PinkPantheress And JT Get Cabin Fever In Their Halloween-Themed ‘Noises’ Video

PinkPantheress gets into the spooky season with her Halloween-themed video for “Noises” featuring JT, from PP’s Fancy Some More? remix album. In the video, which alternates between haunting color and bone-chilling and black-and-white, the two stars hole up in their house on a dark and stormy night, while being stalked by shadowy figures and pelted by poltergeists.

Fancy Some More? is an updated version of Pinkpantheress’ debut, Fancy That, with remixes from a litany of creators in dance, hip-hop, and more. In a press release about Fancy Some More?, PinkPantheress said of the remix project, “With this remix project, Fancy Some More?, I wanted to explore how the songs can live in different worlds while still holding onto the emotion of the original. Hearing other artists reimagine it has been so inspiring. Each remix brings a new energy and texture, while still keeping the heart of the track intact. It’s been so exciting to see ‘Fancy That’ take on these new, international lives & global perspectives.”

PinkPantheress is currently on her North American tour, An Evening With PinkPantheress, with appearances at Coachella and Primavera Sound planned in 2026.

Puerto Rican rapper/singer Young Miko has been on the up-and-up lately. After releasing her debut album Att. last year, Miko just finished a run of shows supporting Billie Eilish on the Hit Me Hard And Soft tour. Rosalía Partners With Björk And Yves Tumor For Her Spectacular New ‘Berghain’ Video

Last week, Rosalía had a big outdoor stunt in Spain to announce her new album, Lux. No new music came with that news, though, but now, we have our first listen of the album: Today (October 27), Rosalía shared “Berghain.”

The song is a collaboration with Björk and Yves Tumor. A press release describes it as “the grand orchestral centerpiece of Lux‘s second movement” and “an operatic journey across languages and emotion” (the song is sung in German, Spanish, and English). There’s also a video and like the initial album announce, it’s a spectacle (directed by Nicolás Méndez).

A press release previously said of the project, “The album traces a widescreen emotional arc of feminine mystique, transformation, and transcendence — moving between intimacy and operatic scale to create a radiant world where sound, language, and culture fuse as one.”

Oneohtrix Point Never Teases His New Album With The Atmospheric ‘Measuring Ruins’

Taking a break from his work on movies like Marty Supreme, Daniel Lopatin has a new Oneohtrix Point Never album, Tranquilizer, on the way.

He shared three new songs when he announced it last week. Now, there’s another new one, “Measuring Ruins.” Like the songs the preceded it, it’s an atmospheric and layered sound collage.

Product pages for the album include the description, “Tranquilizer conjures a sonic hallucination: ambient calm twisting into digital chaos; mundane textures giving way to emotional overload. It’s a record shaped by obscurity and obsolescence. Real and unreal blur. Samples melt into static. A door creaks open inside a dream.” A press release also says the project was “sparked by Lopatin’s discovery that a vast archive of 90s sample CDs had vanished from the Internet Archive, a moment that left Lopatin creatively charged.”

Listen to “Measuring Ruins” above. Find the Tranquilizer cover art and tracklist below, along with OPN’s upcoming tour dates.

Radiohead’s ‘Let Down’ Is A Viral Hit, But Thom Yorke ‘Fought Tooth And Nail’ For It To Be Cut From ‘OK Computer’

Thom Yorke Radiohead The Smile 2022
Getty Image

Earlier this year, Radiohead’sLet Down,” an OK Computer promotional single in 1997, went viral and thus made its debut on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, making it just the band’s fourth song to ever make the ranks and their first in nearly two decades. The band’s Thom Yorke is pretty surprised by this, especially considering he really, really didn’t want the song to even be on the album.

In an interview with The Sunday Times, he said, “I find that especially bizarre, because I fought tooth and nail for it not to be on the record, but Ed [O’Brien] was, like, ‘If it’s not, I’m leaving.’” O’Brien called the song the “emotional heart” of the album but admitted, “Still, I was astonished. So I told my kids, who are 18 and 21, and they said, ‘What do you expect? Teenagers are depressed. It’s depressing music!’”

Elsewhere in the chat, in light of their 2017 performance in Tel Aviv, they were asked if they’d perform in Israel again given current goings-on and Yorke said, “Absolutely not. I wouldn’t want to be 5,000 miles anywhere near the Netanyahu regime but Jonny [Greenwood] has roots there. So I get it.” Greenwood added, “I would also politely disagree with Thom. I would argue that the government is more likely to use a boycott and say, ‘Everyone hates us — we should do exactly what we want,’ which is far more dangerous.”

Hotels We Love: Vinyl Nights And Iconic Artists Makes Resorts World Las Vegas Shine

Hotel Piece_Editorial Images_1024x450
Resorts World Las Vegas/Uproxx

From the elevator to the suite, the chaos of Sin City fades. Suddenly, you are ensconced in Conrad luxury — soft carpets, floor-to-ceiling glass, modern furniture. At Resorts World Las Vegas, the magic trick is volume control — step into buzz when you want it, shut the door on it when you don’t.

Restaurants and speakeasy bars hum without shouting. The spa drops your pulse ten beats. And when it’s time to turn up, you’re a short glide to the theatre, Zouk nightclub, or the gaming floor.

The perfect balance of quiet luxury and Vegas chaos.

WHY IT’S AWESOME

Resorts World Las Vegas

There are three hotels in Resorts World, we stayed at the Conrad, and the suite offered wide living rooms and spa-style baths. It felt like a true retreat. But just downstairs food, shows, and nightlife were all waiting and highly curated. Our rhythm went from room to dinner to some music hit to partying and gaming. The setup allowed us to ¿Resorts World is also very much a music property.

We caught Janet Jackson at Resorts World Theatre and she was everything you’d ever hope. A goddess who had complete control of her voice, dancers, and crowd. She was also a lot more improvisational than I expected. Taking gifts from eager fans and discussing tracks and her career throughout the show in a way that felt refreshingly off the cuff.

On Fridays, the resort’s hidden bar, Here Kitty Kitty Vice Den, leans in with High Fidelity Fridays — a weekly, all-vinyl session nodding to Tokyo’s listening bars: soul, funk, jazz, hip-hop, R&B, and sleek electronica from 9 p.m.–1 a.m., with Japanese whisky and clever cocktails to match. It’s a sit-down where lean-in listen — a sweet counterpoint to the mega-club, ZOUK.

Although… we saw the icon T-Pain at ZOUK and wow… Mega clubs are mega for a reason — they can be wildly fun.

IN-HOUSE FOOD & DRINK

Jakob Layman

Brezza — Nicole Brisson’s coastal Italian hits the “light but satisfying” mark: think a clean crudo, a seasonal pasta with some bite, a simply grilled fish with lemon you actually taste. Service glides; the room feels celebratory without tipping into scene-y. Make sure to zero in on the handmade pastas (particularly stuffed pastas), and thought there.is a great win

Stubborn Seed — Jeremy Ford’s Vegas outpost is precision with personality — textures, acids, and plates that feel engineered to surprise but still read as dinner (not homework). Book when you’re in the mood to be delighted. We absolutely loved the cocktail program here (a trend across the property) and the steaks. Also, and I’m sure I’m not the first writer to say this, but the Cacio e Pepe cheesy puffs will linger in my memory for quite some time.

Here Kitty Kitty Vice Den — Tucked inside Famous Foods and hidden in plain sight, the speakeasy is mood lighting, low chatter, and bartender-driven riffs. On High Fidelity Fridays, the room turns into a proper listen — we’re talking selectors, not background DJs.

AMENITIES

Resorts World Las Vegas
  • Seven-pool deck over 5+ acres; the Athena Infinity Ultra Pool is adults-only and unreasonably lounge-able (strip views, long swims, easy sun). Book a bungalow if you want to do the “never leave” version.

  • AWANA Spa — 27,000 sq. ft. of slow breathing: Fountain of Youth thermal circuit, crystal therapies, and theatrical Aufguss sessions. Day-pass pricing floats by day (media lists ~$120–$150 for a timed pass); on our visit, we paid $100 and stayed until our edges softened.

  • Nightlife on tap — Theatre residencies for the legends; Zouk Nightclub when you want the late set and laser haze.

ROOM TYPES

Resorts World Las Vegas

Three towers, three vibes; Conrad hits the sweet spot on space and design. Suites bring living rooms, work/dine tables, and big-glass views; premium rooms still carry that spa-bath/clean-line DNA.

If you’re chasing white-glove, Crockfords is the bump; value hunters can watch deals on Hilton.

BEST THINGS TO DO WITHIN A 15-MINUTE WALK

Resorts World Las Vegas

Keep it on Resorts World campus and sequence a perfect 24 hours: snack-crawl Famous Foods, slide through the hidden entrance to Here Kitty Kitty, catch a Theatre show, sleep like you mean it, hit Athena adults-only pool all morning, and go to the AWANA thermal circuit for the exhale.

If you need steps, the Strip footbridge and Fashion Show Mall are easy strikes from the resort. But when I do Vegas, I typically don’t stray too far from home base.

BED GAME

Resorts World Las Vegas

Firm-meets-forgiving mattress, blackout blinds that actually work, cold A/C without the roar. The pillows varied in firmness so you could find the winner for you. Certainly, nothing lacking in this regard.

Rating: 9/10

SEXINESS RATING

Resorts World Las Vegas

Sun-oiled afternoons at Athena; low-light cocktails and vinyl crackle at Here Kitty Kitty; spa circuits whenever you want to disappear together. That triangle is impeccable.

Rating: 9/10

VIEWS & PICS SPOTS

Resorts World Las Vegas

Blue hour from your Conrad window (Strip reflected in the glass), the infinity edge at Athena with skyline beyond, and the neon-on-velvet glow inside Here Kitty Kitty before the needle drops are all very photogenic. The infinity pool is stunning… though its current view leads out to a construction project.

BOTTOM LINE

Resorts World Las Vegas

Resorts World lets you tune Vegas: real rest when you need it, highly stylized food when you want it, and music options that range from arena-scale throwbacks to a speakeasy listening session where the cocktail list matches the turntable.

RATES

Conrad rooms often start in the low-$100s mid-week (lower on deal nights), with suites scaling accordingly. Our suite was only around $300/ night.

Whether we’re talking about the Alien Earth-esque ballerina sneaker from Nike and womenswear brand KNWLS, the psychedelic Grateful Dead Air Max 90s, or Yohji Yamamoto’s latest Adidas shake-up, one thing is for certain, this is hands down one of the most unique weeks in the 2025 sneaker year.

We’ll take it! The autumn sneaker season is proving to be this year’s most interesting, and we love it. Something needs to save 2025 right? Here are this week’s best sneaker drops and where to find them.

KNWLS x Nike Women’s Air Max Muse Elemental Pink

Nike has teamed up with the gritty South London based women’s wear brand KNWLS for a hyper feminine take on the Air Max Muse. One part ballerina slipper, one part sneaker, this new take on the Muse features corset lacing, a full-grain leather upper, and TPU accents.

It’s easily one of the most futuristic pieces of footwear Nike has released all year, and for that alone, we love it.

The KNWLS x Nike Women’s Air Max Muse Elemental Pink is out now for a retail price of $210. Pick up a pair via the Nike SNKRS app or aftermarket sites like GOAT.

Grateful Dead x Oregon x Nike Air Max 90

Nike

Price: $145

Nike and Grateful Dead have a history of close collaboration and a great track record of designs, so anytime the two entities link up, we’re thrilled to see what they’ve cooked up. This latest collaboration sees the two link up with the University of Oregon, a school known for its deep roots in the ‘60s counter culture.

The design, which is built on an Air Max 90, nods to the Grateful Dead’s 1990 show at the University’s Autzen Stadium.

The sneaker is dressed up in a moody deep black colorway with contrasting white stitch work.
