There are many things rapper ASAP Rocky has to be thankful for this holiday season, most notably his budding new family with music superstar Rihanna. Shortly after going public with their relationship, the couple welcomed their first child in the world in May.

With assault charges and a civil lawsuit lingering over the Harlem native’s head, Rocky is devoting every waking second to his infant son. The “Sh*ttin Me” rapper spoke with Complex‘s Jessica McKinney about how fatherhood has been treating him. This isn’t the first time Rocky has opened up, but it has been the most lengthy statement.

Rocky gushed, “It’s beautiful,” before adding, “Honestly, I think fatherhood gives me more time to do exactly what I want. I don’t have time for anything that isn’t priorities. It helps you prioritize, honestly. I love it. Everything is just based around my newfound love for being a dad and a family man. It’s lit right now. I can’t even describe it. Yo, you see this smile! I’m all smiles right now, man.”

When the rapper isn’t wrapped up in his responsibilities as a father, he’s expanding his budding fashion empire. According to Rocky, that’s precisely how he likes it: “I’m in a place where I want to give my all to all of this. All I have is my craft, my art, and my family. That’s just my life. I just want to give motherf*ckers some dope sh*t. They’re going to see. It’s going to be ill.”

In the penultimate episode of season two of The White Lotus, Tanya (played by the wonderful Jennifer Coolidge) tells her millennial assistant, Portia (Haley Lu Richardson), “When I see you, I… I see a younger version of me.” It’s a tragic line in the context of the show (Tanya later adds, “Get your sh*t together, Portia”), but realistic in real life. As pointed out by Twitter user @dynamofire, “holy sh*t when jennifer coolidge says ‘you remind me of a young me’ she was not f*cking around at ALL.”

What a missed opportunity to make her Tanya’s daughter,” one person wrote in response to the side-by-side photos. “Holy f*cking god” went another. @douglasmartini noted, “There is a lot of great meta stuff with Coolidge this season and I’m all the way here for it,” while others are recalling the time that Coolidge was on Seinfeld.

The viral tweet did not come up during Richardson’s appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday, but she did discuss, uh, stalking Aubrey Plaza. “I know she has a lot of crazed fans, but I’m like one of the top three,” the actress said. “I legitimately stalked her. Like, I didn’t just stalk her on social media. I showed up to places I was not invited, knowing she was there.” It’s still not as creepy as the witch hat comment, however.

In a Rolling Stone feature from November, Selena Gomez spoke about the kidney transplant she received in 2017, noting that she named her new organ Fred, after Fred Armisen. She explained, “I named my new kidney ‘Fred.’ I named it after Fred Armisen because I love Portlandia. I’ve never met him, but I’m secretly hoping he finds that out just because I want him to be like, ‘That’s weird.’”

Well, it’s been a month since then and Armisen has indeed found out. He had a nice response to the news, too.

Gomez guested on The Tonight Show yesterday (December 5) and during the interview, Jimmy Fallon asked about the kidney and Gomez re-told the story. Fallon then asked if Armisen had heard about this and with a joyful tone that mirrored her wide smile, Gomez said, “Yeah, he sent me flowers. I was so excited.”

Immediately after that, Gomez revealed she has more new music on the way, saying, “I’m just… I’m so used to writing sad-girl songs because I’m good at that, but I’m ready to have some fun and I think people are going to like it.

As some of K-pop’s third generation acts have begun enlisting into the military, many are wondering about the status BTS member Jin’s mandatory military service.

According to a translated report from Soompi, via Naver, BTS’ label, BigHit Music, provided updates to “The Astronaut” singer’s upcoming enlistment. The Korean music giant provided details on the enlistment’s private entrance ceremony as well as the advisory of not crowding the enlistment site or purchasing unauthorized tours and products.

We want to thank you for your continued support of BTS and would like to update you on Jin’s upcoming enlistment into the military.

Jin will fulfill his required time with the military by enlisting in the army. Please note that we will not be holding any kind of official event on the day of his recruitment.

In order to prevent any issues that might occur from crowding, we ask fans to please refrain from visiting the site. A few weeks ago, it was reported that Jin would go into basic military training before receiving his official assignment at the Yeoncheon County of Gyeonggi Province recruiting center on December 13. However, BigHit Music has not yet confirmed.

What a time to be alive to be a member of BLACKPINK. Or a Blink.

Ahead of Time‘s annual Person Of The Year reveal, the legacy publisher unveiled its 2022 Entertainer Of The Year yesterday evening (December 5) and it was BLACKPINK. Time celebrated the K-pop powerhouses on their impact on pushing the boundaries of K-pop and Korean entertainment across borders and onto a global scale. Other than an ongoing sold out tour, they mention the four-piece’s achievements on having the best-selling album from a Korean girl group with over 2 million sales, and garnering over 83 million YouTube subscribers.

“Blackpink has managed to become the biggest girl group in the world precisely by allowing its members to be solo stars in their own right,” Time contributor Raisa Bruner writes in her story. “The group may be bigger than the sum of its parts, but each of its parts is bigger than most other pop groups’ combined efforts.”

The December 26 issue of Time, as well as the January 9, 2023 Person Of The Year issue, will go on sale on December 16.

BLACKPINK just recently embarked on the European leg of their world tour and will continue to take the Born Pink Tour to Asia, the Middle East, and more into 2023.

Yesterday (December 5), SZA unveiled the tracklist of her long-awaited upcoming album, S.O.S.. There was one feature that immediately stood out: Phoebe Bridgers on “Ghost In The Machine.” SZA and Bridgers don’t exactly travel in the same musical circles, but despite/because of that, people are super excited. Specifically, one person SZA knows couldn’t contain themselves after hearing the news.

Late last night/early this morning, SZA shared a video on Twitter and captioned it, “Response to having phoebe on the albums been pretty positive lol.” The video is a screen recording of her phone, which shows two brief audio messages she received. The first one is of a person intensely screaming, “Phoebe Bridgers! Phoebe Bridgers! Phoebe Bridgers!” In the second, they shout, “Yes! Yes!”

Yesterday was actually pretty major for Bridgers stans. Aside from the SZA news, it was also revealed that her boyfriend (or perhaps fiancé) Paul Mescal will be sitting down for a joint interview with Taylor Swift’s also-actor boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, as part of Vanity Fair‘s “Actors On Actors” series. That also garnered some enthusiastic responses on social media.

The NFC South entered Monday night with all four teams below .500, with the Bucs facing the Saints with a chance to get back to 6-6 on the season and take a near stranglehold on the dismal division.

However, deep into the fourth quarter the Bucs had only managed to put up three points on the Saints, and after a Saints field goal with eight minutes to play, Tampa trailed 16-3 with little going for it. After punting twice from midfield on what seemed like bizarre decisions from Todd Bowles, Tom Brady expressed his displeasure on the sidelines and it seemed like Brady’s expletive-filled rant on the bench might be the biggest story of the game.

After the Bucs defense forced a punt, with the Saints failing to take much time off the clock with poor situational awareness, Brady was able to march Tampa down the field for the first time all game and find the end zone with three minutes to play on a touchdown pass to Cade Otton.

Once again, the Saints offense turtled up with a three-yard run followed by a brutal sack that set them back at 3rd and 17, as the Bucs called timeout.

Andy Dalton would then throw the best pass of the night from either QB, finding Taysom Hill up the seam for what would’ve been a first down if not for Keanu Neal flying in and lighting up Hill with a clean hit right on the ball to dislodge it and force a punt. At that point, every Saints fan knew what was coming as the Bucs took the ball and began a march down the field. After this incredible catch from Julio Jones got them inside the 10, a Bucs go-ahead score felt inevitable and the Saints called a timeout to try and get the defense a breather and, if needed, get at least a little time for the offense if Tampa scored on the next play.

The Bucs did just that on a rocket from Brady to Chris Godwin, but it got called back by a hold and suddenly the Saints had life once again. However, all that did was delay the pain, as Brady eventually found Rachaad White for the game-winning touchdown with three seconds to play on a well-run choice route that got him enough space to fight across the goal line.

Ryan Succop would make the all-important extra point to put Tampa up 17-16, and New Orlean’s last-gasp attempt at pitchy pitchy woo woo didn’t get anywhere as time expired and the Bucs escaped with a win and took a 1.5-game lead on the Falcons for the NFC South lead.

Over the last couple weeks, details about Indiana Jones 5 have finally been slinking out into the open. We now know it takes place (mostly) in 1969, amidst the space race. We now know there’s a digitally de-aged version of its 80-year-old star, Harrison Ford. We finally has a trailer and a title. There’s still a lot being kept under wraps, but there have been plenty of rumors about wacky directions it could take. Many of those have been wrong, and the film’s director is sick of it. (No, not Steven Spielberg, who sat this one out after directing the previous four.)

“One more time. No one is ‘taking over’ or replacing Indy or donning his hat, nor is he being ‘erased’ through some contrivance,” tweeted James Mangold, of Logan and Ford v Ferrari. “And he never was, not in any cut or script — but trolls will troll — that’s how they get their clicks.”

He continued: “And please don’t exhaust me [by] pointing out how once in a while a troll is ‘right.’ Even a blind squirrel finds a nut now and then. All one has to do is look at set photos and interviews and you get enough info to make wild guesses about a movie plot.”

Mangold’s fury extended to certain press sites that actually disseminate said rumors. “The difference between trolling a-holes and everyone else is they [are] trying to make [money] off your feelings about other films and culture war politics,” Mangold railed. “They push controversial guesses as coming from ‘sources’ to gin up clicks. Let it go.”

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny is set to be released on June 30, 2023, a few weeks before its star turns 81. It’s his last ride as Indy, after over four decades, and he’s been unusually emotional about hanging up the whip, so please don’t ruin his vibes by sharing baseless nonsense.

Coming into this season there was hope that Kawhi Leonard would be a regular part of the Clippers rotation coming off of a year-long absence to rehab a torn ACL suffered in the 2021 Playoffs, but after starting the season coming off the bench in the L.A. opener and then their third game of the season, he took an extended absence to deal with continued discomfort. A three-game stretch in November again brought hope he might get back into the fold as a regular contributor, but he missed the last six games with continued injury issues — with Paul George also being out for that stretch — as the Clippers went 2-4.

Monday night brought some good news, though, as both George and Leonard returned to the lineup in Charlotte and helped lead the Clippers to a much-needed win — albeit it was harder fought than L.A. might’ve hoped. The Clippers led early and looked in control, up nine at halftime, but apart in the third quarter to trail by six going into the fourth quarter. They’d battle back to take the lead but saw it evaporate again thanks to some hot shooting from the likes of Kelly Oubre and Terry Rozier, and had to call on their stars to make big plays late.

Leonard, after a fairly quiet night, came alive when L.A. needed him most, getting back-to-back buckets in the final minute, first on a putback to tie the game (off a great play by George to tap a loose ball back towards Leonard under the hoop) and then what ended up being the game-winner with 1.4 seconds to play on a vintage stepback from the midrange.

Clippers fans at this point are aware that Leonard is going to miss games here and there, but it would certainly be nice if he can avoid some of the long, extended absences he’s had to take to start this season so the now 14-11 Clippers can try to establish a real rhythm. We’ll see if that can happen and it’s hard not to be skeptical given how little he’s been on the court, but in the meantime it’s nice to at least see these flashes of vintage Kawhi late-game performance.

The internet is questioning whether or not Summer Walker has the sense that God gave her. Moments after posting her maternity photos, the singer shared that she was looking for a personal assistant. Given that the “Over It” singer is currently on maternity leave, the need for additional help around the house seemed natural. However, there were a few stipulations that sent people into a frenzy.

In the Instagram stories post, the soon-to-be mother of two wrote, “Need a male assistant. $2,000 a month. Based in Atlanta. Have to have a car. How to know how to build stuff. Preferably white or gay.”

But fans need not apply as the singer was sure to include the following words: “And doesn’t give af about who I am or my music. Just need your to come to work.”

Fans were relentless on Twitter in sharing their thoughts on the job listing. Some questioned whether or not the open call was legal due to Summer’s listed preferred candidate. Others had a laugh at the singer’s expense, rehashing rumors that Walker couldn’t afford quality help due to her current record deal.
