“The bespoke arena will feature a combination of seated grandstands and standing areas with capacity for 80,000 people per night,” a statement about the venue read, according to Variety. This is basically going to be massive, and a way bigger experience than the capacity of her Vegas shows.
Here’s what to know about how much you should be saving to attend.
How Much Are Tickets For Adele’s 2024 Concerts In Germany?
Right now, it’s unclear how much the tickets for Adele’s Munich concerts will be. As a comparison, her Vegas residency tickets were sold out, leaving the only options being through StubHub and other resale sites. There, according to one Rolling Stone article, the lowest they happened to find was $430 — but the ticket prices will likely be higher than that.
The typical amount seems to be around $900-$1,100 per ticket for Adele’s shows currently.
Fans can register for presale ticket access until February 5 at 6 p.m. CET. The presale then opens on February 7 at 10 a.m. CET. More information can be found on Adele’s website.
Larry David‘s favorite episode of Seinfeld is “The Contest,” but what about Curb Your Enthusiasm? Maybe “The Doll” (the one with the most uncomfortable ending in the show’s history), or the introduction of Leon Black in “The Anonymous Donor,” or maybe the Seinfeld reunion in the season seven finale. All great options, but at the premiere of the 12th and final season of the HBO comedy, David told Variety his favorite: “Palestinian Chicken.”
The season eight episode, directed by Robert B. Weide and written by David, Alec Berg, David Mandel, and Jeff Schaffer, has Larry becoming obsessed with a Palestinian restaurant — and a gorgeous Palestinian woman who works there — that’s next to a Jewish deli. “This would be a fantastic place for Jews who are cheating on their spouses to come to,” he tells his buddy Jeff at one point. “Because no Jews ever come here. They’d be so safe.”
“Palestinian Chicken” ends with Larry torn between his religion (and his friends) and his love of chicken and women who offer to have threesomes with her and her sister. The episode is also the origin of this meme. That’s probably not why it’s Larry’s favorite, but it doesn’t hurt.
Curb Your Enthusiasm season 12 premieres on February 4.
Over the past few months, internet users have discovered Bobbi Althoff — a social media personality who gained traction by interviewing rappers like Drake and more celebrities. Her deadpan personality raised questions as to whether she actually liked the people she was speaking to.
This was elevated when fans had noticed that Drake unfollowed Althoff shortly after their interview, as she had also been spotted at his concert — in a viral moment where she does the same deadpan expression. Their interview was also eventually removed.
Here’s what to know.
Do Drake And Bobbi Althoff Have Beef?
According to Althoff, no, they don’t. She recently appeared on Keke Palmer’s podcast, where she was asked about Drake and the unfollowing.
“He’s a very nice person,” Althoff added. “Him and Funny Marco. Both of them definitely changed my whole entire life.”
She also answered that the two speak quite a bit, with the last time she talked to Drake being “a couple weeks, maybe a month ago.”
Later in Althoff’s interview with Palmer, the two touched on the rumors about her being an “industry plant,” as they joked about sharing the same manager. “I don’t have any ties, though,” Althoff said. “I feel like my life would have been a lot easier if I had ties.”
Next up for Nicholas Cage, the horror movie Longlegs from writer/director Osgood Perkins, which has been slowly building up hype thanks to a steady drip of cryptic tweets and teasers. Maika Monroe is also along for the ride, but so far the plot of Longlegs is being kept tightly under wraps. However, everything we’ve seen so far suggests a disturbing and gruesome murder mystery.
Case in point, these official Longlegs tweets from NEON that just dropped in the past 24 hours:

What Is The ‘Longlegs’ Horror Movie Starring Nic Cage About?
While the marketing for Longlegs has been playing things close to the vest, the film seems to focus on families are who targeted by some sort of occult killer that might be played by Cage or not. Again, the whole thing is a creepy mystery, which only adds to the allure.
It seems that it follows a serial killer who has been working for a number of years, since the teasers give us reports of crimes ranging from 1974 all the way up to at least 1992. We know that Maika Monroe (It Follows) will star in the movie as an FBI agent investigating these crimes, and we know that Nicolas Cage is in the movie — possibly as the killer, though we don’t know for sure.
You can watch another teaser for Longlegs below:
Longlegs will arrive in theaters sometime in 2024 because even the release date is hiding in the shadows.
Yesterday (January 30), Adele got people excited with a mysterious teaser promising a new announcement today. Well, the news is here, and it’s pretty impressive: She’s performing a run of shows in Munich, Germany on August 2, 3, 9, and 10, in a new concert venue that was made specifically for these concerts.
“So a few months ago I got a call about a summer run of shows. I’ve been content as anything with my shows in London’s Hyde Park and my residency in Vegas, so I hadn’t had any other plans. However, I was too curious to not follow up and indulge in this idea – a one off, bespoke pop-up stadium designed around whatever show I want to put on? Ohh!? Pretty much slap bang in the middle of Europe? In Munich? That’s a bit random, but still fabulous! Right after the Euros? Come on England! With the Olympics next door? Go on Simone! And some of my favourite artists playing shows too? Why…YES!! I haven’t played in Europe since 2016! I couldn’t think of a more wonderful way to spend my summer and end this beautiful phase of my life and career with shows closer to home during such an exciting summer. Guten Tag babes x.”
According to a press release (per Variety), the shows are going down at Munich Messe in “an open-air environment that has been exclusively created for these special shows.” The release also notes, “The bespoke arena will feature a combination of seated grandstands and standing areas with capacity for 80,000 people per night.” For reference, that’s about the same capacity as New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium, which has 82,500 seats.

Super Bowl LVIII is more than just a football game between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers. “It’s also a live game of Where’s Waldo? starring Taylor Swift,” said host Jimmy Kimmel during Tuesday’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live. “I don’t know if you’ve seen this, but there’s some serious crazy talk about Taylor Swift and Joe Biden going around.” There sure is: the Super Bowl will apparently be rigged in favor of the Chiefs so that Taylor — who also is a psyop according to these nutjobs — will endorse Joe Biden.
Kimmel read a tweet from conservative businessman Mike Crispi, who wrote, “The NFL is totally RIGGED for the Kansas City Chiefs, Taylor Swift, Mr. Pfizer (Travis Kelce). All to spread DEMOCRAT PROPAGANDA. Calling it now: KC wins, goes to Super Bowl, Swift comes out at the halftime show and “endorses” Joe Biden with Kelce at midfield.” There’s more paranoia where that came from.
“So let me get this straight,” said Kimmel, trying to make sense of this nonsense. “The same people who believe Joe Biden has dementia and needs Kamala Harris to feed him butterscotch tapioca every night also believe that he has somehow planned and executed a diabolically brilliant scheme to fix the NFL playoffs so the biggest pop star in the world could pop up on the Jumbotron during the Super Bowl during a Kia and a Tostitos commercial to hypnotize her 11-year-old fans into voting for Joe Biden?”
Earlier this month, a Talking Heads tribute album was announced, with a teaser of Paramore’s rendition of the classic “Burning Down The House.” Well, the full song is out now, along with more info about the album, dubbed Everyone’s Getting Involved: A Tribute To Talking Heads’ Stop Making Sense. The tribute album is part of the anniversary celebrations of the Stop Making Sense concert film and album, which were both released in 1984.
The tracklist hasn’t been revealed yet (in terms of who’s performing what), but the list of contributing artists has been. Along with Paramore, the project also features BadBadNotGood, Blondshell, The Cavemen, Chicano Batman Feat. Money Mark, DJ Tunez, El Mató a un Policía Motorizado, Girl In Red, Jean Dawson, Kevin Abstract, The Linda Lindas, Lorde, Miley Cyrus, The National, Teezo Touchdown, and Toro y Moi. The project will feature all 16 songs from the original album.
The Everyone’s Getting Involved release date hasn’t been shared yet either, but you can listen to Paramore’s cover of “Burning Down The House” right now, above.

Last summer, Taylor Swift’s “August” went viral on TikTok thanks to an adorable pet-spinning trend. Viral moments aside, Swift’s songs are consistently popular on the video platform, but at the moment, their future on the site looks uncertain.
Are Taylor Swift’s Songs Leaving TikTok?
Maybe.
Universal Music Group currently has beef with TikTok, which could result in them pulling their artists’ songs from the platform. UMG artists include heavy-hitters like Swift, Drake, Billie Eilish, Bad Bunny, The Weeknd, Post Malone, Justin Bieber, Adele, J Balvin, and many others. As of this post, Swift’s songs are still available to use when creating a new TikTok post.
In an open letter shared yesterday (January 30), UMG noted that its licensing agreement with TikTok expires today (January 31). As for negotiations to renew the contract, they have so far not been fruitful.
The letter notes, “The terms of our relationship with TikTok are set by contract, which expires January 31, 2024. In our contract renewal discussions, we have been pressing them on three critical issues — appropriate compensation for our artists and songwriters, protecting human artists from the harmful effects of AI, and online safety for TikTok’s users.”
It goes on to say:
“As our negotiations continued, TikTok attempted to bully us into accepting a deal worth less than the previous deal, far less than fair market value and not reflective of their exponential growth. How did it try to intimidate us? By selectively removing the music of certain of our developing artists, while keeping on the platform our audience-driving global stars.
TikTok’s tactics are obvious: use its platform power to hurt vulnerable artists and try to intimidate us into conceding to a bad deal that undervalues music and shortchanges artists and songwriters as well as their fans.
We will never do that.
We will always fight for our artists and songwriters and stand up for the creative and commercial value of music.”
The letter concludes:
“We recognize the challenges that TikTok’s actions will cause, and do not underestimate what this will mean to our artists and their fans who, unfortunately, will be among those subjected to the near-term consequences of TikTok’s unwillingness to strike anything close to a market-rate deal and meaningfully address its obligations as a social platform. But we have an overriding responsibility to our artists to fight for a new agreement under which they are appropriately compensated for their work, on a platform that respects human creativity, in an environment that is safe for all, and effectively moderated.
We honor our responsibilities with the utmost seriousness. Intimidation and threats will never cause us to shirk those responsibilities.”
“It is sad and disappointing that Universal Music Group has put their own greed above the interests of their artists and songwriters.
Despite Universal’s false narrative and rhetoric, the fact is they have chosen to walk away from the powerful support of a platform with well over a billion users that serves as a free promotional and discovery vehicle for their talent.
TikTok has been able to reach ‘artist-first’ agreements with every other label and publisher. Clearly, Universal’s self-serving actions are not in the best interests of artists, songwriters and fans.”
Ultimately, if WMG and TikTok do not reach some sort of agreement before their current contract expires, it looks like TikTok users might have to go without songs by Swift and others.
People are used to hearing quote worthy sentences with the dramatic flair when it comes to the likes of Shakespeare or Emily Brontë. It’s the kind of sentence structure that makes everything sound like a love affair with the English language as you imagine someone writing with quill and ink. Maybe the English language has gotten a bit sloppy or lazy over the years.
But it seems that Nigerians have never stopped having a flair for the dramatics when it comes to speaking, at least that’s what people on the internet have revealed. Recently a podcast ClxpsAndGxgs uploaded a clip to TikTok to discuss an X thread they discovered.
“Nigerians speak so poetic when they’re upset, instead of saying, ‘I’m mad,’ they’ll say, ‘my enemies have succeeded,'” one of the hosts reads before bursting into laughter.
This is apparently just how many Nigerians speak, because the comment section of the original X post which appeared in 2021 and the comments under the recent video give near endless examples.
One of the co-hosts reads out a response to the original post, “my Naija professor once said, ‘they’ve made an assassination attempt on my life,’ when he slipped on a piece of paper.” The theatrics in speech were too much for the other co-host to bear as he called out how dramatic it was to call slipping on a piece of paper an assassination attempt.
But maybe, just maybe we could have a little more fun with the English language. Clearly, Americans haven’t figured out how to give our sentences the proper enhancements because speaking this way seems much more fun. The examples of this exquisite use of self-expression via the spoken word continued in the comments.
Nigerians Speak so Poethically #shxtsngigs #nigerians
One person writes, “my Nigerian friend angry at another friend who’s terrible at charades, ‘he sits under the tree of knowledge, yet not a single fruit falls into his lap.”
Another says, “A Nigerian friend of mine said, ‘the image of God is expanding,’ commenting on my weight gain. I could not even be mad.”
One commenter reveals, “when I walk in with a serious look, my Nigerian mom would ask me, ‘my daughter why does your face look like a formal letter?'”
Someone said they need these little nuggets in the form of a daily calendar and they just might be on to something. Who wouldn’t love a little Nigerian wordsmithing sitting at the ready?
After missing two games against the Nuggets and Blazers with knee soreness, Joel Embiid was back in the lineup for the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday night as they took on the Warriors in San Francisco, but the reigning MVP did not look quite right for much of the night.
Embiid was not looking to attack smaller defenders in the same way he often is, and didn’t seem to be moving particularly well as the Sixers found themselves trailing for most of the night. As the fourth quarter wound down, the Warriors had taken full control of the game with a double digit lead when disaster struck for the Sixers. Embiid got the ball poked away by Jonathan Kuminga helping down on him as he backed down Draymond Green, and as players scrambled for the loose ball, Kuminga jumped to secure it and landed on Embiid’s outstretched left leg, pushing his knee backwards towards the ground.

Embiid immediately grasped at his knee in significant pain, rolling on the court before eventually getting up and limping to the locker room. The hope for the Sixers, their fans, and the league as a whole is that it was more scary than anything for Embiid, but there will further testing coming for the Sixers star center to determine the severity of the injury. For now, everyone will hope it wasn’t especially serious and wasn’t something that will keep him out long-term and threaten to end his season.
