Let’s do a lunch.’ I pitched him the idea, and once I saw his interest in the idea, I went home to write the pilot. At that point, you know, he became that voice in my head. That was the character.”

And the rest is television history? Perhaps, and you can judge (until the series arrives) from the trailer below.

The hip-hop community, unfortunately, has dealt with some significant losses over the past few years, including Juice WRLD, who died in 2019. The later rapper has been given his flowers time and time again since his passing, and Lil Yachty tried to do the same during a recent stop on Tyler The Creator’s Chromakopia: The World Tour. But, it didn’t go as planned.

At the Washington DC show on April 1 (as Complex notes), Yachty tried to have a moment of silence for Juice. But, during it, a fan shouted, and Yachty didn’t like that. He yelled at the fan to “shut the f*ck up,” asked the crew to turn the lights on so Yachty could identify the shouter, and once he did, he got the audience to boo the person (as seen in this video).

In a 2018 interview, Yachty said he had a collaborative project with Juice finished, although that has yet to see the light of day as of 2025. He also said of their joint track “Yacht Club,” “We got a bunch of songs just like that. We just be in the studio recording. We got hella songs together. This song was actually supposed to go on our tape. It’s crazy, the first song I had for my album was called ‘Knuck If You Buck’ and it’s hard. We just couldn’t find a session. My engineer was listening to my sh*t and told me, ‘I ain’t going to lie bro, ‘Yacht Club’ is hard.’ I trusted him and switched it.”

Severance season 2 is over, but the show continues to live rent-free in Olivia Rodrigo‘s head.

A few days ago, the “Bad Idea Right?” singer played her first-ever stadium show at Estadio GNP Seguros in Mexico City. To celebrate the occasion, she posted a TikTok with the caption, “my innie played her first stadium 2night.” The video shows Rodrigo inside an elevator going from every-day clothes to her Guts tour red leather bodysuit, a reference to the transformation the characters on Severance go through when they log in and out of work. Maybe Rodrigo can cover “The Windmills Of Your Mind” for her next show.

While in Mexico, Rodrigo — who is headlining Lollapalooza, Glastonbury, and Governors Ball — also enjoyed her first hot air balloon ride and a lucha libre event. “One of my fav weeks ever,” she wrote on Instagram. “Muchas gracias.”

Last year, Rodrigo spoke to Vogue about how she keeps busy on tour (when she’s not watching wrestling, that is). “I do all the classic things,” she said. “Call my therapist, go to the gym, I eat really healthy, and I don’t drink. But being creative is the ultimate form of self-care for me. I could journal forever. Putting down all the random stuff that comes into my head. Or if I’m feeling anxious, I’ll make a list of all the things I’m grateful for.”

Justin Bieber has found a lot of success with his collaborations; The most recent ones of note include the No. 1 singles “Stuck With U” with Ariana Grande, “Peaches” with Daniel Caesar and Giveon, and “Stay” with The Kid Laroi. So, it’s not surprising that Bieber is interested in getting back in the studio with a creative partner, and he’s even soliciting interested parties on social media.

Yesterday, Bieber shared a set of photos on Instagram and wrote, “Dm me if u wanna make music together.”

Of course, despite how it may sound, this call isn’t open to anybody: For science, I attempted to send Bieber a DM, but Instagram said, “You can’t message this account unless they follow you.” But, some noteworthy folks have expressed interest in linking up with Bieber, like Drake, who commented on the post, “I DM’d but no reply.”

Drake wasn’t the only big-timer to chime in on the collaboration-seeking post: Uproxx cover star Big Sean commented, “Check Dm’s.” Kehlani wrote, “whewwhewwww.” Jaden Smith commented, “Check your DMs gang.” Bailey Zimmerman also commented, “WE NEED COUNTRY JB!!!!”

Bieber has already gotten started with the collaborations, it appears: Last month, he was seen with Fred Again.. and Sekou.

Dreamville Festival opened its doors for a fifth and final time this weekend, and though the music showcase as we know it will be missed, fans didn’t let the news stop them from showing up in their Sunday’s best for the exciting weekend. This year’s festival featured an exciting lineup led by J. Cole, Erykah Badu, Tems, and Lil Wayne with Hot Boyz and Big Tymers. Additionally, the 2025 Dreamville Festival had its largest food lineup ever, while also giving fans more free events than they knew what to do with in the days leading up to the festival’s start.

With all that on the table for everyone to enjoy, fans showed their excitement for this year’s Dreamville Festival in many ways, including with their outfits. Raleigh, North Carolina held it down on the weather front as temps were well into the 80s during peak hours of the festival. Locals may be used to the warm temps already, but a New Englander like myself was extremely happy to escape the spring days that sometimes felt a lot like winter days. In the days leading up to the festival, the threat of rain hung over day two of the festival, but by Friday night, that threat was nothing more than a false alarm. With that, the runway was set for fans to pop out and show out.
