Times are good for goose-related indie-rock bands. Geese’s Getting Killed is one of the year’s best albums while Goose have been similarly crushing it, playing their first headlining show at Madison Square Garden this past summer. Those who didn’t get to see Goose at MSG (and those who did) have some good news today (November 10), as the band announced new tour dates for 2026.
The new run of shows goes down in April and will see the band play in North Carolina, Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Texas, and Mexico. Pre-sale sign-ups are available now via the band’s website. The pre-sale starts November 12 at 10 a.m. local time. The general on-sale starts November 14 at 10 a.m. local time. This Is Lorelei (Nate Amos) is in the process of giving his back catalog some love. Last month, he announced Holo Boy, a collection of re-recorded songs from across his discography. We’ve Heard “Name That Band” so far, and today (November 10), he returns with the title track.
The 90-second recording is a lo-fi rock quick-hitter. In a statement, Amos says, “‘Holo Boy’ was originally written in Chicago sometime in 2014 or 2015. I’m pretty sure it’s the oldest song on the album and I’m pretty sure it’s one of my favorites.”
Amos previously explained how he selected the songs to appear on Holo Boy, “I tried to look at the catalog as little as possible and more just think to myself, ‘What are songs from the past that I feel like are good songs, demonstrate growth, and are significant to me, in terms of embodying a certain period of time?’”

With his second album, Backward coming on January 30, St. Louis singer Jordan Ward has announced the dates for The Apartment tour supporting it. Starting in February in Vancouver, BC, at Hollywood Theatre, the tour will feature supporting artists Asha Imuno, Nate Curry, Nali, and Planet Giza. Ward, who played Tyler The Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival about one year ago, spent much of 2024 building on the buzz from his 2023 debut Forward, last toured with JID and Smino on their Luv Is 4ever tour, but will be headlining this time around.

For at least one weekend every summer, Madrid, Spain is the place to be when the Mad Cool Festival is underway. Next year, the milestone tenth-anniversary edition is going down from July 8 to 11, and today (November 10), the lineup was announced.

Charli XCX previously described the music she wrote for the new film adaptation of Wuthering Heights as having an “elegant and brutal sound palette,” adding, “It couldn’t be more different from Brat.” Well, she wasn’t lying.
Today (November 10), Charli shared soundtrack cut “House,” a collaboration with The Velvet Underground icon John Cale. As eerie strings play, Cale says in a spoken-word intro:
“Can I speak to you privately for a moment? I just want to explain, explain the circumstances I find myself in, what and who I really am. I’m a prisoner, to live for eternity. I was thinking, ‘What is this place?’ I thought it would be perfect. I thought, ‘I want it to be perfect.’ Please. Let it be perfect. Am I living in another world, another world I created? For what? If it’s beauty, do you see beauty? If there’s beauty, say it’s enough.”
Then, he and Charli repeat together, “I think I’m gonna die in this house.”
This comes shortly after she told Gwyneth Paltrow, “I really like to work in contrast, so I think whatever I do next will just inherently be different to Brat because that’s what feels natural. I’m exploring a lot of stuff with strings at the moment, which I’m really enjoying. I haven’t really worked in that space before.”
After touring with illustrious collaborators like Freddie Gibbs and Denzel Curry, Maryland rapper Redveil has announced the dates of his headlining tour supporting supporting his upcoming album, Sankofa. The album is inspired by the West African concept of looking to the past to prepare for the future, and is due on December 4.

There hasn’t been a big Neil Diamond biopic yet, but there is something in a similar realm coming out soon: In Song Sung Blue, which is based on a true story, Kate Hudson and Hugh Jackman play a pair of struggling musicians who form a Diamond tribute band.
Hudson and Jackman, of course, have some real-life musical history of their own. Hudson just released her debut album, Glorious, last year, while Jackman famously sang in The Greatest Showman and Les Misérables. King Princess, who has been getting increasingly entrenched in the acting world lately, is here, too.

Plot
The logline reads, “Based on a true story, two down-on-their-luck musicians (Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson) form a joyous Neil Diamond tribute band, proving it’s never too late to find love and follow your dreams.”
“There’s no frills in this movie. It’s not glamorous. And there are some shots where my mom saw me as a middle-aged woman. That made us all think about what it is to get older and to come into yourself.”
She added, “You don’t know if you lean into this character and put those rollers in your hair and put on the Wisconsin accent and sing Neil Diamond music in an ’80s sparkly dress, if it’s gonna work or it’s not. You just have to believe.”
Cast
The movie stars Hugh Jackman, Kate Hudson, Michael Imperioli, Ella Anderson, King Princess, Mustafa Shakir, Hudson Hensley, Fisher Stevens, and Jim Belushi.
Writer-director Craig Brewer said to Variety of seeing Hudson do an interview in support of Glorious:
I’m a big believer in trying to find actors that are experiencing something comparable to what the character is going through. To see Kate in this interview talking about how she was getting sick of waiting for Hollywood to make up their mind about her, and that music was her thing to take charge of her life, I was like, ‘Holy sh*t, that’s what I’m making this movie about.’”
Black Sabbath played a farewell concert this summer, but tragically, weeks later, Ozzy Osbourne died at 76 years old, after years of dealing with health issues. Despite that, though, Osbourne was apparently excited by the idea of making a new album with Zakk Wylde, the guitarist who worked with Osbourne on his solo material.
“He was texting me, ‘Zakk, let’s do another record. Because I really loved it when you were going through your Allman Brothers, Skynyrd phase when we did ‘No More Tears,’ it’s heavy but it’s more melodic, it’s not pummeling heavy.’ So I said, ‘Alright Oz, whatever you want.’”
Wylde also spoke about Osbourne’s final concert, saying, “Just the fact that he willed himself to do that thing. Whatever things that we’ve run into, any obstacles or whatever, it’s always just a speed bump and we’ll get through it. So I wasn’t thinking, ‘Oh, this is the last time I’m going to see Oz.’ I just figured we’ll do the gig, and then who knows? You always stay positive on all this stuff.”
He added, “I wasn’t thinking when we were doing the show that this was the last time I’m going to be doing ‘Mama, I’m Coming Home’ with the boss or this is the last time I’m going to play ‘Crazy Train’ with him or anything like that. I was just going, ‘Let’s do this and let’s have a good time,’ like always.”
Lorde has been trekking around the world on her Ultrasound World Tour recently (here’s what the setlist has looked like). She hit a snag this past weekend, though, when she had a bout of food poisoning severe enough that she had to call off a show.
In a message shared on her Instagram Story last night (November 9), Lorde explained:
“Luxembourg I’m so sorry to have to tell you that I came down with ruthless food poisoning last night and am still too sick to play for you today. I’ve been resting all day hoping I’d be well enough but I can hardly stand up and you deserve more.
My sincerest apologies to anyone inconvenienced or upset by this. I can’t tell you how much I was looking forward to it: our first ever Lux show, first night of Ultrasound EU and our one show with @oklou, it’s beyond gutting. Please know that if there was ANY way I could pull it off, I’d be out there.
We are actively working with the promoter on rescheduling so hold on to your tickets for now – refunds will be offered if the new date’s no good for you.

Keeping up with new music can be exhausting, even impossible. From the weekly album releases to standalone singles dropping on a daily basis, the amount of music is so vast it’s easy for something to slip through the cracks. Even following along with the Uproxx recommendations on a daily basis can be a lot to ask, so every Monday we’re offering up this rundown of the best new music this week.
This week saw Rosalía with the week’s biggest release and Hayley Williams continue to expand upon her latest solo album. Yeah, it was a great week for new music. Check out the highlights below.
Featured on Rosalía’s new album Lux are people like Björk and Yves Tumor, but there are some icons in the songwriting credits, too. On “Reliquia,” for instance, Rosalía collaborated with Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, best known as half of Daft Punk. The song isn’t a dance banger, though, but rather an evocative piano-led piece… until the very end, that is.
Kehlani — “Out The Window”
Kehlani is having some of the biggest success of her career right now, as “Folded” just became her first ever top-ten song on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. She celebrated the feat with a new song, “Out The Window,” which boasts supreme late-’90s R&B vibes as she thinks about getting back with an old flame.
Hayley Williams — “Showbiz”
When Williams released Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party, the solo project had 17 tracks, which is already a lot. Since then, though, she has continued adding to it again and again. She made the album even longer last week with the addition of the lively pop-rocker “Showbiz.”
Lil Baby — “Try To Love”
After new music earlier this year, Baby has been quiet for the past few months. He broke his silence last week, though, with “Try To Love.” The track sees his contemplating his romantic life with lines like, “Thought I found in love in Atlanta / Until she went ghost like a phantom / I don’t know why I try to love.”
Gorillaz — “The God Of Lying” Feat. Idles
Gorillaz have long been collaborative but they’ve really ramped that up in recent years. The same is true with their upcoming album The Mountain, which includes a good handful of guests. Among them are Idles, with Joe Talbot delivering a dub-style vocal on “The God Of Lying.”
Fred Again.., Sammy Virji, and Reggie — “Talk Of The Town”
Fred is the busiest person in music right now, with his nonstop stream of new music and global performances as part of his latest USB rollout. He delivered once again last week with “Talk Of The Town,” a collab with Sammy Virji and Reggie that Fred says came together in less than a half hour.
Khruangbin — “White Gloves ii”
In November 2015, Khruangbin released their debut album, The Universe Smiles Upon You. A decade later, they’ve taken the project for another spin, but releasing a new version of it but with every song re-imagined and re-recorded. Among the highlights is the very chill “White Gloves ii.”
Ice Spice — “Pretty Privilege”
Ice is on the comeback trail and she forged ahead last week with “Pretty Privilege.” On the track, she seems to be pretty directly going after somebody she perceives as an imitator, rapping, “Poser, she hear my song and copy everything I say / Like, what the f*ck? These b*tches dirt, just be yourself, this sh*t could work.”
Laufey — “Santa Claus Is Comin’ To Town”
Over the past few years, Laufey has made it an annual tradition to contribute to the contemporary Christmas song canon by dropping a new holiday tune. This year’s contribution is a rendition of “Santa Claus Is Comin’ To Town,” which Laufey delivers in a jaunty vocal jazz style that delightfully festive.
Coco Jones — “Skip My House”
Jones is also in the holiday spirit, but she puts a different sort of spin on traditional holiday song topics. On “Skip My House,” she has a message for Santa: He doesn’t need to go to her house this year, not because she’s been bad, but because she’s grateful to have already been blessed with everything she needs.
