Kacey Musgraves Made A Cameo On ‘Sesame Street’ To Sing A Disco-Pop Banger About Colors

Sesame Street may be a show for kids, but they continuously book talent that’s relevant for any adult viewers out there (Sopranos actor James Gandolfini once talked about dealing with fear on an episode). Grammy Award-winning singer Kacey Musgraves has made her way on the show a few times and even turned Ernie’s “Rubber Duckie” song into a country-pop hit. Now once again making an appearance on the screen with several Muppets, Musgraves returned to Sesame Street to sing another tune.

The singer’s cameo begins with her coming to Elmo with a “big problem.” She can’t seem to decide which color is her favorite and is looking for some advice. That kicks off a synth-heavy disco-pop banger where Musgraves sings about what she loves about every color of the rainbow.

Musgraves has done more than sing songs on Sesame Street. Earlier this year, the singer proved that the kids show can also be fashionable. Musgraves teamed up with the fashion brand Moschino to be the face of their Sesame Street collaboration. She posed in expensive outfits inspired by characters like Cookie Monster, Elmo, and Big Bird (who for some bizarre reason recently became a talking point among anti-vaxxers).

Watch Musgraves sing a song about colors of the rainbow on Sesame Street above.

Twenty-Six Year Old Giannis Antetokounmpo On Why He Opted For A Layup To Beat The Hornets: ‘I’m Getting Old’

The Milwaukee Bucks played a thriller against the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday night. Despite the latest masterclass from LaMelo Ball — 36 points, nine assists, five rebounds, three steals, a block, and an insane three to tie things up with less than 10 seconds left in regulation — the Bucks were able to ride a monster night from Giannis Antetokounmpo to a 127-125 win at Fiserv Forum.

Ball’s off-the-dribble triple set the stage for overtime, but Antetokounmpo’s final bucket of the game capped off a 40-point, 12-rebounds, 9-assist evening. He was able to get the ball with a head of steam and get to the rim, where he opted for a cheeky layup despite a challenge from PJ Washington. It went in, the building exploded, and Bucks fans went home happy.

After the game, Antetokounmpo was asked about his finish, and made clear that he believes he can’t just default for dunking over people because he is getting a little long in the tooth.

“I’m getting old,” Antetokounmpo said. “I’m not able to dunk on people no more, so I’ve got to be sneaky.”

Aside from the very good answer about how and why he opted for this kind of layup — it was because he knew, in that position, he had to go for a floater or something he snuck in with a bit of English — it is worth mentioning that Antetokounmpo is 26 years old and turns 27 on Dec. 6. Please don’t stop dunking on people any time soon, Giannis.

Jay-Z’s Latest Tidal Playlist Highlights Mach-Hommy, MF DOOM, And Vince Staples

Jay-Z’s playlists on Tidal have become a tradition of sorts, not just allowing him to stay in touch with fans — something he obviously cares very much about, judging from his recent drop-in on Twitter Spaces — but also to show off his musical knowledge, which he also seems to care about a lot.

His latest list has arrived to commemorate the renaming of financial services tech company Square to Block, as soon-to-be-former Twitter CEO and Square co-founder Jack Dorsey announced on Wednesday this week (after roasting Facebook’s re-brand, no less). Square also recently purchased Tidal, which helped Jay-Z secure a seat on Square’s board of directors. Therefore, the new playlist, “Block Vibes,” is a celebration of the change, of sorts, as well as an interesting marketing ploy, introducing the new name and demonstrating synergy across the new brand, which also encircles Cash App.

The list once again showcases Jay’s expansive tastes, including up-and-coming rappers like Mach-Hommy and Vince Staples, backpack rap stalwarts Madlib and MF DOOM, eclectic bands Haitus Kaiyote and Khruangbin, and rising Afrobeats stars Tems and Wizkid.

In addition to being folded into Block’s overall corporate structure, Tidal also recently revamped its artist payment system and added a free tier to allow for ads and better payouts to the artists that make the business all its money.

Listen to Jay-Z’s new “Block Vibes” playlist below.

Meet the first four winners of Upworthy’s Kindness Fund

The day was scorching hot, but the weather wasn’t going to stop a Star Wars Stormtrooper from handing out school supplies to a long line of eager children. “You guys don’t have anything illegal back there – any droids or anything?” the Stormtrooper asks, making sure he was safe from enemies before handing over a colorful backpack to a smiling boy.

The man inside the costume is Yuri Williams, founder of AFutureSuperhero And Friends, a Los Angeles nonprofit that uplifts and inspires marginalized people with small acts of kindness.

Yuri’s organization is one of four inaugural grant winners from the Upworthy Kindness Fund, a joint initiative between Upworthy and GoFundMe that celebrates kindness and everyday actions inspired by the best of humanity. This year, the Upworthy Kindness Fund is giving $100,000 to grassroots changemakers across the world.

To apply, campaign organizers simply tell Upworthy how their kindness project is making a difference. Between now and the end of 2021, each accepted individual or organization will receive $500 towards an existing GoFundMe and a shout-out on Upworthy.

Meet the first four winners:

1: Balance Dance Project: This studio aims to bring accessible dance to all in the Sacramento, CA area. Lead fundraiser Miranda Macias says many dancers spend hours a day at Balance practicing contemporary, lyrical, hip-hop, and ballet. Balance started a GoFundMe to raise money to cover tuition for dancers from low-income communities, buy dance team uniforms, and update its facility. The $500 contribution from the Kindness Fund nudged Balance closer to its $5,000 goal.

2: Citizens of the World Mar Vista Robotics Team: In Los Angeles, middle school teacher James Pike is introducing his students to the field of robotics via a Lego-building team dedicated to solving real-world problems.

James started a GoFundMe to crowdfund supplies for his students’ team ahead of the First Lego League, a school-against-school matchup that includes robotics competitions. The team, James explained, needed help to cover half the cost of the pricey $4,000 robotics kit. Thanks to help from the Upworthy Kindness Fund and the generosity of the Citizens of the World Middle School community, the team exceeded its initial fundraising goal.

3: Black Fluidity Tattoo Club: Kiara Mills and Tann Parker want to fix a big problem in the tattoo industry: there are too few Black tattoo artists. To tackle the issue, the duo founded the Black Fluidity Tattoo Club to inspire and support Black tattooers. While the Brooklyn organization is open to any Black person, Kiara and Tann specifically want to encourage dark-skinned artists to train in an affirming space among people with similar identities.

To make room for newcomers, the club recently moved into a larger studio with a third station for apprentices or guest artists. Unlike a traditional fundraiser that supports the organization exclusively, Black Fluidity Tattoo Club will distribute proceeds from GoFundMe directly to emerging Black tattoo artists who are starting their own businesses. The small grants, supported in part with a $500 contribution from the Upworthy Kindness Fund, will go towards artists’ equipment, supplies, furnishings, and other start-up costs.

4: AFutureSuperhero And Friends’ “Hope For The Holidays”: Founder Yuri Williams is fundraising for a holiday trip to spread cheer to people in need across all fifty states.

Along with collaborator Rodney Smith Jr., Yuri will be handing out gifts to children, adults, and animals dressed as a Star Wars’ Stormtrooper, Spiderman, Deadpool, and other movie or comic book characters. Starting this month, the crew will be visiting children with disabilities or serious illnesses, bringing leashes and toys to animal shelters for people taking home a new pet, and spreading blessings to unhoused people—all while in superhero costume. This will be the third time Yuri and his nonprofit have taken this journey.

AFutureSuperhero started a GoFundMe in July to cover the cost of gifts as well as travel expenses like hotels and rental cars. To help the nonprofit reach its $15,000 goal, the Upworthy Kindness Fund contributed $500 towards this good cause.

Think you qualify for the fund? Tell us how you’re bringing kindness to your community. Grants will be awarded on a rolling basis from now through the end of 2021. For questions and more information, please check out our FAQ’s and the Kindness Toolkit for resources on how to start your own kindness fundraiser.

Glenn Howerton On ‘Always Sunny’ And Why He Wishes People Would ‘Just Shut The F*ck Up’ About The Beatles

Dysfunctional idolatry is all the rage with brashness often mistaken for boldness here in what passes for reality. But in our recent conversation, It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia co-creator and star Glenn Howerton makes it clear that the characters he and his long-time collaborators play in the now 15-seasons-deep comedy aren’t heroes. Instead, they’re supposed to be the butt of the joke, led astray by their ignorance and egos. It’s a message that may not have always been evident to some.

“I don’t think we were quite as good at this in the early seasons… making it clear that the writers of the show aren’t saying that this behavior is funny because we like it and we stand by it,” says Howerton. “It’s funny because it’s so awful, and it’s exactly what you’re not supposed to do.”

To wit, Howerton isn’t a big fan of the kind of supposedly edgy comedy that some might view as a comp for Always Sunny, partly because characters in those projects don’t face consequences. But it also has something to do with efforts to push boundaries without purpose. “I often find it offensive because it’s just not fucking funny,” he says.

What does Howerton like? Pink Floyd (a fact revealed while discussing how much he seems to hate The Beatles), working and now podcasting with the same group of collaborators (Rob McElhenney and Charlie Day) for going on two decades, and doing self-described weird and villainous stuff to get a laugh. Including Dennis Reynolds’ nefarious sex face.

We spoke with Howerton about all of the above, taking aim at absurdities across the ideological spectrum, the Gang’s Ireland-set misadventures, and the challenge of topping themselves as they continue making this once improbable but now-iconic series (which airs Wednesdays on FXX and streams on FX On Hulu the next day).

I enjoy checking on what people are Googling when it comes to someone I’m about to talk with. Apparently, the people want to know if Glenn Howerton is nice. Are you nice?

Am I nice? Yeah. I am nice, actually. I mean, everybody thinks they’re… No, that’s not true actually. Not everybody thinks they’re nice. Some people know that they’re not nice and can admit it. They’re like, “No, I’m kind of a dick.” But no, I’m not. I’m actually very nice. That’s the truth.

The internet said that you are “Pleasant and chatty.” That was the response to that question on Google.

Pleasant and chatty?

I think it’s from the lede of another interview.

Pleasant and chatty. I’ll take that.

The first couple of episodes of this season, you guys really manage to kind of piss off, I think, everybody, which is really impressive. Left, right, center, woke, un-woke. Is that the goal?

It’s not, it really isn’t. The way the show is talked about, it’s as if that’s our goal, or that our goal is to push the boundaries of what’s decent or whatever. And that’s never the goal. That being said, what is the goal is to make people laugh. And often in order to do so, you have to kind of shake them up a little bit. That’s my feeling. The best jokes to me, are slightly acerbic and make you go, “Oh, shit! Can you say that?” That’s just what I like because I like to be provoked. I like to be poked by art.

For me, it’s more raising questions, forcing people on any side of a particular issue to sort of face what is often absurd about their point of view, or the reasons behind their point of view. Because the truth is as far as I’m concerned, most of the time, the reality lies somewhere in the middle. The truth lies somewhere in the middle. So poking fun at the extremes on any side of any given issue or argument is… I mean, I think that’s just what the show’s always been about.

I imagine it also makes it a little more interesting for you guys. Like you’re kind of alluding to, everyone is so self-serious and for righteous reasons a lot of the time, but also sometimes not. And sometimes it’s just with everything. And so, I feel like you guys are definitely aiming at kind of cracking the shell a little, so people can kind of take a breath, take a look.

I think that’s right. I think that’s right. It’s the ability for us to laugh at ourselves and to try and provoke laughs from even the people that we’re maybe trying to satirize. Right? I want people who watch the show to feel like we’re not just satirizing the people that they disagree with, but that they’re being satirized as well. Because we’re all a little bit ridiculous, you know? Or we all have the capacity to be a little bit ridiculous in our point of view, and what we stand for and what we fight for. So, that’s always been the essence of the show in many ways.

That’s a great point and, when I look at the second episode of the season, the Lethal Weapon episode… you tell me if it’s is a spoiler, but my favorite joke is the pausing and waiting for applause [after doing something woke]. That’s the best observation.

[Laughs] Yeah.

And so you’re cracking the shell a little bit on how people can get hyper offended, but you’re also cracking the shell on [faux wokeness]… I’m going the long way around here to ask, what was the motivation there?

I think when you threaten people’s lives and you threaten their livelihoods because they don’t think the way you think, and they don’t believe the same things you believe, what’s going to inevitably end up happening is that some people are going to push back against that and go, “This is just the way I am.” But most people are going to not want their livelihoods taken away. So they’re going to start doing quote-unquote, the right thing, but they’re going to be doing it for the wrong reasons. They’re going to be doing it out of fear. Or often as what we’re satirizing, what you’re referring to, that people start to do it because they’re like, “Oh, I’ll be praised for this, for doing and saying the right things and being righteous.” You know what I mean? And they don’t really care so much about why they’re supposed to be doing what they’re supposed to be doing. They just want to be celebrated for actually doing it. You know? And that’s the danger of some of the over-correcting, is that people feel compelled toward that, or they feel forced toward that.

There’s one scene in that episode… Your very upsetting sex face. Just the look on your face, it’s very disturbing. Do you practice that? How do you arrive at the right disturbing sex face?

Well, as my wife would probably attest… Sorry, this is not going where you think it’s going.

[Laughs] That’s fine.

I just have a very… And I’ve always been this way. I just have a very strange sense of humor. One of the things that I like to do to make people laugh is to sort of do things that are slightly uncomfortable, things that are slightly strange, things that are weird, things that are kind of awful. I’ve always been able to find humor in sort of villainous behavior, behaving absurdly. It’s absurd, right? Nobody fucking looks like that when they have sex. I hope not.

[Laughs] Yeah.

I just have a fucking weird sense of humor, man. I find shit like that funny. So I’ve always just kind of been that way. So it doesn’t really take much for me as a performer to go there, because I just think that shit’s funny. And I’ve been doing it for years. [Laughs]

What was the pull to take the story to Ireland?

I think when you’re 15 seasons into a show, you’re kind of looking for anything to just kind break things up and keep it fresh. Right? And I think that we found the concept of characters who identify as Irish, going to Ireland to discover their roots or for whatever reason that they’re going for… And all the characters are kind of going there for different reasons, which is pretty typical of our show.

Honestly, it was just a way to do something a little bit different. Most seasons, the episodes themselves are episodic. They’re not serialized. But we thought it was a good opportunity to do some more serialized episodes.

How long can this feel fresh for you guys? I mean, you’re still at the top of your game in terms of what you’re putting out there, but I know that’s not necessarily the same as feeling fresh in the room when you’re creating it.

I don’t know. Look, it is hard. I’m not going to lie. It is very difficult because we hold ourselves to a very high standard. And one of the things that I’ve always prided myself on is being able to continually come up with content, or come up with stories and character moments that surprise people and that catch people off guard a little bit. And it becomes more and more difficult as the years go on to be able to do that. Right? Because you have to accomplish two things at once. One, you have to serve the character that you’ve established. You can’t just change the character, fundamentally altering who that person is. So you’re limited in what you can do, with regard to that. So continuing to surprise people by using the characters that have established character traits… you know, it gets fucking hard. And I guess that’s another reason why we wanted to do something different and go to Ireland, just to give us something different to play off of.

As far as how long can we do it for? I mean, I don’t know. I really don’t. This season was challenging for sure. Breaking stories. I mean, we really did run into that sort of classic sort of thing, where we’re like, “Oh, no, we’ve already done that. Oh, no, we’ve already done that. Nope, we’ve done a version of that.” And you start to go, “Holy shit, man. What are we going to do?” But weirdly out of that process, to me, this is our strongest season in years in many ways. So, I don’t know how that happened exactly. But it’s challenging. I’ll tell you that.

What’s the experience been like for you to go back and start re-watching some of these episodes with the podcast and re-experience that stuff with these guys?

It’s been really fun to go back and tell stories. Because those guys will remember things that I’d forgotten. And I’ll remember things that they’ve forgotten about the making of the episode. And I mean, if you listen to the podcast, we’re maybe only talking about the episodes 25% of the time, maybe 20% of the time. The rest of the time, we’re just talking about other shit. [Laughs] Or whatever comes up after we’re talking about the episode. I’ll go back, I’ll listen to the podcast, because I don’t even remember what we did, and I’ll listen to it. And I’m like, “Oh, right.” When we’re doing the podcast together, it is a window into sort of the way the three of us talk when it’s just the three of us in a room. It’s not that different from how we are when we’re not doing the podcast. [Laughs]

It’s like your Get Back. It’s like the Always Sunny version of Get Back.

Of what?

The Beatles doc that everybody’s been talking about.

Okay, yeah… I don’t like the fucking Beatles, man. So I don’t know.

Oh, really? Wow. Overrated, or just not your kind of music?

[Sigh] I got a bit of a chip on my shoulder about The Beatles because I feel like they made a lot of really cool music, and they were obviously incredibly innovative and all that. But I think there were a lot of bands that were around that same time that just don’t get enough play. And I’m just fucking sick of hearing about The Beatles. Like, Jesus Christ, just shut the fuck up.

That’s very true. Don’t sink eight hours of your life into that documentary then. I would advise against that.

I won’t even watch the first 15 minutes of it. You want to put on an eight-hour documentary about Pink Floyd or The Kinks, I’m all in. But the Beatles, I’m like, “Jesus, man, we get it. We get it.”

Watching them pull a classic song out of thin air while you’re like a fly on the wall is a weird interesting experience. But it didn’t need to be eight hours.

That’s what I’m finding to be the case with most docuseries, right? It’s like, I get really pissed off when I’m watching a docuseries and it’s eight hours long. And I’m like, “You absolutely could have done this in two hours or an hour and a half.” But because docuseries are so popular right now, you made it eight hours. And so, I spend eight hours learning the same thing I could have learned in an hour and a half. Makes me mad. But I would watch an eight-hour documentary about Pink Floyd. I’ll tell you that.

‘It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia’ airs Wednesday nights on FXX before coming available for streaming on FX On Hulu the following day.

Machine Gun Kelly Recalls The Time He Accidentally Stabbed Himself While Trying To Impress Megan Fox

Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly’s relationship never fails to make headlines whether they’re making out on the red carpet or sharing some very confusing pickup lines used at the start of their relationship. They’ve been dating for a few months now and are so comfortable with each other that MGK knows Fox’s bucket list includes getting abducted by aliens. But, as any relationship goes, they still tried impressing each other when they first got together. MGK even went so far as to accidentally stab himself while trying to look cool in front of Fox.

MGK recently sat down for an interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon where he recalled the story. The musician started off by explaining the fateful night that started with him severely bruising a bone in his butt and ended with a knife lodged in his hand. It all went down right when he and Fox had first started dating and he was playing a filmed beer pong match with Post Malone. MGK entered the beer pong arena by sliding down a staircase railing and he failed to see a giant spike at the bottom — which was obviously very painful. But since he was trying to act tough before the game, the musician played it off and acted like he wasn’t in pain.

MGK impressively ended up winning the beer pong game (he later found out he had bruised the bone in his butt called a coccyx) and went home with Fox. To try to impress her, he picked up an engraved knife that was gifted to him and tossed it in the air with the intention of catching it without looking. “I threw it up and it came down and stuck in my hand,” he said, showing Fallon the scar he still has to this day.

Watch MGK talk about his relationship with Fox on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon above, around the 5-minute mark.

Of Course Donald Trump Is Now Bragging About The ‘Crowd Size’ Of His Deadly Jan. 6 MAGA Insurrection

Donald Trump has always been the kind of guy who’s obsessed with size. He’s got big beautiful buildings that are totally phallic-shaped structures, and so on. So, it was completely on brand when the Trump administration began (on Day One) by trotting out Press Secretary #1 Sean Spicer, who huffily gaslit America about the “crowd size” at his inauguration. He was very upset about comparison photos that showed how much larger Obama’s crowd had been, and Spicer supported Trump’s insistence that there was “like a million and half people” on hand. This was very much a Baghdad Bob situation with Spicer talking about how “grass” was really “people,” and yeah. Nuts.

So, it should come as no surprise that Trump is now obsessing about how no one gave him credit for his January 6 “crowd size.” Yes, he’s talking about the deadly MAGA insurrection on the U.S. Capitol. He’s talking about an event that’s currently being investigated by a House Select Committee. Several of Trump’s “best people” (that’d be Steve Bannon and Roger Stone) are now coping with the fallout of their roles in plotting this attack on the U.S. government, and meanwhile, Trump is bragging about size.

Here’s what Trump said to Brexit Mastermind Nigel Farage for GB News (via Raw Story):

“And if you look, it was a massive rally with hundreds of hundreds of thousands of people. I think it was the largest crowd I’ve ever spoken before… if you would’ve looked at the crowd’s size — nobody wants to talk about that. I believe it was the biggest and most people I ever — and I’ve spoken to very big crowds. I have never spoken in front of a crowd that size — nobody ever talks about that.”

Yes, Trump believes that it’s a travesty for people to focus on his “biggest” crowd, rather than the lives that were taken on that day, along with the other countless other lives that were endangered by his MAGA rioters. When Farage asked (about Trump’s “Stop The Steal” rally at The Ellipse, where Trump instructed his followers to go “fight like hell” or “you’re not going to have a country anymore”) whether it was “a mistake” to hold that rally, Trump responded, “Well, you know, I didn’t have — that was a rally that was there.” Presumably, he meant that his rally wasn’t actually on the U.S. Capitol steps.

Then he went ahead and added this as an aside: “And then, unfortunately, some bad things happened. But also, the other side had some bad things happen.” Yep, he’s back to the “both sides” rhetoric again. And, you know, crowd size.

Cardi B Joins ‘Playboy’ Magazine As Its First-Ever Creative Director In Residence

Cardi B’s brash lyrics and unapologetic attitude when it comes to sex and femininity have made her a fan-favorite public persona. Now, she’s bringing those qualities to a new endeavor in partnership with an institution that has long been on the forefront of sex-forward pop culture: Playboy magazine.

Today, Cardi announced that she’s joining the magazine in the newly-minted role of Creative Director In Residence. On Instagram, she told fans, “Joining the Playboy family is a dream and I know yall are going to love what we put together.”

She also announced the creation of a new, creator-led platform called “Centerfold,” and although she didn’t provide many details, she noted, “We’re going to have soooooo much fun.”

It wouldn’t be the first time Cardi adopted a role at a risque platform; in August of 2020, she joined the controversial but growing social media network OnlyFans, which at the time was primarily known for serving adult content. However, at the time, she quickly clarified that she wouldn’t be “SHOWING P*SSY , TITTIES AND ASS,” and would instead use it to live chat with fans safely protected by a paywall.

On the face of things, these partnerships make perfect sense for the outspoken “WAP” rapper who, like Playboy magazine itself over the years, has come under fire for her raunchy content while offering astute observations on politics and current events. In any event, it’s a pretty impressive career expansion for Cardi, who also recently added AMAs host and celebrity wedding officiant to her ever-growing resume.

Does Donald Trump’s Breath Smell Like Meat? Hillary Clinton’s New Book Suggests That It Might

If Hillary Clinton penned an article for The Onion, it might read a little bit like State of Terror, the new political thriller the former secretary of state and one-time aspiring POTUS penned alongside mystery writer Louise Penny. While it’s purely a work of fiction, it’s been difficult for people to believe that the main protagonist in the book isn’t at least partly based on a former president whose name rhymes with Shmonald Shrump. And, as HuffPost reports, Clinton is having some fun with the idea.

The book—which, again, is fiction—tells the story of the contentious relationship between a newly elected president, Eric Dunn, and his onetime political rival-turned-secretary of state, Ellen Adams. Their connection becomes even more problematic when, according to the book’s official summary: “What begins as a series of apparent terrorist attacks is revealed to be the beginning of an international chess game involving the volatile and Byzantine politics of Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Iran; the race to develop nuclear weapons in the region; the Russian mob; a burgeoning rogue terrorist organization; and an American government set back on its heels in the international arena.”

The book, which immediately shot to the top of the New York Times Bestsellers List, has been getting rave reviews since it was released in October. And many readers are having fun picking up on tiny details that could be easily construed as swings in the “hamberder”-loving former president’s direction. Globe and Mail journalist Elizabeth Renzetti particularly enjoyed that Dunn is portrayed as “a hulking moron whose breath smells of meat.”

Clinton—an expert troller—saw Renzetti’s comment and seized upon the moment to tease her “fictional” antagonist even further, while wryly noting that Dunn “Could have been based on anyone….”

Jimmy Kimmel Made Senate Candidate (And ‘Serial Testicle Fondler’) Dr. Oz A New Campaign Ad

With Dr. Oz confirming his Pennsylvania senate run on the Republican ticket, it was only a matter of time until Jimmy Kimmel weighed in on the doctor entering the race after a well-documented career of pushing quack cures on daytime television. Oh, and also the fact that Oz doesn’t even live in the state.

“Despite living in New Jersey for the past two decades, Dr. Oz is running as a Republican in Pennsylvania where he voted this year, absentee, using his in-laws’ address,” Kimmel said. “But he promises to be the best New Jersey senator Pennsylvania has ever had.”

After showing Oz announcing his intent to run on Hannity where he promised that he “can’t be bought,” Kimmel landed a solid jab by showing a cavalcade of infomercial clips where Oz shills everything from mattresses to “miracle flower” diet pills.

“You can’t be bought when you’ve already been solid,” Kimmel quipped before turning up the heat with a “campaign ad” that the late night host said Oz is already running in PA. Obviously, it was a spoof, but the footage was very real as Kimmel’s team edited together a string of Oz pushing penis cures and enemas as he pushed audience members around giant rectums on his daytime TV set. Very senatorial!

Wrapping the segment up, Kimmel voiced a more personal concern about Oz. “I also wonder if he’s going to make it through the vetting process because I happen to know firsthand this man is a serial testicle fondler.”

It was a random accusation until the late night host pulled out the receipt.
