As Cena turned heel at the instruction of The Rock, Scott couldn’t help himself but to sneak in a few hits. Users online joked about Scott’s brutal blows, but The Rock showed his support in the post-event press conference (viewable here).
“We have this opportunity to create this big moment in pro wrestling that is arguably one of the biggest,” he said. “We had an opportunity to bring Travis Scott in too and start to form a union and an alliance with The Final Boss and Travis Scott. He wanted to get, to steal a term, he wanted to get his hands bloody. I whispered to him as we were going out, ‘if you get your hands bloody, make it count. Make it count.’ He slapped the sh*t out of Cody. He was really hyped up.”
Travis Scott has plenty of musical accolades. Now, the question is can replicate that in the WWE.
Drake surely has been flying around the world with his woes. The “Gimme A Hug” rapper’s latest jet-setting journey brought him back to his hometown.
Yesterday (March 1), Drake decided to take enjoy the WWE’s Elimination Chamber match at Rogers Centre in Toronto, Canada. Initially, Drake put forth his best efforts to remain incognito swapping out his usually flashy floor seat attire. But, despite Drake being dressed in a low brimmed camouflage cap, plain black pullover hoodie, and no icy diamond pendants fellow attendees still managed to spot him in the crowd.
Eventually, Drake gave up on keeping a low profile. So, when the broadcast cameras swung his way (as he was seated behind the announcers’ desk), Drake played up to the camera just like a typical WWE lover would (viewable here).
Drake alongside Lil Yacthy and another OVO associate enjoyed the remained of the event uninterrupted. Viewers say, the WWE didn’t even make an announcement about him being in the attendance.
Well, that was until Logan Paul gave Drake a shoutout from within the actual elimination chamber. As Paul waited to enter the ring, with a marker he wrote out “OVO” and then pointed in Drake’s direction. With Lil Yacthy filming the moment (viewable here), you can see Drake visibly appreciated the gesture.
Although Drake seemed to have a great time his Australian fans are petty peeved. Last month, Drake canceled his remaining four The Anita Max Win Tour dates due to a “scheduling conflict.” Online Aussies are slamming Drake for bailing on them but popping up at other events on the other side of the globe.
Charlie Hunnam has been missing too long from TV since the Sons Of Anarchy finale with its soap-operatic, green-screened madness on FX. Following the logistical nightmare known as Apple TV+’s Shantaram production, he spent time in Zack Snyder-land, but finally, Hunnam was revealed to be returning to TV bad-dude mode with Prime Video/Amazon’s Criminal, which still doesn’t have a release date. Yet he has already moved into his next killer role, which moves beyond mere baddie status. Hunnam has joined Netflix’s Monster as a notorious murderer who still influences pop culture, so let’s look at the evidence on what to expect from the third season of the Ryan Murphy series.
Plot
Getty Image
As Netflix bingewatchers are aware, the first Monster dramatized Jeffrey Dahmer’s (Evan Peters) tour of terror, and Monsters followed Lyle and Erik Menendez’s murder of their parents. Both of those seasons included the killers’ names in the season titles, but as Ryan Murphy revealed to Collider, they are going in a different direction with this third season, formally titled The Original Monster because that’s kind of what he was.” The “he” is Ed Gein, and this third season began shooting on Halloween last year.
Gein was the inspiration for Norman Bates in Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho (Hitchcock will be dramatized in this season, too) and Tobe Hooper’s Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Literature (and later, cinema) continued to use Gein’s homicidal and sadistic acts as a template, including with Bret Easton Ellis’ American Psycho. For that reason, Murphy will use this season to make commentary upon how (in the 1950s) Gein became the first murderer (not to mention grave robber) who fascinated the public. And that’s still a phenomenon that occurs today, as Penn Badgley has attested to with discomfort after portraying a lusted-after, fictional serial killer in Netflix You (and also after Badgley noted the fascination surrounding the Dahmer season).
This season should feed that beast, and in all likelihood, we ain’t seen nothing yet in the bingewatching obsession department, given Gein’s ^^^ good looks (Hunnam was surely cast for his eerie resemblance, along with his talent). Also, Murphy told Collider that he had “always” wanted to work with the man who portrayed Jax Teller, “[s]o I met with Charlie and he’s just the most lovely person. He liked what we were doing. He liked what it’s about.” The always-busy showrunner and producer elaborated more:
“We were interested in this idea of, ‘Where did our cultural interest in serial killers begin? Where and how did this all start?’ Based on our research, the very first one who became a celebrity at that level was Ed, who was an instant crazy celebrity from the moment he was arrested … Nobody had ever heard of anything like that.”
A new crime-dramatizing era was arguably born through Gein’s arrest, and this season will touch on his influence that reached into Silence of the Lambs (Gein became known for his “skin suit” fixation) as well as reflect upon his schizophrenia and the countless homicides that he was suspected of, although he only confessed to two murders and spent the rest of his life behind bars.
For a less dramatized version of this story, MGM+ also recently tackled Gein’s crimes with the Psycho: The Lost Tapes of Ed Gein docuseries.
Cast
Charlie Hunnam will turn heads and stomachs as Ed Gein. His mother will be portrayed by Laurie Metcalf, according to Variety, which added that Tom Hollander is onboard as Alfred Hitchcock with Olivia Williams as Alma Reville, wife to Hitchcock.
The Insneider newsletter has exclusively reported that scream queen Addison Rae (He’s All That, Thanksgiving) and Suzanna Son (The Idol, Red Rocket) have also joined the cast.
Release Date
Monster‘s first two seasons were two years apart, so we might be waiting until Sept. 2026 if the pattern sticks. However, rumors have swirled that 2025 is happening, so we shall see.
Trailer
Hunnam’s Sons Of Anarchy performance contained plenty of straight-up brutal moments that forecast his ability to portray a notorious killer. The below clip, however, comes with Bonus Taylor Sheridan.
Peaky Blinders finished with both big f*cking bangs and small mercies. Tommy Shelby’s final scenes of the series could have fittingly been the end, but by popular curiosity, Cillian Murphy and series creator Steven Knight decided to continue Tommy’s Birmingham adventures with a feature film. God only knows where either creative force found the time, and Knight in particular has been occupied with getting another gang, the Forty Elephants, off the ground with A Thousand Blows series (including a Stephen Graham crossover) on Hulu.
Although we might not ever receive another Taboo season from Knight, it sure sounds like we’ll get much more Peaky, so let’s get down to business on what to expect from the Immortal Man movie.
Obviously, Cillian Murphy is back as Tommy, and amid the list of returning cast members from the BBC/Netflix show, we can count in Stephen Graham (as Hayden Stagg), Sophie Rundle (as Ada Shelby Thorne), Packy Lee (Johnny Dogs), Ned Dennehy (Charlie Strong), and Ian Peck (Curly).
Actress Kate Phillips recently confirmed (via Radio Times) she will not return as Arthur’s wife, Linda (“I’m not. There were discussions and then it didn’t pan out”). If we consider the duo a package deal, this likely seals the deal (albeit without a production statement) on Anderson sitting this one out.
Likewise, Finn Cole has put a nail in the idea of Michael Gray possibly returning as the ghost of Insufferable Michael. In doing so, Cole remarked, “It seems like there’s a whole new cast,” which heads right into our next paragraph.
New characters will be portrayed by Rebecca Ferguson, Tim Roth, and Barry ^^^ Keoghan, and speculation remains strong that the latter will be portraying the older version of Duke Shelby, the illegitimate son of Tommy, who he aimed to have take over the illegal side of the family business.
And what of Tom Hardy as Alfie Solomons? Thus far, no confirmation or denial has surfaced, but it’s not difficult to imagine the Jewish gangster returning for revisionist history in WWII. Additionally, it would be a wasted opportunity to not bring back Sam Claflin as fascist/Hitler ally Sir Oswald Mosley, and perhaps the Blinders can get the job done this time after Barney Thompson (Cosmo Jarvis) was halted from completing his sniper mission. Does it matter that Mosley lived until 1980 IRL? No way. Knight has a grand time with tweaking historical events to make better TV, so let the good times roll.
Plot
Netflix/BBC
Plot details have been super sparse other than the acknowledgement that there will be a time jump for a WWII-set story, as Knight Knight told Tudum: “The country is at war, and so, of course, are our Peaky Blinders.”
Knight also recently informed BBC Breakfast (via Variety), “I would say this, wouldn’t I? But it’s fantastic. We’ve got the best, I think, the best British actors all in one place.” He added, “[N]o one will be disappointed. It is quite an incredible thing.” Then came the most illuminating part: “It’s a very fitting way to end this part of the ‘Peaky’ story.” Say what? “This part, yes … I’m not allowed to announce it, but I’m just saying that the world of ‘Peaky’ will continue.”
Previously, Knight admitted to LA Times that the fandom’s appetite has essentially provided for this movie and more:
“I always knew that the story of Tommy and the Shelby family wouldn’t end with Season 6. There is such a huge global appetite for the world of ‘Peaky Blinders,’ and so much more story to tell. I think it was around the end of Season 2 when I felt that the fan base deserved a say in the trajectory of Peaky. I’ve taken the family into World War II, and the movie we have shot is wild, explosive and deeply emotional. Even when the movie is done, there is more to come. Watch this space.”
Reading between the lines, in addition to Cillian Murphy acknowledging Tommy’s return as “this one’s for the fans,” this sounds like the ideal time for Tommy to officially pass his illegitimate business interests to Duke. Yet it remains to be seen whether an older version of Tommy and Grace’s son, Charles, will be on hand for the forward facing side of Shelby Company Ltd. Meanwhile, Ava Shelby will return with her unconditional love for Tommy, although if Lizzie is lucky, she will still be separated from him. And will we see a tribute to the late Helen McCrory as Polly? Fingers crossed.
Release Date
Netflix confirmed that filming completed last December, and although a precise release date hasn’t been revealed, Knight let Deadline know that “you can sort of work out that it will be about a year.” Peaky Fookin’ Blinders for the holidays sounds entirely possible.

In lieu of a trailer, would you care for an hour straight of Peaky walking?
We’re living in a golden age of TV shows based on video games.
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is a visual treat, while Peacock’s Twisted Metal is a lot of fun. There’s also Arcane, which recently wrapped up its acclaimed two-season run; the delightful Pokémon Concierge; and the shockingly good Sonic the Hedgehog spinoff series Knuckles. The two most prominent examples of the uptick in quality among TV show/video game adaptations, however, are The Last of Us and Fallout. They’re both wildly popular, critically admired, and were collectively nominated for (and won) a bunch of Emmys.
We’re aware of when The Last of Us is returning to HBO — but what about Prime Video’s Fallout? Here’s everything we know about season 2.
Plot
Let’s begin with a Fallout refresher. The series is set roughly 200 years following a nuclear attack, where “the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind — and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird and highly violent universe waiting for them,” according to the official logline.
The season 1 finale — in which Lucy learns the truth about her father, and teams up with The Ghoul to follow him — teases a new location for the show: Las Vegas (or “New Vegas”), one of the only major cities in North America, if not the only, that emerged from the nuclear apocalypse relatively unscathed.
“The idea that more stuff has happened, and that we’re not leaving worlds as we left them, was sort of the philosophy of approaching the first season being set in Los Angeles,” co-creator Graham Wagner told GQ about the change of setting (without straight-up confirming it). “We do hope to continue that, and create story on top of story… That’s been the entire exercise from the jump, right? 25 years of games, how do you do something on top of it, like a teetering Jenga tower. But that was always the goal. So we are hoping to do that again in another area that is strongly implied by the finale of the first season.”
Director and producer Jonathan Nolan described season 2 as “playing in the same space [as season 1], but not necessarily with the same elements.” In response, co-creator Geneva Robertson-Dworet said:
“I think what Jonah was maybe alluding to is there are 25 years of Fallout games. There were so many things that we were not able to put in the show that we really desperately wanted that are either brilliant ideas for characters, creatures, set pieces. We’re always going to be bringing in new things from the Fallout mythology as we move forward with the show.”
It’s obvious that they don’t want to give away too much about season 2, but Walton Goggins (The Ghoul) thinks the new episodes “blows [season 1] out of the water,” while Ella Purnell (Lucy) is tired of her “poop finger.”
Fallout season 2 will feature many returning faces from the first season, including Ella Purnell as Lucy, Aaron Moten as Maximus, Moisés Arias as Lucy’s brother Norm, Kyle MacLachlan as Lucy’s father Hank, Leslie Uggams as Betty, Zach Cherry as Woody, Annabel O’Hagan as Stephanie, Dave Register as Chet, and, of course, Walton Goggins as The Ghoul.
A new addition to the Fallout cast is Home Alone legend Macaulay Culkin as “a crazy genius-type character.” There’s been talk of Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul reuniting with Westworld co-creator Jonathan Nolan, as well.
Release Date
Filming for Fallout season 2 (which was officially renewed two weeks after season 1 premiered) was reportedly delayed due to the California wildfires, so don’t new episodes until 2026.
Trailer
Sadly, there’s no trailer for season 2 yet. But there is something even better: a nearly 12-minute video of the best of The Ghoul.
Every single week, our TV and film experts will list the most important ten streaming selections for you to pop into your queues. We’re not strictly operating upon reviews or accrued streaming clicks (although yes, we’ve scoured the streaming site charts) but, instead, upon those selections that are really worth noticing amid the churning sea of content. There’s a lot out there, after all, and your time is valuable.
The emotional roller coaster of this karate soap opera came to a crescendo with not only these character deaths but also the greatest possible ending (and finally, an answer to that lingering question) for Johnny Lawrence. Next up? A relative gamble with a new movie, Karate Kid: Legends, which will pair two senseis portrayed by Ralph Macchio and Jackie Chan, who train the next rising star in this franchise. Stay tuned for further word on a potential spin off.
The coolest Valentine’s Day movie headed straight onto streaming with scoring from the unbeatable score duo of Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. And because Apple TV+ cannot and will not quit with the sci-fi vibes, this story is also a creature feature about a mysterious and classified gorge guarded by a pair of impossibly attractive snipers who begin to fall in (forbidden) love from afar. The presence of Alien legend Sigourney Weaver further strengthens appeal for genre fans, and this movie really is the ideal way to spend an evening, either watching solo or (if you’re into that sort of thing) with a partner.
8. To Catch A Killer – Vertical film streaming on Netflix
Shailene Woodley, Ben Mendelsohn, and Jovan Adepo star as law enforcement agents who race against time to catch a sniper. As is almost customary, expect a character with a darkened past among the cops, but this crime-drama story does deserve its current new streaming life after a brief theatrical release. The absence of literary source material (the story hails from a screenplay by director Damián Szifron and Jonathan Wakeman) keeps spoilers to a minimum with an atypical ending to a “troubled” cop story.
More stories about grifters will always be available, but the early days of Instagram sure saw a doozy in Aussie “wellness” influencer Belle Gibson. Kaitlyn Dever picks up a less intense role than usual here but delivers the discomfort on multiple levels as the walls close in around Belle amid her fake cancer saga. Alycia Debnam-Carey portrays her main rival, Milla Blake, and this trainwreck of a story has unfortunately not resulted in much IRL punishment for Gibson. She still hasn’t paid her fine, but at least she has been shamed and removed from the snake-oil market. Also, that worm story? Yikes and pretty damn embarrassing stuff.
As has often been the case, the Dutton ranch is under siege, just like new-times. However, Jacob and Cara Dutton’s story has more to resolve in this second and final season. An especially harrowing winter will also hammer down on Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren’s characters while Brandan Sklenar’s Spencer makes his way back to his fam to shine more light upon murkier areas of the Dutton family tree. Landman star Michelle Randolph is back as Elizabeth Strafford, and somehow, this is the only currently running Taylor Sheridan series, although we can expect more of Mayor of Kingstown and the debut of The Madison (starring Michelle Pfeiffer, Matthew Fox, and Patrick J. Adams) later this year to continue the Yellowstone mythology.
If Patrick Schwarzenegger’s insufferable Saxon doesn’t go home in a body bag, then why did Mike White really bother with this season? In all seriousness, the return of Greg under his new alias, doing “this and that,” adds welcome dimension and serves as another connecting thread to earlier resort visits in this anthology series. So far, very few of this season’s privileged vacationers (Aimee Lou Wood’s character is perhaps the most tolerable) would be missed from humanity if they bit the dust. Yet at least this show does not fail to be amusing while skewering characters portrayed by Michelle Monaghan, Walton Goggins, Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon, and Parker Posey, who is doing the most to be loathsome. Also, it sure looks like Jason Isaacs’ Southern Charm-inspired a-hole could end up in cuffs if he ever returns to the United States.
The Peaky Blinders movie cannot come soon enough, but while we wait, Steven Knight has a new gangster show. This pre-Tommy Shelby series dives into the underground boxing in 1880s Victorian London, but equally important will be a showcase for another historically reigning gang, the Forty Elephants. This entirely female crime syndicate shoplifted, blackmailed, and seduced to gather loot, which they sold while amassing riches, but plenty of testosterone will also be on display, including a slight Peaky crossover with Hayden Stagg actor Stephen Graham on hand as formidable fighter Sugar Goodson. Did Graham bulk up for the role? You’d better believe it, and one of the more promising aspects of Knight writing a historically-based series is that he will not sacrifice story for the sake of nitpicky accuracy.
Jesse Plemons has a knack for surfacing in political-adjacent thrillers about dire crises and scaring the hell out of everyone. Here, he picks up a different role than expected by taking a more understated and decidedly stylish turn. This film hits both close to home in our current times and acts as escapism with Robert De Niro as an ex-president who helps trace a deadly cyberattack after it kills thousands of U.S. citizens. This limited series also stars Lizzy Caplan, Angela Bassett, and Matthew Modine and hails from Narcos creator Eric Newman. In all likelihood, a second season will not materialize, so enjoy this show for what it is.
This series has now moved on to further exploring the ins-and-outs of Innie vs. Outie sex, but the teasing glimpses of Mark’s reintegration procedure are killing the sexiness. Then again, this satire has managed to gloss over any sex appeal with an unsettling sanitized vibe since the beginning, even while nursing foot fetishes via a recent key shot. This show managed a three-year gap between seasons and is still slowly parceling out a mystery that has viewers hooked, but ideally, it won’t be another six years before the full four seasons surface. Still, this show has generated enough discussion already to at least have achieved True Detective first-season water-cooler status.
Hear me out. The second season of Alan Ritchson’s wanderer did grow a bit too ridiculous, especially with action-based characters running around in formal wear with an unbelievable helicopter-bound climax. Whereas this season returns to true adventure (while also adding extra brawn from Oliver Ritchers’ Paulie) to adapt Lee Child’s Persuader novel. Additionally, Maria Sten’s Neagley is incredibly showcased later this season to remove any doubt that she can carry a spin off. Let’s just say that her cereal obsession takes a fitting turn, and even though Reacher does have a new love interest, DEA Agent Susan Duffy (Sonya Cassidy), his platonic relationship with Neagley remains the soul of the series.
Scott is a long-time WWE fan and has become increasingly embedded in the promotion. Recent months have seen him transform from audience member to taking part in Jey Uso’s entrance during Monday Night Raw, before now joining Rock and Cena in turning on WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.
At WWE’s post-event press conference, The Rock told Uproxx that we could see Scott eventually wrestle in WWE alongside him and Cena:
“Yes, absolutely. That’s why we’re doing it. Long gaming. I love Travis. That’s my guy. Where we have expanded to in WWE, I feel like professional wrestling has always found its unique place in culture throughout the decades. We remember Rock ‘n’ Wrestling, Cyndi Lauper, Hulk Hogan, we remember the Attitude Era. Pro wrestling has had its place in culture for some time. I think we are tapping in to a unique time now, I’m not quite sure what we name this era, we’ll all figure it out. Someone will come up with something cool, I’ll say it and take credit for it,” Rock said.
“I feel like with Travis, he loves the business and loves pro wrestling. He’s a culture guy. Travis Scott is one of the greatest already, of all time. He’s a GOAT, a legend, an icon, he loves the business. We get guys and girls like that who want to come in and who are already tapping into the culture and disrupting culture in their own cool way. They want to come in, have fun at the show. Maybe they want to sit and enjoy or be on camera. But some want to get involved. Some, like Travis, deeply want to get involved. That’s what you saw tonight.
“We have this opportunity to create this big moment in pro wrestling that is arguably one of the biggest, maybe the biggest, and we had an opportunity to bring Travis Scott in too and start to form a union and an alliance with The Final Boss and Travis Scott. He wanted to get, to steal a term, he wanted to get his hands bloody. I whispered to him as we were going out, ‘if you get your hands bloody, make it count. Make it count.’ He slapped the shit out of Cody. He was really hyped up.”

WWE is officially on the build toward WrestleMania with Rock, Cena, and apparently Scott. Whether that means a match for Scott in the near term future remains to be seen.
John Cena ďefeated CM Punk, Seth Rollins, Damian Priest, Logan Paul, and Drew McIntyre to win the WWE Men’s Elimination Chamber and earn a championship match at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas.
After the match, Cody Rhodes joined Cena in the ring as Travis Scott walked out with the Rock. Rock grabbed Rhodes face and asked Rhodes if he would embrace him as his brother and he would embrace him as his champion. Rock said he wants his soul. He said if the answer is no, the Dream dies again.
Rhodes said he wants it all, and his soul no longer belongs to him. It belongs to the ring and the people. Then he told Rock to go f*** himself. Cena hugged Rhodes and finally turned heel, kicking Rhodes below the belt. Cena beat down Rhodes, then he and Scott held him down while Rock beat him with a belt.
McIntyre and Rollins opened the Elimination Chamber match, with McIntyre missing the Claymore and Rollins missing the Curb Stomp. McIntyre slammed Rollins to the outside, then smashed him against cage. Priest followed up next out of the pod, followed Paul, then Cena.
Cena came out firing, hitting everyone in the match. After connecting on an Attitude Adjustment to Paul, McIntyre hit a Claymore on Cena. Before he could pin Cena, Priest rolled him up for the surprise pinfall. McIntyre hit Priest with a Claymore and Paul hit a frog splash from the top of the pod to eliminate Priest.
Next out of the pod was Punk, who went right after Paul. Punk slammed Paul’s head into the pod glass, then stepped into the ring to face off with Cena. Rollins interrupted the showdown, booting Punk in the head. Paul jumped into the ring and caught a GTS for his trouble, getting eliminated by Punk.
Cena and Punk teamed up on Rollins to land a Hart Attack before squaring off. Cena and Punk hugged, then went to battle. Punk went for a GTS, but got countered into an STF. Punk fought out and reversed into an Anaconda Vice. Cena caught Punk, who tried a dive off the top rope, and landed the AA for a two count. Cena climbed to the top rope and Rollins powerbombed him into the cage, then threw him through a pod.
Back in the ring, Rollins and Punk traded shots, Rollins hit a pedigree, and only got the two count. Punk made his way back to his feet and hit a flying elbow drop on Rollins, then set up for the GTS. Rollins reversed, hit a buckle bomb, and then the Curb Stomp for two. Rollins set up for a top rope curb stomp, got pulled off the rope from Cena, then stepped into a GTS followed by an AA for Punk to pin him.
Punk hit a GTS on Cena for the two count, Cena hit the AA for two. Rollins hit the curb stomp on Punk, then Cena put him in the STF until he passed out.
Bianca Belair defeated Naomi, Bayley, Roxanne Perez, Alexa Bliss, and Liv Morgan to win the WWE Women’s Elimination Chamber and earn a championship match against at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas.
Jade Cargill returned from injury to attack Naomi before the bell could ring. Unable to compete, Naomi was eliminated before the match could begin. Morgan squared off with Belair, who was first out of the pods and immediately tried to come to the aide of her fallen tag team partner. Morgan took advantage early on and gained some momentum early.
Perez came firing out of the pods, and connected on a russian leg sweep into the chamber cage. Bayley was next out of the chamber pod, followed by Bliss. Perez and Bayley exchanged shots, only for Bayley to be eliminated by Morgan.
Morgan was chased up the pod by Belair, and Belair whipped her with her hair, knocking her off the pod. Belair then jumped from the top of the pod onto Morgan. Perez was knocked to the ground before Bliss hit Twisted Bliss for the pinfall.
Bliss connected on the Sister Abigail to Belair, but Morgan rolled through for the pinfall. She pulled Belair over but was only able to get a two-count. Morgan yo-yo’d Belair against the cage, pulling her hair back and forth as she slammed her head into the cage. Outside the ring, Belair held Morgan and flung her against the pod, then the cage, then the pod again.
In the ring again, Belair hit the KOD on Morgan for the pinfall, earning her spot at WrestleMania.
Escorted to the stage by friend and actress Millie Bobby Brown, Sabrina Carpenter used her address (viewable here) to hilariously thank the UK for understanding her “dry humor” or as Americans often refer to it, her “extra horny” jokes.
Read Sabrina Carpenter’s full Global Success Award speech during the 2025 BRIT Awards below.
The first time I ever came to the UK was ten years ago–I was with my mom and nobody knew who I was. Maybe ten people. But, all I kept thinking about was one day how exciting it would feel if anyone in the UK knew my music. Now, this week I get to headline the 02 [Arena] because of you guys.
And the BRITs have given me this award, and it feels like such an insane honor. In a primarily tea drinking country you guys streamed the sh*t out of ‘Espresso’ and you streamed ‘Short ‘N Sweet.’
You’ve really understood my dry sense of humor because your sense of humor is so, so, so dry. So, I love y’all more than you even understand. I want to thank Island [Records], Polydor, Universal [Music Group], my incredibly hard-working team that never sleeps, my family, my friends, my sisters–all the people I love. Most importantly, I want to thank the fans. The ones that have followed me since the beginning. The ones that have followed me since tonight. I love you so much. This is all because of you and this is for you. Thank you so much. Cheerio.
