Beyoncé and Levi’s are in cahoots. The “Levii’s Jeans” singer and the denim purveyors first teamed up for a 2024 ad, in which Beyoncé stripped down to her underwear in a re-make of a classic Levi’s commercial. Now, they’re at it again.
Yesterday (February 24), Levi’s dropped a new Beyoncé-starring ad. In it, a denim-clad Beyoncé rolls up to a bar’s pool table, where she challenges a stern-looking cowboy to a game, which Beyoncé quickly wins. Of course, there are plenty of shots Beyoncé showing off what a pair of Levi’s looks like on her.
Speaking of videos featuring Beyoncé, fans have long been waiting for the promised sequel to her and Lady Gaga’s iconic “Telephone” video from 2010. Well, Gaga addressed that recently, saying that she does intend to release the video’s continuation, although she’s not yet sure when. She also smiled and said “maybe” when asked if Beyoncé will be in the new one.
Is Sabrina Carpenter about to praise Kier? Not quite. On Monday (February 24), the “Espresso” singer shared a 10-second video in an Instagram Story showing her getting into an elevator. As Carpenter turns to face the viewer, the camera zooms in on her face, not unlike the “severed” effect from the Emmy-winning Apple TV+ series Severance to signify the transition from the outside world to the cold, melon bar-party workplace of Lumon.
Unfortunately, Carpenter isn’t about to participate in a “Music Dance Experience.” The video she shared is a promo for Prada Beauty; she was announced as a ambassador for the brand last year, and even wore Prada lipstick in the “Taste” music video. But a lot of people immediately thought of Severance when they saw her getting into that elevator.
“why’d i think she was going to guest star on severance i’m crying,” one fan on X wrote. Another added, “scrolled too fast on sabrina carpenter’s instagram story and thought she was entering the severance elevator or something.”
Here’s more:
Why it look like she’s about to start working at Lumon?? (via)

50 Cent seems to want to put his “Teflon 50” nickname to the test. Today (February 24), the mogul has paused his comedic online commentary to address a potential court filing.
Over on Instagram, 50 Cent responded to Joe Budden’s threat of legal action following a week-long online troll fest. “So that’s the plan, you gonna sue me Joe,” wrote 50. “Hahaha I think you are mistaken me for someone else. I’m a get face to face with you, so you can tell me about the therapy I need.”
Initially, 50 Cent and Joe Budden’s digital spat was limited to a differing opinion on various pop culture topics. However, it quickly escalated. Eventually, 50 poked fun at accusations Budden was arrested for public lewdness. Budden clapped back suggesting 50 Cent speak with a licensed professional.
But by the latest episode of the Joe Budden Podcast, Joe appears to have had enough of the virtual tension. “50 been posting me for seven days in a row,” he said. “Anytime one of them n****s with f*cking 30 million, 50 million followers post me, good or bad, I get paid. If I have a problem with it, we getting lawyers involved.”
He continued by slamming the AI-generated images recently posted by 50. “What you want me to do? Cuz that’s illegal,” he said. “You can’t take all these AI pics …that’s what shorty going to court for. You can’t do that.”
The shorty Joe appears to be referencing is YouTuber Milagro Gramz, who is being sued by Megan Thee Stallion for promotion of an altered sexual depiction, cyberstalking, intentional infliction of emotional distress and false light invasion of privacy.
50 Cent appears to have removed all AI-generated images of Joe Budden from his Instagram page.
Cardi B’s fight for her funds is finally over. Back in January 2022, the “Bongos” rapper won her libel lawsuit against YouTuber commentator Tasha K (real name Latasha Kebe).
However, since the verdict Kebe appears to have done little to make a dent in the $4 million judgment. But Kebe’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy ruling will put an end to that. According to Rolling Stone, today (February 24) Cardi B and Tasha K have agreed on a repayment plan regarding the defamation judgment, but there is a catch.
Cardi’s $3.9 million judgment has been split into time payment timelines. For the next five years, Kebe is only responsible for knocking out $1.178 million. As for the repayment plan’s structure is concerned, Kebe will be responsible for making quarterly payments to Cardi B. Within the first year, Kebe is required to pay Cardi $176,532. Gradually the minimum expected amount will be increased. So by the last year, Kebe’s tab will round out to $318,653.
Following the five-year mark, Tasha K will then be responsible for the remaining judgment balance. In addition to the payment plan, Kebe has reportedly signed a non-disparagement clause, in which Cardi nor any of her family members can be mentioned by Kebe.
Cardi B’s lawyer Lisa Moore issued a statement to the outlet. “Today marks the end of a multi-year-long chapter of lies, deception, and fraudulent conveyance on the part of Tasha K, her husband, and their entities,” said Moore. “We are thrilled to put in place such an incredibly unprecedented and protective plan for Cardi. I assume you will see the debtor and her swill counsel selling this as a win.”
She continued: “Trust me, for all of the reasons in the plan we insisted on to protect our client, that is not the case. We don’t believe the false tears, and we protect against them.”
Netflix‘s commitment to making spy shows appeal to Gen Z is best illustrated by The Night Agent and The Recruit as twin centerpieces. No doubt about it, both shows are fueled by espionage, action, and undeniable appeal from the main cast. Yet whereas The Night Agent (starring Gabriel Basso) adopts a mostly dramatic tone (even in the face of silly details and red herrings), The Recruit revels its funnier moments. Noah Centineo is that guy, too.
Both shows happened to return for second seasons in January, so it made perfect sense for Netflix to ^^^ host a joint red carpet event, where Basso and Centineo posed together. As a result of these non-coincidences, it’s natural to wonder if FBI Night Actioner Peter Sutherland (Basso) and CIA lawyer Owen Hendricks (Centineo) will ever appear together on TV screens.
Will There Be A The Night Agent And The Recruit Crossover?
Maybe? No plans exist right now for this to happen, though.
While speaking with Collider about The Recruit‘s second season, Centineo noted that the subject of a crossover has “absolutely” come up between himself and Basso but only “in jest.” Centineo’s full statement is as follows: “We have. Absolutely. We’ve talked about trying to get the two shows together, but it’s really just in jest. I mean, I would love to. I think he would love to. We’ll find something.”
So there you have it. Both dudes are open to the possibility, but the decision sits with Netflix. Meanwhile, The Night Agent‘s third season has already been filming in Istanbul, and Centineo says he is hanging tight to find out about The Recruit renewal. Centineo also conceded to Collider that Basso is “ranked higher” than he is in the ass-kicking TV department:
“[Laughs] There’s no competition—Gabriel Basso’s ranked higher, that’s for sure. He’s also such a dope dude. I got the chance to meet him recently, and no one deserves it more. The Night Agent’s a phenomenal show. The guy works his ass off. I don’t really do all my own stunts in the same way that he does. This guy’s a beast. He wants the audience to feel the realism. But there’s a healthy competition. It’s healthy. It’s great. I support him.”
The Night Agent and The Recruit are both currently streaming two full seasons on Netflix.
Lefty Gunplay’s star is on the rise thanks to his appearance on Kendrick Lamar’s GNX track “TV Off.” However, a recent run-in with the law could put a temporary halt on his career advancement.
According to public records, yesterday (February 23) Lefty Gunplay (real name Franklin Scott Holladay) was arrested in El Paso Texas.
Details surrounding the circumstances of his detained are not yet known. But El Paso’s jail records list Lefty Gunplay was arrested on three charges; not wearing a seat belt, possessing a prohibited item in a correctional facility and possession of a controlled substance.
As of today (February 24), Lefty Gunplay has been released after posting bond. For the not wearing a seat belt charge, Lefty paid the $184 fee in cash. For the possessing a prohibited item in a correctional facility and possession of a controlled substance, Lefty secured a $10,000 and $25,000 bond disposition.
At this time, the stipulations of Lefty Gunplay’s bond has not yet been uploaded into the system. Also, a court date for the charges was not set.
Although Lefty Gunplay did not release a statement regarding his brief incarceration, many of the rapper’s friends took to Instagram with message begging for his release. Their pleas were answered.
Netflix recently joined the Neo-Western game with American Primeval and Territory to streaming success, but nobody can beat Taylor Sheridan at that same game. Yellowstone concluded last fall, but 1923 is now streaming a new season, to be followed later this year by The Madison.
Both of those latter shows sit firmly in the Yellowstone saga with a Beth and Rip spin off in the works, but if you haven’t yet caught the final episodes of the flagship series, you’ll be wanting to catch up before watching more.
When Does Yellowstone Season 5, Part 2 Stream On Peacock?
March 16, 2025. That’s when the final six Yellowstone episodes will stream to join the previous eight eps of the fifth season. Then viewers can stream the entire series on Peacock if they so desire, but you won’t ever catch Kevin Costner in the act. He wasn’t thrilled with Taylor Sheridan writing John Dutton out of the show (we will avoid spoilers here), and Costner informed Sirius XM not only that he “didn’t see it,” but he has no plans “to rush to go see it.”
If you are still hankering for more of Sheridan’s writing after finishing the season, Landman and the most recent Lioness and Tulsa King seasons were all crowd pleasers. Naturally, there will be much more from the Paramount+ king to come, too.
James Gunn has so many balls in the air, I wonder if he has time to sleep. The Suicide Squad director is in the midst of getting the DCU off the ground, first with the animated Creature Commando series (that has been renewed for a second season) and later this year with Superman (and Krypton) bounding over skyscrapers and into theaters. In the meantime, Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow is currently in production, but what of Peacemaker?
The John Cena-starring series is being grandfathered into the DCU, sort of. The first season isn’t canon, but the second season will land in the DCU fold. Additionally, Frank Grillo will reprise his Creature Commandos character, Rick Flag, Sr., this time in live action with the Grillo hair and everything. Adding Frank Grillo to an existing show does generally go well, so of course people want to know when this will happen.
When Will Peacemaker Season 2 Stream On Max?
As Deadline confirms, the series “is still on track for August.” So get ready for John Cena’s ultra-violent vigilante to pop off with more TV-MA action while delivering the brand of humor that tells you exactly who’s on top of the scripts. That would be James Gunn, obviously, and he further told Deadline that he and follow DCU co-chief Peter Safran intended to make the Waller spin off series happen, but more Peacemaker came forth from Gunn’s mind first: “We were going to go with Waller before Peacemaker (Season 2), but I wrote Peacemaker quickly and were ready to go.”
Peacemaker‘s first season (starring Cena, Danielle Brooks, Jennifer Holland, Steve Agee, and Robert Patrick) is currently streaming on Max.
