Ariana Grande Just Had To Know About The ‘Best D*ck’ Jennifer Coolidge Got After Playing Stifler’s Mom

Back in 2018, Ariana Grande dropped her 2000s-inspired video for “Thank U, Next,” which featured a memorable cameo from Legally Blonde‘s Jennifer Coolidge. Now, fast-forward to 2022: Entertainment Weekly just named Coolidge one of their 2022 Entertainers Of The Year and they got Grande to interview her.

During the conversation, Grande couldn’t help but inquire Coolidge about the impact playing Stifler’s mom in American Pie had on her sex life. Grande asked, “You’ve spoken publicly about the tremendous impact that playing Stifler’s mom has had on your life. In particular, how much dick it’s gotten you. Do you remember the best dick you got from playing Stifler’s mom? Do you keep in touch?”

Coolidge gave that honor to “the youngest fellow” and noted of the awkward morning after, “I told him I needed to get a blow dry. So he was so young, we called his mother to see where I could get a blow dry. It was so weird that happened on the phone, it was very clear that we were in the bed together.”

(Grande, of course, knows a thing or two about the topic: In 2018, she helped popularized the term “BDE” — short for “big d*ck energy” — by using it in reference to then-fiancé Pete Davidson.)

There was more to Coolidge’s answer than that, so check out full interview here.

The Most Evil Character In ‘The White Lotus’ Universe Has Been That Way Since Season 1

[This post contains spoilers for The White Lotus season two]

The seeds of Greg being the supervillian of The White Lotus universe were planted the first time we saw him. In the Hawaii-set season one episode, “Recentering,” he’s introduced muttering about his key not working (his first words: “F*ck you”) before Tanya, his future wife, tells him that he’s at the wrong door — this is her room. It seemed like an innocuous (and drunken) mistake at the time, but knowing what we know following the season two finale, Greg may have already had his sights on her riches.

HBO

Flash forward to Sicily, and Tanya learns that Greg is in cahoots with Quentin and plans to kill her. She gets the drop on the high-end gays and a big-donged, cocaine-supplying Italian man, but while attempting to escape their yacht, she falls, conks her head, and dies (it’s her body that Daphne discovered in the season premiere). It’s a tragic end to a brilliant season. Speaking of finales, it was during the season one finale that creator Mike White planted the first clue to Tanya’s impending demise.

“In the end of last season, Tanya is sitting with Greg in the last episode and he’s talking about his health issues and she says, ‘I’ve had every kind of treatment over the years, death is the last immersive experience I haven’t tried,’ and I was thinking, it’d be so fun to bring Tanya back because she’s such a great character, but maybe that’s the journey for her, the journey to death,” he said in a post-episode featurette on HBO Max. “Not that I really wanted to kill Tanya because I love her as a character and obviously love Jennifer, but we’re going to Italy, she’s such a diva, a larger-than-life female archetype, it felt maybe we could devise our own operatic conclusion to her life and story.”

Maybe season three can be a prequel? Either way, RIP Peppa Pig.

Taylor Swift Wrote About The ‘Riveting Nuance’ Sadie Sink Brought To The ‘All Too Well’ Short Film In A Touching Message

Today (December 12), Entertainment Weekly named Sadie Sink one of their 2022 Entertainers Of The Year. Furthermore, they got another supreme entertainer in Taylor Swift to pen a note about Sink, who starred in Swift’s All Too Well: The Short Film.

Swift’s message begins, “Sadie Sink is a remarkable presence on screen, on stage, and on set. While watching the monitors during the filming of the short film we made together, I often found myself transfixed by the effortlessness and complexity of her performance. Scratch that, because it didn’t feel like a performance at all. Her grief, her hope, her loss — it all felt real.”

After praising Sink’s acting abilities in Stranger Things, The Whale, and All Too Well, Swift concluded, “She is a force to watch and a pleasure to know. I’ll continue to feel just as lucky to watch from afar as she lights up the screen, tells new stories, and shows us new sides of herself: multifaceted and brilliant, dark and unhinged, twinkly and full of promise. This artist contains multitudes, and we get to look on as she courageously unveils them. Everyone say, ‘Thank you, Sadie.’”

Read Swift’s fill message here or below.

“Sadie Sink is a remarkable presence on screen, on stage, and on set. While watching the monitors during the filming of the short film we made together, I often found myself transfixed by the effortlessness and complexity of her performance. Scratch that, because it didn’t feel like a performance at all. Her grief, her hope, her loss — it all felt real.

I often tell people that Sadie’s face is so transparent, you can even see the thoughts she almost has. After over a decade of work, as the internet would say, this year ‘Sadie Sink’s rent was due.’ She helped bring ‘Running Up That Hill’ by Kate Bush back into the cultural spotlight with a harrowing performance as Max Mayfield on Stranger Things season 4. Max’s conflicted sorrow, regret, and resentment was potent and piercing in her portrayal, a slow burn that simmered with intensity. Even when despondent, Max’s fury was palpable from beneath layers of hurt. It was an evolutionary turn for the character, helmed gracefully and tastefully by an artist who knows how to extensively prepare and fully commit.

She continued to show audiences this level of versatility and emotional dexterity, next rising to the challenge of playing Brendan Fraser’s complex and defiant estranged daughter Ellie in Darren Aronofsky’s The Whale. Ellie is a character for whom years of rejection and confusion has calcified into rage, and Sadie threaded the needle with the exact attention to detail such tumult calls for. Darren said of working with her, ‘Sadie is as precise as a surgeon’s scalpel. She’s a firecracker of emotion and a complete professional.’

I remember being lucky enough to witness those exact emotional fireworks sparking throughout our shoot, when she took on the role of a lovestruck, then lovelorn young woman I named ‘Her’ in All Too Well: The Short Film. When she went head-to-head with Dylan O’Brien in an explosive argument scene, I decided to shoot the rehearsal on a whim. Good thing, because Sadie lit up that kitchen fight with ad-libbed lines, improvised twists and turns, and all with riveting nuance. The rehearsal is what ended up in the film, a one-shot battle that I didn’t have the nerve to cut down in the edit. Because EVERYTHING was captivating.

She is a force to watch and a pleasure to know.

Here Are The Nominations For The 2023 Golden Globe Awards

The Golden Globes ceremony will apparently return full force in 2023. Of course “full force” remains an ambiguous term when it comes to this awards show. The pandemic happened, and even more damningly, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association happened, meaning that the group has dealt with a lot of controversy over the past handful of years. At the moment, it might be enough to acknowledge that Brendan Fraser has declared that he will not be attending even if he gets nominated for his much lauded performance in The Whale. Yet this ceremony will proceed as planned (with host Jerrod Carmichael) on January 10, 2023, so we’re doing the nomination thing here.

One could easily have expected to see representation from House of the Dragon (Paddy Considine went about eight extra miles with his King Viserys portrayal), Better Call Saul, The Crown, The Bear, and Ozark. It doesn’t appear as though Succession made the eligibility-date cutoff, but perhaps we’ll be pleasantly surprised on that note. Do expect to see a showing from Yellowstone because Taylor Sheridan’s franchise has made Westerns all the rage these days, so let the show begin.

Elon Musk Was Loudly Booed By Thousands Of People During A Surprise Appearance At A Dave Chappelle Comedy Show

“Comedy is now legal on Twitter.” But off Twitter, when people go to a comedy show, they want to see a comedian — not the world’s richest desperately unfunny sh*tposter.

Elon Musk was the special guest at Dave Chappelle‘s standup gig at the Chase Center in San Francisco on Sunday, and instead of being greeted as a sink-carrying, Silicon Valley hero, he was roundly, loudly, and hilariously booed by thousands of people.

“@elonmusk just got booed like I’ve never heard before on stage with @davechapelle and @chrisrock,” @Ilana_Stern tweeted. “He couldn’t get a word in, the crowd booed for 10 minutes. Not favored on his home turf. He looked stunned, must not get enough feedback IRL.” @Esqueer_ added, “Elon Musk was booed heavily when he was invited on stage by Dave Chappelle last night. He fucked around and is quickly finding out. Sycophantic Twitter users are a small minority. Even Chappelle’s transphobic fans don’t like this jackass.” Musk also quoted “I’m rich, bitch” from Chappelle’s Show, because of course he did. On the bright side, at least it wasn’t “I’m Rick James, bitch”?

As the laughs for Chappelle’s jokes would get drowned out by boos anytime Musk tried to talk, the comedian said that people could boo all they want, because Musk had given him a jetpack last Christmas. But every single time Musk began to speak, the crowd started booing again, much to the frustration of Musk.

You can watch a video from the show (until Musk deletes it) below:

‘The White Lotus’ Viewers Are Already Pulling For A Character To Crossover (In A Specific Location) For Season 3

(SPOILERS from The White Lotus will be found below.)

HBO’s The White Lotus delivered a crushing blow when it killed off the crossover character from Season 1. That would be, of course, Jennifer Coolidge’s Tanya, who managed to kill her would-be murderers but then bit the dust anyway. This was shocking and upsetting and a perfect twist from Mike White. The Gays got what they deserved after zeroing in on Tanya in order to help Quentin’s “cowboy” and nab that money for themselves. By the way, it sure looks like Greg’s gonna get that payout anyway. Let’s forget about that for the moment, though, because fans are already thinking about Season 3.

People really would like to see more of Daphne. Ideally, they’d like to see her without Cameron, perhaps with her trainer/probable baby daddy in tow. Or with Harper, so they can have a proper girls’ vacation. Speaking of Harper, I’m conflicted over how she and Ethan are seemingly alright now. They finally had sex after Ethan punched the hell out of Cameron, and Ethan and Daphne had a spooky conversation, during which it seemed as though he wasn’t long for this world. Admit it, you thought Daphne could be luring Ethan into murderland in the below moment, right?

The White Lotus
HBO

Both Daphne and Ethan turned out to be fine, but this made Daphne even more interesting than she was already shaping up to be. She had advice for Ethan that may have hit home and worked some magic. According to Daphne (Meghann Fahy crushed this subtle yet telling scene), maybe you don’t need to know everything about your SO in order to love them. Maybe a little bit of mystery is good. And she’s happy with pretending all is well, but there’s more underneath the surface that could further roll out in this universe. And that Maldives mention? Yep.

Make it happen, Mike White.

A Video Supposedly Of Adele Grinding Hard On A Man At The Club Fooled The Internet, But It’s Actually Another Singer

Adele (pronounced “Uh-dale”) had herself a big weekend… or at least that’s how it seemed.

Yesterday, a video started making the rounds on Twitter, of a person grinding hard on a man at a nightclub, rubbing their backside on his crotch and straddling him with their leg. One tweet about the video in particular generated some attention, as it has racked up over 80,000 likes and says, “Adele is really for the people.”

Indeed, the person does look like Adele. That said, it is not. It has plenty of people fooled, though, apparently including the Twitter user who shared that tweet, as they later wrote, “Oh my God let me get my glasses.” Somebody else commented, “Lmao I stared at this video hard and long and it didn’t hit me until the very last minute that this in fact was not Adele.” Another user replied, “the way you really gaslighted my brain into seeing adele is crazy.”

So, who is it really? The answer is Kehlani, dancing with their makeup artist, Troye Antonio. The two actually have a habit of doing this, too: A couple months ago, a different video made the rounds, that time with Antonio as the one doing the grinding on Kehlani. Kehlani is also apparently just big on grinding, as they were recently spotted doing it with Letitia Wright.

‘The White Lotus’ Fans Are Desperately Trying To Recover From The Crushing Blow Of That Shocking Season Finale

(SPOILERS from The White Lotus will be found below.)

HBO’s The White Lotus will return for a third season, but first, we’re going to need to heal from the second season finale. No, this doesn’t involve the cast wising up and finally eating at an offsite restaurant. And no, Ethan didn’t kill anyone, and Aubrey Plaza made good on her promise that Harper is disgusted by Cameron. Rather, a major fan theory was correct. Tanya was being lured to death by The Gays, and party favor guy and the camera were definitely a part of that hot mess.

Tanya wised up by the end and tried to save herself. She did succeed at saving herself from Quentin and the gang, and in fact, she killed most of them. Thank god! Sadly enough, though, she couldn’t land in a lifeboat without taking herself out. It was sad! But it could have been worse. I feel like she went out on her own terms. We don’t know what will happen with Cowboy Greg, or whether he’ll get her money, but at least Tanya gave Quentin and Co. what they deserved. However, Tanya’s a fan favorite character, so viewers are understandably upset. The “you got this” was slightly heartbreaking!

The White Lotus season finale is streaming on HBO Max.

AJ Griffin Hit A Spinning Shot Off A Lob To Stun The Bulls In Overtime

For the second time this year, the Atlanta Hawks turned to rookie AJ Griffin for a game-winning shot at the rim on a lob, this time beating the Bulls in overtime on an outrageous shot, catching it, spinning, and putting it up to the rim all in one motion to beat the buzzer on an inbounds play with just 0.5 seconds on the clock.

It was the capper to a wild overtime period that saw Atlanta pull ahead by five thanks to a circus shot from Bogdan Bogdanovic, who led the Hawks with 28 points in the game, midway through the OT.

The Bulls would claw their way back to tie the game, only to see Trae Young sink a stepback midrange jumper with one second on the clock to push Atlanta back ahead by two.

That seemed to ensure that the next Bulls possession would decide the game, but DeMar DeRozan got fouled on a three-point attempt on the catch with 0.5 seconds left, hitting all three to put Chicago up one.

Because there were 0.5 seconds left, the Hawks still had a chance for a catch-and-shoot winner, and while the Bulls focused their attention on Young and Bogdanovic, Atlanta snuck the rookie to the rim, cutting back a defender to create space, and then had the body control to finish and get the shot off before the buzzer. It’s a very important win for a Hawks team that has been reeling of late, losing three in a row coming into this amid reports of discontent in the locker room.

One win doesn’t fix everything, but it certainly helps lift the spirits in Atlanta as they move towards trade season with the expectation that some changes are on the horizon. On the other side, the Bulls have a two-game winning streak snapped in painful fashion and slip back to 11-15 on the season, as many wonder if they might fall into a deep enough hole to become a seller at the deadline and shift their focus a bit more to the future.

A Dolphins Fumble Somehow Turned Into A 56-Yard Tyreek Hill Touchdown

The Miami Dolphins couldn’t get much of anything going in the first 20-plus minutes against the Chargers on Sunday Night Football, as Tua Tagovailoa started off 2-of-9 for 13 yards and their running backs had a combined seven yards rushing. Despite that, they still managed to pull within 10-7 thanks to one of the strangest plays of the season, as a Jeff Wilson Jr. fumble turned into a scrum for the ball. Tyreek Hill was just lingering behind the pile when the ball just happened to shoot out of the sea of bodies right to the fastest man on the field, who ran it all the way for a touchdown.

It’s as serendipitous a bounce as the Dolphins could have hoped for, because initially it looked like it’d be Chargers ball for certain. However, when you play a sport with an oddly shaped ball, you get funky bounces and no one could get their arms around it, sending it shooting out right to the one person fast enough to run all the way around everyone to the sideline and take it to the house.

We’ll see if that’s the play that unlocks the Dolphins offense which couldn’t get out of first gear, as Hill found a way to make an impact despite Tua’s early struggles.
