Jack White’s last album was 2022’s Entering Heaven Alive, which followed Fear Of The Dawn, released just a few months prior. Today, without warning or promotion, he released a follow-up — but here’s the catch: It’s only available on vinyl at his Third Man Records retail stores in Detroit, London, and Nashville.
According to photos shared by Third Man Records’ social pages, the album is either untitled, or title No Name, while fans online have begun sharing their impressions of the record on sites like Reddit, Instagram, and Twitter (sorry, Elon, “X” is a dumb name). Incidentally, Jack very recently denied that there was even a project in the works on Instagram, jokingly replying, “What album?” when a fan asked if they could expect a “snippet for the new album soon.”
Fortunately for fans who don’t live close to a Third Man Records location, it seems that copies of the new album are being included with deliveries for Vault members. Whether the album will receive a wider release in the future remains to be seen, but it’s still kind of a cool idea in an era when so much music is basically being given away to do just that, while keeping it exclusive.
It’s hard to remember a time when Jack Reacher wasn’t always a 6’3″ man with muscles too big for his t-shirt, but that time was 2012, when Tom Cruise took on the popular character in Jack Reacher, and then again for Jack Reacher: Never Go Back. Apparently, he did go back.
Even though the movie wasn’t as beloved as Alan Ritchson’s Reacher, Cruise’s iteration is gaining some momentum on streaming, right alongside his favorite child, Top Gun: Maverick.
As reported by Collider, both Jack Reacher and Top Gun: Maverick are dominating the Paramount+ charts. Of course, Cruise has no idea, because he’s off doing some complex stunts for one of his other franchises.
When it comes to Jack Reacher, the initial films weren’t as beloved as the now-popular Reacher series on Amazon. Director Edward Zwick doesn’t blame the fans for the poor reviews. Earlier this year, Zwick told Variety: “Jack Reacher: Never Go Back, which Tom Cruise and I made in 2016, fizzled at the box office. I blame myself (and my willing accomplice, Don Granger) for thinking the audience might enjoy a mash-up of Jack Reacher and Paper Moon, when in fact they just wanted more red meat,” the director explained.
As for the other much taller Reacher…he will return to screens for season three sometime in 2025.
As the Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman’s BFF World Tour rages on, it’s clear that this duo is really hyped about this movie. Or, they want to get it over with and never speak again, which would also make sense.
Reynolds shared the final Deadpool & Wolverine trailer this week, which also reveals two characters: Lady Deadpool and the return of fan-favorite Dafne Keen as X-23, who previously denied rumors that she would appear. “I had a great time keeping it secret. I had to do a bunch of press for a job that I just finished,” Keen says told Entertainment Weekly. “I got asked in every interview, and I just got to lie, which was really funny.” Acting is just lying for an extended period of time, so it makes sense that she was pretty good at it.
Aside from X-23, the mysterious Lady Deadpool appears in the final trailer, masked up with a platinum blonde ponytail, which is sparking the debate: Who Is Lady Deadpool? It’s definitely not Taylor Swift, but fans have some theories.
The most popular theory is that Lady Deadpool will be portrayed by none other than Blake Lively, Reynolds’ wife. This theory has been gaining steam on social media, and it would make the most sense, considering they live under the roof. Walking onto set to film a cameo must be as easy as taking out the garbage for these two.
Another theory is that Lady Deadpool will end up being Reynolds in a wig, or his face edited onto someone else’s body. Then again, Reynolds apparently wants people to think it’s Jackman in a wig, so we really don’t know what to believe here.
Check out the trailer below and make your final guess before Deadpool & Wolverine hits theaters on July 26th.
If you’ve been scratching your innie while waiting for the Severance Outies (and Innies) to receive followup for Ben Stiller’s first season-finale cliffhanger, you are not alone. Stiller, as well, knows that the world wants to see what happened to Adam Scott’s Mark after he screamed about his supposedly dead wife still existing inside Lumon Industries headquarters. He even lobbed an “Ok ok got it” after SZA “[w]as tryna be polite but I really need a new season of severance right the f*ck now.”
Also, what of those goats? That answer has already been promised by creator Dan Erickson. Yep, goats, and Apple TV+ is crushing the addictive series between Slow Horses, Silo, and Presumed Innocent, so it’s certainly swell that people are clamoring to know more. Let’s talk about the clues that have been dropped about what will come next for those who were severed.
Plot
As viewers will recall, the first season ended with Innie Mark (Adam Scott), Helly (Britt Lower), and Irving (John Turturro) masquerading as their Outies in an attempt to communicate with the outside world. Meanwhile, Innie Dylan (Zach Cherry) held down the control-room fort while Seth Milchick (Tramell Tillman) worked to breach the room and shut down the process. Mark had managed to communicate what was happening to his sister, Devon (Jen Bullock), and he was attempting to shout that his “dead” wife, Gemma, was actually alive and existing inside Lumon as wellness counselor Ms. Casey (Dichen Lachman), who has apparently been “fired.” Meanwhile, Helly was in the process of telling a gala crowd that Lumon tortured Innies, and Irving had discovered that his Outie was obsessed with Lumon. Whew.
Clearly, the second season has a lot to answer for right off the bat — how much will the Innies remember about their Outie switcheroo, and how will they be disciplined? Well, no answers have surfaced there yet, but Scott and Stiller did speak with Variety to address the romance brewing between Mark and Helly, and what this might mean for his marriage. Scott called Mark’s situation “a confusing cocktail of feelings,” and Stiller followed up by confirming that this will figure into the second season:
“There is this growing connection between Mark and Helly happening during the season, and then on the outside, Mark is trying to get over his wife’s death — and then we’re going to find out that his wife is still alive. To put him in this position where the Innie Mark, we’re starting to root for him and Helly, but now we also want to root for Outie Mark to find his wife. That’s an interesting juxtaposition and conflict we’ll explore in the second season.”
Scott also offered that Mark had probably “made some decisions in his life” and truly appeared to want to leave severance, although that act doesn’t seem possible, given what happened to Yul Vasquez’s character when he left. Additionally, Zach Cherry kept things simple while telling Entertainment Tonight that the second season premiere script is “good!”
Importantly as well, Stiller told TV Line not to listen to any rumors about turmoil, delays, or budget issues with the followup. “No one’s going to the break room,” he clarified. “We’re on the same really slow schedule we’ve always been on … Love our fans and each other and we all are just working to make the show as good as possible.”
None of this delivers insight into an especially odd finale moment when a partygoer was extremely proud to claim credit for finding Devon’s baby. Perhaps that will be the most lingering mystery of the series.
Cast
Let’s just say that the Lumon workforce appears to be expanding. Adam Scott definitely returns, and he will be joined by Britt Lower, Patricia Arquette, John Turturro, Zach Cherry, Dichen Lachman, Jen Tullock, Christopher Walken, Tramell Tillman, and Michael Chernus. Unless Yul Vasquez appears as a clone (you never know with Lumon) or in flashback, we can count him out for the second season.
New cast members include, according to Variety, Gwendoline Christie, Alia Shawkat, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, Bob Balaban, Merrit Wever, Robby Benson, John Noble, and Stefano Carannante.
Release Date
After much fuss, Severance will return on January 17, 2025.
Trailer
A brief teaser trailer has revealed Mark, Helly, and Dylan back at work while Gwendoline Christie’s character tells them, “You should have left.”
No full trailer exists yet, but Apple has also released a sizzle reel, in which Mark is carrying balloons that sort-of look like his paperweight in the Lumon Industries office. The reel also shows Mark glitching from Innie to Outie before he tries to get the hell out of there.
There’s been a lot of talk over the past decade about how Hollywood is lacking in new movie stars. Where is this generation’s Tom Cruise? Or Julia Roberts? That might be changing. Glen Powell’s charm is enough to carry a film to the top of the box office, while his Anyone But You co-star, Sydney Sweeney, is one of the most popular young actresses in years — and she’s not even the biggest name on her show. The cast of HBO’s high school-set (for now) drama Euphoria is full of A-list talent, including Zendaya (in two of the best movies of 2024), Sweeney (she was immaculate in Immaculate), Hunter Schafer (getting rave reviews for upcoming horror film Cuckoo), and Jacob Elordi (the Saltburn and Priscilla actor is as tall as he is handsome, which is to say, very).
But because those four, as well as Maude Apatow, Colman Domingo, and Storm Reid, among others, are so busy, will they be able to make room for creator Sam Levinson in their schedules?
Here’s everything you need to know about Euphoria season 3.
Plot
The Euphoria season 2 finale aired on HBO in February 2022. It will be over three years by the time season 3 premieres (yes, it’s officially happening). So, what’s the hold up?
Well, as previously established, lots of folks are busy. Also, there’s been “conversations between the network and creator Sam Levinson on where the action will be set after the characters leave high school,” according to The Hollywood Reporter. He’s pushing for a five-year time jump, which is maybe something Stranger Things should think about, too.
Another reported issue is that Levinson’s initial scripts “didn’t pass muster with Zendaya,” per Variety, and when he submitted new ones, “HBO execs were now the ones feeling unsatisfied.”
Here’s more, including Detective Rue!
There was a new arc for Zendaya’s Rue, whose character in Levinson’s first pass had been relegated to the background in a somewhat surprising storyline about her working as a private detective, which HBO had immediately vetoed. Among many other ideas for the rewrites, Zendaya had pitched an idea in which Rue, who is now sober as a twentysomething young woman, would be a pregnancy surrogate. But insiders say the new scripts simply didn’t feel like the show tonally.
There’s more drama off-screen for Euphoria than there is on-screen!
Cast
According to HBO, “all of the principal cast” will be back for season 3, including Zendaya (Rue), Sydney Sweeney (Cassie), Jacob Elordi (Nate), Hunter Schafer (Jules), and Oscar nominee Colman Domingo (Ali). Other cast members who are likely to return are Alexa Demie (Maddy), Maude Apatow (Lexi), Nika King (Leslie), Storm Reid (Gia), and maybe Dominic Finke (Elliot). Barbie Ferreira (Kat) is finished with Euphoria, and tragically, Angus Cloud, who played Fez, passed away in July 2023. He will be missed.
While Kendrick Lamar’s thrashing of Drake may have taken top billing so far this summer, it’s not the only feud the Compton rapper has been involved in — or, at least, that’s what some fans want to believe. While Kendrick was whacking owls and dragging the good name of OVO through the Hub City mud, another blog era veteran, Big Sean, was quietly releasing new singles as he prepared to release his sixth studio album (and first in four years), Better Me Than You.
This sucked for Sean, whose new releases got overshadowed by all the commotion — a common theme for the Detroit rapper, who arguably deserved to be mentioned in the same tier as Drake and Ken at one time, if only because his output matched theirs for both quantity and quality for a while. But when he wasn’t being drowned in the deluge of new diss tracks, his own releases were being interpreted as bids to insert himself into the beef, with mentions of the so-called “Big Three” turning into sneak disses in the minds of fans who were by now primed to demand bloodshed (metaphorically speaking).
Starting with the kickoff of Big Sean’s album rollout, “Clarity,” fans seemed determined to find jabs in Sean’s lyrics. “I think where I lack most as an artist is consistency / I just haven’t had the energy to compete with enemies / Or y’all so-called ‘Bigger Three’,” he rapped. While more reasonable readings would consider this Sean’s generous assessment of his own career — that he could have been bigger with a more consistent release schedule — others saw an eagerness for war with his more popular counterparts, especially when, just two days later, Kendrick dropped “Like That” with Future and Metro Boomin, declaring, “Motherf*ck the Big Three — it’s just big me.”
This might not have seemed like that big of a deal, but before either track came out, an old version of Kendrick Lamar’s 2017 DAMN. track “Element” leaked online, revealing a scrapped verse that dealt with apparent friction between the two rappers. “Big Sean keep sneak dissin’, I let it slide / I think his false confidence got him inspired / I can’t make them respect you, baby, it’s not my job / You’re finally famous for who you date, not how you rhyme,” Ken spat acidly on the old verse. While that version of the song never made it to retail, well… everything is forever on the internet (unless you wrote a post for MTV.com)
So why all the animosity to begin with? To find the answer, you’ve got to go back into blog rap lore about 10 years, when Big Sean was preparing to release his album Hall Of Fame. During the rollout, Sean shared a promotional single called “Control” on which he and Kendrick teamed up for a display of lyrical virtuoso that turned into something else entirely thanks to Kendrick’s penchant for playing with fire. As he would later do on “Like That,” Kendrick utterly stole the show on “Control,” naming names of those artists he considered his peers — and competitors — inviting them to catch his fade if they dared.
“I’m usually homeboys with the same n****s I’m rhymin’ with,” he allowed. “But this is hip-hop, and them n****s should know what time it is / And that goes for Jermaine Cole, Big K.R.I.T., Wale / Pusha T, Meek Millz, A$AP Rocky, Drake / Big Sean, Jay Electron’, Tyler, Mac Miller / I got love for you all, but I’m tryna murder you n****s / Tryna make sure your core fans never heard of you n****s / They don’t wanna hear not one more noun or verb from you n****s.” The results were entertaining, but ultimately unsatisfying for those who wanted to see some high-level rhyme combat. It seemed like every rapper on the internet couldn’t help dropping a “response” — except for the ones Kendrick actually named.
Look, you can only get so far battle rapping. That’s been a truth of hip-hop since the ’80s. And you don’t get that big if you aren’t focused on making the best music and being about your business. So, it’s not surprising no one answered the call. However, Big Sean, who arguably suffered the worst from the verse (“Control” was cut from the album due to sample clearance issues) since he was basically “Renegaded” on his own track. He’s prickled a bit when asked about it; in 2017, he denied being “washed” by Kendrick on the song — an accusation he’s had to refute numerous times since then — although he denies being salty about it.
So, between getting overshadowed on “Control” — and in his career in general — by Kendrick and Drake, then Kendrick’s original “Element” verse taunting him for perhaps being understandably miffed about the situation, Sean does have reason to want to prove himself against Kendrick once and for all. That’s why fans think that, like with Drake, Kendrick has long-brewing friction with the Motown native that they could both be itching to resolve. And it’s why fans took Big Sean’s On The Radar freestyle admonishment about “finding someone to beef with” as a slight of Kendrick rather than its actual intended target: Sean’s former benefactor, Kanye West.
But there’s one other reason that they want to see a battle between the two: Because Big Sean could very well be one of today’s few upper echelon rappers who could hold his own in a rhyme fight with Kendrick Lamar. Drake got served. J. Cole bowed out. There are few other MCs at Kendrick’s level of mainstream popularity and commercial viability fans believe has the motivation or the skill to stand toe-to-toe with the Hub City native. Now, whether that’d be in Big Sean’s best interest is debatable; the scales are already tilted in Kendrick’s favor, Sean’s reputation as a rapper is respected but far from ironclad, and as Cardi B once said, “beef is bad for business.” But that won’t stop fans from clamoring for the next battle.
The end is here: Today (July 19), Donald Glover released Bando Stone And The New World, which he says will be his final album as Childish Gambino. He didn’t go out quietly, either, as it looks like he might have cultivated some beef on the project.
Did Childish Gambino Diss Joe Budden On Bando Stone And The New World?
Since the album’s release, some have speculated that Glover references Budden on “Survive.” On the track, he says, “They in the minor leagues, but I’m pro-black / I bet he hate his mom, how you know that? / You got a podcast ’cause you can’t rap / You on some Fresh And Fit sh*t, talking body counts / I count a body every time I’m on tracks.”
Budden, of course, is a retired rapper who now hosts The Joe Budden Podcast. As HipHopDX notes, Fresh And Fit is a podcast whose hosts have had run-ins with Budden, while Budden his talked about “body counts,” a term meaning the number of sexual partners a person has had, on his show.
One of the first things you learn when you fire up EA Sports College Football 25 is that throwing the ball is hard. Like, really hard — especially if you try to play on All-American. The goal of the developers was to make the game more realistic, and that meant making college players just generally worse than their NFL counterparts. Not every quarterback is capable of making all of the throws, and if you want to push it down the field with that 70 OVR QB, you will likely pay the price.
As such, arm strength matters more in this game than maybe ever before. If you want to throw the ball over the top or even hit deep outs, corners, or posts before a safety can undercut you for a pick, you better have someone that can really rip it. With that in mind, we went through and found the quarterbacks with the strongest arms in the game, as that might help you pick a team to consider in Dynasty, whether it’s when you start or later on in the coaching carousel as some of these are strong armed freshman.

Post Malone’s pilgrimage into country music has given fans yet another track. On July 16, the “Pour Me A Drink” musician held his Bud Light-sponsored A Night In Nashville concert (read Uproxx’s review here).
During the show, attendees were treated to a taste of his forthcoming album, F1-Trillion. Today (July 19), the world gets to watch the live debut of Post’s unreleased track, “Yours,” with an official performance video.
As the visual opens, Post thanks the crowd, then provides a quick backdrop to set the record up. “This next song is not released yet,” he said. “But I wrote this song about my daughter getting married. I gotta two-year-old and I gotta long time to go.”
The somber track imagines the faithful day when Post is wheeled up conflicting emotions as his daughter goes off to create a family for herself. “Don’t know who you are, one day I’m going to / And it’s gonna break my heart when she gives hers to you / It won’t be tomorrow, but it’s gonna be too soon / When I walk her down that aisle and do what daddies have to do,” sings Post.
Watch Malone’s full live debut of “Yours” above.
F1-Trillion is out 8/16 via Mercury/Republic. Find more information here.
Domestic violence survivors are cheering on the winner of the Miss Kansas competition after she stood on stage and called out her abuser who showed up to the pageant.
Before Alexis Smith was chosen from 26 participants in the state competition on June 8, 2024 to represent Kansas in the 2025 Miss America contest, she was asked to speak on stage about her Reclaimed Respect initiative.
“My vision as the next Miss Kansas is to eliminate unhealthy and abusive relationships,” Smith said. “Matter of fact, some of you out in this audience saw me very emotional because my abuser is here today. But that’s not going to stop me from being on this Miss Kansas stage and from representing as the next Miss Kansas. Because I, and my community, deserve healthy relationships. We deserve a domestic [violence] free life.”
Respect Reclaimed is about reclaiming your power and standing firmly in it. On the night of Miss Kansas, my journey took an unexpected turn when someone I have been healing from tried to disrupt my peace. Instead of falling into silence, I chose to live out my vision for a better world. I took back my power—not just for myself, but for my dreams and everyone watching and listening. This isn’t about shunning others; it’s about turning our pain into purpose and channeling it in a way that unifies and uplifts. I’m ready to use my story, tools, and resources to end unhealthy relationships in all forms. My voice and advocacy will empower everyone to reclaim their own power in their own unique way. I might be small in stature, but I stand tall in strength, purpose, and power with hopes of inspiring others to do the same. #fyp #abuse #miss #misskansas #missamerica #pageant #awareness #me #relationship #respect #tiktok

People who have experienced abuse themselves applauded her advocacy.
“As a victim of domestic violence I applaud you for speaking out!! I watched this 10 times!! I’m still getting bullied by his parents even with a no contact order. I plan on helping women like us as well.”
“WHAT A WOMAN. This is absolutely incredible. From one survivor to another, I am SO SO proud of you for reclaiming this moment for yourself. You will do amazing things🫶🏽🫶🏽”
“Incredibly brave of you. You just made a statement for all women. I appreciate you so much.”
“As an old survivor…I’m so damn PROUD OF YOU!! Love, A Stranger💚”
“We got to see you ACTIVELY showcasing your platform LIVE IN PERSON! My upmost respect to you Miss Alexis. This is beyond any crown, I cannot wait to watch your journey. As someone who grew up around domestic violence, I have chills watching you. You will always have a supporter in me.💖 You absolutely ate that. 👑”
“YAS GIRL! As a fellow survivor, you are an inspiration and I’m so proud of you for using your voice and showing your strength.”
According to The Wichita Eagle, Smith uses her 19 years of experience as a ventriloquist to teach kids about healthy relationships with puppets as part of her Reclaimed Respect initiative. She also works full-time as a cardiothoracic ICU nurse.
