The fifth season of You is on the way, set to premiere on April 24. A new trailer for the season is coming out today, but before that, yesterday (March 9), Netflix recruited Cardi B to tease it.
In a video, Cardi says:
“Hello, you. I got some exciting news to tell you! So guess what? The trailer of You is coming out tomorrow, and when I tell you… girl, I am shook. I just saw it… hmm, I’ma be messy. Let me give you a little ‘heh heh heh’ about it: Joe got some money! He got a girl with money, chile. I cannot wait. And it’s like, they got a little, cute surprise. I cannot wait for you guys to see the trailer, y’all gonna gag. Got me gagging! Gagging! See you tomorrow!”
Of course, Cardi has some history with the show. Back in 2021, star Penn Badgley expressed admiration for Cardi, which excited the rapper. Then, the two set their social media profile images to be photos of each other. Then, in 2023, Cardi celebrated the release of a new season by revisiting the era and once again giving Badgley the coveted real estate that is her profile pic.
A highlight of Sabrina Carpenter’s Short N’ Sweet Tour is the “Espresso” singer “arresting” someone in the crowd for being too hot. Usually, it’s a random fan plucked from the crowd, but the honor occasionally goes to a celebrity, like Millie Bobby Brown (sorry, Millie Bonnie Brown), Marcello Hernandez as his SNL character Domingo, and Jack Antonoff and Margaret Qualley.
During Sunday’s show at the O2 Arena in London, the fuzzy pink handcuffs were presented to Salma Hayek.
“Oh my goodness. Who is this woman in the front?” Carpenter said with mock-surprise when she spotted Hayek. “I need some of that. For real. Wow, you are so gorgeous.” She continued, “It’s crazy ’cause I just met you, but I’m already in love with you, and I feel like we’re kind of destined. I’m getting hot because you’re there.” That’s when Carpenter’s long dressed “fell off” and turned into a mini-skirt, complete with Union Jack boots. “You see what you do to me, Salma,” Carpenter added before performing fan-favorite track “Juno.”
You can watch the video of Carpenter “arresting” Hayek here.
The Short N’ Sweet Tour continues throughout the year with “even sweeter” dates, including a Halloween show at New York City’s Madison Square Garden.
Lil Nas X has been teasing Dreamboy, a new album, for a little while now. This week is set to a be a big one in the Dreamboy universe, as Lil Nas X is bookending the week with fresh drops.
On Friday, March 14, he’s releasing a new song called “Hotbox.” Before that, today (March 10), he has shared “Dreamboy.” The track opens with the rapper teasing a new ascent, rapping, “Good evening everybody / I would like for you to grab a glass of wine / And let me talk to you for a minute / Look / I was scared then, ain’t scared now / Weren’t ready then, but I’m ready now / Yeah, I’m on the way, yeah, I’m on the rise / On the way, yeah, I’m on the rise.”
“I just want to f*ckin’ have fun with this sh*t. I don’t even give a f*ck about all the other sh*t. Of course I want to, like, be No. 1 all the time, I want every song to go up, and I want you to go crazy. But it’s like, at the same time, I want to f*ckin’ have fun. I want to go and live life, I just want to make music. I don’t want to have to do crazy sh*t all the time. I want to make music, I want to f*ckin’ have fun, I want to live.”
According to TMZ, you could own three never heard before verses from Tupac for a mere $250,000. Moments In Time is currently offering one hardcore collector access to a piece of the hip-hop heavy weight’s discography pre-Death Row Records.
The description of the online listing reads: “In late 1990/early 1991 Tupac composed and recorded an unreleased album for a group called Jesse and the Kidz. It was never released due to the tragic death of one of the band members. Not only are the lyrics totally unknown–the recordings of 3 of the album’s songs with Tupac in the lead are as well.”
On paper, the songs (“Leave Us Kidz Alone,” “Streetz Got Ya Babies,” and “Bedtime Storiez”) appear to be rather youthful compared to his more revered works. Still, this hip-hop artifact is sure to gain traction.
As with most things, there is one small catch. In the fine print of Moments In Time’s posting, the times (lyrics and audio) are “available only for private sale.”
Yesterday (March 8), that historic milestone came full circle when the legendary musician Lauryn Hill brought Doechii out for a surprise duet during Jazz In the Gardens 2025 (viewable here).
As Miss Hill turned to the Miami crowd she demanded that give a warm welcome to Doechii. As Doechii made her onto the Hard Rock Stadium stage, she and Hill immediately jumped into a performance of “Doo Wop (That Thing).”
Attendees and users online were equally awe-struck by the iconic moment–but none more so than Doechii. Over on X (formerly Twitter), Doechii sang Hill’s praises.
“Thank you Miss Lauryn Hill,” she wrote. “Thank you. My heart is so full. She is my hero. This is the greatest honor hip hop could give me. Praise God … my entire body is vibrating with joy right now. I’ll never forget this day! EVER!”
In a separate post Doechii wrote: “I never been so nervous in my life she is a QUEEN.”
Considering Cardi B handed Doechii her record-setting Grammy and Lauryn Hill has gifted her proverbial flowers, maybe the industry plant narrative will finally be put to bed.
Last month, Bieber brushed off the reports uploading a video (viewable here) smoking what appeared to be a marijuana joint. Yesterday (March 8), he dialed things up with a cryptic message on Instagram.
In the message (captured by TMZ), Bieber graciously reminded users he has the right to privacy despite their desire for him to speak out.
“We have nothing to prove today just the gift of life today to accept and receive,” read the post. “Nothing is owed to us, and we don’t owe anyone anything.”
The upload was soundtracked by the Stevie Wonder song, “Sir Duke.”
Last month, a representative for the musician shut down the viral rumor in a statement shared with the outlet. “[It’s] exhausting and pitiful,” said the rep. “That despite the obvious truth, people are committed to keeping negative, salacious, harmful narratives alive.”
Now that Bieber is back in the studio, it is probable that he will put an end to the speculation with a new song–or not because as he said he has “nothing to prove.”
As a recording artist, songwriter, and actress, Lady Gaga’s professional career revolves around the creative use of words. Based on stacked trophy closet (which include multiple Grammys and an Academy Award), some would say “The Beast” singer is quite good at it.
So, during her Saturday Night Live appearance Lady Gaga delivered a lecture on popular jargon. In the sketch, No More Slay, Lady Gaga and Bowen Yang hilariously encouraged viewers to broaden their vocabulary.
As Gaga and Yang chat with Ego Nwodim, Sarah Sherman, Ashley Padill, and Andrew Dismukes they expressed their frustration with the overuse of AAVE (African American Vernacular English) terms, queer lingo, and other slang to shorten casual conversation.
In Gaga and Yang’s “slay,” “it’s giving,” and more all have earned a long rest. To stress their case they performed a silly song to plead their case.
“We can’t just repeat one word / When there’s so many more to use / So we’ve made a big decision / For all of us and you / No more slay / We know it sounds impossible / But there’s other words to say,” sang the duo.
Sadly, Gaga and Yang’s will continue on as the video’s comment section on YouTube is now flooded with the phrases they so desperately wanted to eradicate.

Although Joker: Folie a Deux is no longer in theaters, it has been burned into many of the minds of DC fans. For most, including organizers of the Golden Raspberry Awards (better known as the Razzies) this is not a good thing.
So, yesterday (March 8), Lady Gaga used her Saturday Night Live</em> monologue to address the pushback as well as her Razzie Award win with a few hilarious jokes.
“I’m an actor now,” she exclaimed. “And I’ve been very diligent about selecting films that would showcase my craft as a serious actor–films such as ‘Joker 2.’ Apparently, people thought it was awesome.”
She continued: “Joaquin [Phoenix] and I even got nominated for a Razzie which is an award for the worst films of the year. So, we won for worst onscreen duo. But, jokes on them. I love winning things. And my Razzie brings me one step closer to an EGORT. It’s like an EGOT, but it’s hurtful.”
Following its theatrical release, Lady Gaga responded to criticism of the feature. With any luck, this will be her last time addressing the blip in her filmography.
During the opening of her monologue, Lady Gaga also comedically clapped by at ageist remarks surrounding her return to pop music. “Last time I hosted SNL I was 27,” she said. “I’m 38 now, which is scientifically the best age for a female pop star to be. Honestly though, most pop stars are over 40. Chappell Roan is 58, Charli xcx is 75… Tate McRae is my biological grandmother.”

Yesterday (March 8), Lady Gaga fulfilled her Saturday Night Live hosting and musical guest responsibilities. While the late night show’s episode has wrapped, this morning fans are still talking about her appearance.
The area generating the most conversation online is Lady Gaga’s two performances. For her first set, Lady Gaga delivered a spellbinding rendition of “Abracadabra.” For her second performance (of “Killah”), Lady Gaga kept that high-energy spectacle going.
On Lady Gaga’s latest studio album, Mayhem, the multiple Grammy Award-winner shuffles between her signature electronic and pop sonics. However, on “Killah,” Lady Gaga fully immersed herself into the world of pop-punk and her SNL performing of the song played into that.
While working her way across SNL‘s backstage alongside dancers, Lady Gaga makes the entirety of the show her set. From elaborate floor work to quick camera switches, Lady Gaga’s love for the dramatics is the central focus. But by the time Lady Gaga meets up with her band, the instrumentation is star. With a brief electrifying solo by Gaga’s bassist and an intense duet between her and her drummer, Lady Gaga went from a pop queen to a rock star.
Lady Gaga’s explored pop, electronic, and jazz. So, why not rock?

The first time I fell in love with Bali was watching Julia Roberts find herself in Eat Pray Love. The second was when I spent seven magical days at AYANA Bali, the country’s largest resort, spanning 90 lush hectares overlooking the Jimbaran Sea.
AYANA Bali is the country’s largest “integrated” resort, meaning it’s comprised of four distinctive hotels and 90 lush hectares (222+ acres), with AYANA Segura being the newest edition. With a complimentary resort trolley, it’s quick and easy to get around the 30 on-site dining options, 14 pools and access to their 18-hole miniature golf course. And that isn’t half of this beach vacation.
The resort also champions luxury eco-tourism, particularly with the Tevana Garden, a six-hectare sanctuary showcasing over 80 species of tropical flora through its various walking paths, creating an immersive, sensory nature experience.
WHY IT’S AWESOME:
AYANA BALI
Most of our sun-filled days were spent at the adults-only Ocean Beach Pool, the most secluded infinity pool on-site. But with 14 pools across the resort, there’s always a new place to unwind. Other favorites include LUNA Rooftop Bar and RIMBA’s Upper Pool.
My top two must-do experiences at AYANA Bali:
AYANA Farm Tour & Farm-to-Bar Workshop:
AYANA Farm Tour was an unexpected highlight. We spent an hour at the Farm-to-Bar workshop learning about AYANA’s commitment to sustainability. Guests get hands-on with fresh produce before crafting custom cocktails or mocktails. It’s a unique way to learn about AYANA’s commitment to sustainability.
Hotel aside, I was pleasantly surprised by the overall prices in Bali, including the resort, especially thinking prices were like a luxury Maldives vacation.
IN-HOUSE FOOD + DRINK:
JAYME LAMM
With 30 dining options, there’s something for every craving. The perfect evening looked like this:
Omakase Experience at Honzen to enjoy delicious Japanese cuisine inside a secluded retreat, where my husband and I devoured some of the freshest fish along where Chef Takumi Kimura expertly curates a journey through fresh, flavorful Japanese cuisine while adding a touch of humor throughout.
Then we headed to DAVA Steak & Seafood, our go-to for espresso martinis and live music in a more intimate setting. It was also one of the few spots that felt like we were avoiding the crowds from the large resort (don’t skip the Hamachi Crudo for a flavorful appetizer).
Another favorite restaurant was Scusa, offering Mediterranean cuisine not to be outdone by the fantastic ambiance. Check with the concierge for a night they have LIVE music and ask for a table outside.
AMENITIES:
JAYME LAMM

ROOM TYPES:
AYANA Bali
AYANA Bali is comprised of four luxury hotels in one serene sanctuary, all with different room categories. Choose from private villas or opt for family-friendly rooms.
THE BEST THING TO DO WITHIN A 15 MINUTE WALK:
AYANA BALI
Since the Estate is so sprawling, a 15-minute walk will most definitely keep you on the hotel grounds. I highly recommend a visit to AYANA Spa to get a Balinese traditional massage and ask for Eka. Her experienced hands were one of the best things to touch me all week (don’t tell my husband lol). It was such a good massage; this was the first time I wasn’t worrying about my spray tan rubbing off during the massage. This was top five one of the best massages of my life and it was only around $150 USD, which is an insanely good price for a luxury resort.
Pro tip: book your massage towards the end of your beach vacation so your spray tan lasts the entire trip. Plus, the massage towards the end of your trip will help prepare you for the 30-hour trek back home.
THE BEST THING TO EAT/DRINK WITHIN A $20 CAB RIDE:
AFTER ROCK
Skip the cab and head to After Rock, a two-story nightlife hotspot featuring six distinct areas, a dance floor, and live entertainment until 3 AM on weekends. Perfect for night owls looking for an upscale, lively scene.
BED GAME:
AYANA Bali
After a 30-hour trek to get to Bali, AYANA Segara’s plush beds were pure bliss.
Rating: 9/10
SEXINESS RATING:
AYANA BALI
Bali is known for their breathtaking sunsets, which can be seen pretty much anywhere within AYANA Bali. That alone gets a near 10 sexiness rating, but this was a more family-friendly resort than we are used to, hence the minor two-point deduction. It didn’t take us long to find our groove for the perfect day and night.
Rating: 8/10
THE VIEWS & PICS SPOTS:
JAYME LAMM
The Ocean Beach Pool provided an iconic overhead shot, where tourists like me lined up for during certain hours to capture the perfect Instagram post. You’ll need one-person up top taking the photo, while you lounge in the shallow infinity pool.
BEST SEASON TO VISIT:
September and October will likely give you the best weather in Bali, but you’ll usually get the best rates during April and May months.
IF I HAD TO COMPLAIN ABOUT ONE THING:
This may come as a shocker, but I recommend doing your research ahead of time. I know that seems counterintuitive for a relaxing beach vacation, but there is almost too much to do. It would be a shame to miss one of the best experiences simply because you didn’t know it existed, like the SAKA Museum. You can download their hotel app and start planning your perfect Bali itinerary.
BOOK HERE:
Book your perfect Bali vacation directly on their website for the best rates and hotel perks.
