Aaron Carter Was Working On A Vulnerable Memoir Before His Death And It’s Coming Out Soon

A few days ago, Aaron Carter passed away at 34 years old. Before his death, he was working on a memoir, which, despite being incomplete, is set to come out soon (as Billboard reports).

The book is titled Aaron Carter: An Incomplete Story Of An Incomplete Life and comes from over three years of interviews between Carter and author Andy Symonds.

In a statement, Symonds said, “Aaron was an open book during the writing process. It’s a tragic irony that his autobiography will never include all his stories, thoughts, hopes, and dreams as he intended.” Publisher Ballast Books also noted in a statement, “In the book, Aaron is honest, funny, irreverent, and self-aware with amazing recall about the stories that shaped a childhood star into a troubled but talented adult.”

The book touches on various topics, including how making beats saved Carter’s life when he was at low points. He told Symonds, “I was always suicidal, especially through those years. I never attempted suicide but never had anyone to talk to about it. But I knew I loved life too much to actually do it. Hopefully I won’t do it. Having lost my own family, I want to have my own. That’s the best feeling.”

A Freaked Out Doja Cat Begged Elon Musk To Help When She Realized She Couldn’t Change Her Gag Twitter Display Name Anymore

They sure don’t make Twitter like they used to, eh? A lot has been changing on the social media platform in a very short period of time since Elon Musk purchased Twitter for $44 billion and instantly made himself the company’s CEO and “Twitter Complaint Hotline Operator.” The latter is a title he assigned himself via his Twitter profile, right below his display name (Elon Musk) and his handle (@ElonMusk).

You see, those are the basic elements of a Twitter profile. While handles typically stay the same, many users frequently swap their display name for fun to be something thematic to major event or holiday, a pun, or as of late, to impersonate Elon Musk. But Doja Cat falls under the “for fun,” category, frequently swapping hers with the seasons. In fact, her current display name is “Christmas,” because well…you know, it’s coming. But she just found out that because of a new change to the platform, she might forever be known as Christmas on Twitter if Elon Musk doesn’t do something about it. “I don’t wanna be christmas forever @elonmusk please help i’ve made a mistake,” she tweeted.

Confused? Well the thing is, since Musk has been the subject of countless trolls following what even Fox News called an “embarrassing” plan to charge users for a verified account and blue checkmark, one of Twitter’s new policies makes it so that existing verified users can’t change their display names anymore. Looks like Musk hatched up a quick plan to combat those trolls, but left Doja Cat hanging in the process. So is Doja Cat going to be Christmas forever? Musk replied, but at first, her stream of consciousness tweets when she first found out what was happening were downright hilarious. First she realized it, then she immediately cursed at Musk.

It looks as though Twitter’s Complaint Hotline Operator has heard her pleading and quickly issued a response. “Working on it!” Musk replied to the “Kiss Me More” star. Before realizing what a great running joke he could hold over Doja Cat’s head if he just sat on his hands instead.

LeBron James Left The Lakers Loss To The Clippers With An Apparent Groin Injury

LeBron James returned to the court on Wednesday night after missing the Lakers most recent loss to the Jazz nursing a foot injury, telling reporters before the game the only way to heal was rest, but the 2-8 Lakers can’t afford to be without their star so he was going to play through it against the rival Clippers.

While James had it going to the tune of a 30-point night, it wasn’t enough with another lackluster shooting night around him to beat the Clippers, who won 114-101, and to make matters worse, LeBron left in the fourth quarter with just over five minutes to go, grabbing at his left groin area as he walked gingerly to the locker room.

There wasn’t a particularly clear moment where the injury occurred, as James didn’t have a slip or a particularly awkward step or landing, but the Lakers broadcast did pick up the first appearance of James seeming bothered by the injury after getting fouled on a post fadeaway.

It’s hard to see anything happen, but you can see the grimace on his face and he would leave the game for the locker room shortly after. The team quickly announced he would not return with “left leg soreness,” which is fairly vague and leaves the door open for it to be something other than his groin, even thought that’s what he’s grabbing at as he walks off the floor.

Any absence from LeBron is a disaster for a Lakers team that can’t win with him out there, and for the now 2-9 Lakers, being without James for an extended period would push them further and further from any hopes of salvaging this season. Hopefully it is a mild tweak and nothing more, but it remains to be seen what the official diagnosis will end up being.

It is notable that the left leg is the same leg that he had a groin injury in the 2018-19 season that caused him to miss 17 games over the course of a month-plus, before missing more time at the end of the season as the Lakers missed out on the postseason. Hopefully this is not as severe a situation, but there’s plenty of concern for the Lakers about the health of their star.

Bankroll Freddie Has Reportedly Been Arrested For Drugs And Firearms In Arkansas

According to TMZ, Bankroll Freddie has been arrested in a round-up of about 70 people being charged for firearms and drugs. This allegedly happened on Wednesday (November 9) in Arkansas because he and others are believed to have conspired to sell crack cocaine and marijuana between March 2021 and October 2022. Meanwhile, the rapper has other charges regarding weapons. Sources told TMZ that jewelry and cash were also seized.

“Law enforcement sources tell TMZ Hip Hop the 28-year Freddie Gladney was part of a massive 61-count indictment … along with 34 other defendants, and is currently in custody,” the outlet relayed.

In April, Freddie was pulled over for speeding and ended up being arrested and receiving a number of charges because cops allegedly found guns and narcotics in a pickup truck. He was charged with resisting arrest, drug and firearm possession, and speeding. He was subsequently held on a $2,870 bond. This was disappointing for many considering he had been on an upward journey; he signed to Quality Control at the end of 2019 and received a profile in XXL‘s “The Break” column. More recently, he was featured in Erica Banks’ “Nasty.”

There were also, at one point, rumors that Freddie had been shot. He seemed to confirm the gossip when he reposted a fan’s screenshot of one outlet’s headline about the situation and then followed it with a video in which he said, “I’m good,” while showing a wound on his chin.

Abby De La Rosa Clowns Nick Cannon’s Zodiac Sign While Seemingly Confirming She’s Carrying His 12th Child

It’s nearly impossible to keep up with Nick Cannon’s ever-expanding family tree. He warned us in June that he was “f*cking like crazy,” and by August, he confirmed his 10th child was on the way with Brittany Bell. The shelf life of that announcement was roughly two months, as Alyssa Scott shared she was pregnant in October with Cannon’s 11th child. If that wasn’t mind-boggling enough, Abby De La Rosa is here to further confuse us.

De La Rosa welcomed twin sons, Zion and Zillion, with Cannon in June 2021. This June, she revealed she was pregnant again. “Another set of twins?!” she wrote on Instagram, neglecting to mention the unborn baby’s (or babies’) father.

Yesterday (November 8), De La Rosa seemingly confirmed that Cannon is indeed the father. As captured by E! News, her since-expired Instagram Story featured a meme saying “1 night with a Libra can turn into 3-4 years” and De La Rosa responding with, “1 night turned into 4 years and 3 kids real quick…I see no lies here smh. Y’all be safe out there.” For fact-checking purposes, Cannon’s birthday is October 8 and firmly within Libra territory. And if my math is right, the baby will be Cannon’s 12th overall because of the announcements of Babies No. 10 and 11 between now and De La Rosa’s initial pregnancy reveal in June.

Cannon practices “consensual non-monogamy,” as he put it to DVSN and sex therapist Dr. Tammy Nelson in July. He shares 11-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with Mariah Carey, his ex-wife. Bell is the mother of five-year-old Golden, nearly two-year-old Powerful, and one-month-old Rise (the aforementioned Baby No. 10). Cannon and Scott are expecting and previously welcomed a son named Zen in July 2021, and the five-month-old tragically died from brain cancer last December. He shares his four-month-old son Legend with Bre Tiesi and his one-month-old daughter Onyx with LaNisha Cole.

Swifties Are Hoping For Taylor Swift To Re-Record ‘Reputation’ Soon Because Of Its Five-Year Anniversary

Taylor Swift’s massive Reputation album will celebrate its fifth anniversary on Thursday (November 10). Swifties have plenty to be excited about in the present. Her newest album Midnights shattered records en route to No. 1. Its tracklist made Swift the first-ever artist to monopolize the top 10 of Billboard‘s Hot 100. And she has announced her 2023 Eras Tour — her first tour since trekking through stadiums in support of Reputation. But no artist intertwines the past with the present quite like Swift.

Beginning in April 2021 with Fearless (Taylor’s Version) and continuing with last November’s Red (Taylor’s Version), Swift has been on a mission to re-record her first six albums. The point is to regain control of her masters after the controversial June 2019 sale of Big Machine Group to Scooter Braun’s Ithaca Holdings. Swift’s recent “Bejeweled” video suggested that her 2010 album Speak Now is next on the re-recording docket, but Swifties are already fantasizing about Reputation (Taylor’s Version).

Last November, The Wall Street Journal reported that Swift’s game-changing re-recording approach (and galactic success) aligned with Universal Music Group working to change its policy, “effectively doubling the amount of time that the contracts restrict an artist from rerecording their work.”

“Prior to Universal’s change, the industry’s standard rerecording restriction said an artist can’t rerecord until five years after the delivery of their last recording under the agreement, or two years from the end of the recording contract’s term, whichever is later,” WSJ‘s Anne Steele wrote at the time. “Universal’s new proposals increase those periods to seven and five years, respectively, and tack on another ‘seven year post period’ to the end of the rerecording restriction during which the artist is barred from rerecording more than two songs.” She added that “the changes predate Ms. Swift’s rerecording endeavor.”

Regardless, Swifties are demanding a re-recording of Reputation immediately. Check out some of the clamoring below.

Dave Bautista Says Daniel Craig Seemed Much, Much Happier Playing Benoit Blanc Than James Bond

Even before his Bond tenure was over, Daniel Craig had lucked into another franchise. With Knives Out, he got to play amateur sleuth Benoit Blanc. It’s a much more relaxed gig than 007. He gets to sit in cool chairs, solve some murders, do his best Foghorn Leghorn (again). For the first sequel, the forthcoming Glass Onion, he even got to reunite with a fellow Bond alum: Dave Bautista, who played a heavy in Spectre. That allowed Bautista to see two very different sides of the English actor.

“He was really put through it on Bond,” Bautista told Entertainment Weekly. “You could feel that he was under a lot of pressure. He didn’t seem like the happiest person on Bond, but on Glass Onion, it was the complete opposite.”

On the Knives Out sequel, Bautista said Craig “was just so much fun, and he was always smiling and happy and interacted a lot more. On Spectre, there wasn’t a whole lot of interaction with the whole cast. But Glass Onion was the complete opposite. We were always together. So I got to know him better as a person and actually see him do his thing.”

It blew Bautista’s mind seeing Craig’s range. “It’s really a weird thing when you watch someone transform from Bond to Benoit Blanc,” he said. “It’s amazing because I’m always in awe of people who can transform themselves like that. This is why I wanted to be an actor, because I wanted to be that guy. As odd as it sounds — because I look like a f*cking gorilla — I wanted to be a chameleon.”

Then again, Bautista is a chameleon. He can play the hilariously thick Drax the Destroyer in Guardians of the Galaxy. In Spectre, he’s a menace. In Glass Onion, he’s a YouTuber and Men’s Rights Activist. That’s three roles, all different. Not many other wrestlers-turned-actors have such range, other than Dwayne Johnson and John Cena, of course.

Jenna Ortega Promises ‘Most Aggressive And Violent Ghostface’ For ‘Scream 6’

The confusingly titled Scream kept the meta franchise alive with smarts and a stellar performance from Jenna Ortega. While she’s taken on the mantle of Wednesday Addams, she’ll also return for Scream 6, so she’s offering some early indications about how they’re going to alter the franchise in light of Neve Campbell‘s departure. Apparently, the idea is to crank the gore and action up to 11. When asked about Campbell’s absence, Ortega told Entertainment Tonight, “I feel like I can’t really speak too much on that just because it’s not necessarily my character. But I will say there’s so much going on in this next one, that it’s so action-heavy and so gore-heavy that I think you’re gonna be distracted almost.”

She also said there would be references to Sidney Prescott in the film, which isn’t surprising given that the movie will have to find its connective tissue there somewhere, even if Campbell isn’t on screen. Or maybe especially because she isn’t on screen.

“Ghostface gets a lot more intimidating,” Ortega added. “I just read part of the script, and it just gets more and more gory. I think that this is probably the most aggressive and violent version of Ghostface we’ve ever seen, which I think will really be fun to shoot.”

That may be a necessity for a franchise that doesn’t have a lot of creative wiggle room for its kills. On the other hand, Ghostface has stood apart from other slashers because of how clumsy and realistic the person behind the mask often is. Stabbing is messy work! It’s hard when beer bottles are being thrown at you.

The sequel, which takes the Woodsboro gang to New York City, is being directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett (Ready or Not, V/H/S) and should hit theaters March 10, 2023.

Meek Mill Announces The Release Date Of ‘Flamerz 5’ And Shares A Teaser Clip

Earlier this year, Meek Mill left Roc Nation with the explanation of “so I can take risk and grow,” and then he signed to WME. The rapper is back today with the Instagram announcement of a project called Flamerz 5, arriving November 21 and falling in line with his series of mixtapes that began in 2008.

“FLAMERZ 5 ‘for promotional use only’ NOV. 21st 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 for free for the streets,” he wrote on the app, sharing a clip teaser of a flow and sparking excitement from tons of fans in the comments.

If you keep up with Meek’s socials, this mixtape definitely isn’t a surprise. On October 31, he tweeted, “Flamerz 5 in 2 weeks.” It looks like he pushed it back a week, but at least it’s still coming this month.

In August, Mill was one of the topics in Jay-Z’s verse of his and DJ Khaled’s “God Did,” the title track of Khaled’s album. “Me and Meek could never beef,” Jay-Z raps, and then continues: “I freed that n**** from a whole bid.” It’s a reference to when Jay helped Mill in securing an end to his incarceration for a parole violation in 2018.
