Doja Cat is heading back to Coachella for weekend two of the festival, as she’ll take the stage this Sunday. Given she went all out with having a giant T-rex on stage and her dancers wearing wigs for costumes, it was one not to miss.

Those who are just now heading to the California festival, or are returning for the second (and last) weekend, might be wondering what they can expect from Doja’s set when they see her. Specifically, if she will be bringing out any other musicians to play with.

Here’s what to know.

Will Doja Cat Have Surprise Guests At Coachella 2024 Weekend 2?

During Doja’s weekend one performance, she brought out The Joy for “Shutcho,” 21 Savage for a cover of his song “N.H.I.E.,” Teezo Touchdown for “Masc,” and ASAP Rocky for “URRRGE!!!!!!!!!!” — with her full setlist available here. While it’s not yet confirmed if she’ll be having the same guests back this weekend, there’s a large chance she’ll be welcoming at least one surprise guest, whether it’s a returning one or a new addition to treat the crowd to.

Throughout her set, Doja also played 21 songs in total, so she has plenty of room to toss in some surprises. No matter what she has in store, it is sure to be another buzzy and entertaining Coachella run for her.

In example #85,331 of how no one can be normal about Sydney Sweeney, the Immaculate actress was criticized by a producer who said she’s “not pretty” and “can’t act.” Carol Baum, who worked on films like Dead Ringers and Father of the Bride and is now an adjunct professor at the University of Southern California, took aim at Sydney during a recent conversation with New York Times film critic Janet Maslin. “I said to my class, ‘Explain this girl to me. She’s not pretty, she can’t act. Why is she so hot?’ Nobody had an answer,” she said.

Sweeney responded to Baum’s comments through her representatives.

“How sad that a woman in the position to share her expertise and experience chooses instead to attack another woman,” the statement reads. “If that’s what she’s learned in her decades in the industry and feels is appropriate to teach to her students, that’s shameful. To unjustly disparage a fellow female producer speaks volumes about Ms. Baum’s character.”

A representative for Baum did not immediately respond to Variety‘s request for comment, but TMZ reported Wednesday that the producer is “already expressing regret over the whole thing” and “wishes she never would’ve made her original comments.”

As for Sweeney, she’s doing just fine. Anyone but You was an unexpectedly huge hit, she got some of the best reviews of her career for Immaculate, and most people have already forgotten about Madame Web. Not me, though. I’ll never stop thinking about “he was in the Amazon with my mom when she was researching spiders, right before she died.”

Kanye West and wife Bianca Censori apparently had a troubling run-in recently that now involves law enforcement, as West reportedly punched a man who got physical with Censori.

Citing “law enforcement sources,” TMZ reports the Los Angeles Police Department is investigating after being told West punched a man in the face on April 16, after the man had allegedly “pushed or grabbed” Censori. Police reportedly plan to reach out to West and speak to witnesses.

TMZ later reported that a representative for West told them, “‘Grabbed’ is grossly inadequate as a description of what happened. Bianca was physically assaulted. The assailant didn’t merely collide into her. He put his hands under her dress, directly on her body, he grabbed her waist, he spun her around, and then he blew her kisses. She was battered and sexually assaulted.”

West, meanwhile, is currently facing a lawsuit related to Donda Academy. The suit makes some odd and serious allegations, including that West “treated the Black staff considerably worse than white employees” and would “scream and berate Black employees, while never even as much raising his tone at the white staff.” He also reportedly claimed that “gay people are controlled by Bill Gates so that they don’t have children for population control.”

Cardi B has been going through it lately. During a recent Instagram Live broadcast (as HotNewHipHop notes), Cardi explained she has been dealing with a stomach issue, which for a week has made it tough for her to keep food down. Consequently, she has lost some weight, but she’s looking to gain it back.

Cardi said, “Until I gain weight back, I’m not going out, because I do not like how my body look. I look too f*cking skinny and I don’t like it. When I look too skinny, I don’t feel like pants look good on me, or skirts, or small little dresses.”

She went on to lay out her plan for gaining weight:

“I weigh 130 pounds right now. I was at 137, I’m at like 130, and sometimes I’ve been at 128. That’s bad for me. I do not like being that skinny. So until I get my weight back, I’m not going outside, I’m not f*cking doing content, I’m not putting on no outfit ’cause I feel like I look too f*cking skinny. I need to eat and I need some dick. Because, you know, dick helps you gain weight. I don’t know, it’s just a science.”

Donald Trump took time off from falling asleep in court to reignite his feud with Jimmy Kimmel.

“Stupid Jimmy Kimmel, who still hasn’t recovered from his horrendous performance and big ratings drop as Host of The Academy Awards, especially when he showed he suffered from TDS, commonly known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, to the entire World by reading on air my TRUTH about how bad a job he was doing that night, right before he stumbled through announcing the biggest award of all, ‘Picture of the Year,’” the former president wrote on Truth Social on Wednesday, seemingly confusing Kimmel with Al “And My Eyes See… Oppenheimer” Pacino.

Weird stuff! Kimmel initially fired back at Trump on social media before bringing up his ramblings during last night’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Kimmel was impressed that Trump spelled “vaunted” correctly, but “literally everything else is not just wrong, but maybe-we-should-be-worried-about-him wrong, maybe-we-should-take-the-keys-away-from-grandpa wrong.” He added, “Now don’t get me wrong, I wish I was Al Pacino. He’s Al Pacino, I’m me. You’d think he’d know that because I’m pretty sure, ‘Say hello to my little friend’ is what he said to Stormy Daniels that got him in all this trouble.”

Kid Cudi has a lot to be happy about right now. He was just named a last-minute addition to the Coachella lineup for its upcoming second weekend. Oh yeah, and he’s getting married: On Instagram last night/this morning (April 18), Cudi announced that he is now engaged to fiancée Lola Abecassis Sartore.

Sharing photos of himself and his betrothed at the April 16 premiere of Sonic spin-off series Knuckles, Cudi wrote, “My fiancé Lola and me at the Knuckles premiere. This amazing woman makes me so happy, she is everything to me and im so excited to share this news w u all [face holding back tears emoji] Life is wild, and right when I felt my future was uncertain, it became crystal clear with Lola. Happy Cud in full effect.”

Sartore shared a post of her own and wrote, “I never thought I could love someone this much! So proud to call you my fiancé Scott.”

According to her LinkedIn profile, Sartore studied at the Atelier Chardon Savard fashion design school from 2014 to 2017 and has worked at Louis Vuitton since 2017, first as a product manager assistant and now as a designer.

As for Knuckles, Cudi is in the cast alongside folks like Idris Elba, Adam Pally, and Cary Elwes. The show is set to premiere on Paramount+ on April 26.

In the few short years of Abbott Elementary‘s award-winning run on television, the show has already had an impressive slate of guest stars, including Vince Staples, Zack Fox, Philadelphia 76ers star Andre Iguodala, Philly area native Bradley Cooper, and even Flyers mascot Gritty. The latest Philadelphian celebrity to feature on the show? None other than The Roots’ Questlove, who popped up to support Ava-fest, Janelle James’ principal character’s narcisstic spin on open house. Amir came through in the clutch for Ava after she built up her legend as a close personal friend of the drummer who credited herself for co-founding the Roots — much to her coworkers’ skeptical chagrin.

Quest’s appearance came during a season in which the show’s profile has skyrocketed; in addition to Cooper, other well-known celebrities to stop by the fictional elementary school this season have included legendary actress Cree Summer — a major influence on television as the voice of basically every Black cartoon character of the ’90s and early 2000s — Tatyana Ali, best known for her role as Ashley on The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air, and Eagles players Jason Kelce, Jalen Hurts, and Brandon Graham, who appeared in the season premiere via video chat for a failed romantic bid by a supporting character.

Questlove seemed pretty amused by the flurry of messages he received when the episode aired on the east coast, and social media was flooded with fans’ delight at his much-teased, semi-unlikely (but pretty much guaranteed) appearance. Now, we just need to see about getting Sexyy Red that cameo…

Wednesday’s Play-In games in the East followed a similar script to those in the West, with a thrilling opener in the 7-8 game before an absolute rout in the 9-10 matchup.

After the Sixers escaped with a win over the Heat in the opener, the Chicago Bulls lit up the extremely porous Atlanta Hawks defense en route to a 131-116 win to extend their season and send Atlanta into an offseason of uncertainty. The Bulls jumped out to a massive lead in the early going, taking a 40-22 lead after the first quarter. They met almost no resistance from Atlanta, with DeMar DeRozan setting the tone in the halfcourt, and then were able to get out and run in transition thanks to some sloppy turnovers by the Hawks.

However, the Hawks would go on a 14-0 run to open the second quarter, cutting the deficit to just a couple of possessions thanks to a heater from Dejounte Murray, who finished the game with 30 points, seven rebounds, and six assists.

Chicago would eventually find their flow again offensively in what became a shootout, taking a 73-67 lead into the halftime break. It was in the third quarter that the Bulls really stretched things out, with Coby White leading the charge. White continued his breakout season with one of the best performances of his career, scoring 42 points on 15-of-21 shooting to go along with nine rebounds and six assists. The fifth year guard was lethal going downhill, carving up Atlanta’s weak point of attack defense and getting to the rim pretty much at will, before showing off his range from three to bury the Hawks for good.

White got help from DeRozan (22 points, nine assists), Nikola Vucevic (24 points, 12 rebounds), and Ayo Dosunmu (19 points on 8-of-12 shooting), as Chicago could simply get whatever they wanted offensively. They’ll now go to Miami to face the Heat on Friday for the 8-seed and a first round series against the Boston Celtics, and will be coming in with plenty of confidence after their performance against the Hawks. That game in Miami also might be against a Heat team without Jimmy Butler, who suffered a knee injury on Wednesday night in Philly and is feared to have suffered an MCL injury. Unfortunately for the Bulls, they also didn’t emerge from the first Play-In game unscathed, as Alex Caruso suffered a foot sprain early on when teammate Andre Drummond stepped on him, and his status for Friday is in doubt.

For the Hawks, they will go into an offseason where they are in desperate need of a roster refresh. The tandem of Dejounte Murray and Trae Young seems to have run its course, as they just don’t seem to click together at all. Beyond just that dynamic, the defensive effort all year was rough and was particularly awful on Wednesday night, and something needs to change sooner than later. While Murray was the one on the trade block entering the deadline, Young’s name has also come up in rumors and there’s some very interesting decisions to be made about their roster as a whole — Young’s performance in this game being the last impression of him this season doesn’t help his cause, at least with fans.

All the way back in March 2022, Rob49 told Uproxx about his favorite spots in New Orleans, Louisiana. The New Orleans-bred rapper will have an opportunity to visit them all when his and Skilla Baby’s newly announced co-headlining Vultures Eat The Most Tour rolls through the Smoothie King Center on June 15.

According to a press release, this will be Rob49 and Skilla Baby’s first time touring together. The 17-date North American trek will open on May 30 in Orlando, Florida. The aforementioned New Orleans concert on June 15 — doubling as Rob49’s third annual Vulture Island Experience — will stage surprise guests such as Baby Drill, Polo G, Hunxho, No Cap, and YTB Fatt.

Tickets will go on sale for the general public on Friday, April 19, through the tour’s official website. The press release also states, “Pre-sale tickets will go live on Thursday, April 18, through each city’s promoter.”

Rob49 And Skilla Baby’s Vultures Eat The Most Tour Poster

Jimmy Butler did not look like himself for much of the Miami Heat’s Play-In Tournament loss to the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday night. While Butler played 40 minutes, he never looked like he was able to shake a knee injury that he suffered in the waning moments of the first quarter when Kelly Oubre accidentally collided with his leg while trying to contest a shot.

Butler was on the ground in serious pain, but managed to gut it out in what ended up being a 105-104 Heat loss. After the game, Shams Charania of The Athletic reported that the fear in Miami is that Butler suffered an MCL injury that could keep him out indefinitely, depending on what happens with some upcoming testing he’ll get performed.

After the game, Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports got a video of Butler attempting to leave the arena, and it was clear that he was in some serious pain as he tried to walk.

Butler had 19 points on 5-for-18 shooting with five steals, five assists, and four rebounds in the loss to Philadelphia. The Heat’s next game comes on Friday night, when they’ll play host to either the Chicago Bulls or the Atlanta Hawks with the winner moving on to play the Boston Celtics in the first round of the playoffs.
