Tiny houses are still a popular choice for people trying to downsize but tiny houses for cats are springing up in one man’s backyard. Barna, thought he was doing a good deed for a stray cat that decided that he kinda liked hanging out in this human’s backyard. The cat would show up but at first wouldn’t eat the food set out for him, that didn’t stop Barna.
The man continued to set food out for the cat. Taking note of the changing weather, Barna decided to take one of his hobbies and build the cat, now named Domino a cozy little house. Building things is a hobby for the man, so he made sure to equip Domino’s tiny abode with a heating pad, light and camera.
Before too long the situation turned into a version of the famous children’s book, If You Give a Mouse a Cookie. Another cat showed up, because of course Domino had a bestie but it didn’t stop there.
Barna built a tiny two story condo for the two cats to hang out in while still keeping Domino’s original tiny house. The backyard looks like it was made to host furry tenants in a makeshift cat community because more cats indeed showed up. Now the tuxedo cat has several neighbors to hang out with and thanks to Barna, none of the cats look like they’re missing any meals.
“We have about four or five cats who will go in and sleep in the houses,” Barna tells The Dodo. “One night one of the biggest storms of the year hit, I saw that two kittens actually took shelter in the house. That was one of the sweetest things ever.”
Barna has cameras set up inside and outside of the itty bitty kitty community so he can keep an eye on his feline neighbors. The cats’ landlord expresses that he feels gratification seeing his little houses be used by furry tenants. Having a group of cats around probably isn’t too terrible for keeping pests away either so it’s a win for all involved.
Three years after releasing her second studio album, Happier Than Ever, Billie Eilish is preparing to follow up with Hit Me Hard And Soft. Slated for release on May 17, the album won’t be accompanied by any singles, as Billie wants fans to experience it all at once. After the tracklist was prematurely shared by Rolling Stone, Billie shared it herself. During her surprise appearance at Coachella, she previewed one song, “Lunch,” which turned out to be one of her raciest yet — which aligned with her assessment‘ that, “I feel like every time you put anything out, it feels like your nudes leaked a little bit, and I think this one, specifically, is like that.”

Tom Brady is making his highly-anticipated move to the broadcast booth this NFL season. In the aftermath of his first retirement from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Brady agreed to a deal with Fox, but he did not immediately join the network after his second retirement, instead choosing to take some time before his new gig began.
Now, Brady is ready to take on broadcasting, and on Monday, he learned his first assignment during an appearance at the 2024 Fox upfront presentation. Michael Strahan joined him on stage and informed Brady that he’ll start the season in Cleveland calling the Browns’ game against the Dallas Cowboys. And after learning this news, Brady seemed to subconsciously make a joke about one of the starting QBs in the game.
“Obviously, having the Cowboys on is a huge draw,” Brady said. “As America’s Team — that’s gonna be a little hard for me to say that all the time, understand they were the competition for a long time. But, in this new role, I know the Cowboys, how important they are to this network. They got great storylines. Come on, Dak Prescott, let’s see if he can finally come through. One of the great defensive players…did that just slip out?”
Brady was unable to finish his thought about that great defensive player, Micah Parsons, because his Prescott line made the crowd bust out laughing. Then, in a show of how big of a deal this is for Fox, Brady and Strahan were joined on stage by Gordon Ramsay and got the green light to drop an f-bomb.
The Cleveland Cavaliers already face an uphill battle in their quest to beat the Boston Celtics and earn a berth in the Eastern Conference Finals, as the team faces a 2-1 hole in their series against the favorites to lift the Larry O’Brien trophy. That task will get a little more difficult on Monday night, as star guard Donovan Mitchell will not be able to play in Game 4.
Mitchell was listed as questionable for much of the day on Monday, and eventually, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reported that the All-Star will not be able to play due to a calf injury that flared up towards the end of Game 3, according to Cavaliers coach JB Bickerstaff.
ESPN Sources: Cleveland Cavaliers star Donovan Mitchell — who’s averaging nearly 30 points in playoffs — will miss Game 4 vs. the Boston Celtics tonight with a left calf strain. Huge loss for Cavs in a telltale home game down 2-1 in series. pic.twitter.com/fCaUymh6i0
An injury to Mitchell is the worst-case scenario for the Cavs, as he’s been the brightest spot on the roster by some margin during the playoffs. He’s averaging 29.6 points, 5.4 rebounds, 4.7 assists, and 1.3 steals in 38.2 minutes per game while shooting 47.6 percent from the field and 35.4 percent from three. He’s upped his scoring to 31.7 points per game during the three matchups with the Celtics so far.
Cleveland is already going into the game without Jarrett Allen, who has not played since he suffered a rib injury in Game 4 of the team’s first round series against the Orlando Magic.
“Saturday Night Live” is known for its comedic exaggerations that poke fun at real life, but skit about motherhood from SNL Season 44 isn’t really an exaggeration at all.
The skit, called “The Perfect Mother” stars actors Emma Thompson and Heidi Gardner as a mom-daughter pair talking about motherhood. Gardner plays a harried mom with young children, sporting a messy bun and a toy-strewn living room, while Thompson plays her mother, a calm, well-put-together older woman with matching jewelry and loads of sage wisdom.
Gardner asks Thompson how she raised her as “the perfect mother” without losing her mind, and what we see is the stark difference between what Thompson says it was like for her as a mom with young kids—”Every moment was a joy”— and flashbacks of what it was actually like when her kids were little—“Why won’t you f**ing sleep?!?”
Most mothers will recognize the moments of frustration, angst and general hot-messness that come with mothering young children, and many will recognize the rose-colored glasses an/or denial people often utilize when looking back on the past.
Watch:
The skit hit home with people in the comments.
“I know this is supposed to be funny but honestly this is deep,” wrote one person. “This is basically what every mom (and a lot of dads) has to go through and nobody even realizes.”
“And there’s people who see us struggling and shame us for seeming like Moms aren’t trying hard enough to keep things in order.. pfft,” shared another.
“Dude, the giraffe part nailed it. All of this has reassured me that my husband and I aren’t failing as parents and that everyone is just bullshitting,” offered another.
“This may be the most life accurate sketch SNL has done, and one of its funniest. So many memories from my childhood, and my parenthood mirror this,” wrote another.
“This is literally the best most realistic thing I have ever seen about parenting! So flawless. I did not stop laughing the whole time,” shared another.
Seeing the reality of motherhood reflected back on us is refreshing, especially when we do so often hear older moms talk about their child-rearing years as if it wasn’t that difficult. “Momnesia” is a real phenomenon—as the years pass, we start to forget about all the sleep deprivation, the crying and whining, the constant messes, the inexplicable things you never imagined a kid would do and so on. Those hard parts of parenting fade in our memories over time, while the sweetness, the adorableness, the joy tends to get magnified.
Older moms can be helpful sources of practical advice and encouragement, but we have to be aware that they’ve probably forgotten how hard it really was and take what they say about their personal experiences with a grain of salt. On the other hand, perhaps it’s good to know that we will eventually forget a lot of the frustrating parts while holding firmly to the fond memories of our children’s childhoods.
It’s no secret that even the most seemingly safe of public places can instantly turn dangerous for a woman. Is it fair? No. But is it common? Absolutely, to the point where more and more women are documenting moments of being stalked or harassed as a grim reminder to be aware of one’s surroundings.
Lacie (@lacie_kraatz) is one of those women. On April 11th, she was out on a run when she noticed a man in front of her displaying suspicious behavior. Things got especially dicey when the man somehow got behind her. That’s when she pulled out her phone and started filming—partially to prove that it wasn’t just her imagination, and also out of fear for her safety.
“Hello. I’m just making this video so that women are a little more aware of them,” she begins in the video. “See this gentleman behind me? Yeah, this is what this video’s about.”
According to Lacie, the two were initially running in opposite directions. But at some point after seeing her, the man stopped in the middle of the trail and waited for her to pass so that he could follow her path from behind.
“Now, I know what you’re thinking—‘Why are you suspecting that he’s following you?’” Lacie continues. “Well, let me tell you. I was just walking like this, and I look up, and he’s in front of me, and he just keeps doing a ‘peek’ like this behind him, over and over again.”
Lacie added that at one point, she even made an illegal crossing when “do not walk” sign was still up in an attempt to put some distance between herself and the man. After looking over her shoulder, she noticed that the man was visibly “speeding” to keep up.
In case there is still any doubt, Lacie then begins to run to see if the man will follow suit. Sure enough, he does.
Luckily the man eventually seems to give up, though he still seems to be watching her from a distance. Lacie ends up safe back home, but she didn’t even accomplish what she set out to do that afternoon.
“I couldn’t even finish my run,” she concludes. “I only ran like a mile and a half. I wanted to do 3 miles, but no—creepy men just had to be creepy f****** men today.”
Countless women empathized with Lacie in the comments section. Clearly, this was not a unique circumstance.
“What I do when I’m being followed is act feral,” yet another person shared. “Like I’ll bark and growl really loud and flail my arms around. If you look crazy, you’re doin’ it right.”
Another added, “Man, nothing pisses me off more than men who make me feel uncomfortable doing things that I NEED to do for my health and well-being.”
Others tried to give their own tips for handling the situation, from finding nearby police or fire stations to using a variety of running trails to simply notifying the first visible passerby of what’s happening and asking to stand with them.
And of course, the resounding advice was to use the public space, and modern-day technology, to one’s advantage.
As one person wrote, “Girls we have got to normalize turning around and yelling at people following us. Let them know you know, take pictures of them, scream, make a scene.”
It’d be nice if these kinds of unsettling interactions didn’t exist. But here we are. At the very least, it’s good that women are speaking up more so that these situations are easier to spot early on and women can know how to navigate them in the safest way possible.

Much of the time, celebrity memoirs lead to oversharing and too much saturation for any given celebrity. That was not the case with Julia Fox, whose unsolicited advice for Pete Davidson perked up ears at around the same stage that most people tune out a “memoir era.” The same goes for Julia’s revelations about her bizarre Kanye West situationship of late 2021-early 2022. To briefly recap, the two revealed that the were dating in December 2021, and by February 2022, Julia let everyone know that they were dunzo. Then she told Drew Barrymore that dating Kanye was like having a second baby because he wanted her focus on him 24/7.
Fox further revealed that she and Kanye had never had sex (even though offered a “boob job” to her), and maybe considering those exhaustive details, it isn’t much of a stretch to learn that Julia has been celibate for “2.5 years,” which (if accurate) means that she hasn’t done the deed since pre-Kanye.
Yup. According to Page Six, Fox popped up on a response thread to a Bumble ad that appeared in a TikTok video. The ad in question involved billboards reading, “A vow of celibacy is not the answer.”
Julia’s response? “2.5 years of celibacy and never been better tbh.”
Choice replies included both “Yesss Julia Fox!!! Same. What a stupid ad … celibacy is truly a special kind of power.” And honestly, good on Julia Fox for knowing what she wants — and doesn’t want in life.
Sydney Sweeney‘s 2024 got off to an impressive start. First she led the Rom Com revival with Anyone But You, then she starred in Immaculate, a chilling horror flick that secured Sweeney’s status as a Scream Queen. And somewhere in there, she also starred in a Marvel movie, but that was the least important thing she has done this year alone. Next on the docket, Sweeney is set to star in a Barbarella remake, which might have found its director.
Deadline reports that Scott Pilgrim director Edgar Wright is in talks to direct the film, which will be a remake of the 1968 sci-fi adventure which starred Jane Fonda as the titular character. Sweeney is also set to produce, while Jane Goldman and Honey Ross are in talks to write.
The film follows Barbarella, a space traveler who represents United Earth, as she sets out on a new dangerous mission. Sweeney will star as the lead, and no other casting announcements have been made at this time. Maybe Glenn Powell can sneak in there for a quick scene? He’s already been buddying up with Wright.
Despite the cold reception that Madame Web was met with, Sweeney insisted that all of her career moves are meticulous. “To me, that [Madame Web] was a building block. It’s what allowed me to build a relationship with Sony. Without doing Madame Web, I wouldn’t have a relationship with the decision-makers over there,” the actress said earlier this year.
She added that she would never have been given the opportunity to move forward with Barbarella if it weren’t for the superhero flick. “Everything in my career I do not just for that story, but strategic business decisions. Because I did that, I was able to sell Anyone but You. I was able to get Barbarella.” ….And it’s because of ALL of this that Sweeney landed a coveted spot on Hot Ones! She knows what she’s doing.
