The Milwaukee Bucks are on their way to Las Vegas. Milwaukee hosted the New York Knicks during an In-Season Tournament quarterfinal tilt on Tuesday night, and thanks to an absolutely dominant performance on the offensive end of the floor, the Bucks cruised to a 146-122 win to set up a matchup with the Indiana Pacers a little later this week.

As is oftentimes the case when the Bucks do something good, Giannis Antetokounmpo had himself a game. The former NBA MVP went for 35 points, 10 assists, eight rebounds, and three steals in 34 minutes of work against New York’s frontcourt, and after the game, he learned something that made him pretty happy: He’s got a nice chunk of change going his way because of his team’s success.

It’s unclear if Antetokounmpo was unsure about all of the prize money that teams get in the In-Season Tournament or if he only thought he would get paid for winning the whole thing. As an incentive for the new event, the NBA will give players $50,000 for making the quarters, $100,000 for making the semis, $200,000 for making the final, and $500,000 if they are on the team that wins the whole thing.

Regardless, Giannis now has some money this way, and while we don’t know what he’s going to do with the extra cash, we do know one thing: where he’s putting that money if he hits the roulette table.

Best of luck to Giannis Antetokounmpo if he plays roulette in Las Vegas while he’s there.

Singer Brenda Lee has achieved some remarkable feats. Earlier this week, her American Christmas standard “Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree” reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, more than 65 years after its original release. At 78 years old, Lee is the oldest artist to ever top the Billboard Hot 100. While Lee is likely most known for “Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree,” the artist has quite an impressive resume.

Who is country singer Brenda Lee?

Lee grew up between Augusta and Atlanta, Georgia, where she performed solos on Sundays within the Baptist church, as she notes in her 2002 autobiography Little Miss Dynamite: The Life And Times Of Brenda Lee

In her autobiography, she also shares that she won her school’s talent show performing “Take Me Out To The Ball Game” when she was five years old, which led to appearances on local radio and television shows.

She came to mass fame at 11 years old, with her debut single, “Jambalaya.” While she started of as a country singer, she was later marketed as a pop artist. She would release “Rockin’ Around The Christmas in 1958, when she was 13 years old. In 1969, she would make a return to country sounds with her single, “Johnny One Time.”

Lee was inducted into the Country Music Hall Of Fame in 1997 and the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 2002.

To her credit, Lee has 29 studio albums, her most recent one, Gospel Duets With Treasured Friends, released in 2007.

Still, “Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree” continues to stand the test of time, as she only released its official music video — starring Tanya Tucker and Trisha Yearwood — last month.

Kilby Block Party is set to return to Salt Lake City next year for its 25th iteration. Announced today (December 5), the Kilby Block Party’s 2024 festival boasts an incredible line-up of acts representing various genres and generations.

Kilby Block Party 2024 will take place from May 10-12 at the Utah State Park. Headlining the festival are LCD Soundsystem, The Postal Service, Wu-Tang Clan, Vampire Weekend, and Death Cab For Cutie. Also on the bill are Jai Paul, Courtney Barnett, 100 Gecs, and more. According to Salt Lake City’s ABC4, two more acts will be announced in the near future.

According to a press release, the 2023 festival welcomed over 25,000 fans from all over the world, from 50 U.S. states and over 15 different countries. The upcoming festival aims to elevate the festival experience to new heights” and bring an “eclectic lineup that spans genres and generations, from established headliners to exciting emerging talent.”

Tickets for Kilby Block Party 2024 will go on sale beginning December 6 at 10 a.m. MST through the festival’s official website. Single-day passes will be available at a later date.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s presidential campaign got off to a rocky start, and it hasn’t exactly improved. Some say the conspiracy theorist, who was initially running as a Democrat, is peeling away votes from Joe Biden. Some say he’s taking them from Donald Trump. Whatever the case, it’s not been an easy one for his campaign team, who have to contend with things like him spreading some of the wackiest COVID claims out there, which is saying something. What he admitted on Fox News Tuesday night probably isn’t helping.

Per Mediaite, Kennedy went on Jesse Watters Primetime (aka Tucker Carlson’s old time slot). Earlier in the show Watters had been talking about how Senator Dick Durbin has been blocking the release of flight logs from Epstein’s private plane. Watters wound up asking Kennedy if he’d ever been on the plane, perhaps expecting the answer to be no. Alas.

“I was on Jeffrey Epstein’s jet two times,” Kennedy replied. His wife, Curb Your Enthusiasm actress Cheryl Hines, was also on it, because apparently she had “some kind of relationship with Ghislaine Maxwell,” Epstein’s accomplice, now serving time for sex trafficking minors. They flew to Palm Beach.

Another time he flew on it with his family, including, “I think, four of my children.”

It’s a big deal any time it’s revealed any prominent figure flew on Epstein’s private plane, better known as “The Lolita Express.” But Kennedy insisted it was all innocent fun:

“I have been very open about this from the beginning. This was in ’93, so it was 30 years ago. It was before anybody knew about Jeffrey Epstein’s, you know nefarious issues. And I agree with you that all of this information should be released. We should get real answers on what happened to Jeffrey Epstein and any of the high-level political people that he was involved with. All of that should be open to the public.”

Kennedy has admitted he flew with Epstein before, including last month. If anyone missed that news, he just made sure they know now.

Epstein, who (allegedly) committed suicide in his jail cell after being arrested on sex trafficking charges, had many big deal pals and associates, including at least two former presidents. One of them is running for president a third time.

R&B duo Majid Jordan kicked off their Good People Live Tour late last month. Nearly 10 years after making their breakthrough contribution to Drake’s “Hold On, We’re Going Home,” the Canadian duo has taken the world by storm.

The tour arrives just weeks after the duo released their fourth album, Good People / After Hours, which contains buzzy hits like “Eyes Closed.” With lots of fan favorites under their belt, ticketholders can expect to hear a fun setlist.

According to Setlist.fm, Majid Jordan’s Good People Live Tour contains many songs from Good People / After Hours. Additionally, fans can also expect to hear early songs from their self-titled debut, as well as their sophomore album The Space Between, and their third album Wildest Dreams.

The Good People Live Tour will continue in North America over the course of the next two weeks, with a European leg beginning early next year.

Dogs are certainly entertaining if they’re nothing else. You never know what sort of nonsense they’re going to get into while you’re away or even down the hall. Dogs have dug holes in couches to play in the foam, spread trash all over the floor because they smelled an empty peanut butter container. Some dogs have even found their way to their owner’s roofs for no apparent reason outside of getting closer to the birds.

One dog and his dog sibling were snoozing away while their owners were out. The couch one of the dogs was sleeping on had a fitted sheet or couch cover draped over it…until the dog got startled almost rolling off the couch. While the brown pooch was attempting to correct himself so he didn’t land on his back, the couch cover decided to turn the poor dog into a burrito.

He successfully got turned around in time to gently hop onto the floor but everything went black.

The dog was completed wrapped up in the blanket totally not freaking out at all. Okay, maybe he was freaking out a little bit but his brother was actually planning to rescue him…until it wigged him out too and he was left to figure it out on his own. But it didn’t take long at all for him to realize that maybe being a couch cover ghost wasn’t so bad after all. Thankfully after his quick stint as a Halloween decoration, humans walked through the door to free him. The video was shared by LADbible Australia and commenters got a good belly laugh.

“Well I haven’t laughed so hard in a long time,” one person writes.

“Bless the dog who decides to sit and patiently wait for the blanket to be removed,” a commenter says.

“The fact the dog sat and accepted its fate,” another person laughs.

Other commenters pointed out the more serious side of this common situation dogs can find themselves in. One person writes, “Well hopefully now you know that’s a danger to the pups when you leave them alone at home and don’t do it anymore.”

Another says, “Poor baby! While it’s hysterical and the baby is safe, it’s still scary to know what could have happened had their humans not arrived home so soon!”

Dogs often behave like unsupervised toddlers. They’re still trying to figure out the world with their disadvantage of non-opposable thumbs halfway up their wrists. That means that they sometimes get into hilarious but sticky situations that require human intervention. So while this video will certainly tickle funny bones, it’s also a great reminder to secure your couch covers or securely crate your pup while unsupervised.

Julianne Moore and Natalie Portman have a new movie out. It’s called May December, and it’s the latest from the ever-brilliant Todd Haynes. It’s a tricky work, loosely inspired by the case of Mary Kay Letourneau, the teacher who had sex with a 12-year-old student, gave birth to their child while awaiting sentencing, and later married him (after getting out of jail). Both actresses are predictably excellent, so why not have them do something even more challenging: re-enact some Real Housewives?

Per Entertainment Weekly, the Moore and Portman went on Watch What Happens Live, where host Andy Cohen coaxed them into playing two of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s Lisa Barlow and Monica Garcia, two cast members known for getting into fights. They get really into it, too. Dig the way Moore drags out the name “Lisa” until it has dozens, maybe hundreds of vowels.

Both Moore and Portman have an Oscar each, for Still Alice and Black Swan, respectively. But they’ve never been above parody. Moore once appeared on Billy on the Street, where she performed scenes from her movies for strangers. Portman, meanwhile, will gladly send up her personal life in rap form for SNL.

Rapper Vanilla Ice opened up about his past friendship with late rapper, Tupac Shakur. In an interview with VladTV, the “Ice Ice Baby” hitmaker recalled ‘Pac fondly, reminiscing over their friendship, and how he offered him solid advice when he was coming up.

He goes, ‘I want you to know, you’re one of the great ones, you’re dope, you’re going to leave your mark, your legacy,’ and this is before it happened,” Ice said. “He knew it, this guy had a crystal ball he saw things bro, and it makes me get goosebumps.”

But at some point, the interview took a rather somber turn. Ice later revealed that Tupac was involved in two other shootings outside of the Quad Recording Studios shooting in 1993 and the Las Vegas drive-by in 1996. While these shootings weren’t life-threatening, very few people knew about these shootings, according to Ice.

Ice also said that he has to be mindful of the details he shares about Tupac’s death, as he knows more than others.

“How can a guy have all these bullets flying at him and still, you know what I’m saying? It’s a crazy story, and I got to really watch what I say on all this because I do know too much,” Ice said. “I’m not going to elaborate fair enough, so I let that unfold, and I’m glad it’s unfolding, and I’m glad that some justice may be getting done, but it ain’t going to bring him back, bro, and we lost a great person because of greed, money, power. We lost a great poet.”
