Shirtless Sweetheart Jason Kelce Made A Young Taylor Swift Fan’s Day With An Awesome Assist At The Chiefs Game

Music and football have long gone hand in hand, ever since the annual Super Bowl Halftime Show became a cultural phenomenon. The relationship between the two entertainment pillars entered a different level this year, though, when Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce started their relationship. This got Swifties tuning into Kelce’s NFL games, introducing a whole new audience to the sport.

Well, Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs beat the Buffalo Bills yesterday (January 21) to advance to the AFC championship (the final round before the Super Bowl). For Swifties, perhaps the biggest moment of the game happened in the stands, courtesy of Travis’ brother, fellow NFL favorite Jason Kelce.

Jason, whose Philadelphia Eagles aren’t in playoff contention, was at the game and he had himself a hell of a time, going shirtless after Travis scored a touchdown. He was in the same viewing box as Swift, at at one point during the game, he spotted a sign a young fan had made for Swift. So, he climbed out of the box’s window and told the girl he was going to help her show the sign to Swift. So, he picked her up and brought her to the box so Swift could see the sign.

Ultimately, it was yet another moment that shows why it was so easy for Swifties to fall in love with the Kelce brothers.

Pauly Shore’s Controversial Short Film Where He Plays Richard Simmons Is Out Now

Via YouTube

There needs to be a movie about Pauly Shore‘s Richard Simmons movie.

Last week, Simmons distanced himself from The Court Jester, a short film starring The Weasel as the Sweatin’ to the Oldies fitness guru. “We’re told Pauly and Richard’s team spoke last year about PS portraying him in a film,” TMZ reported, “but Richard’s people told the comedian the timing wasn’t right for Richard to get on board.” Well, The Court Jester screened at the Sundance Film Festival this weekend, and Shore claims Simmons came around.

He began by telling the crowd Richard texted him earlier in the day, wishing him “good luck” with the screening. The audience gave its rousing approval. It’s a total about-face… just a few days ago, Richard wrote on Facebook, “You may have heard they may be doing a movie about me with Pauly Shore. I have never given my permission for this movie. So don’t believe everything you read.”

Shore told Variety that The Court Jester isn’t making fun of Simmons, it comes from “love. It’s never been vindictive. I’m not Borat. I’m not ‘let’s make fun of someone.’ It’s the opposite. At this point, it’s an unauthorized biopic and they’re made every day. Yes, I want him to put his pixie dust on this and say, ‘Go for it, Pauly.’ It’s Richard being Richard. It’s sensitive. We don’t want to bug him. We want him to be left alone and we don’t want to bug him.” He added, “Who’s going to play Richard Simmons? Leonardo DiCaprio is not going to play Richard Simmons. I look like him.”

OK, but if Leo wanted to recreate the time Simmons was on Whose Line Is It Anyway, it would somehow win an Oscar and an Emmy.

Dolly Parton celebrated her 78th birthday on January 19, so to celebrate, the Grand Ole Opry hosted a tribute concert, dubbed “Opry Goes Dolly,” at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium for that night. When it came time for Elle King to take the stage, though, trouble ensued.

As Consequence notes, things when wrong with King attempted to cover Parton’s “Marry Me.” She told the audience, “I don’t know the lyrics to these things in this f*cking town, Don’t tell Dolly ‘cause it’s her birthday.” She also said, “I’m not even gonna f*cking lie… y’all bought tickets for this sh*t, you ain’t getting your money back. And I’m gonna tell you one thing more: Hi, my name is Elle King, I’m f*cking hammered.”

Many #CountryMusic fans are upset after #ElleKing appeared inebriated at an Opry Goes Dolly event taking place at the Ryman this weekend. King told the crowd she was drunk before slurring her speech and forgetting the words to Parton’s classic “Marry Me” mid performance. Some fans are concerned. Others feel she disrespected the queen of country. What do you think? #greenscreen#dollyparton#oprygoesdolly

Some attendees took to social media to complain. In response to an Opry tweet about Lauren Alaina being unable to perform as scheduled, a user named Judas wrote, “I wish she would’ve been there because Elle King ruined the night with her horrible, drunk, and profane performance. Dolly Parton would’ve been mortified. For our first time at The Opry, it was a shame we all had to witness that.” The Opry responded, “Hi Judas, we deeply regret and apologize for the language that was used during last night’s second Opry performance.”

King has yet to publicly address the situation.

“It’s hard to really put into words how special this is, how unprecedented this is to make history once again as the first woman of color to be on the cover of 2K,” Belair told Uproxx Sports. “It’s an amazing accomplishment. And to be doing it alongside Rhea Ripley is even more special.

“Rhea Ripley and I came in together around the same time at NXT, and I feel like we’re both doing amazing things on the opposite side of the mountain in WWE right now. We’re the forefront of a new generation of women’s wrestling, so to do it alongside Rhea makes it even more special. It’s hard to put into words, like you’re one of the faces of the women’s division, and I remember seeing Becky Lynch on the cover and thinking, ‘Wow, that’s a huge accomplishment.’ Just having my name in the same conversation as hers as being one of the women that have been able to grace this cover is amazing.”

This year’s version celebrates the 40th anniversary of its most prominent premium live event with the Forty Years of WrestleMania Edition, featuring original artwork celebrating iconic Superstars and Legends, including The Rock, The Undertaker, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, and more. Showcase mode will also feature a WrestleMania tilt, putting players in control and playing the iconic moments throughout WrestleMania history.

“I’ve been known to keep a checklist of key milestones I want to experience on the path to finishing my story,” Rhodes said in a statement. “As an avid gamer, being named WWE 2K cover Superstar is very, very close to the top of that list and I’m very happy to work with the teams at 2K and Visual Concepts to bring that dream to life.”

All editions of WWE 2K24 are expected to be released in March.

The Bills Game-Tying FG Attempt Blew Wide Right Giving The Chiefs A Win In Buffalo

bills field goal miss
CBS

The Kansas City Chiefs will continue their title defense in Baltimore next Sunday afternoon after handing the Bills their latest playoff heartbreak on Sunday night in Buffalo.

It was an instant classic that saw the two teams hit big plays, trade blows, and make some critical mistakes that left the outcome in doubt all the way into the final two minutes. The fourth quarter began with a wild sequence that saw a failed fake punt by Buffalo hand the Chiefs a golden opportunity to go up two scores, but Kansas City turned around and gave the ball right back on a Mecole Hardman fumble through the end zone at the goal line.

The two teams would trade punts after that and Buffalo came out with just under nine minutes on the clock looking to march down the field for a go-ahead or game-tying score. The first play of that drive saw Stefon Diggs drop an absolutely outrageous deep ball from Josh Allen that would’ve put them in scoring territory immediately.

After failing to hit the big play, Buffalo had to embark on a long, methodical march that included a third down Josh Allen fumble that somehow ended up back with the Bills and a fourth down conversion to keep their hopes of an AFC title game appearance alive.

They would work the ball inside the 30, but couldn’t connect any further, forcing them to trot Tyler Bass out for a field goal that was much more than a chip shot in windy conditions. Sure enough, Bass sliced the kick wide right, with the wind shoving it well wide of the upright to offer another gut punch to the Buffalo faithful.

On the other side of the despair of Bills fans was a very excited Patrick Mahomes, who didn’t need to do anything but get one first down to end the game.

A pair of Isiah Pacheco runs got them that first down, exhausting Buffalo’s timeouts and allowed Kansas City to kneel out a win in Patrick Mahomes’ first ever true road playoff game, setting up his second in Baltimore next week.

Mecole Hardman Fumbled Through The End Zone After A Disastrous Bills Fake Punt To Keep Buffalo Alive

mecole hardman
CBS

The Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs produced another instant classic in their latest playoff meeting, this time in Buffalo where the two teams traded blows all night leading to a tense fourth quarter. Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes were magnificent, and it felt like the kind of game where a mistake (or big play) made by someone other than the two QBs might decide it all.

In the early going of the fourth quarter we got one such mistake from each team to negate each other. The first came from the Bills, which ran a fake punt from inside their own 30 while down 27-24 after the Chiefs sent out just 10 men for the punt return. Damar Hamlin took a direct snap and tried to run to the left but was stuffed, giving Kansas City the ball in scoring territory immediately.

Isiah Pacheco would immediately break off a big run to put the Chiefs into a goal-to-go situation and it seemed like the Chiefs would take control with a 10-point lead in the fourth quarter. Instead, Kansas City ran a jet sweep to Mecole Hardman, who tried to roll and stretch out for the goal line as he got brought down and had the ball punched out, fumbling through the end zone for a touchback giving the Bills new life.

Buffalo would go three-and-out from there and actually punted the ball back to Kansas City this time, meaning in the end that insane minute of football meant nothing to the outcome but gave fans of both teams reason to want to break their TVs.

A Shirtless Jason Kelce Was Fired Up For Travis’ Touchdown Catch In Buffalo

be9bea2ecdb4ecfe8d7ab1789aeeb695.jpg

Travis Kelce hasn’t been a major focal point of the Chiefs offense in recent weeks, as the star tight end had a few drops in the Wild Card round and has averaged just 53 yards per game over his last 10 coming into Sunday night’s AFC Divisional Round matchup with the Bills in Buffalo.

It was clear early that the Chiefs were determined to get him involved early and often against the Bills, as he had three targets and two catches for 44 yards in the early going, as Andy Reid moved him around in different formations to try and create some space for him. Down 10-6 in the second quarter, the Chiefs marched into the red zone and Patrick Mahomes found his longtime favorite target running wide open up the left side of the field, as the Bills had a coverage bust on the worst possible person on the Kansas City offense.

After strolling into the end zone, Kelce launched the ball into the Buffalo crowd and made a heart towards Taylor Swift in the suite up above where the celebration was hitting high gear. While Swift and company were hugging and jumping up and down, Jason Kelce had a bit more demonstrative celebration in store for his brother’s TD, as the Eagles (maybe soon to be retired) center had his shirt off in the Buffalo cold, beer in hand, yelling into the Buffalo night — and hopping out of the window into the Bills crowd.

There aren’t many worse guys to leave wide open than Travis Kelce, as he’s one of the only reliable receivers on Kansas City’s roster and is the guy Mahomes is always looking for. The Bills will need to tighten that up, or we’ll keep getting cuts to the Kelce/Swift suite from CBS all night for updates on Taylor and Jason.

The Lions Sealed A Spot In The NFC Title Game By Picking Off Baker Mayfield In The Fourth Quarter

derrick barnes detroit lions
NBC

The Detroit Lions are headed to the NFC Championship Game for the first time in over 30 years after beating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday afternoon in Detroit, holding on for a 31-23 win.

The Lions never trailed in the game, but their first three scores were each answered by the Bucs, as Baker Mayfield and company were able to tie the game three different times in the first three quarters. However, the Lions finally opened things up in the fourth quarter, first thanks to a long rushing touchdown by Jahmyr Gibbs, followed by a dime from Jared Goff to Amon-Ra St. Brown.

However, the Bucs were able to make things a little interesting late, as Mayfield led a long touchdown drive, finding Mike Evans in the end zone to pull back within one score.

After failing on a two-point conversion to make it a 6-point game, the Bucs got the stop they needed as the Lions offense stalled out at midfield and had to punt the ball back to Tampa with two minutes to play. However, on the second play of the last gasp drive to force overtime, Mayfield’s propensity for turnovers showed up at the worst possible time, throwing a dreadful interception to Derrick Barnes to send Ford Field into a frenzy.

The Lions took knees from there and set up a trip out west to face the San Francisco 49ers next Sunday for the NFC Championship Game, where they’ll look to continue one of the best seasons in franchise history.

Lady Gaga’s Former Dancer Alleges They Suffered ‘Permanent’ Hearing Loss After Touring With The Singer

Before Lady Gaga captivated hearts on the big screen, she was a global pop star. Nowadays, the “Shallow” singer’s time as a fully-fledged musician seems far behind her. Unfortunately, one of Gaga’s former dancers supposedly has a bitter reminder of their time working together.

On January 20, in a series of videos shared on their official Instagram page, Graham Breitenstein alleged after joining Gaga on the road for her Monsters Ball Tour, they suffered ‘permanent’ hearing loss. Between 2009 and 2011, Breitenstein reportedly traveled the world with Gaga without issue until the tour’s European wing.

“While I was on stage, I believe I was in Germany or France, I had an experience on stage where my left ear all of a sudden it sounded like the crowd was in my ear the whole time,” he said. “We didn’t have in-ears at this time. So it was just raw ears in all these arenas.”

After seeking medical attention, Breitenstein learned that they had unrepairable damage. “I found out that I had lost 70 percent of hearing in my left ear and that it was permanent,” he said. “It could have been reversed if it was treated in the first two weeks of the onset with a direct shot of steroids. But we were six weeks [in], and it was too late. I would have to live the rest of my life with 30 percent of hearing in my left ear and full hearing in my right ear. So to say that I was devastated … is an understatement.”

Under the advisement of his family, Breitenstein claims he filed for worker’s compensation, providing his medical records to Live Nation (a financial supporter of the tour), but was reportedly denied.

According to Breitenstein, they hoped by coming forward, their story would serve “As a resource for other dancers that wanna perform at a high level.”

Watch Graham Breitenstein’s videos below.

Lady Gaga nor Live Nation have issued a statement regarding Breitenstein’s claims.
