Lil Nas X Sends You To Heaven Or Hell With A Hilarious New Game He Made That You Can Play On X/Twitter

YouTube

It looks like Lil Nas X is revving up for a big 2024. He recently launched a website that asks users to “save” him from Satanism (it’s all a big joke, of course). Now he’s continuing down that thematic path with a new interactive game he made on X (formerly Twitter), dubbed “Heaven Or Hell.”

The rapper announced it yesterday (December 26), tweeting, “HEY YALL I JUST MADE A GAME! GO PLAY RIGHT NOW! LET ME KNOW IF YOU MAKE IT TO HEAVEN!”

That tweet shares a tweet from the game’s X account, @HeavenOrHellOnX. The tweet is the start of the game and it reads, “Welcome to Heaven or Hell! The interactive twitter game where you have a chance to make it into heaven…. or hell! Will you fly high with the angels and party with god or will you suck satans d*ck and bunk with hitler?”

Subsequent tweets kick off the choose-your-own-adventure game, with your first choice being to pick your gender. The options are boy, girl, or other, and (one minor spoiler to illustrate the nature of the game) if you choose “other,” the result is, “No no no god is pretty clear on that stuff [heart emojis]. Game Over! You’re going to hell.”

There are plenty of other paths to go down, so check out the game above.

Mariah Carey Has The Final No. 1 Single Of 2023 As ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ Is On Top Again

Every week, Billboard unveils the top 10 songs on the latest Hot 100 chart. The most recent rankings, for the chart dated December 30, are out now, so let’s run down who had this week’s biggest hits.

10. The Ronettes — “Sleigh Ride”

The Ronettes were No. 8 last week, and while they’re down to No. 10 this time, they now have a stretch of 60 years, three months, and one week between their first and most recent top-10 song (“Be My Baby” peaked at No. 2 in September 1964).

9. José Feliciano — “Feliz Navidad”

Feliciano’s 1970 classic reached a No. 6 high during the 2020 holiday season, and while it hasn’t had quite as much success this year, it still managed to crack the top 10 before 2023 ends.

8. Dean Martin — “Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow!”

Martin’s snowy tune previously peaked at No. 8 during the 2020 holiday season, and now it has returned to that high mark.

7. Andy Williams — “It’s The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year”

Williams gets comfortable at No. 7, where he was last week and which is a couple spots off the song’s all-time high at No. 5.

6. Jack Harlow — “Lovin On Me”

Harlow has the lone non-holiday hit in this week’s top 10, and it even managed to beat out some Christmas classics and nearly crack the top 5.

5. Burl Ives — “A Holly Jolly Christmas”

This week’s top 5 is the same as last week’s, starting with “A Holly Jolly Christmas” bringing up the rear.

4. Wham! — “Last Christmas”

“Last Christmas” is No. 4 in the US, but it recently had a bigger achievement in the UK, becoming the Christmas No. 1 single for the first time ever.

3. Bobby Helms — “Jingle Bell Rock”

Helms’ “Jingle Bell Rock” has once again matched its all-time high at No. 3.

2. Brenda Lee — “Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree”

After spending some time at No. 1 earlier this month, “Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree” once again earns the silver medal this week.

1. Mariah Carey — “All I Want For Christmas Is You”

This is the 14th total week at No. 1 for “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” and it gives Carey a record-extending 93rd total week at No. 1 for her career. That’s not a close contest, by the way: Second on that rank is Rihanna with 60 weeks.

Since this is the year’s last chart, Carey officially has the final No. 1 single of 2023.

Mariah Carey and Bryan Tanaka have officially called it quits, according to Tanaka. The background dancer, who was in a relationship with Carey for seven years, confirmed the news via his personal Instagram page.

“Dear friends and fans, with mixed emotions, I share this personal update regarding my amicable separation from Mariah Carey after seven extraordinary years together,” Tanaka said. “Our decision to embark on different paths is mutual, and as we navigate these separate journeys, we do so with profound respect and an overwhelming sense of gratitude for the invaluable time we’ve shared. The memories we’ve created and the artistic collaborations are etched in my heart forever.”

Carey first confirmed her relationship with Tanaka back in 2017, following her split from her ex-fiancé, Australian businessman James Packer. But according to Billboard, the two had been working together since 2006, when he joined her on her Adventures Of Mimi Tour.

Thankfully, it appears the two remain on good terms.

“Mariah’s dedication to her family and her commitment to her craft have inspired us during out journey,” Tanaka continued in his statement. “I want to express my love and appreciation for Mariah and her incredible children, whose warmth and kindness have enriched my life in ways words cannot capture.”

Pistons Fans Chanted ‘Sell The Team’ Following Detroit’s 27th Loss In A Row, A Single-Season Record

Despite a monster night from Cade Cunningham, and despite the fact that the Brooklyn Nets on a three-game road losing streak, and despite the fact that it is incredibly hard to lose this many basketball games in a row, the Detroit Pistons set an NBA single-season record by losing their 27th game in a row on Tuesday night. Despite getting awfully close and even leading in the fourth quarter, Detroit fell 118-112 on the evening, moving them to 2-28 on the regular season.

Unsurprisingly, the Pistons fans at Little Caesars Arena were not happy to see the team lose yet again, and down the home stretch, those in attendance made clear that they want new ownership as soon as possible.

While Detroit lost, there was a bright spot in the play of its former No. 1 overall pick. While Cunningham has had an up-and-down campaign for a myriad of reasons, he legitimately looked like the kind of guy the Pistons can build around going forward. He was magnificent, going for 41 points on 15-for-21 shooting with nine rebounds, five assists, one steal, and one block in 37 minutes of action.

While the Pistons now have the single-season record for losses in a row, they haven’t quite reached the longest losing streak in league history. That mark goes to the Philadelphia 76ers, which lost 10 straight games to close out the 2014-15 season before losing 18 consecutive contests to begin 2015-16. If Detroit wants to avoid that fate, it will need to pick up a win on Thursday night in Boston or defend its home court on Sunday evening against Toronto.

Lil Nas X Teased His New Era With A Hilarious Parody Site Calling To ‘Save’ Him From Satantism

A new era of Lil Nas X may soon be upon us. Earlier this month, the “Industry Baby” hitmaker took to social media to tease his “Christian era.” Today (December 26), it appears a new website is signifying that new Lil Nas X music may be arriving sooner than we think.

A website called SaveNasX.com appeared in cyberspace today. On the website is a clock showing the number of days that have passed since his debut album Montero dropped in 2021. The site also seems to call back to the Montero era, when he was accused of practicing satanism.

In the video for Lil Nas X‘s “Montero (Call Me By Your Name),” the pop star is seen dancing in hell and giving the devil a lapdance. The website, which is designed to parody those of Christian conspiracy theorists, calls for Lil Nas X to be “saved” and to repent and seek God.

“Has the DEVIL-WORSHIPPING pop-artist finally been sacrificed to HIS MASTER?,” reads a blurb on his site. “WHY is he SECLUDING HIMSELF???? What is he PREPARING FOR? This site will answer ALL THESE QUESTIONS AND MORE!!!… We will find Montero, and WE WILL SAVE HIM BY RETURNING HIS HEART TO J.CHRIST’S LIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Also on the website is a form where fans can register to “save” Lil Nas X (or, receive updates from his newsletter).

At the bottom of the site is a copyright sticker from Sony Music Entertainment, indicating that the site is run by Lil Nas X’s official camp.

Jay-Z has always shown love to his hometown of New York City. And now, his city is showing him love back. The rapper’s birthday is December 4, and soon, New York may turn this day into an annual holiday.

The news has arrived by legislation first introduced by Council Member Farah Louis — and co-sponsored by Combat Jack’s son, Chi Ossé, alongside Kevin C. Riley, Crystal Hudson, and Jennifer Gutiérrez.

“The global phenomenon that is Jay-Z, born Shawn Carter, is widely known as an artist, mogul, husband and father, wealth builder, and supportive economic development and community causes,” Louis said in the resolution meeting, according to the hearing notes. “Both his career and success have spanned decades. The accolades for Mr. Carter are filling museums, magazines, and libraries. TV shows and radio programs clamor to provide content dedicated to his masterful work that has inspired many. December 4th, as Jay-Z Day, announces to the world how this Brooklyn son can be all things including loved by his community.”

The resolution has since been sent to the Committee on Cultural Affairs, Libraries, and International Intergroup Relations. From there, it has been filed officially with the City Council, and will be discussed in the council’s 2024 session, which will begin on January 3, 2024.

Back in July, Jay was honored with the special The Book Of Hov exhibition at the Brooklyn Public Library. The exhibition featured photographs of Hov, as well as vinyl recordings and special anecdotes.

It appears Cardi B and Offset managed to put their differences aside for the holidays. Earlier this month, Cardi revealed that she and Offset had split a while ago. But despite the rocky split, the two appeared to spend Christmas together, as evidenced by posts shared to Cardi’s Instagram account.

In the video clips, Offset and Cardi are seen opening gifts with their children and family members. While the news of the split is still fresh, both Cardi and Offset seemed to be in good spirits.

While break-ups are never easy, Cardi isn’t letting her and Offset’s split keep her down. During a recent Instagram Live, Cardi shared that she is using this difficult time as motivation to step up her pen game.

“I want to start 2024 fresh, open,” she said. “I’m curious for a new life, for a new beginning. And yeah, I’m excited! New look, new life, new everything…I’ve been going so hard for 2024 to go directly as I want it to. I feel like in 2017 I was single, and that’s when I worked the hardest.”

Taraji P. Henson Got Rid Of Her Entire Team After They Failed To Find A Strong Follow-Up To ‘Empire’: ‘You’re All F*ckin’ Fired’

ffEMP-S2_212-sc11.12-ch_0370_f_hires1

Taraji P. Henson was already a big deal before she nabbed Empire. Heck, she even already had an Oscar nomination. But it was playing Loretta “Cookie” Lyon that catapulted her into the rafters. Since the show wrapped in 2020, she’s done plenty of strong work, including playing nightclub performer Shug Avery in the new musical movie version of The Color Purple. But she could have had more post-Cookie, for which she blamed her (former) employees.

Per Deadline, in a recent sitdown with the SAG-AFTRA Foundation, the Golden Globe-winning actress was asked to name the best business decision she’s made thus far. She didn’t have to think too hard.

“Firing everybody after Cookie,” Henson replied. “Everybody had to f*ckin’ go. Where is my deal? Where’s my commercial? Cookie was at the top of the fashion game. Where is my endorsement? What did you have set up for after this? That’s why you all haven’t seen me in so long. They had nothing set up.”

Henson said the best her previous employees could come up with was her doing another Cookie-type character, which she he wasn’t against:

“All they wanted was another Cookie show, and I said, ‘I’ll do it, but it has to be right. The people deserve, she’s too beloved for y’all to f—k it up.’ And so, when they didn’t get it right, I was like, ‘Well, that’s it,’ and they had nothing else. ‘You’re all f*ckin’ fired.”

Henson may be extremely successful, but that doesn’t have problems with the industry. Indeed, earlier this month she unloaded to Gayle King about how she never seems to make any progress in terms of projects or pay worthy of her abilities.

“I’m just tired of working so hard, being gracious at what I do, getting paid a fraction of the cost,” Henson said after taking a long pause and breaking down. “I’m tired of hearing my sisters say the same thing over and over. You get tired. I hear people go, ‘You work a lot.’ I have to. The math ain’t math-ing. And you start working a lot, you have a team. Big bills come with what we do. We don’t do this alone. It’s a whole team behind us. They have to get paid.”

Music legend Mariah Carey has several No. 1 hits to her credit — 19, to be exact. But one song of hers has proven to stand the test of time. Each year, Carey’s 1994 classic “All I Want For Christmas Is You” surges in popularity around the holiday season. The song has proven to be a holiday standard over the 29 years since its original release, and each year, the song seems to break more and more records. This Christmas Eve, the song accomplished yet another milestone.

How many streams did Mariah Carey’s ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ have on Christmas Eve?

According to TMZ, “All I Want For Christmas Is You” was reportedly streamed 23,701,697 times this Christmas Eve. This remarkable feat apparently breaks the record for most Spotify streams in a single day on Christmas Eve.

Last year, Carey broke the record on Christmas Eve when the song was streamed 21,273,357 times.

Additionally, the song reached No. 1 on this week’s Billboard Hot 100, marking the song’s 14th non-consecutive week at the top of the chart.

While this holiday season is wrapping up, Carey took to Instagram to express her gratitude, and teased more looks to come throughout the week.

“Even though it is December 26, Christmas never ends for me (ha ha!),” she said in the post’s caption, “and I will keep sharing some of our festive moments from the past week with you!”
