Selena Gomez Wished She Was As Beautiful As A Certain Supermodel, And Lady Gaga Gave Her A Sweet Response

Selena Gomez has been dealing with a lot. She recently revealed that TikTok is the only social media app on her phone, however it doesn’t have a very positive environment. Many users have been making comments about her weight, which she addressed by discussing the ways her Lupus medication affects her body.

According to Pop Crave, Lady Gaga has been a source of support for the “Lose You To Love Me” singer. In a recent TikTok post, Gomez posted a selfie with the words: “I wish I was as pretty as Bella Hadid.” Gaga commented: “You look and are beautiful inside and out one of my favorite ladies alive!”

In January, Gomez set the record straight after rumors circulated she was dating Drew Taggart from The Chainsmokers. She posted a black-and-white photo of the sky with the words: “I prefer being alone too much.” As if that wasn’t straightforward enough, she added: “#IAmSingle.”

Meanwhile fans are also hoping that she’ll bring some songs on the road this year. Just recently, a fan account posted pictures of her performing, and she commented, “Can’t wait for tour.” She hasn’t done a tour since 2016 for her album Revival, so the anticipation is definitely building.

Meghan McCain Got Dragged For Tweeting About Her ‘Jeopardy’ Question Instead Of Addressing The Fox News Scandal

Meghan McCain took a break from her normal tweeting activity of spreading right-wing talking points to gush about crossing an item off of her bucket list. (This would not be entirely true.) The former The View co-host is apparently a huge Jeopardy! fan, so imagine McCain’s surprise when she learned that not only was she a question, but it referenced her dad, the late Senator John McCain. The Jeopardy! clue was also a pretty solid plug for her book that can certainly use the help. It sold fewer than 300 copies. Oof.

“A bit of a maverick herself, in Bad Republican this political daughter writes about not fitting in,” the Jeopardy! text read, and McCain loved it.

“Bucket list!!” McCain tweeted. “Can’t believe I’m a question on @Jeopardy tonight! What an honor – and so glad the contestant got it right!”

Of course, it didn’t take long for McCain to get roasted in the comments, particularly over the fact that her entire pundit career is built on being one of the biggest nepo babies in politics. McCain also got dragged for not commenting on the recent Fox News scandal involving court documents that showed its most prominent anchors like Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity didn’t buy into Donald Trump’s election fraud scheme yet still pushed it to protect the network’s stock price.

You can see some of the reactions below:

And in pure McCain style, it turns out her tweet wasn’t even accurate. She already was a Jeopardy! question back in 2019.

That’s our Meghan.

The Most Unhinged ‘The White Lotus’ Season 2 Character Was Nearly Played By ‘Dahmer’ Star Evan Peters

Every fan-favorite show or movie has an actor who was so close to starring in it, but it fell through for whatever reason. Of course, this happens all the time, but we only hear about it after the show becomes a huge hit, like how every actor under the sun auditioned for The Office in 2003, or how Chris Pratt almost played Chuck. He turned out fine, though, relatively speaking.

The latest reveal involves a certain American Horror Story alum who almost made it to The White Lotus hotel in Italy for the second season of the HBO series.

The White Lotus executive producer David Bernad confirmed that Aubrey Plaza’s perpetually miserable on-screen husband Ethan was originally supposed to be Ryan Murphy’s own golden boy, Evan Peters. “[Ethan] was the last part we cast in the season, and originally it was supposed to be Evan Peters, but for whatever reason – scheduling or timing – it didn’t work out,” Bernad explained to Deadline.

Peters would have just been wrapping up his time on Monster, so perhaps he would have brought that negative serial killer energy that would kill the vibe of the fun Italian vacation. On the other hand, Ethan was never going to have a personality no matter who played him. Still, Will Sharpe did a great job of looking bored in the picturesque Italian oasis.

There is still time for Peters to sign on for season three, which is expected to take place in Asia. But there is a long list of actors who have been campaigning to get their The White Lotus room keys for next the season, so he might as well get in line — behind Colin Farrell.

Iggy Azalea Is Having No Problem Rolling In The Dough On OnlyFans: ‘I’m Making So Much Money’

Iggy Azalea recently appeared on model Emily Ratajkowski’s High Low With EmRata podcast, where she dished on just how her OnlyFans hustle was working out.

As she earns money from people paying subscriptions on the platform, Azalea says she’s made “so much” from it. She joined the site last month and launched a “Hotter Than Hell” project that includes “photographs, visual art collabs, videos, merch, and all kinds of aesthetically pleasing, hot as hell things,” as she previously noted on social media.

“I’m making so much money that I won’t even say how much it is,” Azalea said on the podcast.

Her profile currently charges $25 for a standard monthly subscription. She also offers bundles for 3 months at $71.25, 6 months at $135, and a full year for $225. However, the site doesn’t publicly indicate how many people are subscribed and for what amount.

During their conversation, Ratajkowski also asked Azalea about nudity on OnlyFans. “I don’t show vagina, but there is boobs and there is butt and I am naked,” the Australian musician added.

“It was scary when I sat on OnlyFans,” Azalea noted. “I’m someone who shows my breasts or my nudity, I don’t really have a problem with being overtly sexual when I’m in control of it and when I feel it has artistic merit.”

Japanese Breakfast’s Hot Take On The Beatles Upset Many Music Lovers On Twitter

Next month, Michelle Zauner from Japanese Breakfast will head out on her first-ever book tour. “Crying In H Mart is finally out in paperback on March 28th,” she said in a statement, “and I’ll be heading out on my first book tour to celebrate! Very excited to roll up to your city for the first time with a tote bag and a book instead of a giant trailer of gear.”

In the meantime, she’s stirring the pot on Twitter by sharing hot takes about music.

Revolver is the Tusk of Beatles albums,” she wrote, talking about Fleetwood Mac’s polarizing 1979 album. After lots of reactions, she added, “I’m not saying either of these albums are bad! I’m saying if they’re your favorites you’re a contrarian and wrong.”

Despite receiving backlash in lots of impassioned quote-tweets and replies, the “Be Sweet” performer is standing her ground. Black Midi’s Geordie Greep, for example, replied, “Fair play but she is wrong as f*ck lol. Why does this sort of thing have to devolve into put downs and reductiveness lol. She’s talking about 2 masterpieces, who cares if they are better or worse than other obvious masterpieces. They are all brilliant, just in different ways.” To that, Zauner responded, “Aren’t you supposed to be interesting?”

Mark Ronson also chimed in, “She said she said > most songs throughout history.” Zauner replied, “You unfeeling snob you.”

Last year, Zauner was very excited when she was in a Jeopardy! answer: “Michelle Zauner writes about losing her Korean mother to cancer in her memoir Crying In this Asian grocery chain.” A contestant named Sadie Goldberger said, “What is H-Mart?” The musician responded to the milestone on social media with a simple sentiment: “I’m dead!!!!!!!”

See What All The ‘One Of The Best Movies Of 2023’ Talk Is About In A24’s ‘Past Lives’ Trailer

It’s still early, but don’t be surprised if Past Lives ends up on our Best Movies of 2023 list. The A24 drama, which stars Greta Lee (so good on Russian Doll) as Nora and Teo Yoo as Hae Sung, is described as “a love story — indeed, several — told across three moments in time.” The Celine Song-directed film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, where it received near-universal acclaim. Vox called it “miraculous,” while Vanity Fair praised it for being “a dreamy, gently heartbreaking film” and a “note-perfect directorial debut.”

You can see what all the fuss is about in the trailer above. Here’s more:

A budding childhood romance between Nora and Hae Sung, classmates at a primary school in Seoul, ends abruptly when Nora’s family emigrates to Canada. Twelve years later, Nora, now a playwriting student in New York, notices that Hae Sung’s been searching social media for her. They reconnect online, begin talking frequently, and even imagine a reunion. But another dozen years pass before they finally meet over a few fateful days during his visit to New York. Although their lives have changed dramatically, they remain bound by a wistful connection.

Past Lives comes out later this year, along with fellow A24 films Beau Is Afraid, MaXXXine, and Showing Up.

Britney Spears Urges Fans To Not Call The Police The Next Time She Deactivates Her Instagram Account

About a month ago, police from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office visited Britney Spears after fans called requesting a wellness check, after Spears deactivated her Instagram account (as she often does). Spears has publicly commented on this multiple times since then and she did so again yesterday (February 21) with a new Instagram post.

The video starts with Spears speaking in a non-American accent and talking about a dress she was gifted. Still showing off the dress, she then says, “So guys, I just want you to know: If I shut down my Instagram, do not call the cops. Don’t ever be a roller coaster,” before running around the room. She ends the video by saying again, “Never be a roller coaster!”

In Spears’ initial response to the police visit, she wrote, “I love and adore my fans but this time things went a little too far and my privacy was invaded. […] This felt like I was being gaslit and bullied once the incident made it to the news and being portrayed once again in a poor and unfair light by the media. During this time in my life, I truly hope the public and my fans who I care so much about can respect my privacy moving forward.”

Days later, she added, “I shut down my Instagram because there were too many people saying I looked like an idiot dancing and that I looked crazy. Honestly I was doing my best but it disturbed me to see people freely talk about it on TV … yep it hurt my feelings.”

Read what VMP’s Director of Music and Truth is Where It’s At executive producer Andrew Winistorfer said in a statement below:

Truth Is Where It’s At: The Best of Gospel Truth celebrates the diverse sounds cultivated by a short-lived label, unafraid to merge the era’s rock and soul with a spiritual movement and message. From the imprint’s star Bishop Rance Allen to the singular eponymous album of Blue Aquarius, this box set commemorates a short, but inspiring, part of Stax’s history. Like our VMP Anthology series, this box helps you discover lost albums and find them anew, giving attention to albums that deserve to be remastered and remembered.”

‘Daredevil’ Director Mark Steven Johnson Explained Why A Sequel To The 2003 Film Was Never Made

Twenty years ago, at a very different time for comic book movies, there was a big screen, big budget version of Daredevil. It starred Ben Affleck as blind lawyer-crimefighter Matt Murdock. Jennifer Garner was Elektra. Colin Farrell played Bullseye. It did pretty well if not great. It even got an spinoff for Elektra. But the world never again saw Affleck in a tight red suit. But why is that? (Other than Affleck hating it.)

In a retrospective interview on the film’s 20th anniversary with Yahoo! Entertainment, the film’s director, Mark Steven Johnson, explained, among other things, why there was never a Daredevil 2. At the time, Marvel — some five years before the first Iron Man — decided that instead of a sequel they’d try out a spinoff.

“I think the plan was that they would make an Elektra movie and then in success do another Daredevil,” said Johnson. “I didn’t work on the Elektra movie at all, but that one didn’t work out, and then everything kind of went away, unfortunately.”

Indeed, Elektra was a bomb, not even grossing past the $25 million mark domestically — a fourth of what Daredevil made. So that’s the end of that story.

Things eventually worked out well for a screen Matt Murdock. Some 12 years later, Netflix debuted a TV series version starring Charlie Cox (who also doesn’t like the Daredevil movie). It ended after only three seasons, due to Marvel cutting ties with the streamer. But Cox will be coming back for more on Disney+, even though he says the revival is a different thing and not just Season 4.
