Over the weekend, Sweeney partied with Schwarzenegger and MGK at the grand opening of the Palm Tree Beach Club in Las Vegas. Bob Dylan’s favorite artist shared a photo of the three of them together in an Instagram Story with the caption, “If rehab did a field trip to the White Lotus.”
Both Sweeney and Schwarzenegger have starred on the HBO series, her in season 1 (as a scary teen) and him in season 3 (as a buffoon).
Peoplereports that Sweeney and MGK are “longtime pals.” They appeared in the 2019 comedy Big Time Adolescence together, and she had a starring role in his Grease 2-inspired film Downfalls High.
“Me and [Big Time Adolescence star] Pete [Davidson] were kind of disliked by the globe at that point, and you were really nice to both of us,” MGK told Sweeney in a 2021 interview. She added, “The first day I showed up to set, you and Pete were dancing on top of the trailers. I walk in and you guys are literally tattooing each other and I’m like, OK, this is like the coolest set I’ve ever been on.”

A couple weeks ago, Julien Baker and Torres launched a tour in support of their new joint country album, Send A Prayer My Way. A few more May dates were on the schedule, but now Baker and Torres have pulled the plug on them.
In an Instagram post shared yesterday (May 4), Baker explained that she’s “prioritizing her well-being and taking time to focus on her health” “due to recent events.” The post reads:
“Due to recent events, Julien Baker is prioritizing her well-being and taking time to focus on her health. Therefore, the Julien Baker & TORRES ‘Send A Prayer My Way’ Tour has been canceled. This decision was not made lightly, and we understand the disappointment this may cause for fans. We deeply appreciate your understanding.
Refunds and ticketing information will be provided by the original point of purchase.
Thank you for your continued support and compassion.”
This comes after the pair canceled some shows due to “one of our key members” sustaining a concussion. At the time, it was not specified who had the concussion and it still has not been clarified.
Meanwhile, Lucy Dacus recently said of internet reactions to her and Baker’s relationship, “I try not to look. But friends have been sending me funny things. It’s a happy thing — and Julien is very pro me letting people know.”
Billie Eilish and Finneas’ love for Radiohead as a group has long since been documented. Back in 2023, the “Birds Of A Feather” singer told BBC 1 she turned to Radiohead, Deftones, My Bloody Valentine, Mazzy Star, and Dominic Fike as inspiration when making her third album (which we would come to know as Hit Me Hard And Soft).
Well, Billie Eilish demonstrated her love for Radiohead during a recent Hit Me Hard And Soft: The Tour stop. Today (May 4) while serenading the concertgoers within Amsterdam, Netherlands’ Ziggo Dome Billie Eilish delivered a mesmerizing cover of Radiohead’s song “Creep.”
In the video (viewable here) captured by a fan, Eilish embodied the raw emotion of “Creep.” Moved by Eilish’s rendition, the crowd joined in to belt out its melody.
According to Eilish’s tour manager Brian Marquis, Radiohead has reciprocal love for the Oscar Award-winner. During an interview with Rolling Stone, Marquis told the outlet Radiohead’s lead singer Thom Yorke has praised Eilish too.
“I like Billie Eilish,” he reportedly said. “She’s doing her own thing. Nobody’s telling her what to do.”
Marquis continued by saying Yorke echoed those statements to Eilish privately. “You’re the only one doing anything fucking interesting nowadays,” he supposedly said.
Benson Boone has all the makings of a pop heartthrob. From the luscious locks and chiseled abs to his lover boy song lyrics, the “Mystical Magical” singer has a flock of women vying for a chance to be his lady.
But yesterday (May 3) during his appearance on Saturday Night Live, Boone temporarily had his eyes locked in on one specific women–the evening’s guest host Quinta Brunson.
After being introduced by Brunson, Boone began his performance of American Heart single “Sorry I’m Here For Someone Else” with daredevil backflip off a stage prop. Impressed by the by move, Brunson smiled in full approval. Seeing Brunson’s reaction Boone leaned into the movement by serenading her during the track’s opening verse.
“I’m sorry I’m here for someone else / But it’s good to see your face / And I really hope you’re doing well / I hope you’re doing well,” sang Boone.
Fans have already found themselves emotionally investigating in what could potentially come for the interaction. However, the brief camera moment appeared to be nothing more than an innocent move from a master showman in the making.

With “Mystical Magical” now official available across platform music sites, Boone took the tune up a notch for his Saturday Night Live rendition.
For his second performance as musical guests, Boone and his orchestra added a little razzle-dazzle to the already shimmering single. With a simple stage set, supporting musicians in a crispy all white uniform and an arc of flashing neon lights, Boone easily stood out among the crowd set. Dressed in what appeared to be an abstract velvet maroon matching set, Boone’s ensemble was just as smooth as his vocal delivery.
Boone has become known for his high-flying moves live in concert. So, to give viewers a piece of his performance signature, Boone hit a flawless flip mid-note then went straight back into the colorful performance. Although Boone’s theatrics were rather pulled back in comparison to his past sets (at the 2025 Grammys for example), what supporters at home did quickly grab onto was his gentler side as he showed off his inner hopeless romantic.

Sadly, according to Reuters, a local terrorist group plotted to detonate a bomb among the 2.5 million crowd. Fortunately, local authorities thwarted the plan.
Today (May 4), mere hours after the spin-tingling news was shared, representatives for Lady Gaga issued a statement regarding the incident.
“We learned about this alleged threat via media reports this morning,” the rep told Variety. “Prior to and during the show, there were no known safety concerns, nor any communication from the police or authorities to Lady Gaga regarding any potential risks. Her team worked closely with law enforcement throughout the planning and execution of the concert and all parties were confident in the safety measures in place.”
According to AP, two people have been arrested in connection to the plan.
“Those involved were recruiting participants, including teenagers, to carry out integrated attacks using improvised explosives and Molotov cocktails,” said local authorities in a statement.
The Justice Ministry claimed the underground organization “falsely presented themselves online as Lady Gaga superfans” in an effort to create “networks with violent and self-destructive content.”
But instead of boasting about those achievements, during Quinta Brunson decided to brag about something else she’s proud of–her height. Yes, the 4′ 11″ badass used her opening monologue on SNL to sing all about the perks of being “fun-sized.” Brunson wasn’t alone in her theatrical ballad. The pop queen of all things short and sweet, Sabrina Carpenter (5′ 0″) hilariously crashed Brunson’s number to join in on the public service announcement.
“Being short isn’t all bad,” declared Brunson.
Carpenter quickly affirmed: “Of course not.”
“There’s so much to do down here / So much to see from the view down here / Door handles, window seals,” sang Carpenter.
“Toddler’s eyes / People’s crotches / and Jeremy Allen White,” harmonized Brunson.
Earlier in the segment, Brunson shouted out a few of her favorite “shorties” including Tom Holland (5′ 7″) and Kendrick Lamar (5′ 5″). The monologue was crashed once again by Marcello Hernández and Dwyane Wade.
Hernández joined solely to appear taller in comparison to the ladies. While Wade opened up about being a “shorty” at heart after spending years surrounded by other professional basketball players over seven foot tall.
Brunson welcomed them all with open arms into her shorty army.

Next month would have marked two years since Lewis Capaldi performed in front of a crowd. But the “Someone You Loved” singer decided to crash a noble event to make his grand return to the stage.
Although footage from Capaldi pop-up performance can not be found online (due to the event’s strictly enforced no phone policy), Walker proudly confirmed that his dear friend did in fact woo the audience.
First of all, thank you to Glastonbury for having me, for singing along when I needed it and for all the amazing messages afterwards. It really does mean the world.
The fact that this probably won’t come as a surprise doesn’t make it any easier to write, but I’m very sorry to let you know I’m going to be taking a break from touring for the foreseeable future.
I used to be able to enjoy every second of shows like this, and I’d hoped 3 weeks away would sort me out. But the truth is I’m still learning to adjust to the impact of my Tourette’s and on Saturday it became obvious that I need to spend much more time getting my mental and physical health in order, so I can keep doing everything I love for a long time to come.
I know I’m incredibly fortunate to be able to take some time out when others can’t, and I’d like to thank my amazing family, friends, team, medical professionals and all of you who’ve been so supportive every step of the way through the good times and even more so during this past year when I’ve needed it more than ever.
I’m so incredibly sorry to everyone who had planned to come to a show before the end of the year, but I need to feel well to perform at the standard you all deserve. Playing for you every night is all I’ve ever dreamed of, so this has been the most difficult decision of my life. I’ll be back as soon as I possibly can. [heart emoji]
All my love, always, Lewis x.
Fans hope Capaldi’s performance at the charity show encourages him to lift his indefinite hiatus from touring.
Due to overwhelming demand, tickets for Lady Gaga’s upcoming The Mayhem Ball tour are largely sold out. So, for many of the “Abracadabra” singer’s fans the only opportunity to catch Lady Gaga live was yesterday (May 3).
According to Reuters, Lady Gaga’s historic performance was the target of a terroristic bomb attack.
Today (May 4), Brazilian police confirmed they were able to foil an unnamed group’s plans to attack the area. Authorities have not publicly disclosed specifics about the egregious efforts. But the Civil Police of Rio de Janeiro state issue a debrief regarding the incidence.
Based on the outlet’s report, the Civil Police of Rio de Janeiro worked alongside the Justice Ministry to coordinate the takedown of the plot. Supposedly, the quashed plan was “orchestrated by a group promoting hate speech and the radicalization of teenagers.”
Lady Gaga has not yet issued a statement regarding the report.
Netflix knows that three long years have passed since Tim Burton’s Wednesday first brought an unblinking Jenna Ortega into the public consciousness. As a result, the stakes are high, and the show is pulling out the stops including Mother Monster herself (Lady Gaga) for a role, but also, the streaming service recently opened the floodgates on hints for the second season, so let’s catch up on the latest drops for what to expect.
Trailer
We might as well start here because this is what the people have been waiting for, and we’ll talk about trailer happenings in the plot section.
Release Date
After what seemed like a hellish eternity, Netflix finally confirmed two release dates. Yep, this is gonna be a split season with Part 1 arriving on August 6 and Part 2 following on September 3.
Plot
Netflix
There’s almost too much going on in the above trailer including Wednesday’s offense at sun cream, her return to Nevermore Academy, her ever-softening affection toward Enid (those dolls, though), and Uncle Fester taking a bubble bath. Also, Tyler made this face.
A previous smidgen of a clip revealed Wednesday going to visit Tyler, who has been chained up at Willow Hill Psychiatric Hospital following his Hyde reveal. Naturally, Wednesday did not appear to reveal the nature of her pilgrimage while looking downright stony-faced. So, it’s unclear whether this is a friendly visit, but he doesn’t look too upset to see her in the above trailer? Also, it’s clear that attraction existed on his part during the infamous dance scene even though Wednesday had other (investigative) things on her mind during that evening. So, will there be a true romance this season or not? It’s a tough call.
“[T]here is a frame of Pugsley rolling his eyes back with this contraption around his head-that’s all I can say- and it reminds me so much of Full Metal Jacket. It’s insane. So bizarre. I just feel like there are a lot of scenes and frames, and there’s a whole episode based off of slashers, and we make a lot of horror references… I feel like we kind of had a little bit more trust, and therefore, we felt like we could do bigger, more elaborate sequences, which is nice.”
The second season premiere will be titled “Here We Woe Again” and will be directed by Burton. Presumably, this involves Wednesday embarking upon more procedural adventures and also following up on who the hell is stalking her because the show cannot drop that season finale ball. Also, showrunners Al Gough and Miles Millar have been coy while promising a “more complex” journey for Wednesday “as she navigates family, friends, new mysteries, and old adversaries.” This will add up to a “delightfully dark, kooky, and mysterious. If we told you why, Wednesday would kill us.” Heck yeah.
Cast
Jenna Ortega will do more frightful things as Wednesday Addams with Morticia and Gomez still being portrayed by Catherine Zeta-Jones and Luis Guzman. The trailer confirms that Fred Armisen’s Uncle Fester will appear, although his reported spin off hasn’t recently received an update. Emma Meyers will also be back as Enid with Hunter Doohan as Tyler.
Early on, Lady Gaga was revealed to have a role this season, although its understood to be a smaller role (Mother Monster is busy, after all). Other newcomers include Steve Buscemi (as the new Nevermore Academy principal), Thandiwe Newton (as Dr. Fairburn), Billie Piper (as Capri), and Joanna Lumley (as Grandmama). Owen Painter, Noah Taylor, and Evie Templeton also join the series, along with… Anthony Michael Hall? Yes. He’s on a roll after his Reacher role.
Cast departures include Percy Hynes White as Xavier Thorpe, and it sounds like Christina Ricci is not returning as outed villain Marilyn Thornhill. Meanwhile, Gwendoline Christie suggested that Principal Weems might not be in the afterlife, but who really knows in this world?
