Offset Wrote A Heartbreaking Letter To Takeoff Reflecting On His Death: ‘I Wish I Could Hug You One Last Time’

It seems Offset has needed some time to collect and organize his thoughts about the death of cousin and fellow Migos member Takeoff. The day after Takeoff passed on November 1, Offset changed his Instagram profile picture to a photo of Takeoff and that was as close as he came to offering a statement. Now, though, he has shared a touching post reflecting on Takeoff.

The first slide is a letter addressed to Takeoff, which begins, “Dear Take, The pain you have left me with is unbearable. My heart is shattered and I have so many things to say, but I can’t find the words. I’ve been going to sleep and waking up hoping that all of this is a dream, but it’s reality, and reality feels like a nightmare. Every time you would see me, you didnt give me a dap you gave me a hug. I wish I could hug you one last time.”

The post also includes some photos and videos of them together and of just Takeoff.

Find the full post below.

“Dear Take,
The pain you have left me with is unbearable.
My heart is shattered and I have so many things to say,
but I can’t find the words.
I’ve been going to sleep
and waking up hoping that all of this is a dream,
but it’s reality, and reality feels like a nightmare.
Every time you would see me, you didnt give me a dap you gave me a hug.
I wish I could hug you one last time.
Laugh one last time.
Smoke one one last time.
Perform one last time.
I know someone with a soul like yours is in heaven now.
I hope you can see how much we love you and miss you.
You have left a hole in my heart that will never be filled.
Give me strength,
give your brothers strength,
give your family strength.
Even though I know you will always be with us,
throw me a lil sign or a beautiful dream.
I love you forever,
4L and after.

Bad Bunny received three Grammy Award nominations this year. His blockbuster LP Un Verano Sin Ti is up for Album Of The Year. Bad Bunny faces competition from heavy-hitters like Beyoncé, Adele, Harry Styles, and Kendrick Lamar. He has the sole Spanish-language track in the Best Pop Solo Performance category for “Moscow Mule.” Un Verano Sin Ti is also nominated for Best Música Urbana Album. Daddy Yankee, Maluma, Rauw Alejandro, and Farruko round out the category.

Rosalía also received two Grammy Award nominations. She is up for Best Music Film for the TikTok performance of her Motomami album. The LP is up for Best Latin Rock Or Alternative Album. Rosalía faces competition from Cimafunk, Jorge Drexler, Mon Laferte, Gaby Moreno, and Fito Paez.

Seth Meyers Is Having A LOT Of Fun Watching Once-Dedicated MAGA ‘A**holes’ Turn On Donald Trump

Seth Meyers has the perfect idea of things that are fun. Examples? Watching Lauren Boebert possibly lose her reelection campaign. Explaining, in detail, why Ted Cruz is a “craven ghoul.” Or telling really ANY story about Rudy Giuliani — but especially the one about how the former New York City mayor’s epic poo might have permanently tainted the air on Air Force One. But since last week’s midterm elections, the Late Night host has found a new source of constant entertainment: Watching former MAGA stooges turn on Donald Trump.

On Monday night, Meyers was excited to share the news that the latest elections allowed “Democrats to defy the odds and defy history to produce one of the best midterm performances for the party in power in political history. And now that reality has set in, Republicans are furiously pointing fingers at each other, looking for someone to blame. And honestly, it is kind of fun to watch.”

“Kind of fun” is a bit of an understatement, at least when it comes to seeing longtime supporters who stuck with Trump from his two impeachments to the Capitol insurrection finally start to spew venom in the former president’s direction. As Meyers shared:

Alabama congressman Mo Brooks, who was once a huge Trump supporter and even spoke at the Capitol on January 6, called Trump “dishonest, disloyal, incompetent, and crude.” Which is true, but Trump didn’t prove that last week. It’s just last week there were consequences…

Still, it’s so great to watch these a**holes turn on each other. They’re like a bunch of roommates who got a pet cougar and now they’re like, ‘Has anyone seen Dave?’

Beyoncé Is The Most-Nominated Artist At The 2023 Grammy Awards

The Recording Academy just finished announcing the full list of nominees for the 2023 Grammys. Now that the dust is starting to settle, it’s clear that Beyoncé fared extremely well. In fact, she had the most nominations out of anybody this year, with nine in total.

She is in consideration for Record Of The Year (“Break My Soul“), Best R&B Song (“Cuff It”), Best Traditional R&B Performance (“Plastic Off The Sofa”), Best R&B Performance (“Virgo’s Groove”), Best Song Written For Visual Media (“Be Alive” from King Richard), Song Of The Year (“Break My Soul”), Best Dance Recording (“Break My Soul”), Best Dance/Electronic Album (Renaissance), and Album Of The Year (also for Renaissance).

Being at this level of success actually isn’t uncommon for Beyoncé. In 2010, she had 10 nominations, while she also previously had nine in 2021 and 2017. She was a few awards shy of the all-time single-year record: Michael Jackson (1984) and Babyface (1997) have each had 12 nominations; Kendrick Lamar (2016) and Jon Batiste (2022) have each had 11; and Lauryn Hill (1999), Kanye West (2005), Beyoncé (2010), and Eminem (2011) have had 10.

This year’s nominations actually bumped her up to 88 total over the course of her career, which just helped her tie husband Jay-Z for the most ever.

Kelela Goes ‘On The Run’ In A Hypnotic New Song And Announces Her Sophomore Album ‘Raven’

Kelela dropped her new single, “On The Run,” along with an announcement for her sophomore album, Raven. Produced by Yo van Lenz, Kelela, Kaytranada, Bambii, and Asmara, “On The Run” is a hypnotic, R&B track blended with hints of an electronic club-ready influence as she explores what it’s like to love. The stunning song follows Kelela’s previously-released “Happy Ending” and “Washed Away” — which will also appear on her forthcoming album.

“I started this process from the feeling of isolation and alienation I’ve always had as a black femme in dance music, despite its black origins,” she shared in a press release. “Raven is my first breath taken in the dark, an affirmation of black femme perspective in the midst of systemic erasure and the sound of our vulnerability turned to power.”

By the time Kelela’s new album arrives early next year, she has already made a significant name for herself in music. Her debut studio album drew positive critical attention and she’s done several notable collaborations with Solange, Gorillaz, and more. Her official return has been years in the making and has been incredibly welcomed by fans.

Listen to “On The Run” above. Below, find the Raven album art and tracklist.

Ticketmaster Issued A Statement About The Bonkers Taylor Swift Ticketing Queue And The Word ‘Sorry’ Wasn’t In There

Presale tickets to Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour went on-sale today via *gasp* Ticketmaster and getting through the ticketing queue has been a Herculean task. Ticketmaster’s servers were in no shape or form ready for the barrage (“millions”) of Swifties and ticket bots that desperately lined up in a virtual queue for a chance to see Taylor Swift perform live or to price gouge someone else on the re-sale market who wasn’t as fortunate. And people spared no emotions in expressing how frustrated they were.

“I just hope Taylor knows we aren’t mad at her, we’re mad at Ticketmaster,” read one user’s tweet. Accurately summing up how artists are often left to shoulder the blame for Ticketmaster’s lagging tech, or unpredictable pricing structures (just ask Bruce Springsteen).

You’d think that by now, Ticketmaster would have the capacity to handle any level of interest in ticketing demand? But no, the world’s foremost ticketing monopoly continues to be a frustrating mess time and time again. With that, Ticketmaster issues a statement via their Ticketmaster Fan Support Twitter account (thoughts and prayers with whoever runs that feed) and the word “sorry” was nowhere to be found. Instead, it reads like one big run around way of saying “calm down everyone… please calm down.”

It begins with the admission, “There has been historically unprecedented demand with million showing up to buy tickets for the Taylor Swift Presale.” It then devolves into a laundry list of the best corporate speak possible, including the new that the West Coast pre-sale will be delayed by five hours from 10 a.m. PT to 3 p.m. PT, and the Capital One on sale getting re-scheduled for Wednesday instead. Read their statement below.

How Much Does Nick Cannon Pay In Child Support?

Nick Cannon recently revealed that his growing number of children had caused a significant hit to his pockets.

It’s been estimated that the Masked Singer host pays nearly $3 million in child support, but Cannon alleges it is presumably much more than that.

“I definitely spend a lot more than that on my children annually,” Cannon revealed to The Neighborhood Talk. “I don’t plan to ever have to participate in the governmental system of a child.”

This past September, Cannon welcomed his tenth child with model Brittney Bell.

His eleventh child with Alyssa Scott, who is also the mother to Cannon’s child Zen, unfortunately, died from a brain tumor last year at just five months old.

More recently, Cannon announced that he would be again fathering yet another child with Abby De La Rosa — who is also the mother of their one-and-a-half-year-old twins, Zion and Zillion Cannon — making this his fourth baby announcement of the year.

The internet has wasted no time poking at Cannon, who seems to be working on making his starting basketball lineup, alleging that he is the cause of the world’s overpopulation.

It seems that Cannon is working on the second decade of children with each baby announcement. His one-person mission to populate a small community isn’t slowing down anytime soon. We can expect quite a few announcements in the forthcoming year. Despite joking about getting a vasectomy last spring, he has not yet made a move.

Vladimir Putin Has Expanded His Draft, But Wealthy Russians Are Finding A Loophole, Of Course

Vladimir Putin’s senseless Ukraine war continues, even though it’s not continuing too well for him. The Russian president’s finally lost the backing of one of his biggest allies, and Putin cannot keep the battlefields going while running companies at abysmally low levels. This is good news for Ukraine, obviously, since they’ve been snatching up abandoned Russian tanks. However, elite Russian soldiers have had it with being used as “cannon fodder,” so Putin’s expanding his already expansive draft.

The Wall Street Journal reports that Putin has added dual Russian citizens to those eligible to be called up for fighting. This means that Steven Seagal is eligible as well as Edward Snowden, which cannot be an enjoyable revelation for the latter after all those jokes. However, any dual citizens that happen to also be wealthy will likely breathe easy. It should come as no surprise that those with means are able to altogether avoid Putin’s draft because, as Fox News reveals (via Bloomberg), Granada is here for those with open wallets:

Wealthy Russians have increasingly been attempting to avoid being drafted into Russian President Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine by applying for citizenship in the Caribbean nation of Grenada.

Russians with the financial means to do so have been applying for citizenship in Grenada through an investment initiative that allows an applicant to receive a passport to the country for a minimum investment of $150,000 or a government approved real estate purchase at a cost of $350,000, Bloomberg reported.

This passport also allows for Russians to head to the U.S. without much sweat at all, and as Bloomberg reports, Grenada is reaping the financial benefits. Back in June, they lifted their ban on Russian’s applying for Grenadian citizenship, but now, the money is flowing. Putin cannot be thrilled, but then again, he’s awfully busy fretting about other things at the moment.

Denzel Curry Is Upset With The Grammys’ 2023 Best Rap Album Category: ‘I Can Name You 10 Other Albums’

Carol City rapper Denzel Curry is not a fan of this year’s Grammy awards nominations, and he has no problem showing it. As the Recording Academy hosted its annual nomination stream to reveal the nominees in each category, Curry was not impressed by the names mentioned in this year’s rap categories.

Several of the genre’s newer acts earned their first nominations, including GloRilla, Latto, and Tobe Nwingwe. Kendrick Lamar led the hip-hop pack with 6 nominations, including a nod for both Rap Album of The Year and Album of the Year. Despite this, the “Ultimate” rapper remained unimpressed, writing on Twitter, “but for the rap album category, I can literally name you 10 other albums,” adding, “congrats to kdot and push but all that other sh*t come on bruh.”

Although Curry didn’t outright say his album, Melt My Eyez See Your Future, should have been nominated because it was released during the ceremony’s eligibility period (October. 1, 2021, to Sept. 30, 2022), fans of the musician chimed in to advocate on his behalf.

Others joined the conversation adding the names of the albums they felt were snubbed. The two most mentioned albums in the thread were Future’s I Never Liked You and JID’s The Forever Story (which was released on the same day as DJ Khaled).

If Denzel Curry is upset now, wait until the actual winners are revealed.

The 65th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony will be held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on February 5, 2023. The ceremony will be broadcasted live on the CBS Television Network and streamed live and on-demand on Paramount+.

Former Democratic Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard Has Joined Fox News And, Again, Literally No One Is Surprised

A month after dropping the extremely unsurprising “bombshell” that she’s left the Democratic Party, former Hawaiian congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard has officially joined Fox News as a paid contributor. Not only that, but Gabbard kicked off her new stint by filling in for Tucker Carlson on Monday night thanks to the two of them having almost identical political views. As for how that’s possible if Gabbard was a Democrat, well, to put it bluntly she was barely one.

When Gabbard left the party, it wasn’t exactly a shocking decision to anyone who closely followed her proximity to MAGA views and Donald Trump. Hillary Clinton took things even further by famously insinuating (without specifically naming her) that Gabbard is a Russian asset, so her jump to Fox News is yet another predictable move. Via Los Angeles Times:

A representative for the conservative-leaning cable channel confirmed Gabbard signed a deal Monday and will start appearing on its programs next week.

Gabbard, 41, pursued the 2020 Democratic nomination for president. But she has been distancing herself from the party ever since and has appeared as a frequent guest on Fox News, including its most-watched shows, “The Five” and “Tucker Carlson Tonight.”

Following the reveal that Gabbard and Fox News finally put a ring on their relationship, the reactions on Twitter all had a very similar theme: Who didn’t see this coming? Gabbard has been a frequent guest on Tucker Carlson’s show and didn’t hesitate to hop on the “anti-woke” bandwagon. The only thing surprising is that this didn’t happen sooner.

You can see the reactions to Gabbard joining Fox News below:
