Taco Bell manager called a ‘guardian angel’ after saving a choking baby

Natasha Long, a mother in Pennsylvania, is calling Taco Bell Manager Becky Arbaugh her “guardian angel” after she saved her 11-month-old son who stopped breathing. Long was out running some errands with her son when she pulled into a Taco Bell drive-thru in Richboro when she realized that something was wrong.

“I ran out of the car and ran around and opened the car door,” Long told ABC affiliate WPVI. “I pulled him out and he turned completely blue and was lifeless. At that point, I just completely blacked out. I didn’t know what to do.”

Arbaugh, who was busy working the lunch rush, heard Long call out for help. “I heard a scream, and then someone yelled out, ‘Call 911, the baby isn’t breathing!'” she told Good Morning America. Arbuagh wasted no time running to Long’s aid while one of her employees dialed 911.

“I threw my headset and ran outside to the baby. The mom was panicked. I told her to give him to me and I performed CPR,” Arbaugh recalled. “I was trying to calm her down and comfort her and reassure her that he will be fine.”

“The baby finally started to breathe. The ambulance came pretty quickly and then they took over,” Arbaugh said. “The EMT said I saved his life.”

Arbaugh, a mother of 2 boys and 2 girls, was well-versed in how to perform infant CPR and understood the importance of staying calm. “When my kids were little, my daughter had a similar incident, so I knew what she was feeling,” she told WPVI. “I knew if I kept her calm and I stayed calm, there was no thought in my mind that the baby wasn’t going to breathe again.”

Taco Bell’s employees are proud of Arbaugh’s heroic deed. “We are incredibly proud of Becky from the Taco Bell brand’s Richboro, PA, location for her heroic act earlier this week. We are getting in touch to express appreciation for her quick actions and kindness,” the company said in a statement to People.

Since the incident, the women have been in contact with each other and are friends on Facebook. Long has been sharing pictures and videos of her son with Arbaugh to remind her of the precious life she saved. Even though Arbaugh performed the ultimate good deed, saving a baby’s life, she doesn’t consider herself a hero—just another mom looking out for her own.

“I’m just a mom helping a mom. I didn’t do anything different from what anyone else should be doing,” Arbaugh told NBC. “I knew how that was, and I heard it, and I felt it instantly and I had to go and help her cause I knew it’s painful. You’re just so helpless as a mom when that happens.”

This incredible story out of Pennsylvania is a reminder for every one of the importance of learning CPR. You never know when—just like Arbaugh—you may find yourself in the position to save a life.

Sports? The Royal Family? Joe Rogan? 15 things people can’t believe adults take seriously.

When we take a look at humanity, there are countless things we take seriously, that may not matter in the grand scheme of things. Many of us also have a soft spot for ideas that aren’t exactly scientific.

No one is perfect, and it’s okay for us to take pleasure in being invested in some forms of inconsequential entertainment simply because they are fun. The trouble comes when people waste their lives and resources on ridiculous things that do more harm than good.

The key idea is that no one is immune from taking something seriously that others may think is a waste of time. But, to each their own or vive la différence as the French put it.

A Redditor who goes by the username Hogw33d asked the AskReddit forum, “What is something you can’t believe real grownup people take seriously?” Many people responded that they don’t understand how some people can invest so much time and energy into things they deem frivolous.

The list was a great way for some to vent but it also provides a solid skeptics guide to some of the pitfalls we may unwillingly fall into in life.

Here are 15 things people “can’t believe” that “real grownup people take seriously.”

1. Community theater

“This is niche but community theatre. The DRAMA among grown adults is insane, worse than when I was in high school. Like yall, we are singing and dancing and wearing silly costumes. It’s not that serious.” — MediocreVideo1893

2. MLMs (multi-level marketing)

“I just don’t understand how people keep falling for it. They always think that there’s a difference. It’s all the same pyramid scheme y’all.” — IsItTurkeyNeckorDick

“I think we should take them way more seriously. They can do massive damage to a person’s financial and mental health. We need to stop treating them as a cute thing that naive people get sucked into, and ban them for the scam they are.” — Hydro123456

3. Flat Earthers

“I think it actually started as a sort of debating society. Just for people to practice and become better at rhetoric. But, they actually convinced some people and now, this is what we have.” — Addicus

“There’s one of those apocryphal quotes that goes along the lines of, ‘Any group of people that get their laughs pretending to be idiots is bound to be taken over by actual idiots who think they’ve found good company.” — RilohKeen

4. Social media outrage

“Social media in general. Too many people believe every clickbait headline or buy into whatever trend is taking over. Feels like people can’t self soothe and need the validation or something, it’s just weird.” — Cynn13

“‘Outrage over Z’ ‘People slam Y’ And it’s only like a few people on Twitter or Reddit and they present it as some huge backlash or major issue lol.” — Sclubadubdub

“The political news channels do almost nothing other than this. They tell viewers the other party is outraged about something that you never find a real person outraged by and create culture wars that no one is actually fighting.” — Herbdontana

5. Reality TV

“It’s all fake, too. An acquaintance of mine works at a major studio. Those shows are all scripted and fake.” — SpaceMoneky3301967

6. Sports fans

“People take being a fan of a sport (or team) way too seriously, imo. I promise you don’t need to riot because ‘your team’ lost.” — AdmirableProgress743

“My husband works himself into such a state over something he can’t control and is, imo, of absolutely no consequence to his life. He’s toned it down because I told him the screaming and cursing terrorize me and our daughter. But he stews and mutters obscenities.” — Complex_Yam_5390

7. Scientology

“Might as well just say every religion. They’re all coocoo bonkers.” — JenniferC1714

8. Gossip

“Gossip in general. I live in a small town and it is maddening how people here are so serious about it. It’s not light fun chatting, it’s all SCANDAL and we need to take ACTION. I swear a lot of people’s problems would be immediately solved if they just stopped giving a sh*t what everyone else does (to an extent).” — Buffalopantry

9. Facebook

“My mom will literally call me up if I didn’t like a recent post of hers. There have been a few times where she asked why I didn’t like every photo she just posted. It’s maddening. I’ve also had periods of deactivating my fb only for my mom to guilt me into reactivating it.” — Zealousideal_Mix6771

10. Billionaire ‘geniuses’

“Elon Musk and other billionaire ‘geniuses.’ People are pretty freaking gullible.” — GladysSchwartz23

“Most average people don’t realize that being incredibly smart doesn’t automatically mean you are good at doing things like running a large company. They tend to assume people at the top must be there based on merit. In reality, there are some massively stupid people running huge companies, and there some brilliant people who are shoveling shit for a living.” — Captcha_Trampstamp

11. The royal family

“I have a news app on my phone and no matter how much I tweak my interest to avoid any gossip BS I still get “Breaking News! Some insignificant bullshit about the Royals”. It’s not news, it’s not interesting, stop reporting this utter drivel.” — Sclubadubdub

12. Religion

“The creator of the universe impregnated a virgin, only to deliberately kill the child 30 years later, to save people from…himself.” — Opteryx5

“I grew up figuring everyone was just roleplaying and was shocked to learn religion is taken seriously by many people. It was a real eye-opener for someone who grew up in a secular environment.” — Kilterboard_addict

13. Vaccine skeptics

“I work in medicine and am starting to get really worried about the vaccine skepticism. It used to be a little more rare, so I would counsel, they spout incorrect information, I tell give a little retort/response, and then move on because time is tight. But now it’s happening so often that I’m working way harder to persuade because I feel a strong obligation to fight all the bullshit info that has obviously taken hold.” — KellyNJames

14. Loud exhaust systems on cars

“As someone who lives next to traffic lights and can hear all y’all shi**y music and loud exhausts all day… I approve this message.” — Rainbow-Singbird

15. Joe Rogan

“The whole ‘I’m just an idiot don’t pay any attention to what I say’ schtick doesn’t really work anymore.” — FoucaultsPrudendum

“It was great when he had a guest that was in academia, like a physicist or something. I would skip over most of the comedy buddy circle jerks he would host. Then when COVID happened I had to stop entirely. He fully went off the deep end then. Still, he introduced me to Dan Carlin’s work, for which I am very grateful.” — Xczechir

Lost little girl mistakes Mariska Hargitay as a real police officer while filming SVU

There’s not much scarier for a parent or child than to temporarily lose sight of each other. Kids do all sorts of things that they may find funny that can give their parents a mini panic attack. Nearly every person has taken their turn hiding in a clothes rack at their local department store as a child, momentarily giving your parent a fright.

But sometimes it’s not just a quick break in visual contact. Sometimes parent and child find themselves separated for more than a few seconds while in public. That’s when panic sets in as both parties frantically search for the other. One mom and daughter found themselves in this very scary situation while at Anne Loftus Playground in New York City while Mariska Hargitay was filming an episode of Law & Order: SVU.

The little girl spotted Hargitay dressed as her character, Olivia Benson and assumed she was an actual police officer due to her badge. Instead of redirecting the little girl to resume filming, the seasoned actor halted production to try to help.

In an interview with People before the premier of the 25th season of the hit procedural series, Hargitay reveals, “We’ve been on a parallel journey,” she said. “There’s a thing: WWOBD, ‘What would Olivia Benson do?’ The fans would always talk about it, and one day it hit me. I also have those moments where I’ve sort of slipped into her. If there’s a crisis, I just take over and lead like that. Being strong and fearless. It’s sort of this perfect feminist story.”

Turns out that method is true. Fans captured the unscripted scene where the pretend detective helped a real missing little girl find her mom. You can watch the entire thing unfold below in still pictures from fans who watched the selfless moment. According to PIX11 News, Hargitay’s selfless act halted production for over 20 minutes, but ultimately the girl was reunited with her mom.

Mom films her 10-month-old helping with chores to show parents that babies ‘are capable’

It’s part of a parent’s job to help kids enjoy being kids while they can. At the same time, it’s extremely beneficial to teach them certain “adult” tasks while they’re still young. This can help them see everything from cleaning to budgeting as a fun, life-affirming activity, rather than a mandatory chore. Which research shows can, in turn, set them up for way more happiness and success once they do reach adulthood.

And that’s why mom and child development expert Sophie Zee is hosting a video of her ten-month-old helping with household chores like laundry and loading the dishwasher. It’s her way of reminding other parents just how capable their young children are.

In the video’s text overlay on her Zee wrote: “POV: you’re 10-months-old but your mom is trained in child development, so you already know about basic chores and associate them with playtime and fun, and you enjoy helping out and doing them.”

As we see her toddler’s little hands splashing water in a strainer and pressing buttons on the washing machine, it’s clear that he is just a supervised participant of each chore, getting a visceral experience of it all. At one point he even gets a little creative with a certain task—using a fork to open the dishwasher’s soap dispenser. Problem-solving skills: unlocked!

“Let your baby & kids watch/help with your daily chores. Even if it takes a bit longer or is a bit messier. It’s so important for their development and they enjoy it!” Zee’s video caption read.

@schoolpsych.mom Let your baby & kids watch/help with your daily chores. Even if it takes a bit longer or is a bit messier. It’s so important for their development and they enjoy it! #momsoftiktok #parentingtips #babylife #newmomtips #toddlermom ♬ Feel Good – Tundra Beats

Down in the comments, several other parents noted having the same positive experience with their old young kids.

One mom wrote, “My 9 month old loves watching/helping me clean especially when I load/unload the dishwasher! I love making the daily tasks around the house more fun for the two of us.”

Another wrote, “I did this with my 6 adult kiddies. They were helping from the time they were just a few weeks old.”

Others simply gave kudos to Zee for setting her child up for success.

“ECD teacher here too. Best to train them from young 🥰 love it,” one view wrote.

In an interview with Newsweek, Zee explained that she filmed her son doing chores to highlight “their intrinsic motivation to engage and feel part of the family unit,” which may go otherwise underutilized.

“Parents may not realize that children learn extensively by observing and imitating adults. They naturally want to mimic our actions, presenting a perfect opportunity to expose them to life’s responsibilities, including self-care and household tasks,” she said.

“Sometimes my 10-month-old son engages in various daily tasks and chores around our home. I made that video to demonstrate how even young children, like babies, are capable of participating in everyday activities.”

Still, she noted that forcing kids to participate is “counterproductive,” and suggested that parents instead gently invite them to “join in, observe, and gradually participate.” She also reiterated that while having them join in might make things a little messier at first, the long term effects are well worth it.

“This approach is more beneficial than expecting children to play independently or watch television while parents rush through tasks. Ultimately, embracing this inclusive approach benefits the entire family, offering immediate rewards and long-term positive habits for children’s development.”

The Heat Throttled The Bulls To Earn The 8-Seed In The Eastern Conference

tyler herro

For the second year in a row, the Miami Heat will enter the NBA playoffs as the 8-seed in the Eastern Conference. On Friday night, Miami played host to the Chicago Bulls in the final Play-In Tournament game in the East and put forth a dominant performance behind a near triple-double from Tyler Herro. As a result, they picked up a 112-91 win that sets up the latest postseason battle between the Heat and the Boston Celtics.

Both offenses spent large stretches of the first half stuck in the mud. After the Bulls went up 11-6 to start the game, Miami closed the first quarter on a 28-6 run. And while Chicago’s offense outside of DeMar DeRozan continued to struggle in the second quarter, the Jimmy Butler-less Heat only scored 13 points in the entire frame.

By the end of the first half, Miami took a 47-37 lead into the locker room. Despite shooting 17-for-44 from the field (38.6 percent), they were up double-digits due to the fact that only DeRozan scored more than six points for Chicago — as a team, the Bulls were 12-for-44 (27.3 percent), while DeRozan led all scores with 15 points. Jaime Jaquez Jr. led the way for Miami with 10 points, five rebounds, and four assists.

Out of the break, the Heat’s offense found a spark in Herro. The high-scoring guard scored 12 points in the frame and helped Miami opened up a 22-point lead, in part because the team was able to end the third quarter on a 19-6 run. It got to the point of inevitability very quickly in the fourth quarter, and with seven minutes left to go in the frame, Heat fans let it be known that they’re ready for another matchup with Boston.

Herro and Jaquez led the way for Miami — the former went for 24 points, 10 rebounds, and nine assists, while the latter put up 21 points, six rebounds, and six dimes. While Bam Adebayo had a relatively quiet night — 13 points, four rebounds, four assists, two blocks — Kevin Love was huge off the bench, going for 16 points and seven rebounds in only 12 minutes of work. As for Chicago, they managed to get a 22-point night out of DeRozan, while Nikola Vucevic pitched in 16 points, 14 rebounds, five assists, two steals, and a block.

Game 1 of Heat vs. Celtics will take place on Sunday at 1 p.m. EST on ABC. This will mark the third team in a row that Boston and Miami will meet up in the postseason, and last year, the Heat got the better of the Celtics in seven games in the Eastern Conference Finals. It seems unlikely that Butler will be able to go this time around, though, as he’s been ruled out several weeks with a knee injury.

Taylor Swift Can’t Forget A Tragic Love In Her ‘Fortnight’ Video, Which Also Has Some Fun Cameos

Last night, Taylor Swift treated fans to the official release of her new album The Tortured Poets Department, only to surprise everyone at 2 a.m. by dropping an additional fifteen songs.

After listeners managed to get some sleep and finish the record, Swift has now continued the rollout by dropping the era’s first music video for the “Fortnight” lead single.

The video opens with Swift in a hospital room and white dress as she goes to the mirror. She soon wipes at her face, revealing some face tattoos, giving a nod to her collab with Post Malone. Switching scenes, Swift then rocks a Victorian-style black dress while she and Malone work away on typewriters together.

Throughout the rest of the video’s run, the two play lovers in an up-and-down relationship, all while Swift is being studied. However, the fun doesn’t end there. Given the title of Swift’s album, she managed to get actors Ethan Hawke and Josh Charles from Dead Poets Society to have surprise cameos as the doctors.

“For me, this video turned out to be the perfect visual representation of this record and the stories I tell in it,” Swift shared on social media. “Post Malone blew me away on set as our tortured tragic hero and I’m so grateful to him for everything he put into this collaboration.”

Finally, along with the video, Swift revealed a medley of some recent life clips, from her cooking with Travis Kelce to out with friends. This is part of her “For A Fortnight” challenge happening on YouTube Shorts.

Check out Taylor Swift’s music video for “Fortnight” above.

Kendrick Perkins And Michael Wilbon Called Out ‘Frontrunner’ Heat Fans For Not Showing Up For The Play-In

heat-fans-top
ESPN

The Miami Heat are in a win and you’re in situation in the Eastern Conference. Despite Jimmy Butler being out with an injury, Miami is playing host to the Chicago Bulls on Friday night in the final game of the Eastern Conference Play-In Tournament, with the winner securing the 8-seed and a matchup with the Boston Celtics in the first round of the playoffs.

Despite the game happening in Kaseya Center, Heat fans didn’t exactly turn out in full force, which is a long-standing criticism of the fanbase. At halftime of Friday’s game, both Kendrick Perkins and Michael Wilbon of ESPN decided to take some time to call out Miami fans for not giving the team the support a game like this demands.

“It’s a close game, it’s win or go home, I’m just a little disappointed in the fanbase of the Miami Heat,” Perkins said. “It’s too many open seats in there.”

“That’s not a great fanbase at all,” Wilbon replied. “It hadn’t been. They’re frontrunners, they’re frontrunners.”

Again, this is not exactly a new critique of Miami fans, and it’s probably worth mentioning here that Wilbon is a Bulls fan who knows (as we all do) that a game at the United Center would be 100 percent sold out in this situation. Having said this, if the Heat are able to take down the Bulls and get a matchup with Boston, we’re confident that building will be packed once that series begins.

Pink Reportedly Filed Legal Paperwork To Stop Pharrell From Getting A ‘P.Inc’ Trademark

pink

In a wild turn of events for the weekend, Pink has reportedly filed legal paperwork against Pharrell Williams through her lawyers, claiming that he should not be allowed to trademark his P.Inc business, according to Rolling Stone.

The pop star registered her stage name as a trademark officially in 2001, but feels that Pharrell’s is too similar to the sound and spelling of hers. Pink’s lawyers now are aiming to have the Trademark Trial And Appeal Board continue to oppose Pharrell’s registration, along with giving her “any and all further relief.”

“[Williams’] P.INC Mark is similar to the PINK Marks in sight, sound, meaning and commercial impression,” the filing reportedly reads. “[Williams] and [Pink’s] goods and services are identical and/or closely related… [Williams] is likely to market and promote its goods through the same channels of trade and to the same consumers as [Pink].”

However, the story doesn’t stop there. Billboard also reported that Victoria’s Secret, known for their ‘PINK’ line, isn’t too pleased with Pharrell possibly getting a trademark either. “Applicant’s mark is highly similar to, and is the phonetic equivalent of, opposer’s ‘PINK’ marks,” the company wrote in their filing against the musician.

As the outlets point out, 2024 has been a journey for Pharrell and trademarks. Chad Hugo, Pharrell’s partner in The Neptunes duo, recently filed and claimed that he “fradulently” took control of their musical trademark, despite splitting “all assets” for decades.

Neither Pharell nor Pink’s team returned Rolling Stone for a request to comment.

Will Taylor Swift Be At Coachella 2024 Weekend 2?

taylor swift
Getty Image

With weekend two of Coachella kicking off today, this year’s lineup of artists will be returning to treat a mostly-new batch of fans to all their favorite songs. However, it’s not the same festival if the headliners don’t have any surprises in store. Last week, the three main acts, Lana Del Rey, Doja Cat, and Tyler The Creator, brought out several special guests to perform with them, raising questions if they’ll be changing the people and the setlists up.

Given Del Rey is close with Taylor Swift, there has specifically been speculation online that she very well could bring the pop star out for her festival debut. In case you happened to miss it, Swift dropped her new album The Tortured Poets Department and she was even spotted around at the Coachella crowds last week.

Here’s why fans think she could be returning.

Will Taylor Swift Be At Coachella 2024 Weekend 2?

As of right now, nothing about Swift joining Del Rey as a surprise guest has been confirmed. The theories first started given that the album just dropped, providing her a chance to possibly perform one of the songs (or even “Snow On The Beach” from Midnights) alongside Del Rey tonight.

She could also pop up at any sets tomorrow, as her “Karma” collaborator Ice Spice is performing and so is her record’s producer, Jack Antonoff, with his band Bleachers. At the very least, Swift might just bring back her boyfriend Travis Kelce to take in the tunes from the crowd.

Time will only tell if Swift gets a chance to be on the stage at Coachella this weekend.

The Flower Jars, Vapes, And Edibles You Need To Pick Up For A Lit 4/20

The Flower Jars, Carts, And Edibles You Need To Pick Up For A Lit 4_20(1600x500)
Uproxx

We’re coming up on 4/20. And look, regardless of whether you plan on partaking in the great stoner holiday or not, if you smoke weed recreationally and anyone knows this about you, they’re going to assume you’re psyched to roll up (or vape, or eat). So you might as well just give in.

Sure, people don’t make as big a deal of 4/20 as say, a decade ago. But the date is still shorthand for getting high — which makes it worth celebrating in our book!

To help you to have a truly lit 4/20, we’re shouting out some of our favorite flower jars, vapes, and edibles. For the most part, I’ve stuck to mid to top-shelf brands — so if you’re looking for a deal, this list probably won’t help you there. But if you’re looking to get really baked with some quality herb, we’ve got you.

Flower

Cannabiotix — Whiteout

Cannabiotix

Why We Love It:

A hybrid strain out of premium cannabis brand CBX, Whiteout is a cross between the brand’s Casino Kush and Cereal Milk strains, resulting in a strong euphoric high that will chill you out.

Flavorwise, you’re looking at a mix of sweet and creamy tones with a bit of earthy herbal, and peppery tones. It’s well-balanced and gives off a subtle kush-y aroma that doesn’t dip into being too skunky or pungent. All the senses will be pleased here!

The dominant terpenes include caryophyllene, limonene, and humulene, which should provide a relaxing, euphoric, and relaxing high. Having said that, don’t overdo it here, this strain is about 30%-34% THC so if you aren’t a seasoned smoker, a single hit of this stuff will take you far.

The Bottom Line:

Frosty buds with wirey orange hairs and a pleasant flavor that leans sweet with some light herbaceousness. It tastes as good as it looks and it’ll get you incredibly high, even if you’re a daily toker.

Find CBX here.

Connected — Cherry Fade

Connected

Why We Love It:

If you’re a sucker for purple-flecked buds (we don’t blame you), you’re going to love Connected Cannabis’ Cherry Fade. There is an equal mix of purple in this strain as there is green, and together with its orange wirey hairs and frosty appearance, it’s just a beautiful strain to look at.

Cherry Fade is a hybrid blend of Red Pop and Apples & Banana #20 and features a dry spicy and earthy flavor profile that is straight-up cough-inducing, but in the best way. The high hits fast here, beginning first at the brow and vibrating outwards to the rest of your body. I found this strain to be incredibly relaxing, without putting you into that couch-lock-level laziness.

The Bottom Line:

A peppery and spicy hybrid strain that provides a powerful body high.

Find Connected Cannabis here.

Vapes

Alien Labs — Zkittlez

Why We Love It:

I’m a hardcore Zkittlez fan, the indica-dominant hybrid strain is beloved for its sweet almost fruity flavor and the body-buzzing euphoric high it provides. Alien Labs’ one gram vape battery and cart takes the brand’s indoor-grown flower and filters it down to a live-resin product that retains a lot of the sweet notes of the flower without any of the pungent smell.

It’s also just easier to vape on the go than roll a joint, light it, rather than deal with all the trash afterward, making this a great option if you’re going to be spending your 4/20 on the go. Typically, I’m a flower guy, but I’ve never been disappointed by Alien Labs’ vapes. But be warned, the onset of your high comes on strong, so play it safe, take a hit or two and see how you feel before going hard.

The Bottom Line:

A clean 100% live resin vape that is easily rechargeable and provides most of the magic that a strain this legendary promises.

Find Alien Labs here.

Raw Garden — Bali Sunset (Refined Live Resin Diamonds)

Raw Garden

Why We Love It:

Raw Garden’s Live Resin Diamonds aren’t as all-inclusive as the Alien Labs vapes, you’re going to need your own oil-based vaporizer to enjoy this product, but I love the clean flavor and potent high you get from these tiny live resin rocks.

Bali Sunset is a cross between Grape Pie, Dosi Punch, and Lemon Juice Jones, providing a sweet tropical fruit vibe that imparts a strong and relaxing high. Bali Sunset tends to put me in a snack-y mood, making this a great option if you’re about to enjoy some good food. But, pro-tip: make those eating arrangements before you get high, because this strain might make you too lazy to move.

As such, it’s great for chilling out and relaxing, not really a strain to utilize if you have a packed itinerary ahead of you.

The Bottom Line:

Potent, flavorful, and relaxing. But you’re going to need your own oil-vape to enjoy this, so keep that in mind if you don’t have the gear.

Find Raw Garden here.

Edibles

710 Labs — Hash Rosin Gummies

Dane Rivera

Why We Love It:

The first thing you should know about 710 Labs’ Hash Rosin Gummies is that they aren’t sweet. This isn’t a product that is trying to mimic the flavors of candy, which personally, is something I look for when I’m consuming edibles. So if you like your edibles to taste like a snack, this isn’t the product for you as it tastes plant-y, like cannabis, with just a tiny hint of cane sugar to make it a bit more palpable.

Flavor aside, what you get here is a full-spectrum gummy (made from the rosin used in the brand’s dabs) with 10mg of THC per candy. The high I experienced took about 1 hour to hit me on an empty stomach and provided a strong and intense body buzz that lasted for a few hours. While my tolerance is quite high, a single 10mg gummy was enough for me to feel the high considerably. Something to keep in mind if you feel the urge to pop a second gummy before waiting a full hour.

The Bottom Line:

A natural-tasting gummy that provides a powerful body high.

Find 710 Labs Hash Rosin Gummies here.

Highatus — L’Orange Sour Gummies

Highatus/CBX

Why We Love It:

Highatus is a fairly new edible brand made by the same people behind Cannabiotix, so you know this stuff is going to deliver. Unlike the 710 Labs Hash Rosin Gummies, there is a lot more flavor here. While I wouldn’t say this provides the same sort of sweetness as a sour gummi bear, it does taste a bit more like candy with a bitter plant-y flavor that only appears once you’ve finished chewing the gummy.

For 4/20, I highly suggest L’Orange, a 10mg gummy with a mix of lemon and orange flavors and terpinolene, caryophyllene, and myrcene terpenes which provide a giggle-inducing energetic high that is perfect for kicking off your 4/20. The high here is highly euphoric, but don’t expect a strong body response, the high here is mostly cerebral.

The Bottom Line:

An edible that leans on the sweeter side with an energetic feel-good cerebral high.
