DJ Khaled Says He And Tyler The Creator Are Actually On Good Terms Despite Their Alleged 2019 Beef

Back when Tyler The Creator won his second Grammy for Best Rap Album, he made sure to troll DJ Khaled in a video on Instagram, razzing the producer, “I know you’re seething and angry and [saying], ‘Ugh, no one listens to that album!’ These arena tours that are selling out say different, and if you put that much energy into something, maybe everyone will be proud of you too.”

It had by that time become a tradition for Tyler to roast Khaled with his wins after fans determined that Khaled was angry about Tyler’s album Igor outselling his album Father Of Asahd in 2019. But in a new feature for Rolling Stone, Khaled insisted that he and Tyler are actually on good terms and that both instances were just Tyler being Tyler. According to Rolling Stone‘s Jeff Ihaza:

He also tells me he’d like to work with Tems and, surprisingly, Tyler, the Creator, with whom he says he has a good rapport, despite a social media tussle when Father of Asahd was beaten out by Tyler’s Igor on the charts in 2019. (He says they chopped it up at Jay-Z’s Roc Nation brunch earlier this year.)

The tradition of Tyler’s trolling stemmed from a 2019 video Khaled posted on Snapchat in which he addressed haters of his boisterous style and questioned what he actually does. After another rant from Khaled in which he complained that Billboard had discounted several of his album’s sales without warning, the video was reposted on Twitter and presented as a rant about Tyler’s album outselling his.

Unfortunately, once the narrative had solidified, Tyler himself joined in, and while they likely hashed out the misunderstanding behind the scenes, Tyler’s nothing if not a masterful troll, and has taken every opportunity to entertain fans with some lighthearted trash talk. Should the two actually work together for real, though, it’ll surely be a fun moment for hip-hop — especially those fans who are in on the above context.

Yaeji’s ‘Easy Breezy’ Video Is Filled With Potassium, Positive Verbal Reinforcement, And One Epic Showdown

After her breakout performance at Coachella 2023, Yaeji was on cloud nine. The musician’s long-awaited debut album, With A Hammer, preceded the live spectacle. With singles like “‘Done (Let’s Get It),” Yaeji could’ve laid back to enjoy the rest of the year on cruise control. Instead, yesterday (November 6), the entertainer decided to surprise fans with new music.

Yaeji’s latest record, “Easy Breezy,” is yet another motivational anthem from the budding electronic star. For the visual, Yaeji shows off her humorous side. The video is filled with potassium, positive verbal reinforcement, and one epic showdown.

“Learning to let go / It’s not so easy, it’s not so breezy / Feeling no judgement / It’s not so easy, it’s not so breezy / Giving yourself time / It’s not so easy, it’s not so breezy / Information is also so overloaded / We look for meaning in places that don’t exist / That’s the thing, imagine what we can create / If we weren’t limited by our own limitations / Do you want to,” sings Yaeji.

When describing the inspiration behind the self-direct visual, Yaeji wrote, “It’s a silly song with a silly video. But there’s often truth and depth to things that we can laugh to together.”

When Does ‘Reacher’ Season 2 Come Out On Amazon?

Time to tell your dad that the protagonist from his favorite book series is back for another round on TV. Reacher, based on Lee Child’s bestselling series Jack Reacher returns to Amazon Prime this winter for season two.

Alan Ritchson (who is 6′ 2″, for the record) returns as Jack Reacher, a former U.S. Army military policeman who received word that members of his former unit are being mysteriously murdered. To track down the culprit, Reacher assembles his former teammates to investigate. Maria Sten, Serinda Swan, and Shaun Sipos star alongside Richardson. Here’s an official synopsis of what to expect:

Pulled from his drifter lifestyle, Reacher reunites with three of his former teammates turned chosen family to investigate, including Frances Neagley (Maria Sten); Karla Dixon (Serinda Swan), a forensic accountant for whom Reacher has long had a soft spot; and fast-talking, switchblade-wielding family man David O’Donnell (Shaun Sipos). Together, they begin to connect the dots in a mystery where the stakes get higher at every turn, and that brings about questions of who has betrayed them—and who will die next. Using his inimitable blend of smarts and size, Reacher will stop at nothing to uncover the truth and protect the members of his unit. If there’s one thing Reacher and his team know for certain, it’s that you do not mess with the Special Investigators. This season, get ready for Reacher and the 110th to hit back hard.

Season two is based on Bad Luck and Trouble, the 11th book in the Reacher series. So, if this goes well, we could get at least a dozen more seasons by 2040. The eight-episode season will drop weekly, with the first three premiering on December 15th, and new episodes on Friday through January 19th. This is a perfect way to bond with your dad or older neighbor or even your local librarian! Check out the trailer above.

Elizabeth Berkley Loved Ariana Grande’s ‘Genius’ Recreation Of A Wild Scene From ‘Showgirls’

One of the best celebrity Halloween costumes this year was Ariana Grande dressed up as Nomi Malone from Paul Verhoeven’s cult classic Showgirls. The singer, along with her former Victorious co-star Elizabeth Gillies, even recreated a wild scene from the movie involving dog food and “nice tits.”

Elizabeth Berkley, who played Nomi in the original film, shared her appreciation for the tribute on Instagram. “SHOWGIRLS This past week, the magical @arianagrande recreated my #Nomi for #halloween with all the love and attention to detail that only an artist with her heart and creative genius could do,” the actress wrote. “I adore you, @arianagrande and love how you and @lizgillz had fun with #nomiandcrystal in a way that only you two could. When you are from #differentplaces you have to watch your back because when you are wearing @versace #versayce #theresalwayssomeoneyoungerandhungriercomingdownthestairsafteryou.”

The world’s longest hashtag being a Showgirls quote feels appropriate.

Grande responded to Berkley, writing, “You are simply the most gorgeous ever! we love you so much and had so much fun paying homage to you both. thank you for changing us forever with your brilliant and iconic Nomi.”

If you’ve never seen Showgirls, do yourself a favor and rectify that. It’s streaming for free on Tubi.

Meghan McCain’s Came ‘Untethered’ After Worrying About A Terrorist Attack On Chuck E. Cheese

There was a time when Meghan McCain was regarded as one of the more level-headed Republicans. The daughter of the late Senator John McCain was a political author and routine guest on Real Time with Bill Maher in the early 2010s and would often tout her socially liberal views despite being a lifelong Republican. That was before she married Ben Domenech.

Domenech is a Fox News commentator and publisher of the far-right wing website The Federalist whose talking points McCain often repeated during her time on The View. While McCain has remained one of the more prominent Never Trump conservatives, to say that she’s moved further to the right is an understatement.

Case in point, McCain recently revealed on the latest episode of her new podcast that Domenech had her worried that Hamas terrorists were going to attack a nearby Chuck E. Cheese while she was there with their kids over the weekend.

“I feel really unsafe, and I never feel like this,” McCain said about the situation in Israel, which she feels will somehow spill over to America. “I’m not one of these people, I lived in New York for a really long time, I lived in Los Angeles, can really handle my s—.”

Via Entertainment Weekly:

“All of a sudden, I took my kids to Chuck E. Cheese over the weekend, and when I came back, my husband was like, ‘How was it?’ and I was like, ‘It was great, how are you?’ and he said, ‘Good, but I was actually worried about if something was going to happen to you guys at Chuck E. Cheese.”

She continued, “I feel very untethered in a way that I haven’t, maybe ever.”

McCain slightly walked back her remarks, but only because they weren’t fair to the rat-based pizzeria that gives her a much-needed reprieve from parenting.

“He should have been worried about me at Chuck E. Cheese for other reasons. Germ reasons,” McCain joked. “Actually, I love Chuck E. Cheese, I’m not going to crap on Chuck E. Cheese, they have really good pizza and they can entertain my daughter for hours and hours.”

Let’s focus on the real shocker here: Meghan McCain actually stepped foot in a Chuck E. Cheese. Who saw that coming? Not us!

‘We’re F*cked’: Seth Meyers Had A Bit Of A Meltdown Over A Poll That Has Trump Beating Biden In The 2024 Election

A recent poll found that Donald Trump is ahead of Joe Biden in five of the six battleground states for the 2024 election. The current president trails behind the former guy in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, and Pennsylvania; the only swing state he’s presently forecasted to win is Wisconsin. According to the New York Times, “Across the six battlegrounds — all of which Mr. Biden carried in 2020 — the president trails by an average of 48 to 44 percent.”

That’s not ideal for Democrats — or anyone who doesn’t want this schmuck to be president again — and Seth Meyers is not handling it well.

During a new segment called “Seth Stares Off Into the Distance and Mutters to Himself For a Second,” the Late Night host did exactly that, while drinking wine and smoking a (fake) cigarette. Once he returned from his lil’ existential crisis, Meyers noted, “I know we are a full year away from the election, and it’s natural and normal for people to express their frustration with the incumbent at this point in the calendar. The same thing happened with Obama, too. And then he went on to easily defeat Mitt Romney.” There’s no reason to panic.

However, “we have to start f*cking panicking now! We are f*cked, f*cked, f*cked, f*cked,” Meyers warned. There aren’t enough bottles of wine and fake cigarettes in the world. You can watch the Late Night clip above.

Jeremy Renner Revealed The ‘Greatest’ Type Of Therapy He Has Experienced After His Snow Plow Accident

Jeremy Renner
Getty Image

Jeremy Renner, actor, survivor, and budding musician, is back doing what he really loves: posting inspirational words of wisdom on his Instagram. Everything that Renner has done over the past 10 months has been pretty inspirational after his life-threatening snow plow accident in January, so he’s being consistent about it.

Renner posted a photo complete with a mending heart emoji along with his latest update. “I have been exploring EVERY type of therapy since Jan 14th.” He wrote. “Everyday, countless hours of physical therapy, peptide injections, iv drips and pushes, stem cell and exosomes, red light / IR therapy, hyperbaric chamber 2.0 atmospheres, cold plunge, and the list goes on and on,” he continued, thankfully stopping the list there before jumping into any questionable procedures.

The former Avenger then opened up about what he called his “greatest therapy” which is his….mind. Just hear him out! He explained, “My greatest therapy has been my mind and the will to be here and push to recover and be better…. Be exceptional… I feel it’s my duty to do so. Not to squander my life being spared , but to give back to my family, friends, and all of you whom have empowered me to endure . I thank you all.” Why does he space out the punctuation like that? It’s unclear. But again, he’s consistent!

The guy has been through a lot, so it’s nice to see that he is still enthusiastic about life. Next up, Renner will be releasing his third album, this time inspired by his recovery journey since his accident, titled Love and Titanium, which is not a Thor sequel, so just keep that in mind.

Jeremy Allen White’s Meeting For A ‘Marvel-y Movie’ Didn’t Go As Planned For Execs: “They Were Like, ‘F*ck You’”

Jeremy Allen White

(Spoilers for The Iron Claw will be found below.)

Thank goodness that A24’s The Iron Claw received an exemption from the SAG-AFTRA strike, so that we can enjoy rowdy/randy interviews with the cast (before The Iron Claw comes down on the audience with its real-life vibe). This has included a discussion with Entertainment Weekly on the unexpected The Bear benefit bestowed upon Jeremy Allen White’s fellow leading men, and that tidbit arrived within a sprawling feature that includes Yellowstone-esque visuals with White rubbing sauce all over his shirt while he, Zac Efron, and Harris Dickenson eat ribs in slo mo.

Now, it’s time for White’s GQ profile, which covers an array of subjects including how he’s navigating his increased fame, which led to followup on his thirsty Instagram comment that raised eyebrows. He plans to reel that practice in, but White did reveal that he let it all hang out with a group of movie execs once, and yeah, he did not get the role. To be fair, it sounds like he (at least subconsciously) didn’t want this role in some sort of blockbuster movie that he suggests was of the “Marvel-y” variety. The Shameless actor got told to shove off, and he was fine with it:

“I had a meeting for a kind of Marvel-y movie, and I had an attitude,” White tells me. “I think I played it all wrong.” White was sceptical, and showed it in front of the execs. “‘Tell me about why should I do your movie,’” White says, recreating the meeting now at Found Oyster, crossing his arms and leaning back, the table set with enough seafood to fill out the entire cast of The Little Mermaid. “They were like, ‘F*ck you,’” White says. “And I was like, ‘Right on.’”

And everything worked out as it should. I can’t even imagine White in a comic-book-type production, which isn’t a knock against either these projects or the actor. Let’s just say that White’s talent is heavily showcased by portraying emotionally pent-up characters who get pushed to the brink, and then the audience receives quite a show. For those who know the real-life story of the Von Erich wrestling family, you can guess how intense White’s The Iron Claw performance shall be. The film’s trailer goes heavy on the foreshadowing for White’s character, and the movie arrives in theaters on Dec. 23.
