Taylor Swift Made It Onto Drake’s ‘For All The Dogs Scary Hours Edition’ Via A Lyric That’s The Ultimate Compliment

Here in 2023, Taylor Swift has been truly inescapable, whether it was via her two new Taylor’s Version albums (Speak Now and 1989), her smash-hit The Eras Tour and accompanying theatrical concert film, or her getting to know Travis Kelce a whole lot better. Now, she’s popping up on albums she’s not even on.

Drake, who himself has also had a massive year, just dropped For All The Dogs Scary Hours Edition today and he gives Swift a shout-out on Red Button. During the song’s opening verse, he raps, “Taylor Swift the only n**** that I ever rated / Only one could make me drop the album just a little later / Rest of y’all, I treat you like you never made it.”

The lyric is all praise for Swift, with Drake showing his respect for her impact and success by suggesting he’d push back an album release if she had a project coming out the same week, in order to avoid competition with her and give himself a better chance at chart success.

Meanwhile, just a few lines later, he also shares some less glowing thoughts about Kanye West: “Every time you need me for a boost, I never hesitated / Every time that Yeezy called a truce, he had my head inflated / Thinkin’ we gon’ finally peace it up and get to levitatin’ / Realize that everything premeditated.”

Drake and J. Cole are keeping the hype going for their upcoming It’s All A Blur — Big As The What? Tour. The Doctor Who Gave George Santos His Botox Injections Once Had His Medical License Suspended For Performing Improper Penile Implants And Is One Of Yelp’s ‘Worst Rated Plastic Surgeons’

George Santos Trump Arrest Rally New York
Getty Image

In one of the funniest but yet predictable news stories of 2023, on Thursday the world learned that shady GOP congressman/prolific swindler George Santos used campaign contributions to pay for OnlyFans subscriptions, Botox, Sephora goods, and a lot more that campaign funds should not be used for. Soon after this news was released, Santos announced that he would not seek reelection, which is probably wise what with the prison of it all.

A few hours after this news broke, journalist Marisa Kabas published a post on her Substack page about the doctor who performed the Botox injections on Santos. Turns out, Santos’ Botox guy is almost as shady as he is. Almost.

After digging into the House Ethics Committee’s report on Santos’ shady campaign contribution spending (what a wild week in Congress!), Kabas learned that an outfit named Mirza Aesthetics was paid to perform the injections, and Mirza Aesthetics is owned and operated by Dr. Muhammad Mirza. Kabas then did some digging.

She writes:

Mirza’s bio shows no reference to dermatology or aesthetic certification of any kind, but he’s absolutely been performing these procedures. Back in 2019, he sued four Yelp reviewers who claimed to have received his Botox services and gave him a one star review. Reviewers accused him of “pre-loading Botox into the syringes so he can dilute it, of injecting people in shady locations, of pushing more product on patients and of generally being a scam artist.”

Similar to his cardiovascular business, patients said his Botox business was primarily mobile. He “works out of gym bags in some back end storage room that was sketchy and dirty. Felt like we were filming a porno,” one reviewer wrote.

Further, Dr. Mirza apparently had his medical license suspended in 2021 for performing improper penile and breast enhancements.

Reports NJ.com:

State authorities say he traveled to dozens of rented locations throughout New Jersey and neighboring states performing “invasive aesthetic procedures with inadequate formal training and little regard for the health and safety of his patients,” Acting state Attorney General Andrew J. Bruck announced Tuesday.

The doctor would see up to 30 patients a day in “makeshift spaces with substandard protocols for medical recordkeeping, patient follow-up, and storage of medical supplies, including products that require refrigeration and strict temperature control,” Bruck added…In one case, he used an injectable dermal filler in a nonsurgical penile enhancement procedure that caused permanent harm to a patient who suffered complications that required his hospitalization, where he underwent two emergency surgical interventions, the Attorney General’s Office alleges.

As icing on the cake, Habas reports that earlier this year “Mirza pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit health care fraud in New Jersey for engaging ‘in a scheme to bill the Amtrak health care plan for fraudulent claims for services that either were never provided or were medically unnecessary.’”

It’s kind of poetic that George Santos managed to find the George Santos of doctors to perform his Botox injections, if they were even Botox injections and not, you know, something else one would not want to have performed by a dude in a van who apparently carries around his products in gym bags.

Coincidentally, Vice did a video profile of Dr. Mirza back in 2019 for its “One Star Reviews” series and it does not disappoint. You can watch it below.

‘The Golden Bachelor’ Season 1, Episode 8 Recap: Overnights, Over Heights

The Golden Bachelor Recap
ABC

This week’s installment of The Golden Bachelor marks another pivotal moment in Gerry Turner’s journey to find true love … again. Will it be Leslie, the vivacious dance instructor with an aversion to leather, a love of stale cookies, and the most fascinating dating history of any BachelorNation member yet (she once hooked up with Prince, in case you forgot)? Or will it be Theresa, the New Jersey widow who may have mastered the art of the humble brag but has yet to receive a declaration of love from the Midwestern hunk who stole her heart during a dangerous night drive on the California freeway?

We don’t get the answer tonight but the disappointment is short-lived because, unbeknownst to us, The Golden Bachelor is asking an even more important, oft-ignored question with stakes that go beyond reality TV. Do old people f*ck? We’re about to find out.

Here are the winners and losers of tonight’s fantasy suites episode.

Winner – TLC’s Chasing Waterfalls

TLC’s “Chasing Waterfalls” is a winner for two reasons tonight. First and foremost, the song simply slaps. But despite the lyrical stylings of Chili, T-Bone, and Left Eye warning us against getting too close to these watery natural wonders, chasing waterfalls just happens to be a desperately romantic adventure if you’re two senior citizens searching for a deeper connection in the wild jungles of Costa Rica. Gerry and Leslie test the limits of their aging bodies – and Leslie’s phobia of heights – by rappelling down the side of a 170 ft waterfall before letting their endorphins settle in a swimming pool at its base. The rocks were slippery, but was anything else? We’d have to wait for the overnight date to find out. Still, nothing brings people together quite as quickly (and dramatically) as a death-defying plunge and the threat of a broken hip.

Loser – Horses

You’ll never be able to convince us that it wasn’t Faith’s unhinged equine pets (and not her overbearing children) that ruined her chances with Gerry and now, these oversized donkeys have struck again. After an intense overnight stay with Leslie, Gerry struggled to compartmentalize his feelings for both women during Theresa’s one-on-one date. He was so torn that he spent most of their ride through the jungle more focused on his horse than his potential spouse. Theresa managed to break the tension, but only after she demanded they dismount those trotting c*ckblocks and talk to each other face to face.

Winner – Thermostats

Gerry’s shock when he discovered that even a multi-star resort cushy enough to warrant a reality TV feature was so frugal it set all of its rooms to a sweltering 80 degrees might have been his most relatable moment on the show thus far. It was only topped by Leslie’s sex joke, which managed to display her knack for comedic timing and her scientifically sound take on ideal room temperatures.

Loser – Viagra

It’s not that we wanted to see (or hear) Gerry knocking boots with either of the women during their fantasy suite dates – this isn’t Bachelor in Paradise people – but if The Golden Bachelor really wanted to give an authentic look at later-age dating, they would’ve done better when it comes to product placement. Maybe a quick pan to a bottle of Viagra on Gerry’s nightstand, a peek at a tube of organic lube in Leslie’s overnight bag. Something that said, “Yeah, we’re horny, but we’re also old enough to understand how biology works.”

Winner – The Stock Market

During their romantic dinner date, Gerry confesses to Theresa that he has absolutely no idea what she does for a living. While he’s been enjoying retired life, Theresa’s been teaching herself how to invest and trade in stocks in order to pay for her healthcare. (Just further proof for the ladies out there that even in old age, the patriarchy still manages to f*ck one over.) Not only does her business acumen and competitive drive impress the guy whose post-retirement dream seems to be living on a lake with his dog and driving vintage Ford Broncos, but it also gets him so excited he decides to invite her for an overnight stay as well. Which begs the question, has Gerry been a golddigger this whole time?

Loser – Theresa’s Morning After

Despite a magical evening of … conversation, when Gerry and Theresa wake up in bed together the morning after their fantasy suite date, she still doesn’t get that hoped-for “I love you.” Instead, we’re meant to believe he uttered his true feelings to Theresa sometime in the night once the cameras were turned off. His only confirmation in the unforgiving light of day was a pretty pathetic “You know.” Theresa girl, run.

BIBI And Becky G Pull Off A Seductive Heist In Their Action-Packed ‘Amigos’ Video

Worlds are colliding on this steamy new collaboration. Tonight (November 17), Latin music superstar Becky G has teamed up with K-Pop sensation BIBI for their new single, “Amigos.”

While the two each have men in their lives, they just can’t shake off their past lovers. But their former flames know the drill when their beaus come around.

“I know we had a good time and that you always want more / But if my boyfriend calls, we’re just friends, nothing more,” sing the ladies in Spanish on the song’s chorus, over a punchy, percussive track.

On the track, the hip-hop influence is evident. BIBI has previously discussed her love of hip-hop in an interview with AllKPop.

“Expressing oneself through lyrics is so real and genuine,” BIBI said. “As I’m someone who wasn’t necessarily gifted with natural musical talent — I didn’t even know the difference between boom bap or trap beats until way later. I think the other factors of music organically followed as I grew as an artist.”

In the song’s accompanying video, BIBI and Becky embark on a luxurious heist. The two pay a visit to a lush resort, where they attract the attention of several men. They are latter seen running off with jewelry and stacks off cash, later driving away in a vintage car.

Reneé Rapp And Coco Jones Offer Some Spiritual Solutions For Heartache On Their ‘Tummy Hurts’ Remix

After sharing her critically-acclaimed debut album Snow Angel this past August, Reneé Rapp has shared four new songs, as part of the album’s deluxe edition. One of the new songs is a remix of a fan-favorite album cut, featuring another starlet.

Joined by Coco Jones, Rapp finds herself hurting both emotionally and physically following the dissolution of a relationship.

“Now my tummy hurts, he’s in love with her / But for what it’s worth, they’d make beautiful babies / And raise them up to be a couple of f*cking monsters like their mother and their father,” sings Rapp on the chorus of both the remix and the song’s original version.

Jones chimes in on the second verse, giving the song a little more of a soul element. And given her choice of words, it sounds like some soul is what this man needs.

“Baby, go open a Bible / ‘Cause God knows that sin is a cycle / Lied to my face, it’s your hobby / Boy, you fine as hell for a psycho / When do they pay for the cost of their choice? / Never ’cause that’s just them boy being boys,” sings Jones.

In addition to being incredible vocalists, Rapp and Jones are also both talented actresses. Jones plays the fabulous, opulent Hilary Banks on Peacock’s Bel-Air, and Rapp plays the sassy but loveable Leighton Murray on The Sex Lives Of College Girls. In January, Rapp will make her feature film debut as Regina George in the movie-musical adaptation of Mean Girls.

Tate McRae Enjoys A Dance-Filled Night Out At The Rodeo In Her ‘Exes’ Video

Tate McRae has another hit on her hands. Ahead of her upcoming second album, Think Later, McRae has shared her new single “Exes.”

On “Exes” McRae does some examination and concludes she’s better off without her exes — but she’ll always have something to remember them by.

“Kisses to my exes who don’t give a sh*t about me / Kisses, kisses to the next ones who think they can live without me / We make up, then we break up, then they swear they’ll never call me / But I still keep their number and their necklace, kisses to my exes,” sings McRae on the song’s chorus.

According to McRae, the song came rather quickly

“We wrote ‘Exes’ on the last day of the album-making process,” she said in a statement. “It was kind of like the last hurrah that Ryan Tedder and I wrote in legitimately 30 minutes. It talks about my flaws in a relationship, and some of my self-deprecating and self-sabotaging tendencies.”

In the song’s accompanying video, McRae and a group of dancers discover a run-down rodeo venue, and dance the pain away with energetic moves choreographed by the one-and-only Sean Bankhead.

This weekend, McRae will make her Saturday Night Live debut as the musical guest in an episode hosted by Jason Momoa.

Think Later is out 12/8 via RCA. Find more information here.

Leslie Jones is here to stop your annoying relatives from discussing politics on Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is a time to be thankful for all of our blessings in life, and it’s also the holiday where people are most likely to argue about politics with their families at the dinner table.

Even though a recent poll found that 77% of Americans find it inappropriate to have such conversations on Thanksgiving, they’re bound to happen. The same poll found that 41% of Democrats and 29% of Republicans say they’re likely to talk about politics during dinner even though they know they shouldn’t.

For those who don’t want the holiday ruined by an argument between a Sean Hannity-loving uncle and his niece who prefers to listen to NPR, comedian Leslie Jones is willing to lend her services. Jones is currently the guest host of “The Daily Show” until producers find a permanent replacement for Trevor Noah, who left the show late last year.

In a recent sketch on “The Daily Show,” Jones says she will come to your Thanksgiving dinner to quell any political conversations that crop up.

Warning: Video contains adult humor.

In the sketch, Jones pledges to stop your dad from discussing Roe v. Wade, shut down your uncle from calling his niece a “lazy socialist” and even stop “annoying conversations before they begin,” like when a young man is preparing to try some “MAGA sh*t” during the holiday.

Jones won’t even allow your progressive brother-in-law to get away with making a land acknowledgment during grace.

The sketch is funny, but it’s also a great reminder to all of us this holiday. When things get heated over dessert on Thanksgiving, we can all tap into our inner Leslie Jones and stop the conversations before things get ugly.

Woman buys claw machine and reveals exactly why we can never win

Who among us hasn’t been lured into dropping a precious coin into a claw machine, knowing full well that we’ll never actually nab that shiny item tempting us through the glass, but compelled to take our chances all the same. For that is claw’s powerful siren song…maybe this time

But perhaps now we finally have a piece of evidence that will make our logic stronger than our impulses, thanks to one woman’s curiosity.

Melbourne based renovation expert Katie Clark recently bought herself a claw machine to go in the bar of her house, and after taking a look inside the appliance’s instruction manual, she is determined to “expose the claw machine industry.”

First off, let’s talk about the claw itself.

In a viral TikTok video, Clark shows how the instructions explain that there’s a small washer which, if removed, alters the claw’s gripping ability.

claw machine, arcade, gaming

“We all knew, but when it’s documented, it’s printed – it’s more legit. Now it’s confirmed,” she says in the clip.

But it’s not the only way the game is rigged.

In another clip, Clark also shows how the success rate of claw machines can also be drastically changed. From a win ratio of 1:1 all the way to 1 win for every 50 tries, making it next to impossible for anyone to actually get a prize…unless they’ve got a lot of time and money to spend.

claw machine, renovation

After Clark’s video began making the round on social media, several folks chimed in to confirm her claim.

“Took me 18 goes to win once,” one person wrote

“I worked at an arcade, smaller machines ‘paid out’ once they reached about 15 plays and bigger ones were 30/40 plays before you get a win,” wrote another.

One fellow Australian even shared “Years and years ago we found a claw machine with unlimited plays in Melbourne, stayed there for a full hour playing and all we got was one plushie.”

And yet, even after confirming our suspicions, Clark attests, “We’re all still gonna play it.” And she’s probably right. After all, millions of people still gamble and play the lottery every day, even though the odds aren’t exactly in their favor. Perhaps it makes that unlikely win even sweeter, knowing that you transcended probability.
