Over the weekend, a Twitter user claimed they had evidence that Offset had once again cheated on Cardi B. According to XXL, it had a photo of what was allegedly Offset and a voice recording of a man trying to get a woman.

“Offset has allegedly cheated on Cardi B once again. How embarrassing,” they captioned.

The following day on Monday, August 21, Cardi B caught wind of the allegations and responded with a now-deleted voice recording of her own. “So you guys are going to receive a letter from his lawyer,” she said. “Because all these little games that you guys want to play online — it’s going to be over with.”

“You’re going to be getting sued, and we’re going to make an example out of you,” she added. “Yeah, and that was a terrible AI voice, by the way, so yeah, bye.”

Cardi also offered some advice for the “graphic designer” as to the fact that it clearly wasn’t her husband due to the photo missing his blonde dreads and the body type not matching.

She also shot right back when someone wrote, “Girl don’t nbgaf,” replying in all caps on Offset’s behalf, “HE DO!!”

Though Taylor Swift may be on a quick break from her Eras Tour, she continues to take the world by storm. The “Karma” hitmaker has the Swifties abuzz with several versions of her 1989 set to arrive this fall. She’s also teased some of her new music in shows like The Summer I Turned Pretty and Wilderness.

But as the Swifties are known to do, they’ve taken her music into their own hands to keep the buzz for all of her eras going. The latest is her Folklore era, which began upon the album’s release in the summer of 2020. On the album was a song called “August,” which became a fan-favorite deep cut.

The song is currently going viral on TikTok, in perhaps the most adorably chaotic way possible. Several TikTok users have used “August” in clips of them spinning their pets around in circles. In one video, a fan picks up her dog, holds the dog tightly, and spins around, to the amusement of the dog.

Another video shows a fan spinning their cat around, with the cat appearing shocked.

A search through the “August” sound on TikTok will display even more precious videos of Swiftie pets.

Zendaya is an Emmy-winning actress, sure, but she’s also a singer, an ambassador, and a fashion icon. But it wasn’t always this way. She, like everyone, has made fashion mistakes; unlike everyone, however, her fashion mistakes are only a Google Image search away.

Zendaya was asked by Elle (in a pre-SAG-AFTRA strike profile) about some of her worst fashion looks over the years. She quickly took out her phone and searched for “Germany Zendaya.” Here’s how writer Clover Hope describes what she saw: “[She] presents her iPhone to me, showing me a photo of her leaning against a glass railing in Munich, wearing flared pants and a Waldo-esque striped cardigan with an aqua blazer and yellow tee.” The Euphoria actress joked, “I’m angry at him to this day,” referring to her stylist, Law Roach. “Like, why would you put me in this? Bitch, you could’ve done better!”

It’s the blazer on top of a cardigan on top of another shirt, all loudly colored, that really pulls the extremely 2012 outfit together.

Zendaya also discussed the significance of her new movie, Challengers.

She’s so far chosen roles that optimize her unique Daria drollness, starring as a classic high school outcast in the Tom Holland–led Spider-Man franchise and an enigmatic character alongside Timothée Chalamet in the epic Dune (for a cool seven minutes). And yet, somehow, she’s never quite fully commanded the big screen like she does in director Luca Guadagnino’s R-rated tryst drama Challengers — a feat of sensual chaos that Zendaya describes as her “first time really being a leading lady, if you will.”

Challengers comes out on April 26, 2024. As for Dune: Part Two, it’s scheduled for November 3, 2023, but could be pushed back to next year as well.

Donald Trump will be “proudly” turning himself in for his fourth indictment in Fulton County, supposedly on Thursday morning. Word on the street is that America’s Fallen Mayor, Rudy Giuliani, will beat him there by a day. Meanwhile, Jenna Ellis has stopped trying to “live laugh love” her way through this and has been asking why the heck “billionaire” Trump isn’t footing the bill for his lawyer’s legal fees. As for Rudy, he reportedly flew down to Mar-a-Lago to make a “desperate” appeal for the initial legal fees for attempting to help Trump overturn democracy.

Rudy supposedly walked away from that visit (initially reported by the New York Times) empty handed other than a “vague promise” and apparently a promise to “attend” fundraisers for Rudy’s legal fees, but now, there’s possibly been a shift because Trump is (via the New York Times‘ Shane Goldmacher) going to headline a $100,000 per head fundraiser at his golf resort in Bedminster, New Jersey on Sept. 7.

Granted, Trump is not exactly opening his wallet here (and god only knows if he will pay any vendors involved in this event), but this is still a big gesture by Donald Trump standards. Did anything perhaps change to spark this move?

Officially, no one has said, but Trump also ended up in a much worse position, legally speaking, after Special Council Jack Smith revealed that an ex-Mar-a-Lago workers has flipped on Trump under threat of perjury charges for a prior statement. And as for Rudy? I can imagine that he knows where all the bodies are buried, so to speak. Not to mention all of the (alleged) details of the RICO dirt. So, it’s obviously in Trump’s best interest to start cooperating with the guy who took false credit for dreaming up the strategy to use RICO to take down the mob. What a full-circle event this has become.

Over the past few days, alleged reports have surfaced that Scooter Braun’s biggest clients, including Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, and Demi Lovato, are jumping ship from his SB Projects management company.

However, a new article in Variety revealed more of what is possibly going on behind-the-scenes. According to sources, Lovato has had an “amicable” exit from Braun’s company.

Bieber, who was one of Braun’s first major pop acts, has both been confirmed to have “cleaned house” with a lawyer helping him and others who denied he has left — making it something that only time will tell what happened.

Other sources told Variety that Braun is stepping back from working in management to better lead his role of HYBE America’s CEO, the company behind K-pop acts like BTS.

“All of Scooter Braun’s clients are under contract and negotiations have been going on for several months as Scooter steps into his larger role as HYBE America CEO,” the source told the publication. “People are spreading rumors based on what they know, but they are off. Scooter’s team at SB Projects are still handling both Justin and Ariana as they work through what this new structure looks like.”

The shifting story also found another source claiming it was Braun’s nature that was sparking artists to leave. “He’s imploding,” the unnamed source told Variety. “It’s a different world since the pandemic. You just can’t be an asshole like that anymore.”

Upon the news spreading throughout this week, Braun took to Twitter yesterday, where he posted, “Breaking news… I’m no longer managing myself.” Whether this is confirmation he’s stepping aside or something cryptic (or a response to all the memes) is still up in the air.

If a debate happens in Milwaukee and no one cares because Donald Trump won’t be there, does it make a sound?

We’ll find out tonight when Florida governor Ron DeSantis, South Carolina senator Tim Scott of South Carolina, former vice president Mike Pence, and “fat pig” Chris Christie, among others, take part in the first 2024 Republican presidential primary debate. Trump, the frontrunner, will not participate; instead, he’ll spread misinformation with Tucker Carlson in a conversation that will stream on (sigh) X at the same time as the debate.

Trump is also preparing to be arrested on Thursday, saying he’ll do it “proudly” for the sake of America or whatever. “NOBODY HAS EVER FOUGHT FOR ELECTION INTEGRITY LIKE PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP. FOR DOING SO, I WILL PROUDLY BE ARRESTED TOMORROW AFTERNOON IN GEORGIA. GOD BLESS THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!!!” he wrote on Truth Social. In a follow up post, he complained:

For the first time in three years, brave American Patriots will be able, in Court, to show how the Presidential Election of 2020 was RIGGED & STOLLEN. For those RINOS, Radical Left Democrats, Communists, Marxists, Fascists , & others who say, “Don’t Look Back, Look Forward,” they either do not want to reveal the answers because they “got away with murder,” or are FOOLS & COWARDS because we now know the answers to all of the Fraud, Irregularities, & Cheating, & WE CANNOT LET IT HAPPEN AGAIN!

Trump is facing 91 criminal charges, but let’s add one more for his overuse of the ampersand. Now he’ll spend 700 & 14 years in prison.

In recent years, Taylor Swift has really taken to debuting snippets of new music in teasers for movies and TV shows. In particular, she’s forged quite the relationship on this front with the Amazon Prime Video series The Summer I Turned Pretty. Now she’s back at it again, this time in a new teaser for Prime Video’s Wilderness. In the new teaser, our first listen of “Look What You Made Me Do (Taylor’s Version)” can be heard.

Press materials note the track, which will be the series’ opening titles song, “reflects Liv’s (Jenna Coleman) transformation after her supposed ‘happily-ever-after’ quickly turns into a living nightmare on discovering her husband Will (Oliver Jackson-Cohen) is having an affair.”

This isn’t the first track from Reputation (Taylor’s Version) that we’ve gotten a look at, as a few weeks ago, some of “Delicate (Taylor’s Version)” popped up in a The Summer I Turned Pretty teaser. Although we’ve seen two tracks from it, Reputation (Taylor’s Version) hasn’t officially been announced yet.

For now, the focus is on 1989 (Taylor’s Version), which Swift announced at the final The Eras Tour concert in the US of 2023. Swift explained, “To be perfectly honest, this is my most FAVORITE re-record I’ve ever done because the 5 From The Vault tracks are so insane. I can’t believe they were ever left behind. But not for long!”

Over the past month or so, Doja Cat has had a combative relationship with some of her fans. She criticized fans who might be too enthusiastic, after which she lost a quarter million Instagram followers. She’s not sweating that, though, as she later explained, “Seeing all these people unfollow me makes me feel like I’ve defeated a large beast that’s been holding me down for so long. And it feels like I can reconnect with the people who really matter and love me for who I am and not for who I was. I feel free.”

Now she’s spoken a bit more on that thread in some new Instagram Story posts.

Last night (August 22), Doja shared an Instagram Story that read, “‘When you die, nobody is going to give a f*ck what you tweeted.’ – Gaga.” (Per NME, the quote comes from a 2014 SXSW performance and to be precise, Lady Gaga actually said, “When you leave this Earth, no one’s gonna give a f*ck what you tweeted.”)

In another Story, Doja wrote, “All that matters to me is that my fans know who I am and the others are stuck trying to figure out.”

Beyond that, she also appeared to tease something new coming soon. She shared a photo of a human shadow (hers, presumably) on the wall. The figure strikes a pose while sporting devil horns and a protruding spine. The post caption reads, “9.1.23 [hourglass emoji].”

Burna Boy is busy. The rapper just headlined Afro Nation’s festival in Detroit, sharing the roster with Davido, Ari Lennox, Coi Leray, Latto, and more. He also just collaborated with J Hus for “Masculine” from J Hus’ album Beautiful And Brutal Yard. However, Burna Boy is preparing to release a record of his own.

Donald Trump and Jair Bolsonaro have always had loads in common. They’re both far right autocrats. They’re both former presidents who lost re-election. They both inspired fans to try to over turn their losses. They’re both under investigation for election interference. And they both have plenty of other legal woes. But where Trump might wind up in the clink for something major, Bolsonaro may finally get taken down for something real dumb.

As per The New York Times, the Brazilian ex-president is under investigation for a harebrained scheme involving selling embezzled watches at a mall outside of Philadelphia. Brazilian federal police are looking into a broad conspiracy by Bolsonaro and several allies to pawn expensive gifts he received when he was president from other countries.

In one case, a personal aide to Bolsonaro has been accused of selling a diamond Rolex watch and a Patek Philippe watch to a jewelry shop inside the Willow Grove Mall in Abington, Pennsylvania, outside of the City of Brotherly Love. Bolsonaro allegedly received at least some of the $68,000 they netted from the sale, which took place last year.

At stake is whether or not Bolsonaro was allowed to keep, much less sell, the watches. Brazilian law allows presidents to hang onto some gifts they receive if they’re of a personal nature. Expensive gifts, such as jewelry, are off-limits.

A government-appointed panel had ruled that Bolsonaro could keep most of the jewelry he’d received while in office. But the head of Brazil’s watchdog court said the panel was wrong and that the watches are state property. The judge overseeing the case even has evidence that suggests Bolsonaro may have ordered them to grant him the gifts.

There’s at least one strange hiccup in this case. Upon learning about the gifts earlier this year, the watchdog court ordered Bolsonaro to return it. One of his former lawyers then flew to Philadelphia and purchased the Rolex for $49,000. When asked about it last week, said lawyer denied having ever even seen the watch, telling news sites, “I dare you to prove it.”

They did, by publishing the receipt with his name on it. The lawyer then said Bolsonaro hadn’t told him to buy it.

As it happens, Trump has also been accused of failing to document gifts he received as president, which he later took with him after leaving office. But there is abig difference between Trump and Bolsonaro. After Bolsonaro spread false claims of election fraud, he was banned from running for president for seven years. That, and only Bolsonaro has gotten into fights with Leonardo DiCaprio.
