Even though we were told quite a few times that Walter White and Jesse Pinkman’s appearance on Better Call Saul’s final season would really be the last time we saw the duo, that wasn’t fully true. The pair starred in a Super Bowl commercial for PopCorners, the number one last-minute snack for when all of the Doritos have been bought and you’re running late to your friend’s house. But it turns out that even that wouldn’t be the last time we saw Bryan Cranson and Aaron Paul reprise their iconic roles, as PopCorners has released an extended cut of their new Super Bowl ad.

In the extended ad, Walter White confidently exclaims that he is the One Who Snacks while sitting on a throne of PopCorners bags which is much better than the alternative. It seems like PopCorners pair perfectly with some Dos Hombres mezcal!

The ad was written and directed by series co-creator Vince Gilligan, meaning it is technically in the universe, though it would have been better if Bob Odenkirk showed up.

Ahead of the release, Paul said in a statement that they were excited to bring the gang back together. “There’s nothing better than getting to revive characters who mean so much to us, surrounded by so many of our original cast and crew members, for the most exciting sports event of the year. ” There is still time for a rock candy company to swoop in for a partnership for next year’s big game, though time is running out! Maybe this will actually be the last time we see them. But who knows? We’ve been lied to before.

50 Cent (Curtis Jackson) has made an immensely successful crossover to television in recent years, as he made both the Power franchise and Black Mafia Family shows at Starz before leaving his deal last September. While he’s produced projects here and there since 2003, according to his IMDb, his Starz creations have had a massive impact — even if his relationship with the network grew rocky.

“09-17-22 official day of really owning my content and deciding where and how I do it moving forward,” he shared on Instagram at the time.

Now, Jackson has his sights on another network in a newly-announced non-exclusive deal with Fox. Jackson and his G-Unit Film & Television production company will develop “scripted dramas, live-action comedies, and animated series,” according to Variety.

“I am excited to formalize a partnership with Michael Thorn and Fox that will allow G-Unit Film & Television to focus on putting multiple series on Fox, a perfect broadcast destination for G-Unit Film & Television content while our premium, streaming, scripted, and non-scripted slates continue to grow in all directions,” Jackson shared in a statement.

Sharing the news on Instagram, 50 also wrote, “How’s your day going, mine is going good. Happy Valentine’s Day GLG GreenLightGang i don’t miss.”

“Whether it’s music, film, or television, Curtis always delivers premium entertainment that captivates millions of fans across the globe,” Fox Entertainment president Michael Thorn added. “He is the rare multi-hyphenate with a deft hand at storytelling, no matter the format or medium, and we’re looking forward to developing new and exciting series for Fox with him and his team.”

In addition to Jackson’s credits, G-Unit (not to be confused with his former hip-hop collective) is still in development on Fightland and Queen Nzinga at Starz. The company also produced ABC’s For Life and WeTV’s Hip Hop Homicides.

To celebrate their first Valentine’s Day as a married couple, Grammys grump Ben Affleck got Jennifer Lopez a heart-shaped donut from Dunkin. I mean, I assume. There’s no actual proof of the pastry present, but there’s a 97 percent chance it happened. There is, however, photo evidence of the other way they spent February 14th: by getting tattoos.

People reports that “a set of photos shared by Lopez features the Shotgun Wedding actress showing off her new tattoo — an infinity sign that appears to have the names ‘Jennifer’ and ‘Ben’ written in cursive. An arrow also goes through the middle of the symbol, which sits above Lopez’s ribcage.” Affleck’s tattoo has two arrows crossing each other, with “J” and “B” written between them.

“Happy Valentine’s Day my love (Look for more deets on VDay coming #OnTheJLo soon…),” Lopez wrote on Instagram, along with the hashtags #CommitmentIsSexy, #ThisIsUsThen, #ThisIsUsNow, and #ThisIsMeNow. (The “#ThisIsUsThen” is a reference to the first time they dated, back in the Gigli and “Jenny From the Block” days.)

Lots of couples get tattoos on Valentine’s Day, but with all due respect to Mr. and Mrs. America Runs on Dunkin, couldn’t they have picked more… unique designs, not something you might have printed off a Tumblr page in the early 2010s? You’ve got Super Bowl commercial money! At least it wasn’t another phoenix back tattoo.

Vladimir Putin has transformed Russia into a social pariah, and he’s gone far enough that he’s even lost one of his biggest allies that recently ditched him. However, and even though Russia continues to lose thousands upon thousands of soldiers in Putin’s war on Ukraine, he’s not giving up the fight. Reports have indicated that, one year into this boots-on-the-ground conflict, Putin has dug in his heels for a long haul.

Part of that strategy involves Putin doing a lot of hiding. Given that he allegedly has all of his enemies poisoned, he’s grown completely paranoid and has grown even better at hiding. That’s happened to such a degree that Ukrainian President Zelensky accused him of being a green-screen concoction, so Putin had to provide proof of life. Also, he apparently prepared way back in 2019 with the ultimate hiding-oriented luxury: a secret labyrinth of train tunnels, so he can move between his palaces without detection.

Business Insider relays word from Proekt, a Russian news outlet that dives deep into investigative mode and did a lot of satellite detection and good, old-fashioned footwork. In the process, Proekt discovered private train stations that surface thousands of feet away from Putin’s various luxury homes, including his summer Sochi retreat. These stations (and corresponding secret railway network) span across Russia and were apparently constructed over the past few years. All of this because Putin’s armored train adventures demand even more luxury-secrecy. Here’s more:

[These h]idden stations span across the country, according to the report, which used a combination of investigative reporting, satellite imagery, and sightings to identify elements of the secret railway line in at least three locations.

Near Putin’s palace in Valdai, which is about halfway between Moscow and St. Petersburg, a reporter identified a guarded railway station in the fall of 2022, the outlet said. The reporter was moved on by a guard when he tried to approach it. The station is in Dolgie Borody, the nearest settlement to Putin’s residence, and has a heliport attached, according to the media outlet. Satellite imagery reviewed by Proekt seemed to indicate that it was built in 2019.

God only knows how much this elaborate web of train tracks cost, and Putin has been maintaining and staffing them while Russians are largely cut off from the world due to sanctions. Heck, they can’t even find paper in some parts of the country. However, Putin still has the resources to hand out fancy Rings Of Power to his dwindling allies. Priorities.

Last year, Selena Gomez‘s Apple TV+ documentary Selena Gomez: My Mind And Me offered an intimate look at her day-to-day life. In the documentary, she revealed that she had chosen to outsource her social media accounts to an assistant, as the online landscape had become very toxic to her.

Gomez, who was once the most-followed person on Instagram, doubled down on these comments in a recent interview with Vanity Fair, and revealed she only has one social media outlet on her phone.

“People can call me ugly or stupid and I’m like, ‘Whatever.’ But these people get detailed,” Gomez said of online trolls. “They write paragraphs that are so specific and mean. I would constantly be crying. I constantly had anxiety… I couldn’t do it anymore. It was a waste of my time.”

She continued, revealing, “The only thing I have on my phone is TikTok because I find it to be a little less hostile. There are wonderful things about social media — connecting with fans, seeing how happy and excited they are and their stories. But usually that’s filtered through [for me now]. I created a system. Everything I do I send to my assistant who posts them. As far as comments, my team will put together a few things that are encouraging.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Gomez said she is currently filming the third season of Hulu Original series, Only Murders In The Building. She also shared she has new music on the way, which she says will be more upbeat — making a departure from her signature, downtempo ballads.

Shortly before 2022 wrapped up, Seth Meyers and Lizzo spent some time together day-drinking for a Late Night segment. One of the many fun moments from that was when Lizzo saw Late Night writer Seth Reiss in a mask and thought he was Paul Rudd. Once he took his mask off, though, Lizzo exploded into laughter before changing her position and declaring the two don’t look anything alike.

Fast-forward to last night (February 14): Rudd was a guest on Late Night and he and Meyers discussed the Lizzo segment.

Rudd noted, “When I heard Lizzo say my name, I was like, ‘Ooh!’ I got all excited [laughs]. By the way, it’s a weird thing when you’re not expecting to hear that and you hear it.” He went on to call her “so funny” and “so charming.”

Meyers then cut to a clip of Lizzo confusing Reiss for Rudd, and when that ended, Rudd was wearing a mask, as Reiss was in the video. A masked Reiss then emerged to pose next to Rudd, and indeed, there was some definite similarity there.

“You know what? Not as bad as I thought,” Meyers proclaimed. “I owe an apology to Lizzo.”

Lana Del Rey and Billie Eilish recently sat down for an Interview conversation that was published yesterday (February 14). During that chat, Del Rey spoke about why she decided to shift away from an NSFW cover for Did You Know That There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd. In other news regarding early plans for the album, she also revealed that it almost had an even longer title: Did You Know That There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd Pearl Watch Me On Ring A Bell Psycho Lifeguard.

She explained:

“At first, the title was definitely going to be Did You Know That There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd, and then I f*cking panicked and I went to [photographer and artist Neil Krug’s] house and said, ‘I know this is f*cked up, but I’ve changed the title. It’s going to now be called ‘Did You Know That There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd Pearl Watch Me On Ring A Bell Psycho Lifeguard.” He was like, ‘What the f*ck?’ I was like, ‘I’m not telling anyone. Just mock it up.’

He mocked it up, but we realized that maybe it was a bit much to have six titles in one. Then he was like, ‘This is reminding me of a format that I’ve always wanted to play with. What if we just used one title, but then we filled the rest of the page with everyone who’s featured and everyone who engineered it?’ He mocked that up on the portrait shot and I was like, ‘You did it.’ That was a really psychotic day because I was like, ‘Am I willing to literally burn everything down to the ground by having some strange, nonsensical title?’”

Just four months into his NBA career, rookie Shaedon Sharpe is making a habit of powering home mind-boggling dunks. He added to his quickly growing tally late in the third quarter of Tuesday’s Washington Wizards-Portland Trail Blazers contest. As the ball swung his way, Sharpe tossed up a tepid pump-fake, burned past Taj Gibson’s apathetic closeout, cocked back and coronated Kyle Kuzma, who was late arriving for help. It was quite the dunk.

That’s a filthy poster, and I don’t care that Kuzma wasn’t in primary defensive position. Sharpe cocked the ball back to be parallel with his head. Kuzma had the time to be there — or at least I’ll decide he did.

Sharpe’s bounce is absurd. His blend of power, force and explosion are special. He was initially scheduled to participate in this weekend’s Dunk Contest during All-Star festivities, but withdrew last week. I sure hope we’re treated to his services in that show sooner rather than later. He’s a delight to watch slam the ball through the hoop.

He also seems to be making sizable all-around strides lately, playing some of his best basketball over the past few weeks. On the year, the 19-year-old Canadian is averaging 7.8 points and 2.6 rebounds on 56.1 percent true shooting (.477/.355/.652 split).

Late in third quarter of Tuesday’s game between the Washington Wizards and Portland Trail Blazers, Anfernee Simons elevated for a shot and came down uncomfortably on his right ankle, which he seemed to roll pretty aggressively. As team trainers tended to him, Simons stayed put on the court for little while before three trainers and Jusuf Nurkic lifted him to his feet. Simons didn’t put any wait on his right foot as he was helped off the floor and into the locker room.

He’s since been ruled out for the remainder of the night.

The Blazers entered Tuesday’s contest already without starting center Jusuf Nurkic through at least the All-Star Break, so Simons’ injury could be another brutal blow to a team fighting for a playoff berth.

For Simons, it’s especially tough. He’d built upon his breakout second half from last year and was slated to participate in the three-point contest at All-Star Weekend alongside teammate Damian Lillard. Simons has established himself as a premier offensive talent this season and proven integral to Portland’s fifth-ranked offense.

Through 55 games, the slippery fifth-year guard was averaging 21.4 points, 4.2 assists and 2.7 rebounds on 58.8 percent true shooting (.451/.381/.910 split). Together, he and Lillard form one of the league’s most potent scoring duos. Hopefully, Simons’ recovery goes as smoothly as possible and he can return to help power Portland’s playoff push.

As of today (February 14) Drake reportedly is no longer required to sit for a deposition in the case of the murder of rapper XXXTentacion, according to TMZ.

Earlier this month, it was reported that Drake was subpoenaed to give a deposition by attorney Mauricio Padilla, who is representing suspect Dedrick Williams in the case. If he failed to show up to deposition, which was scheduled for February 24, he would be required to appear in court on February 27.

Drake’s legal team reportedly told the court that the aforementioned subpoena was unreasonable, as there is no sort of evidence potentially linking Drake to the murder.

“It is both unreasonable and oppressive to subpoena an out-of-state party who has not been mentioned in any reports, any investigation, or referenced to have any involvement in this matter,” Drake’s attorney Bradford M. Cohen wrote, according to ;Billboard. “To mandate that he appear for deposition for something that he very clearly has no relevant knowledge of is unreasonable.”

It appears that Judge Michael A. Usan agreed with Cohen’s statement, and has therefore has exempt Drake from giving a deposition or in court.

Though, TMZ also reports that there is still time for Padilla to convince Judge Husan there’s some other cause for Drake to be deposed, and issue a new subpoena, however, time is running out.
