Drake Shares His Favorite Porn Category And Talks Monogamy With 21 Savage In A Spoof Howard Stern Interview

Drake and 21 Savage are releasing their joint album, Her Loss, on Friday (November 4). Or, at lease we think that’s the truth. We should have known how this rollout was going to go when 21 denied its existence in the comments days before it was confirmed in the “Jimmy Cooks” video. Believe nothing.

Tonight (November 2), Drake posted a clip of an interview with Howard Stern to Instagram with the caption, “Absolutely NO filter with the incomparable @sternshow 🥀 thanks for having us.” It’s safe to assume it’s a cleverly edited spoof based on the photoshopped Vogue cover and fake NPR Music Tiny Desk Concert. But its validity is obsolete, really, because the subject matter is still entertaining, and it’s generating more buzz than a traditional press run.

In the clip dated October 26, 2022, Stern asks, “What type of porn are you watching?” It cuts from a split screen to Drake and 21 Savage on a set meant to emulate Stern’s but never shows all three of them at once. “Top,” Drake responds. “Highest tier of top givers. That’s really what I’m consistently, like on a daily basis, tuned into. Just really, like, those are the real superstars of the world to me.”

“And what about love?” Stern asks. “Could you ever commit to one woman? Be married. You could be married?”

“I wanna hear his answer,” 21 says, before Drake takes over, “I’m sure I could, you know? I think that, eventually, once all this is said and done for us and that addiction of work and success and forward movement is over, I feel like we’re all gonna need something real. Hopefully, it’s not too late. But then, right now, I feel like I get into this habit of dating four or five women to make one woman because I like these two things about this girl, and then I like what this girl does for a living. Honestly, I don’t know — hopefully I’ll find somebody. The biggest thing is I need to be inspired.”

Watch the full clip below.

Her Loss is out 11/4.

Tyler James Williams Impressed Many With His ‘F.N.F.’ Freestyle On ‘Sway In The Morning’

Tyler James Williams has relentlessly proved himself as an actor with his roles in Everybody Hates Chris, The Walking Dead, and more recently Abbott Elementary. But today (November 2), he unexpectedly proved himself as a rapper. As a guest on Sway in the Morning, he engaged in a freestyle that has since gone viral on social media.

Williams broke out in a flow over Hitkidd and GloRilla’s “F.N.F.” He kept it up for a full minute and a half — prompting many people to both fawn over his deep baritone and be in awe of his uninterrupted rap. A lot of people are making references to his role in Let It Shine, saying that his musical talent isn’t that surprising.

“F.N.F.” is actually at the center of a legal battle. “So basically these folks are trying to take me to court over ‘FNF’ because they want to OWN the song,” Hitkidd wrote last month. “BUT they want to own the song to put it on this EP which both parties knew. So tell me how you gone PUT ‘FNF’ in your contract without telling me, AFTER I told you & your MANAGER everyday that we was in LA with Saweetie, that labels are going to try to sign you because of FNF so watch out.”

Colt Cabana Made His AEW Return And Fans Couldn’t Resist CM Punk Jokes

It’s been nearly two months since CM Punk went nuclear in his post-match press conference on his relationship with Colt Cabana and what led to their friendship ending before ultimately reportedly fighting the Young Bucks and Kenny Omega backstage.

While there hasn’t been any official announcement on Punk’s future or the status of the Bucks and Omega, the writing has been pretty clearly on the wall in recent weeks with first the AEW Twitter account teasing the return of the Bucks and Omega and later Wednesday night Cabana returning as the surprise challenger for Chris Jericho’s ROH world championship.

When Cabana appeared as the challenger, fans on Twitter couldn’t help taking shots at Punk upon his nemesis once again appearing on AEW.

Cabana ultimately came up short in the match, but the message Tony Khan is sending seems quite clear on which side the promotion has chosen.

Punk’s falling out with Cabana stemmed from his infamous podcast appearance post-WWE that resulted in lawsuits against WWE doctor Dr. Chris Amann, and later lawsuits brought against each other. After it was reported that Punk had some involvement in Cabana, who was part of the AEW roster a year ago, being sent to ROH, Tony Khan came out in defense of Punk. We’ll see what this means for Cabana’s status in AEW and ROH, but it’s appearing less likely by the day that Punk will step foot in AEW again.

Republican Insiders Are Pretty Sure Ron DeSantis Isn’t Brave Enough To Run Against Trump If He Runs In 2024

For the last couple years, Ron DeSantis has come off like a tough guy. He didn’t need your vaccine mandates or masks or social distancing. He could bully kids in front of television cameras, and none of his base would care. His ego got so big that he even quietly came for the king himself: Donald Trump, his most famous resident, who hates his guts because he thinks he’ll challenge him for the 2024 presidential bid. Well, turns out even DeSantis may find that a bridge too far.

Vanity Four spoke to four Republican insiders, asking if they thought DeSantis would run if Trump decided he was as well. The answer: probably not. One, who had spoken to Republican donors, said, “He’s led them to believe he will not run if Trump does.”

Another pointed out that he’s only 44, with half of his whole life ahead of him. Why risk alienating the party by going head-to-head with its big cheese (who lives in a resort, ranting to strangers). “He can walk into the presidency in 2028 without pissing off Trump or Florida,” the source told VF. “What would you rather do? Be the governor of Florida for certain or go run for president?”

As of now, DeSantis and Trump remain at loggerheads. “They hate each other,” a source said, bluntly. But while Trump is famously petty, he’s also famously forgiving — provided one flip-flops to his side. After all, he’s about to campaign for Marco Rubio, whom he’s been known to flay on live television. Besides, as embattled as Trump is on many sides, it’s not like he can’t run for president from prison.

Is Netflix’s ‘From Scratch’ Based On A True Story?

Warning: This post contains spoilers for From Scratch.

Last month, Netflix viewers fell in love with a new limited series. From Scratch stars Zoe Saldana as Amy, an American student studying abroad in Italy who falls in love with a Sicilian chef named Lino (Eugenio Mastrandrea). It starts off romantic enough. But keep watching and things soon turn heavy. Given all the melodramatic turns, it seems like it could be purest fiction. But is it?

The answer is: no — for the most part. From Scratch is based upon the memoir of the same name by Tembi Locke. The version that made it to the small screen — with help from Locke herself — takes a fair amount of liberties with the true story. For one thing, the names are changed. Thembi is named Amy. Lino was really named Rosario, or “Saro.” For another, some of the events were altered. It’s true that Locke moved back to the U.S., leaving Saro behind, as in the show. But in real life, Saro eventually moved with her to Los Angeles.

But some things are exactly like they were in real life — or close enough to it. For instance, the Florence apartment where Amy meets Lino was next to Locke’s real apartment. What’s more, the part where Lino stands in the rain is exactly where Saro once stood. That bar Amy works at? It was the exact one that Saro owned. A cooking scene, in which Amy uses too much vinegar, was inspired by a similar real-life incident. Indeed, a lot of the smaller, more intimate moments in the show are at least inspired by things that really happened.

Some of the bigger ones happened, too. Locke and Saro did adopt a daughter, as Amy and Lino do on the show. Locke also did go to Sicily to bury Saro, as happens in the show.

So there you have it: Like most films inspired by real life, certain liberties are taken, but the Netflix Like Scratch isn’t all that different from the Real McCoy. Still, however much it may make viewers weep into soiled hankies, at least it’s not upsetting like other Netflix docudrama series like Inventing Anna or Dahmer.

Pinch Yourself: ‘Sandman’ Has Been Renewed At Netflix For Season 2

Just as Morpheus returns every 100 years to The Tavern of the White Horse, Sandman will return to Netflix for a second season (and it won’t take a century to see it). This is truly joyful news, especially after a bogus Twitter account claimed that the show had been cancelled just a few days ago.

It’s probably hard to fool the guy who knows whether his show is coming back or not. For good measure, DC Comics tweeted about the show coming back only to delete the tweet, sending some mixed messages. This announcement brings fans out of the hellscape of uncertainty and into the hellscape where Gwendoline Christie rules.

With the Tom Sturridge-starring series coming back, there are two natural directions to go. The first is to cover the events of “The Doll’s House,” which is its own epic, potentially season-long arc. The second is to keep pushing on the intrigue of “the prodigal” — another sibling of the endless who has abandoned their post.

There’s no word yet on which direction they’ll go, but it’s an easy guess that Vivienne Acheampong and Patton Oswalt should return as Lucienne and Matthew the Raven respectively. Fingers are crossed as tightly as possible for Kirby Howell-Baptiste to come back as Death, and, if we’re all good little boys and girls, maybe they’ll even have room for a Johanna Constantine spin-off special episode starring Jenna Coleman.

For now? PHEW. Time to rewatch the first season again.

Jeff Jarrett Joined AEW And Hit Darby Allin With A Guitar

Jeff Jarrett has had quite the 2022, guest refereeing WWE SummerSlam, partnering with Jay Lethal in defeat to Ric Flair and his son-in-law, Andrade El Idolo, at the Ric Flair’s Last Match event, and now joining AEW.

On Wednesday night Dynamite, Lethal settled the score with Darby Allin thanks to some help from Sonjay Dutt, Satnam Singh, and a new colleague, Cole Karter. Dressed up as Sting, Karter hit Allin in the ribs with a bat, setting him up for Lethal Injection and the win for Lethal. After the match, while Sting’s music played, Jarrett hit the ring from behind, turned Allin and snapped a guitar shot to the head, busting him open in the process.

After the guitar shot, Jarret chastised Allin, telling him he just got a lesson from the last outlaw and whatever you worship becomes your weakness.

Jarrett proceeded to call out the locker room, the announce team, the production team and the AEW fan base, talking up his family’s participation in the pro wrestling business for over 75 years. Jarrett ended his debut to a chorus of “You still suck” chants while telling the audience before he’s done in AEW, there’s going to be full body bags.

Selena Gomez Addressed Her Surprising Photo With Hailey Bieber

Selena Gomez’s My Mind & Me Apple TV+ documentary premieres Friday (November 4), and a new Vulture profile dives into the doc’s intimate and excruciatingly vulnerable subject matter — a lupus diagnosis, a kidney transplant, a McLean Hospital stay that led to a bipolar diagnosis, the crushing weight of celebrity on her mental health, and even more. At the end of the thought-provoking interview with Gomez and My Mind & Me director Alek Keshishian, one question still needed to be asked.

“I also wanted to ask — that recent photo released of you and Hailey Bieber felt full circle. What was the story behind it? I thought it was powerful of you guys to publicly be like, ‘We’re moving on,’” writer Rachel Handler asked.

Gomez didn’t mince words: “Yeah, it’s not a big deal. It’s not even a thing.”

The photo in question was taken last month at the 2nd Annual Academy Of Motion Pictures Gala in Los Angeles. Photographer Tyrell Hampton captioned it, “plot twist.”

Bieber and Gomez’s photo came on the heels of Bieber opening up on the September 27 episode of Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast about the public’s misconceptions over the timeline of her relationship with her husband of four years, Justin Bieber, and his involvement with Gomez. The model and Rhode founder was asked if she and Gomez had “ever [been] with Justin romantically at the same time.” Bieber said, “No, not one time,” and went on to set the record straight about what happened (and didn’t happen) in 2018 when she reconnected with Bieber and swiftly got engaged. (Bieber had been linked to Gomez earlier in the year.)

“The timeline also that I think sometimes is in question of us getting back together and getting engaged and him having been spending time with his ex before that … I understand, again, how it looks from the outside, and there’s a lot of perception there, but that was a situation where I know for a fact that it was the right thing for them to close that door,” Bieber told Cooper. “They were not in a relationship at that time. But of course, there’s a very long history there. It’s not my relationship. It has nothing to do with me, so I respect that a lot, but I know that it closed a chapter. I think it was the best thing that could have happened for him to move on and be engaged and get married and move on with his life in that way.”

Elsewhere in the episode, Bieber discussed the online harassment she faces because of her high-profile relationship, Gomez’s fans taunting her at this year’s Met Gala, and she expressed an utmost respect for Gomez. “[Gomez] doesn’t owe me anything. Neither of us owe anybody anything, except respect. I respect her a lot,” she said. Bieber also noted that she has communicated in some way with Gomez since her 2018 marriage, and “that’s why I’m like, it’s all respect. It’s all love. That’s also why I feel like, well, if everybody on our side knows what happened and we’re good and we could walk away from it with clarity and respect, then that’s fine.”

Well, Sh*t: ‘Tuca & Bertie’ Has Been Canceled (For A Second Time)

In the lamest entertainment news of the day, the visionary Tuca & Bertie has once again been canceled. After finding a new life at Adult Swim following its cancellation from Netflix, it turns out that the crown jewel of offbeat animation struggled to find an audience for the bodacious adventures of the avian odd couple voiced by Tiffany Hadish and Ali Wong.

Creator Lisa Hanawalt addressed the cancelation with grace and diplomacy, thanking Adult Swim for smart guidance and imploring fans to pay attention to the names of everyone who made the show possible in the credits. She closed her message saying, “I still have a beautiful and weird ending to T&B in mind, hopefully someday we’ll get a chance to finish this story. . . I’ve witnessed so many people connecting with this show on a profound level, and I intend to keep telling stories like this, no matter what.”

Here’s a thought: someone else needs to pick this ball up and run with it. Hanawalt has put out the creator’s distress signal, and hopefully someone smart enough will reach out with a second life preserver so that, at the very least, the story can come to a truly satisfying (and weird!) conclusion. If Community can eke it out…

Aubrey Plaza Will Get Witchy For The ‘WandaVision’ Spin-Off ‘Agatha: Coven Of Chaos’

If you’re looking to assemble a coven, Aubrey Plaza is probably one of your first calls. Right after a good wormwood dealer. That’s clutch.

Naturally, Disney+ and the Marvel team have made the call to Plaza for the upcoming Agatha: Coven of Chaos. According to Variety, that is the full extent of all the information known at this time about her involvement with the project which sees Kathryn Hahn reprise her role as the delightfully villainous Salem-surviving witch who tormented Wanda in WandaVision.

This comes on the heels of the series hiring rising Heartstopper star Joe Locke in a role that’s also carefully guarded by the Marvel spoiler police, although we also know that Emma Caulfield Ford is returning for the spin-off in her WandaVision role of social maven Dottie. After waking from the spell, Dottie (aka Sarah Proctor) was choked by Scarlet Witch, so she may very well be out for revenge.

Since we’re left to rampantly speculate, it’s my personal hope that Plaza is playing a gender-bent Nicholas Scratch so she can study under Agatha and wield the Satan Staff.

Whatever role she’s playing, Agatha: Coven of Chaos offers Plaza the opportunity to work with Parks and Rec teammate Hahn again and, potentially, have an Ingrid Goes West reunion with Elizabeth Olsen if Scarlet Witch makes an appearance.

The series is set for release some time in 2023.
