Seth Rogen has been naked in many TV shows and movies, but only once did the scene involve a dog sniffing his butt because it smelled like beef jerky.

Rogen, Nick Offerman, and Paul Dano dropped by Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday to discuss Craig Gillespie’s Gamestock biopic, Dumb Money, as well as how they met, working with Pete Davidson, and failed auditions. It’s a fun time, especially when the topic of nude scenes came up. “I’ve been naked many times on camera, mostly to comedic effect,” Rogen said. The “worst” instance was for The Interview, his 2014 comedy with James Franco and Randall Park that almost led to a nuclear holocaust. Weird times.

“There’s a scene in the film where I’ve shoved a rocket up my ass. I’m concealing it from North Korean guards and I get stripped down by the guards and they have a German Shepherd who’s supposed to… the joke is that the German Shepherd is smelling me and it smells my ass,” Rogen explained. The dog handler and a representative from PETA were on set, but the dog refused to, um, stick his nose up there until they found a solution: beef jerky.

“I end up shoving beef jerky in my ass,” he said.

Today, it was announced that Rolling Loud California will have a stacked group of headliners when it returns for 2024. Nicki Minaj, Post Malone, and Lil Uzi Vert will be the main performers for next year’s festival. As expected, fans of all the artists are now scrambling to find out how to get tickets.

Passes for Rolling Loud California 2024 will have a presale on Thursday, November 16 at 10 a.m. PT. From there, they will open for general sale this Friday, November 17 at 10 a.mm. PT.

Right now, those interested in going can enter their information to sign up for the waitlist, which would allow first access to tickets. The pass options include GA, GA+, VIP, and VIP+ — with the lowest starting at $299 for all three days.

The festival will be held on March 15 to 17 at Hollywood Park, near Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium. Other key performers on the lineup include YG & Tyga, Don Toliver, Summer Walker, Bryson Tiller, Flo Milli, Rae Sremmurd, Big Sean, NLE Choppa, Sexyy Red, and many more.

Next year marks the tenth anniversary of Rolling Loud as a festival brand, so according to a release, there will be other surprises in store for attendees.

Last week, John Oliver crashed the website for Forest and Bird, a New Zealand conservation group that runs an annual Bird of the Year vote. The late night host launched what he’s admittedly called an “alarmingly aggressive” campaign urging people to vote for the pūteketeke, a rare water bird that may just be Oliver’s spirit animal.

“They have a mating dance where they both grab a clump of wet grass and chest bump each other before standing around unsure of what to do next,” Oliver said. “I’ve never identified with anything more in my life.”

However, Oliver’s attention to the contest not only caused the website to crash, but the results had to be delayed as Forest and Bird struggled to keep up with the overwhelming amount of votes pouring in. But to be clear, Forest and Bird aren’t mad. They are absolutely loving the chaos.

“It’s been pretty crazy, in the best possible way,” Chief Executive Nicola Toki told the Associated Press.

Turns out, Oliver had asked the group for permission before launching the campaign. Forest and Bird gave him the green light and severely underestimated Oliver’s zealousness:

Toki said that when the contest began in 2005, they had a total of 865 votes, which they considered a great success. That grew to a record 56,000 votes two years ago, she said, a number that was surpassed this year within a couple of hours of Oliver launching his campaign.

Toki said Oliver contacted the group earlier this year asking if he could champion a bird. They had told him to go for it, not realizing what was to come.

“I was cry laughing,” Toki said when she watched Oliver’s segment.

Not only did Forest and Bird embrace the chaos, but so did Oliver. After learning that he’d crashed the site and delayed the winning results, the Last Week Tonight host taunted his fellow competitors who were about to be crushed by pūteketeke fever.

“For the record, all of your birds are great. And it would be an honor to lose to any of them when results are announced on Wednesday,” Oliver said. “And the reason it’s so easy for me to say that is, we’re not gonna lose are we? We’re gonna win, and we’re gonna win by a lot. And when we do that, the pūteketeke will be your Bird of the Century, and there’s nothing any of you can do to stop that right now.”

Rolling Loud California always brings it with the festival lineups, and now we know that this is true for 2024 as well. The Los Angeles-based fest announced its 2024 lineup today, and headlining are Nicki Minaj, Post Malone, and Lil Uzi Vert.

Also featured on the poster are YG & Tyga, PartyNextDoor, Rae Sremmurd, Lil Tecca, Sexyy Red, Suicideboys, Summer Walker, Big Sean, Don Toliver, Bryson Tiller, Ski Mask The Slump God, Chief Keef, NLE Choppa, 03 Greedo, Luh Tyler, Bones, Flo Milli, Pi’erre Bourne, Kaliii, Mozzy, Sukihana, and plenty of others.

Additionally, there’s one name on the poster that’s been blurred out, so expect that announcement to be made at some point before the festival’s run from March 15 to 17, 2024 at Inglewood’s Hollywood Park Grounds.

For those looking to attend, pre-sale passes will be available starting November 16 (this Thursday) at 10 a.m. PT, while passes will be available beginning the next day, November 17, at 10 a.m. PT. Hip-hop’s 50th anniversary reminded fans of the genre just how much they’ve missed André 3000. For weeks, Killer Mike teased that the former Outkast member would soon drop his long-awaited solo debut studio album. However, given the false flags in the past, supporters took it as a joke. It turns out the joke is on the public because Mike ended up being right.

Today (November 14), André revealed to NPR Music that his forthcoming project, New Blue Sun, is due out this Friday, November 17. Although the body of work isn’t a stand-alone rap release, the wild tracklist alone was enough to spike interest; The listing mentions everybody from Beyoncé to Jesus. Ghandi, the Dalai Lama, Ted Bundy, Jeffrey Dahmer, and John Wayne Gacy are also named in the record’s titles. Without any new verses or bars coming from André on the upcoming album, he had to find a way to verbalize his inspiration somehow.

House of the Dragon had no issue shaking off the final Game of Thrones season that disappointed plenty of viewers. Surely, the new show’s writers observed what story elements are good to avoid regarding the Targaryen gang, and a few strategic changes from George R.R. Martin‘s source material have surfaced in HotD already during the first season. Naturally, it was excellent news to learn that HBO swiftly greenlit a second season, so that we will be able to see Team Black and Team Green go to war after Aemond ^^^ unintentionally kicked the next phase of the Targaryen civil war off.

Irresistible jackass Aemond did so while erroneously believing that he could control Vhagar while taunting Luc and Arrax. As viewers witnessed, however, Vhagar refused to stop the aggression and made a tasty meal out of the smaller dragon and his rider. In the final scene of the season, Daemon informed Rhaenyra of this tragedy, and she reacted by putting on her game face. In other words: It. Is. On.

When will we see Season 2 happen? The Dance of the Dragons will get things started on the most fiery HotD foot, and we can expect this to happen in Summer 2024. That window has been confirmed by HBO, and even though this seems like a long wait, production hammered hard to deliver a faster turnaround than the final GoT seasons. We will keep our eyes open for a precise release date.

House of the Dragon is based upon the Fire and Blood novel, and Season 2 will pick up right after the midpoint of the book. That’s not relative to the pages covering Season 1. As readers know, Viserys and Daemon don’t become prominent figures until well over the 40% point. There’s a lot of Targaryen family history, after all, and fortunately, showrunner Ryan Condal (along with former co-showrunner Miguel Sapochnik) guided the show right into the middle of the source material and pushed those dragons right into motion in an authentic way. Well, as authentic as CGI-adorned dragon stories can be.

The Season 2 premiere title, “A Son For A Son,” means that Aemond needs to watch himself. He’s on Team Green with the Hightower side of the family, and yes, he’s got the biggest dragon, but he is clearly out of his depth as a rider. King Viserys would be so disappointed, and at least he won’t have to suffer through watching Rhaenyra and Aegon II battling over the Iron Throne.

André 3000 announced that he’s returning with his first solo album, New Blue Sun, giving fans something to look forward to extremely soon — as he is dropping it this Friday, November 17.

However, during an interview with NPR, he clarified that some Outkast fans who might be expecting a rap album might be disappointed, and he wanted to warn them beforehand.

“I don’t want to troll people,” André said. “I don’t want people to think, ‘Oh, this André 3000 album is coming!’ And you play it and like, ‘Oh man, no verses.’ So even actually on the packaging, you’ll see it says, ‘Warning: no bars.’”

According to a statement, it will instead be “an entirely instrumental album centered around woodwinds; a celebratory piece of work in the form of a living, breathing, aural organism.”

He also hilariously pokes fun at it by naming the album’s opening song “I swear, I Really Wanted To Make A “Rap” Album But This Is Literally The Way The Wind Blew Me This Time.” (Somehow, that’s not the strangest song title on the record.)

Over the weekend at a Veterans Day rally in New Hampshire, Donald Trump vowed to “root out” what he called “the radical left thugs that live like vermin within the confines of our country.” You know who else referred to their political opponents as vermin? Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini.

New York University historian Ruth Ben-Ghiat told the Washington Post that “calling people ‘vermin’ was used effectively by Hitler and Mussolini to dehumanize people and encourage their followers to engage in violence. Trump is also using projection: note that he mentions all kinds of authoritarians — ‘communists, Marxists, fascists, and the radical left’ — to set himself up as the deliverer of freedom. Mussolini promised freedom to his people too and then declared dictatorship.”

A Trump spokesperson denied the accusation, calling it a “ridiculous assertion” from “snowflakes” who are “suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome,” but Stephen Colbert had another take. “So he’s plagiarizing those guys?” the host said during Monday’s episode of The Late Show. “It’s going to be so awkward when he runs into them in Hell.”

For years now, Outkast fans have been waiting and waiting (and waiting) for André 3000 to release a solo album. Now, he finally is, although musically speaking, it might not meet Outkast fans’ expectations.

In a new interview with NPR Music shared today (November 14), André announced the project: It’s called New Blue Sun and it’s set for release really soon, on November 17. It’s not a rap album, though; André said, “I don’t want to troll people. I don’t want people to think, ‘Oh, this André 3000 album is coming!’ And you play it and like, ‘Oh man, no verses.’ So even actually on the packaging, you’ll see it says, ‘Warning: no bars.’”

To his point, the first song on the album is titled “I swear, I Really Wanted To Make A “Rap” Album But This Is Literally The Way The Wind Blew Me This Time.” The other titles on the tracklist (find that below) are equally unconventional.

NPR described the project as “a stunning 87-minute mind-bender, minimalist and experimental, tribal and transcendent” and noted, “One thing it is not, however, is a rap record: No bars, no beats, no sub-bass. André doesn’t sing on this joint, either. What he does do is play flute, and plenty of it — contrabass flute, Mayan flutes, bamboo flutes — along with other digital wind instruments.”

While this is definitely a musical departure, it’s not a complete surprise, given that André has, on multiple occasions in recent years, been spotted out and about playing the flute in public.

Gospel singer Bobbi Storm had a pretty great day recently: She’s a member of the group Maverick City Music, which just earned 2024 Grammy nominations for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song (for “God Problems”) and Best Gospel Album (for The Maverick Way). (The group also performed with Quavo during the Grammy’s “In Memoriam” segment earlier this year.) How she decided to celebrate, though, raised some eyebrows.

In a video that Storm shared on Instagram on November 10 (last Friday, the day the Grammy nominations were announced), she’s on a plane, standing in the aisle, being scolded by a flight attendant, who told her, “If you’re not able to follow my instructions, you will not be able to take this flight.”

Storm obliges, then tells her fellow passengers about the Grammy nods before singing “We Can’t Forget Him” quietly.

A spokesperson for Delta told USA Today, “Delta has been in contact with the customer. For the safety of our customers and crew, it’s always important to follow crew instructions.”

In the caption of her post, Storm wrote, “At the end of the day God is glorified!!!! Tell me, how are you choosing love on purpose??? Blessings to you all from your #FearlessFlightSinger [winking emoji] #WeCantForgetHim #TheMaverickWay.”

Not everybody was on board with her stunt, though. One Instagram commenter wrote, “This is one of the most egotistical things I’ve ever seen. You think because you’re Grammy nominated that rules don’t apply to you and the plane is your stage? Work on that ego sis.” Another said, “You were completely in the wrong, and I hope you ended up on the no fly list.”
