The Buffalo Bills walked into Kansas City on Sunday afternoon and picked up a 20-17 win over the Chiefs. It wasn’t pretty, and for one moment, it looked like Kansas City was going to score a late, go-ahead touchdown thanks to an all-time heads-up play by Travis Kelce, who threw an open field lateral to Kadarius Toney and let him walk into the end zone.

Unfortunately for the Chiefs, Toney lined up offsides on the play, which wiped out the touchdown and led to Buffalo’s defense making a stand. As he left the field following a fourth down pass falling incomplete, Patrick Mahomes was clearly furious.

Mahomes is not someone to normally go at the referees like this, and after the game, he explained why he was so frustrated. Essentially, it came down to him not believing that the refs threw a flag in that situation.

This sentiment was shared by Andy Reid. While he did not have the kind of sideline meltdown that Mahomes had, he was still pretty upset after the game, to the point that he called the whole thing “embarrassing for the National Football League.”

Obviously the Chiefs are going to be upset after losing a game like that — particularly to a team like Buffalo, which they’ve had some pretty incredible battles against over the year. But at the same time, it’s really hard to say that Toney lined up in a legal position here, as his foot is clearly in the neutral zone. And even though the penalty wiped out one of the best plays you’ll ever see by Kelce, Kansas City still had three plays after this to try and get a first down, so the opportunity was there for them to do something in the aftermath of the call.

In a flash, the screen shows that Sault has intentions to share their latest five albums with audiences around the world. The message reads: “Album 5 (New York). Album Nine (London). Album Black is (LA). Album Untitled Rise (Canada). Album 11 (Germany). Album Air (Paris). Album Earth (Africa).”

As far as the order of appearance goes, it appears their next project, supposedly titled Acts of Faith, will kick things off with a performance in London on December 14. At this time, a location hasn’t been announced. But according to the group, more information, including ticket sales, will begin on Monday, December 11.

Back in November, Sault promised an inaugural performance for their supporters, and based on these posts, they are sticking to their goal.

Emotions tend to run high in games involving divisional rivals, and during the fourth quarter of Sunday afternoon’s game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Seattle Seahawks, those emotions boiled over and led to D.K. Metcalf’s afternoon coming to a premature end. Seattle faced a fourth-and-13 on the Niners’ side of midfield while trailing by 12, and because there was less than 3:30 left in the game, the Seahawks decided to go for it.

Drew Lock dropped back and threw up a duck, which Fred Warner was able to pick off. For some reason, Warner decided to pitch the ball to Dre Greenlaw instead of just going down, and while Greenlaw started his return, Metcalf hit Warner with a German suplex. Warner responded by shoving Metcalf while he was down, which led to Metcalf getting up and grabbing Warner by the facemask.

You can see a little of what happened there in that first video, but here’s a better view of things.

Warner’s shove obviously isn’t great, but between his tackle and the grabbing of an opponent’s facemask like that, Metcalf saw his day come to a premature end. He wasn’t the only person who got tossed, though, as Niners defensive back Deommodore Lenoir was also ejected.

This week was supposed to be a biggie: Donald Trump was supposed to return to the witness stand. The former president was scheduled to once again appear in court for one of his many cases, this one for the New York fraud trial. The last time he took the stand, it, uh, did not go well for him, despite what he said. But those hoping for a sequel are in for a rude awakening: On Sunday Trump revealed he was skipping his appearance, and in the most chill way possible. (Joke. It was an all-caps two-parter.)

Trump also cited the testimony of Eli Bartov, an accounting professor who also testified in the case — and was handsomely rewarded for it, too.

“A TOP PROFESSOR FROM NYU STERN SAID, ‘IF MR. TRUMP WERE MY STUDENT, HE WOULD GET AN ‘A’ ON HIS FINANCIAL STATEMENTS. IV’E NEVER SEEN A STATEMENT THAT PROVIDED SO MUCH DETAIL, & IS SO TRANSPARENT, AS THESE STATEMENTS,’” he wrote.

Trump concluded that based on his previous testimony, he has “NOTHING MORE TO SAY OTHER THAN THAT THIS IS A COMPLETE & TOTAL ELECTION INTERFERENCE (BIDEN CAMPAIGN!) WITCH HUNT.” He also claimed that the case will “”DO NOTHING BUT KEEP BUSINESSES OUT OF NEW YORK.”

As such, Trump said he “WILL NOT BE TESTIFYING ON MONDAY.”

So there. What will Trump with his newly freed-up time? Maybe he can devote that to planning that dictatorship he promised to enact last week.

Offset and his wife Cardi B’s recently unfollowed each other on Instagram, sparking breakup rumors. Still, nothing about the pair has been confirmed. But Offset did address another, somewhat related rumor. On Sunday, December 10, Blueface, who has collaborated with Cardi B before, accused Offset of sleeping with Chrisean Rock, his reality star ex-girlfriend and mother of his youngest child.

“Being tatted on a home is not a flex. You literally f*cked Cardi B’s husband a couple of weeks ago,” Blueface charged. “I’m tired of n****s looking at me while they f*cking you. Get the rest of ’em gone asap, please .”

Offset replied, “I ain’t never talk or touch that lady. Real talk, man, you need some help!”

This isn’t the first time Blueface accused someone of sleeping with Chrisean. After Lil Baby gave support to Chrisean in her upcoming rap career, Blueface accused him of being romantically linked to her. It’s a claim they both deny.

Bronny James is officially back. During Sunday afternoon’s game between the USC Trojans and Long Beach State 49ers, James was able to take the floor for the first time since he went into cardiac arrest during an offseason practice.

The game took place at the Galen Center, where USC plays its home games, and unsurprisingly, James’ family was in attendance and sitting courtside — his dad, Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James, made clear that he would be in attendance for Bronny’s first game no matter when it came. And with just under 13 minutes left in the first half, LeBron and the rest of the arena got to watch as Bronny headed to the scorers table and checked in for the first time as a Trojan.

And not long after, he put forth a highlight that we’ve seen his old man do time and time again. Following a turnover, a Long Beach State player looked like he was going to get a layup, but Bronny came flying in for a chasedown block.

Bronny’s medical incident occurred back in July, and fortunately, all indications were that he was doing well in the immediate aftermath of the event. A little more than two months later, LeBron indicated that the plan was for Bronny to play at some point during the 2023-24 college basketball season, and at the end of November, he was given the green light for a full return.
