Megan Thee Stallion’s Tight ‘I Think I Love Her Freestyle’ Flexes On Her Foes

Megan Thee Stallion has been sharpening up her pen and is ready to prove it with a new #MeganMonday drop, “I Think I Love Her Freestyle.” The Houston rapper opts for a simple, straightforward approach, setting up her mic on a table and letting the camera roll as she unleashes a barrage of hard-hitting punchlines and flexes on her critics and foes.

“Good brain, graduated, top of my percentile,” she boasts, before sneaking in a jab at a certain someone. “Take it out the chat, I ain’t tryna be your pen pal / Meanwhile, it’s a bitch on the app right now / Gettin’ f*cked over, still braggin’ ’bout her body count.”

She also reserves a couplet for one of her chatty former coworkers, sniping, “Runway sh*t, I do not do the retail / Stopped f*ckin’ rappers, they spill all the details.” Woof.

Meg first announced her imminent takeover with a racy photo declaring it “Megan May” and warning fans to “get ready.” She’s been teasing the release of a potential project for some months, and with her Hot Girl Summer Tour kicking off next week, such a new album would be perfectly timed to drop sometime in the next 25 or so days. For now, you can check out the “I Think I Love Her Freestyle” video above.

The ‘Challengers’ Threesome Will Be Reuniting At The Met Gala

Challengers
Amazon/MGM

Ah, the Met Gala, my favorite time of the year to have opinions on impossibly gorgeous people in their finest outfits while I’m at home scrolling Twitter in a hoodie and gym shorts. Not the gym shorts with the hole in the back, though. These are my fashionable gym shorts.

The 2024 Met Gala theme is “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” and the dress code is “The Garden of Time.” But it should be “Tennis” and “More Tennis” because arguably the most anticipated attendees of fashion’s biggest night are Zendaya, Mike Faist, and Josh O’Connor, the stars of Challengers.

The threesome, I mean, trio from the year’s sexiest movie won’t be arriving together — unless… — but all three are on the guest list. In fact, Zendaya, the belle of every ball, is one of this year’s Met Gala hosts, along with Jennifer Lopez, Bad Bunny, Chris Hemsworth, and Vogue editor Anna Wintour.

During a recent episode of Live with Kelly and Mark, Zendaya talked about her history with the Met Gala. “I first went when I was 18 years old, and Law [Roach] and I, my stylist, we’ve been working together since I was like 14 years old,” she said. “But I remember being 18 and it was such an exciting and new experience. But still terrifying.”

If Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross’ Challengers score isn’t playing when Zendaya arrives, someone messed up.

A New ‘Star Wars’ Special Will Acknowledge One Of The Galaxy’s Weirdest Fan Theories

jar jar sith
Disney+

For years, decades even, fans of Jar Jar Binks have known that he has always been operating at a level beyond everyone else in the Star Wars universe. Yes, he looks like a frog, but he also has helped those robe-wearing Jedi numerous times and therefor saved the universe and paved the way for CGI representation. And yet he was still bullied!

Ahmed Best, the man behind the 6’5″ amphibian, teased earlier this year that he was pulled back in to the universe with a cryptic Instagram post featuring the hashtag “#sithlord” Obviously, fans picked up on this and half-seriously, half-jokingly called for a Sith Jar Jar, which has been a long-running fan theory.

Before The Force Awakens was released in 2015, an outlandish fan theory made the rounds, proposing that the mostly despised character was actually a lot stronger and more evil than we remember. Binks did not end up appearing in The Force Awakens, but the theory lived on as a popular joke for those of us who are too online. Now, Disney+ has gotten in on the joke.

In an upcoming animated series titled LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild The Galaxy, various Star Wars storylines are brought back to life in a new way, including that evil Sith Jar Jar we’ve been waiting decades for. Stranger Things‘ Gaten Matarazzo voices the main character who is forced to confront the mean Jar Jar himself, among others. Here is the official synopsis:

In LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy, the entire Star Wars Galaxy gets completely mixed up when an ordinary nerf-herder, Sig Greebling (Gaten Matarazzo), unearths a powerful artifact from a hidden Jedi temple. He finds himself thrust into adventure in a new, wondrously wild and twisted version of the galaxy where good guys are bad, bad guys are good, and the fate of all depends on Sig becoming the hero who can put all the pieces back together.

Finally, at long last, fans are able to hear the words we’ve all been wanting to hear Jar Jar say: “Mesa going to hurt Yousa.” Chilling.

The series consists of four episodes which will drop on Disney+ on September 13th. Check out the trailer below:

Who Is Kendrick Lamar’s Fiancée? Learn About Whitney Alford

Over the course of the half-dozen or so diss tracks exchanged by Drake and Kendrick Lamar over the past week(end), one person’s name has been tossed around almost as much as either of those involved, and that’s Whitney Alford. Drake used the mother of Kendrick’s children as a point of attack on two different tracks, “Family Matters” and “The Heart Part 6,” accusing the other rapper of abuse and neglect. He also suggests that at least one of Kendrick’s kids might be the result of infidelity between Alford and Kendrick’s business partner, Dave Free. So, who is Whitney Alford?

Alford is Kendrick Lamar’s high-school sweetheart, with whom he has shared a long-running, on-and-off-again romance. She is a makeup artist by trade, but has appeared on several of Kendrick’s songs, contributing background vocals to “King Kunta” and “Wesley’s Theory” from To Pimp A Butterfly, as well as appearing on the Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers cover with the couple’s children and narrating the tracks “United In Grief” and “Father Time.” She isn’t active on social media, but around the time Kendrick’s last album came out, she posted repeatedly — presumably to help promote the album — and Drake fans have used a May 2022 post as evidence that she and Kendrick have been on the outs for some time, as Drake asserts in his diss tracks.

‘Bluey’ creators put full ‘Dad Baby’ episode on YouTube so Americans can finally see it

American “Bluey” fans have enjoyed nearly full access to the entire lineup of the popular Australian kids’ show since it started streaming on Disney +, with one notable exception: Season 2, Episode 13, also known as “Dad Baby.”

The “Dad Baby” episode has attained legendary status in the “Bluey” world, with U.S. audiences wondering what could possibly have caused Disney to choose not to include it on its streaming service. Now, thanks to the official “Bluey” YouTube account sharing the full episode for free, we can all find out.

The 7-minute episode, which you can view below, was uploaded to YouTube on May 1, 2024 and has received more than 6 million views in five days. Comments on the video are turned off, but people have been discussing the censorship of “Dad Baby” on social media with a resounding reaction of “Huh? Why?”

While childbirth might be seen by some as a touchy subject, most viewers agree that there’s nothing in the “Dad Baby” episode that feels questionable or inappropriate for young children.

In short, the kids are playing pretend with their dad, Bandit, who puts on a baby carrier and carries Bluey’s younger sister around as if he were pregnant. There’s an ongoing bit with Bandit acting as if being pregnant is a walk in the park, while actually feeling the strains and pains of carrying an extra person around. Ultimately, he ends up “giving birth” with the help of a neighbor, in the family’s backyard blow-up pool. It’s all very silly and quite hilarious.

It’s also an accurate portrayal of how kids actually play in the real world. One of the things fans love about “Bluey” is the way the parents go along with their kids’ imaginary play, sometimes going to ridiculous lengths to act out their make-believe storylines. This episode might stretch those lengths a tad bit, but not more than some other “Bluey” episodes.

Watch and judge for yourself:

The comments are turned off on the YouTube upload, but people have been discussing it on social media with comments such as these:

“That was an absolutely adorable episode thank you for sharing it with us. Idk why it’s banned, but I’m glad I got to watch it.”

“I cackled so hard at this episode. I couldn’t believe they kept it off disney plus.”

“i work in a nursery every day for my 10 year + career i have seen all children play pretend pregnant boys and girls … its just something kids do(it aint a new thing i promise you xD) n this episode is just a dad joining in his kids play!”

“”One of my family’s favorite episodes! My 10y/o to 4y/o were in tears laughing the first time we saw it thinking of when I was pregnant with their little sister/brother (who are now 3y/o and 1y/o).”

“America is so backwards, it sensors/removes/bans things on a children’s program that are nothing to worry about but then they allow guns in real life!!! How does that make sense?? This episode has aired on cebeebies (a toddlers tv channel in the uk) many times and is on the uk disney+. I honestly don’t see the problem with this episode.”

Disney has apparently never explicitly stated why “Dad Baby” was censored from the lineup, so people naturally gravitate toward their own theories. Perhaps it’s a tad too close to sex education? Maybe it’s showing a man being pregnant? Maybe it’s the visual of a dog lying with its legs spread in a pool while “giving birth,” even though no body parts are even shown? Maybe it’s our societal squeamishness about childbirth in general?

Whatever the reason, people seem to disagree that there’s anything worth censoring in this episode and are thankful that they’re now able to see it. As one of the top streaming shows, “Bluey” has built an enormous loyal fan base of all ages, and for them (ahem, us), even one missing episode is one too many.

The Next Barbenheimer Could Be… ‘Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga’ And ‘The Garfield Movie’?

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga Anya Taylor Joy
Warner Bros

The Barbenheimer phenomenon of 2023 is not something that can easier be replicated, because it was a perfect storm of chaos and destruction all wrapped in a pretty pink bow. But, in theory, you can apply the same logic to a big-budget action movie and a flick about an animated cat who lives lasagna, and maybe you can gain some of that magical marketing mojo?!?! Maybe not, but we will have to see.

The upcoming Mad Max prequel Furiosa will tumble into theaters on May 24th, the same day as a certain orange fluff ball voiced by Chris Pratt.

After the underwhelming box office debut for The Fall Guy, Deadline is reporting that box office prognosticators are hoping that the May box office gets a boost from the two flicks. Early projections have the dystopian action film debuting with $40-$50 million, while Garfield is aiming for close to $35 million.

The two demographics are obviously very different, but we’ve seen this before! Could that Barbenheimer magic translate to 2024? Probably…not. But we shouldn’t put that much pressure on a cat anyway.

Garfield follows the titular feline as he finds his long-lost father Vic and joins him on a cat heist. Furiosa follows the titular heroine as she tries to reunite with her own family after being kidnapped. It’s fun for the whole family! As long as you are not estranged. Garfuriosa is a go!

The biggest Memorial Weekend box office was 2022’s Top Gun: Maverick, which single-handedly saved movies. Maybe if Tom Cruise had been chosen as the voice of Garfield we could have seen another monumental movie moment. Instead, we just got Mario.

Emily Blunt Has Admitted That She Wanted To ‘Throw Up’ After Kissing Some Of Her Male Co-Stars

emily-blunt.jpg
Getty Image

Emily Blunt is currently starring in Universal Pictures’ The Fall Guy, which arrived in theaters this past weekend, as a director and ex-girlfriend of Ryan Gosling’s Colt Seavers. Over the years, she’s also found herself across from (and kissing) many leading men, including Tom Cruise, The Rock, Matt Damon, and Cillian Murphy. Would you be surprised to learn that not every onscreen kiss has been a pleasant experience for Blunt?

That was the admission that she recently made to Howard Stern when he point-blank (as Stern tends to do) asked, “Have you [ever] wanted to throw up?” The Oscar-nominated actress answered in the affirmative, but she did not name names.

Via The Daily Mail, she replied, “Absolutely, absolutely…I wouldn’t say it’s extreme loathing, but I’ve definitely not enjoyed some of it.” She then elaborated, “I’ve been doing this long enough. I could have chemistry with this water bottle at this point. You know how to conjure it. But it’s just easier when you have a natural rapport with someone.”

Blunt explained her line of reasoning as follows:

“I think my feeling is I’ve got to find something I love about everybody. I have to find something – even if it’s one thing. It might be like they have a nice laugh or I like how they speak to people, they’re polite. I mean, it might be something random. But find something you love about that person or something you love about them as the character and then kind of lean into that.”

Her comments in totality suggest that Blunt simply does not enjoy kissing strangers, which is completely understandable, especially since she is happily married to John Krasinski. And it’s worth noting that she and The Rock both had fun with the subject (regarding Disney’s Jungle Cruise) during a previous interview when she joked that she “had to get drunk,” and he “had to get high” for their kissing moments. It’s safe to say, however, that these were remarks were completely made in jest, and the pair will soon co-star again in A24’s The Smashing Machine, as Blunt discusses in the below video.

Kristen Stewart Had Quite The Description For Her ‘F*cking Thrill Ride’ Directorial Debut

Kristen Stewart
Getty Image

After making her return to vampire cinema, Kristen Stewart will continue working on her directorial debut. The Chronology of Water is based on Lidia Yuknavitch’s 2011 memoir of the same name, and it’s about “a lifelong swimmer turned artist” — although I prefer Stewart’s description.

“My movie is about incest and periods and a woman violently repossessing her voice and body, and it is, at times, hard to watch,” the Love Lies Bleeding actress told NET-A-PORTER. “But it’s gonna be a f*cking thrill ride.”

She continued, “I think that’s commercial, but I don’t think that I have any gauge on what that means. I think people would want to see that, but then… I think maybe people wanna watch movies about, like, Jesus and dogs.”

Don’t give Mark Wahlberg any ideas.

Stewart is in “soft prep” on The Chronology of Water, which she called a “dreamy place that you get to live in before you actually have your crew at your disposal.” The movie will be filmed in Latvia rather than in the United States because, as she explained, “I needed a sort of radical detachment. I am not a director yet. I need to make a student film. I can’t do that here.”

The Chronology of Water doesn’t have a release date yet, but this guy is checking daily.
