Here Are The Best Fast Food Deals Right Now To Help You Save Some Money

The Best Fast Food Deals Right now(1024x450) (1)
Uproxx

With music festival season fast approaching it’s getting harder to justify spending money on pricey fast food. So don’t! While yes, fast food has gotten pricier, there are still a lot of really great deals out there that’ll get you fed on the cheap.

Now granted, skipping a few full-priced fast food combos a week isn’t going to save you enough to afford tickets to Coachella, but hey, any amount helps and we want you to spend your spring and summer watching your favorite artists on stage, not streaming their albums while you wait in a long drive-thru line.

So we gathered up the best fast food and restaurant deals currently available in the month of April to save you some of that hard-earned cash. Hopefully, now you can spend your money on much cooler things than a double cheeseburger.

Applebee’s With fast food prices on the rise, eating at a sit down restaurant is starting to seem more and more appealing, especially when you have things like Applebee’s Really Big Meal Deal. The deal consists of a Big Banging’ Burger (their words not ours), or a Big Cluckin’ Chicken Sandwich, or Classic Bacon Cheeseburger, with endless fries, and unlimited fountain drinks for just $9.99.

That’s more food than most fast food restaurants are willing to give you for under $10.

Arby’s For an unspecified limited time, Arby’s Rewards members can enjoy a BOGO deal on the brand’s best sandwich, the Beef ’N Cheddar.

Carl’s Jr. This month you can pick up a Snack Stash deal that consists of any of the following three: 6-piece Jalapeño Popper Bites, Waffle Fries, Onion Rings, Small Fries or Fried Zucchini for just $5.99. Carl’s Jr. is officially at the top of our list the next time we get high and the munchies hit us.

Dunkin Breakfast fans can score the $6 Meal Deal which will get you a six-piece order of hashbrowns, a Sausage Egg & Cheese croissant and a medium coffee. It’s the sort of carb and sugar overload that’ll kick start your morning routine.

Jack in the Box Grab lunch for two with JiB’s Double Vision Meal Deal, which gets you two Jumbo Jacks, two small fries, and two drinks for $11.99. That’s about $6 per meal, which is pretty damn good deal.

KFC Do you have dinner plans on Tuesday? Well, now you do! KFC is bringing back its $10 Tuesday deal, which consists of a full eight piece bucket of dark meat fried chicken. Would’ve been nice to get a whole bird in there, but hey, who are we to complain?

Long John Silvers Fast food fish season continues! Right now you can score any Shrimp Basket from Long John Silvers for just $6. The basket consists of your choice of Grilled, Popcorn, Battered, or Coconut Shrimp plus a side and an order of hushpuppies.

McDonald’s McDonald’s Daily Double Meal Deal will get you a double cheeseburger, small fries, 6-piece McNuggets, and a drink for just $6. No notes or snide remarks here, that’s a great deal.

Papa John’s Purchase any large pizza in-store, online, or via the app, and receive a free large 1-topping pizza. There is nothing better than a good old-fashioned BOGO deal!

Popeyes From now until May 4th, you can pick up a five-piece order of classic or spicy chicken tenders from Popeyes for $9. Straight up, it’s not the best deal Popeyes has ever given us, but hey, it’s still a deal.

Instead, let us point you to a more limited, but much better deal. From now until April 13th you can pick up any two chicken sandwiches and a regular-sized side for just $12. Share it with a friend, or you know, don’t, and eat the two sandwiches yourself! We couldn’t think of a better excuse to try Popeyes’ new excellent Pickle Glaze sandwich

Shake Shack Between the hours of 2-5pm, you can score one of Shake Shack’s LTO shakes for $4 with any purchase when checking out with the code SHAKEIT.

Subway Right now Subway is offering its $6.99 Meal of the Day deal. You get a 6” sub, a small drink, and chips (or two cookies), but yes, there is a catch. Every day the deal applies to a different sandwich. Monday will get you a Cold Cut Combo, Tuesday is the Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki, Wednesday will get you the Meatball Marinara, Thursday the Hot Honey Pepperoni, Friday is Tuna, Saturday the BMT, and Sunday the Philly.

Which means you’re probably going on Wednesday!

Wendy’s Wendy’s best deal, and honestly, one of the best deals in fast food period, is the $5 Biggie Bag. The combo consists of your choice of a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger, Crispy Chicken Sandwich or Double Stack, a four piece order of nuggets, small fries, and a drink for just $5.

Doechii And Doja Cat’s Love-Fest Continued With An NSFW Compliment

doja cat

Last week, Doja Cat showed a lot of love to breakout star Doechii in the wake of the Florida native’s utter takeover of pop culture. “Doechii is MY inspiration,” she wrote on Twitter. “Doechii is here to STAY.” In response, Doechii wrote back, “Aww stop it. I love you so much. Thank you so much for having me.”

That was nowhere near the end of their love-fest, though. Things got pretty NSFW after Doechii continued, “I love you I love you I love you. You maintain EXCELLENCE in RAP! You are an ICON. You are THEE performer and artist we all know we can count on to make cool ART. Keep sh*ttin on everybody boo, nobody f*ckin whichu.”

Doja apparently couldn’t let Doechii one-up her in the compliments department, so she added her own vow: “I love you too, pimp,” she wrote. “Thank you and never stop making people move or I’ll cut my clit off.”

YIKE.

Doja is known for her silly — and occasionally raunchy — sense of humor, so it seems unlikely that any self-mutilation is actually going to take place, but she certainly made her point. It’s not just talk; Doja brought Doechii along on her 2023 Scarlet Tour, giving the Swamp Princess one of her first opportunities to make an impression on fans.

Doechii made the most of the invitation, carving out a reputation for fully-formed, creative performances with a strong visual narrative that perfectly complemented her commitment to making unique, forceful pop-rap tunes. That rep flourished in 2024, and here we are today, with Doechii joining Doja as one of the most critically acclaimed, fan-favorite personalities in hip-hop.

Hotline TNT Sound Bigger Than Ever In ‘Julia’s War,’ The First Single From The New Album ‘Raspberry Moon’

Hotline TNT‘s Cartwheel was one of the best albums of 2023. On Tuesday (April 8), the New York-based group (who have good taste in fictional music festivals) announced their next album. Raspberry Moon is described as “the most sweeping and compelling Hotline TNT album to date and, crucially, the first built by a full band.”

In the past, Hotline TNT has been a one-man band in the studio, with Will Anderson recording all the music by himself. But on Raspberry Moon, he’s joined by touring members guitarist Lucky Hunter, bassist Haylen Trammel, and drummer Mike Ralston for a bigger, fuller shoegaze-y sound.

You can hear the difference in “Julia’s War,” the album’s first single.

“In a world of half-hearted hooks, and buried-in-the-mix vocals, we had to muster the courage to do what the rest of the shoegaze community could not…We looked out to the stadium and reassured the audience: Our voices, together, will be heard,” Anderson said in a statement. “You’ve never heard a TNT chorus this straightforward – when we stress-tested it during the writing process, the ‘try not to sing along challenge’ came back with a 100% fail rate.”

You can listen to “Julia’s War,” while the Raspberry Moon album cover artwork and tracklist and Hotline TNT’s tour dates can be found below.

Charli XCX Might Be Teasing A Post-‘Brat’ Era With A Coachella Billboard

charli xcx

It’s officially Coachella season, as we’re just days away from the 2025 edition of the festival, which goes down during the weekends of April 11 to 13 and 18 to 20. As such, as is tradition, the California desert is filling up with billboards from musicians promoting their upcoming performances (here are a few examples). One from Charli XCX, though, is particularly intriguing.

As Charli shared on her private Instagram account (here’s another look), there’s a billboard in the classic Brat green with the Brat text in the middle, but the text has been scribbled over. This may suggest that Charli is preparing to debut a post-Brat era at Coachella.

Fans commenting on Charli’s post have their own theories. Some wonder if this could be Charli hinting that she’ll bring out Sky Ferreira to join in for a performance of their collaboration “Cross You Out.” Others are entertaining the idea that Charli may not play any Brat songs during her set. As one fan commented, “you ended the crash era at coachella 2023 and you’ll be ending brat era again at coachella 2025……”

Meanwhile, Charli recently explained why all her of album covers as they appear on streaming platforms still have their alternate Brat-style artworks, saying, “I see that you want this, I know that you want this, and I love that you want it. I love this narrative. But all I’ll say is, every single thing that I’ve done, even the tiniest, smallest thing, has been for a reason. Like to the point where some people wouldn’t even know. What I’m saying is, everything has a purpose, everything I do has a purpose, and so when this happens, it will be for a reason.”

Tate McRae Explains How ‘Euphoria’ Inspired Her To Include Sydney Sweeney On Her Album

Tate McRae 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards

Is that actually Sydney Sweeney on Tate McRae’s latest album? It turns out: yes! The The Masque Of The Red Death actress is an uncredited special guest on “Miss Possessive,” a highlight from So Close To What. McRae explained how the cameo together during a recent interview with Los40.

“I adore Sydney Sweeney. I’m such a huge fan,” McRae said. “Thanks to her character Cassie in Euphoria, she totally embodied that ‘possessive’ energy and perfectly captured the vibe of ‘Miss Possessive.’ So I thought, if Sydney could lend her voice to the song, it would be a fun Easter egg for the fans.”

She continued, “I sent her a short voice note saying, ‘Can you say this in this way?’ — and when she sent it back, it was perfect. It was super fun.”

McRae previously revealed that it was Glen Powell who linked her with Sweeney. “Well, okay, it’s crazy because… my episode that I was on last year, she was doing the couch here, so that’s when we first saw each other in the hall,” she said on The Tonight Show. “And then Glen Powell, who I do Pilates with sometimes… He connected us. Sydney was such a legend.”

The entire internet agrees.

Young Thug Is Stunned By A Fan’s Huge Tattoo Based On A Misheard Lyric

Young Thug BET Hip Hop Awards 2021
Getty Image

Recently, somebody — a Young Thug fan, apparently — shared a photo of their back tattoo, which features an illustration of three galloping horses, below the words, “Horses don’t stop, they keep going,” an apparent nod to Thug’s song “Digits.” The problem, though, is that those aren’t the words, as the lyric is actually, “Hustlers don’t stop, they keep going.”

Thug himself caught wind of the ink and responded on X (formerly Twitter), writing, “And that’s y I’m talking with more clarity UY SCUTI… dam bro…”

As Genius notes, the hustlers/horses misunderstanding has long been a meme among Thug fans (here’s an example). So, while the tattoo has been presented as a mistake, it’s possible, perhaps even likely, that the fan didn’t really make a mistake, but was just playing off the long-running joke.

Thug, meanwhile, is on the comeback trail since being released from jail in 2024. Lyrical Lemonade’s Summer Smash 2025 lineup was announced recently, and Thug is on it, so the festival is currently set to mark his first live performance since his release (unless something earlier comes up). Interestingly, also on that lineup are Don Toliver and Yeat together, marking their first time taking the stage together as a duo.

‘SNL’ Put A Comedic Spin On Morgan Wallen’s Remarks Following His Abrupt Exit

Morgan Wallen The 56th Annual CMA Awards 2022
Getty Image

Morgan Wallen’s long-awaited return to Saturday Night Live on March 29 was the talk of the town. While the chart-topper’s performances of “I’m The Problem” and “Just In Case” were a sweet sample of his forthcoming album, his abrupt exit during the late night show’s closing credits left a bad taste in viewers’ mouths. So, during SNL’s latest episode decided to address the viral moment.

Instead of issuing a simple statement, the cast and show writers found a comedic way to tackle the topic. First, James Austin Johnson (as President Donald Trump) weaved Wallen’s Instagram comment “Get Me to God’s Country” in a sketch about tariffs.

“I even put tariffs on an island uninhabited by humans,” said Johnson. “It’s called Heard and McDonald Island. McDonald Island. I would love to visit there. Can you imagine that? Big Mac and a hula skirt. Get me to God’s country, right? Remember that?”

Later in the program, Colin Jost referenced Wallen’s exit during the Weekend Update. “Money is leaving the stock market faster than Morgan Wallen at goodnights,” joked Jost.

Separately, cast members Bowen Yang and Kenan Thompson shrugged off the incident.

Morgan Wallen does not seem to be too fazed by the backlash. Over on the “I Had Some Help” singer’s website, fans can purchase merch with the plastered with the quote.

Benny Blanco Was Hilariously Mistaken For Bad Bunny In A Viral Post, And The Producer Is Absolutely Thrilled

Being famous does not save you from silly mix-ups when out in public. This has hilariously happened to Rick Ross, Timothée Chalamet, and most recently Benny Blanco.

During the 2025 Oscars, Benny Blanco was mistaken for, of all people, Bad Bunny by the Academy’s social media team (viewable here). While appearing on The Jennifer Hudson Show, the “Sunset Blvd” producer addressed the viral post.

After host Hudson brought up the funny moment, Blanco seemed confused. “They did,” questioned Blanco.

The Hudson confirmed that it indeed happened reading the now updated post’s original caption: “Selena Gomez and Bad Bunny.”

Immediately, Blanco expressed excitement over the case of mistaken identity. “I like that,” Blanco joyously responded.

Hudson began to point out their clear physical difference. But, Blanco leaned into the mix-up saying how flattered he was. “What do you mean,” Blanco interrupted. “He’s so hot! I’ll take it, I’ll take it. What do you mean?”

He continued: “Look at how pretty he is — are you kidding? Yeah, I’m Bad Bunny now.”

As a chart-topping, award-winning producer many would die to trade places to be Benny Blanco. But temporarily swapping spots with the king of online thirst traps Bad Bunny could make for some amazing musical material.

Watch Benny Blanco’s appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show above.
