Amon-Ra St. Brown Had To Dress Up Like A Leprechaun Because Notre Dame Annihilated USC

The Detroit Lions are one of the best stories in the NFL this season, posting a 5-1 record that is tied for the best mark in the league. While Detroit’s roster is filled with talented players, one of the best is Amon-Ra St. Brown, who emerged as a budding star with 106 catches and more than 1,100 yards in 2022. This year, St. Brown is averaging more than 90 receiving yards per game and, by all accounts, he is a key piece of Detroit’s offensive success along with Jared Goff and others. However, St. Brown had a tough day at the office this week, and it came as a result of his collegiate affiliation.

St. Brown was a fourth-round draft pick out of USC in 2021, and he clearly feels an attachment to his university. In fact, St. Brown and Lions linebacker Julian Okwara made a friendly agreement — he made it very, very clear this was not a bet — before last week’s battle between USC and Notre Dame, where Okwara played his college football. Unfortunately for St. Brown, USC was blitzed to the tune of a 48-20 drubbing in South Bend, and that meant that St. Brown had to pay up.

On Thursday, St. Brown’s penance became public when he dressed up like a leprechaun in the Lions locker room and answered questions from the media in the outfit.

This is obviously harmless, but it is also tremendous content. St. Brown did what anyone should do when they lose a friendly wager and he leaned into the bit. Okwara also appeared to deeply enjoy himself, which is also what should always happen in this instance. Also, the vibes continue to be immaculate for the Lions, and Detroit will put its 5-1 record on the line against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday afternoon.

We Know At Least One Team Cares About The In-Season Tournament

There’s one question that is looming over the NBA’s brand new In-Season Tournament: Who is going to care about this? Essentially, it’s a brand new competition that is getting folded into the NBA regular season, so there are questions about whether or not any of the players will take this really seriously, especially because (presumably) all of their focus and attention will be on winning the NBA Finals later in the year.

Is that a fair question? Who knows! The season hasn’t even started yet, so this is all speculation at this point. But if there is one bright spot for the league, it’s that one team is apparently prepared to take the competition very seriously.

“I said to [Golden State Warriors general manager] Mike Dunleavy about a month ago, I said, ‘Hey Mike, what do you think about this in-season tournament?’” Warriors president Brandon Schneider recalled during the broadcast of the team’s preseason win over the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday. “He said, ‘Well, Draymond Green and Chris Paul told me we’re gonna win it.’ I said, ‘OK, that’s all I needed to know.’”

I have spent a solid 10 minutes going back and forth on whether or not this is a surprise. Beyond the fact that Green expressed some frustrations with the payout players will receive for the Tournament, plenty of folks wondered whether the old guard — guys specifically like Green and Paul — would care about competing for this because of how important winning the NBA Finals is for them. At the same time, Green and Paul are insane competitors who want to win everything, presumably see the value of being the first In-Season Tournament winners, and for Paul specifically, I assume he was in meetings with Adam Silver about this for years during his time as the president of the NBPA and got sold on the idea. At the very least, a nice trip to Las Vegas in December is quite the incentive.

The really good news for the league here is that if a team like the Warriors is going to care about this, that should have ripple effects. Obviously, Golden State is a draw on national television, and the league would surely love if people are tuning into the In-Season Tournament because Steph Curry and co. go on a run. And of course, if a team like the Warriors essentially validates this as a thing worth taking seriously, it’s not hard to see that having ripple effects across the league.

Meek Mill And Rick Ross Locked In A Release Date For Their Joint Album ‘Too Good To Be True’

Meek Mill and Rick Ross’ upcoming joint album Too Good To Be True officially has a release date: November 10. In a new pair of videos depicting the album’s recording process, the longtime collaborators appear to be locked into the studio, where they receive visits from DJ Khaled and Diddy, who hype up the release before title cards reveal the album’s release date.

Meek and Ross first promoted the project’s impending release with their single “Shaq & Kobe,” later announcing its title and tell Apple Music’s Ebro Darden about its creation.

The project will be released by Ross’ Maybach Music Group imprint in a new partnership with Gamma, a music startup founded by veteran music execs Larry Jackson and Ike Youssef with funding from Apple and A24. The album will see Meek and Ross join forces again for the first time since 2019’s Port Of Miami 2, where Meek appeared on “Bogus Charms.”

Since then, some fans thought that a rift had formed between the two rappers when rumors surfaced that Rick Ross had trouble getting into Meek Mill’s birthday party in 2021. Meek later expressed discontent with his record deal, but Ross downplayed his comments, saying he believed they were directed at Atlantic and not MMG.

However, those rumors appeared to be unfounded; late last year, Ross joined Meek onstage to help celebrate the 10th anniversary of his debut album Dreams & Nightmares.

Too Good To Be True is out 11/10 via Maybach Music Group / Gamma.

When Will ‘Killers Of The Flower Moon’ Be Streaming On Apple TV+?

Martin Scorsese’s latest flick Killers of the Flower Moon is heading to theaters this week, but for those of us who don’t want to train our bodies to sit through nearly four hours of movie theater soda, you might have to wait a little bit of time.

The film has had a pretty busy release history. After being shown at Cannes earlier this year, the film was on track for a limited release this fall, but thanks to the fact that movies are back and better than ever, the movie will get a wide release, including IMAX, before eventually streaming on Apple TV.

While we don’t have an exact date yet, here’s what we know. Previous Apple TV films like Jennifer Lawrence’s Causeway landed on the streamer just a week after release, while other Apple TV films have taken multiple weeks. Scorsese’s last film The Irishman landed on Netflix just three weeks after its initial theatrical run, though that was a limited release, and there was a whole lot of tension there.

Due to the buzz of the movie, there’s a good probability that Killers of the Flower Moon will be in theaters for some time, so it will be quite a while until we get to stream from home. If you really want to see it ASAP, you might have to run out to your local theater. Maybe they still have Eras Tour merch!

Bowen Yang Went On ‘The View’ And Spilled Behind-The-Scenes Details Of Taylor Swift’s (Very) Surprise ‘SNL’ Appearance

After Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce made a surprise appearance at last weekend’s Saturday Night Live premiere, speculation began running wild that the power couple really did just show up and the cast and crew scrambled to include them in the episode hosted by Pete Davidson. According to SNL star, Bowen Yang, the rumors are true.

While promoting Dicks: The Musical on Thursday’s episode of The View, Yang confirmed to co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin that Swift and Kelce magically emerged at the 30 Rock studio to the surprise of everyone.

“This did not come about in any way!” Yang said via Decider. “No one was told that they would be there.”

“I’m going to my makeup chair after dress rehearsal, I see a couple people talking to the two tallest people in the world, and then I realized it was them,” Yang recalled. “To see them individually as tall people I go, ‘Amazing,’ but when they’re next to each other, it’s a force multiplier. These two people, it’s The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. I’m in the Redwood Forest. It’s amazing.”

“But there they are. I mean yeah, they just showed up,” Yang said in conclusion. “It was incredible. It just reminds you that SNL and The View are the kinds of shows where live TV is beautiful, people drop by, things happen.”

Here Is The Official Runtime For The ‘Killers Of The Flower Moon’

Let’s cut right to the chase here: we know Killers of the Flower Moon is gonna be long. Not only is 2023 the year of long movies, but Killers is also a Martin Scorsese film, which already adds an extra 50 minutes of stoic stares. Then you tack on an extra 30 for some violent sequences and maybe 4 more minutes of Jesse Plemmons being weird, and a few extra hours of sitting at that same dang table, and that’s how long the movie is. It’s worth it!

Killers of the Flower Moon clocks in 196 minutes, which is the length of about 66 full-length TikToks. This is actually longer than Oppenheimer, but we don’t need to compare the two since that’s already being done enough.

The movie will star longtime muse Leonardo DiCaprio alongside Kiky Gladstone, Robert De Niro, Jesse Plemons, John Lithgow, Brendan Fraser, Tantoo Cardinal, Cara Jade Myers, JaNae Collins, and Jillian Dion.

While it’s a long one, there won’t be an intermission. In fact, Scorsese is pretty sure you can handle more than three hours in a seat. “People say it’s three hours, but come on, you can sit in front of the TV and watch something for five hours,” Scorsese said earlier this week. He’s right! Let’s sit him in the theater for Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour for 3 hours and see how he feels.

Killers of the Flower Moon is in theaters on October 20th.

The Detroit Pistons Biggest Question And X-Factor For The 2023-24 Season

The Detroit Pistons made the Eastern Conference Finals in 2008. It marked the sixth year in a row the team made it to that point, and over that stretch, they made the NBA Finals twice and won it once. Since then: 15 seasons, three playoff berths. The most recent one came in 2019 — with the Sacramento Kings making it last year, Detroit is currently tied for the second-longest postseason drought in the league.

The bad news for the Pistons is that the Eastern Conference is going to be brutal this year, and odds are, they’re not going to be able to break through to the Play-In Tournament. The good news, though, is that this has the potential to be a year where Detroit lays a really great foundation, one that lets them get back to being a perennial playoff contender.

Biggest Question: Can Cade Cunningham Be A Star?

Cade Cunningham’s sophomore campaign came to an end on Nov. 9, 2022. Cunningham, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, suffered a stress fracture in his shin that required surgery and limited him to only 12 games of action. It was a brutal twist of fate for Cunningham and the Pistons — he was supposed to use this year to build on his rookie campaign and build his chemistry with his potential backcourt mate for the next decade-plus, Jaden Ivey.

There was a silver lining to this cloud, as Ivey came into his own as the season went along and looks like the dynamic, explosive guard he was billed to be coming out of Purdue. But Cunningham is the potential face of the franchise, the sort of jumbo playmaker with scoring chops that every team covets right now. Losing out on a year of development — and, frankly, a year of watching him play basketball — really stinks, even if the Pistons weren’t viewed as a potential playoff team in the Eastern Conference.

The good news for Detroit is that Cunningham is back and healthy. By all accounts, Cunningham was magnificent while playing with the USA Basketball Select Team that helped prepare the senior side ahead of the FIBA Basketball World Cup — “He looked great,” Steve Kerr said, per The Athletic. “The injury is clearly behind him and it’s great to see him healthy. He’s a guy who can really control the game from the point guard spot with his size and physicality.”

There’s an opportunity for Cunningham to take a big step forward under new head coach Monty Williams — remember, Devin Booker made his first All-Star team after he took over in Phoenix. If he can, it’s going to make the Pistons’ rebuild look awfully promising, and turn them into an up-and-coming team to watch as we enter 2024-25.

X-Factor: Figuring Out Their Core

Detroit has … we’ll say a lot going on. Again, it’s not like this is a team that will be expected to compete for a title at some point in the next 20 months or anything like that, so this season is all about figuring out who is and is not at the center of Williams’ plans going forward. Cunningham seems to be a lock, as does Ivey. Jalen Duren, whose bright spots last year were incredibly bright, seems a safe bet. Ausar Thompson, who went fifth overall in the 2023 NBA Draft, has superstar potential.

But what about everyone else? Namely, what will they do with the younger players on their roster? James Wiseman, Killian Hayes, and Isaiah Livers are potential restricted free agents next offseason. (Not young guys, but Joe Harris, Alec Burks, and Monte Morris are all unrestricted free agents next summer, too.) Marvin Bagley will hit the unrestricted market in 2025. If you assume a Cunningham contract extension is coming and they don’t make any trades, the only players the team will have on the books in 2025-26 are Cunningham, Duren, Ivey, Thompson, Marcus Sasser, and Isaiah Stewart.

(Stewart, as an aside, is an interesting case here, as he’s only 22, has shown a willingness to shoot threes, and brings energy and toughness every night. He’s due $15 million a year, every year, through his team option 2028, which is not a ton of money considering where the salary cap is going. He’s either part of their core going forward or he’s a potentially fascinating trade chip.)

There are obvious questions about whether or not the team tries to turn any those aforementioned veterans — along with Bojan Bogdanovic — into more future-facing stuff over the course of this season. But above all else, Detroit is in the process of figuring things out with those youngsters, and having clarity about how they all fit together by the end of this season is crucial.

Husband asks the world for help after fallout from wife’s secret choice of ‘horrible’ baby name

There’s a fine line between a unique name and one that sets kids up for a lifetime of ridicule.

On the one hand, maybe it shouldn’t matter what other people think, and parents should pick a name that suits their preferences, consequences be damned. On the other hand, their kid might not appreciate that kind of bravery after enduring years of bullying during childhood, followed constant confusion at Starbucks and truly unenviable work emails once they’re adults.

And this chapter of parenting can be a little stressful—even more stressful if neither partner can agree on a name they both like.

This was the case for a husband who absolutely hated a name his wife so eagerly wished to give their unborn son. But rather than follow the popular “one no, two yeses” rule of baby-naming, where both parents must agree on the name chosen for a child, the wife instead went full steam ahead with her idea.

According to the husband’s account on Reddit, here’s what happened:

“Me (25m) and my wife (23f) are having our first child together. She is currently 9 months pregnant and could give birth anytime in the next couple of weeks. The only major fight we have had throughout her pregnancy happened a couple days ago, and it was about what we were going to name our kid.”

AITA for refusing to let my wife name our kid something stupid?
byu/Public-Praline-3691 inAmItheAsshole

“It all started when we found out the gender of the baby,” he continued. “After we found out we were having a boy we sat down together and made a list. Almost all of the names she suggested were normal, until the one that caused me to write this post. She suggested we name our son Mune.”

Mune. Like…dune an “m?” Or like “mun?” “Moon?” “Money?” “Mew-nay?” So many questions.

“She told me the name was from this movie she watched when she was younger and that it always stuck with her,” the husband explained, saying that when he told her it felt a “little out there” and was worried their son might get made fun of.

After a little back and forth, the couple agreed to take the name Mune off the list. Or so the dad-to-be thought.

“Later on in her pregnancy her mom decided to throw a baby shower as it was her first grandchild. It was fine for the most part until we started to open the gifts. Most of them were normal baby things like diapers and bottles, until we got to her mom’s gift. My wife opened the gift bag and pulled out a blue handmade blanket. It seemed normal enough at first until my wife unfolded it and low and behold there was the name Mune written on the blanket,” he wrote.

The man had tried to keep cool until after the party was over. However, when he confronted his wife about it, all hell seemed to break loose.

“She got defensive and told me that it was a good name and that I was overreacting about it,” he concluded. “I brought up the earlier points and told her it was a stupid name for a kid and if she wanted to name something Mune so bad she could use the name for a dog. She got upset and called her mom to come get her. After she left she called me and told me she wouldn’t be coming back for a while. Everyone I’ve talked to about this has said I’m not the asshole, but now that my wife has been gone and I’ve been thinking about it I feel like I could have handled the situation better.”

Yikes.

parenting, baby names, unique baby names

While the husband might have regretted his actions, public opinion overwhelmingly sided with him.

One mom wrote, “Naming a baby is a 2 yes or 1 no situation. You do not name a child something your partner does not agree with. You find a compromise. This is the start of many necessary compromises in life and it is a total AH move to unilaterally decide on a child’s name despite your partner’s misgivings…She is absolutely not mature enough for motherhood if she can not find a reasonable compromise on this.”

Another added “this is a child, not a goldfish. There are consequences and repercussions to choosing a name that is very unusual to begin with…. To go behind the other parent’s back and tell a grandparent what the name is going to be, that is unacceptable.”

Others noted how the wife and her mom “pulled a power play,” which “in itself is an a**hole move.” In addition, many pointed out that running away from the conflict (leaving to go to mom’s house) might have not been the best way to handle the situation.

“Leaving so she doesn’t have to face the argument is actually a form of abuse if it happens a lot,” one person commented. “She may just have baby brain and be overreacting due to hormones, but that is red flag behavior of it can’t be dismissed for reasons beyond her control.

baby names, parenting

And if there’s any doubt as to just how damaging weird name can be, take it from this person:

“My name has prevented me from doing anything that would have my name called out in a crowd of people. Never tried sports. Military was a no go. I don’t even want to apply for higher positions at work because I don’t want to have meetings in closed rooms where people might call my name.

“…Being forced to grow up with a weird name discouraged me from a lot of things and I began resenting my parents for thinking they were being creative. I had to live with it through grade school and high school. The ridicule didn’t end until the damage was already done.”

Raising a kid together is full of making compromises, prioritizing healthy communication, and honoring commitments, none of which are easy 100 percent of the time. But if couples can’t learn how to navigate these issues, then disagreeing on names is the least of their problems. We can all agree that parenting as true partners means men often need to step up their games. But it takes two for parenting to truly flourish and that includes respect your partner and making choices that are good for the entire family. Together.

Dad writes heartbreaking message after the death of his son

A dad from Portland, Oregon, has taken to LinkedIn to write an emotional plea to parents after he learned that his son had died during a conference call at work. J.R. Storment, of Portland, Oregon, encouraged parents to spend less time at work and more time with their kids after his son’s death.

In an open letter on LinkedIn, which has so far garnered over 26,000 likes and 2,700 comments, Storment explains that his son, Wiley, passed away during his sleep as a result of complications from his mild epilepsy. He then goes on to blast himself for not spending enough time with his son, and encourages other parents to take more time off work.

Widowed father with his family

Storment starts by explaining that the day his son passed away started like any other:

“Eight years ago, during the same month, I had twin boys and co-founded Cloudability. About three months ago Cloudability was acquired. About three weeks ago we lost one of our boys.”

“When I got the call I was sitting in a conference room with 12 people at our Portland office talking about PTO policies. Minutes earlier, I had admitted to the group that in the last 8 years I’d not taken more than a contiguous week off.”

That’s when Storment received a call from his distraught wife.

“My wife and I have an agreement that when one of us calls, the other answers. So when the phone rang I stood up and walked to the conference room door immediately.”

“I was still walking through the door when I answered with ‘Hey, what’s up?'”

“Her reply was icy and immediate: ‘J.R., Wiley is dead.'”

“‘What?’ I responded incredulously.”

“‘Wiley has died.’ she reiterated.”

“‘What?! No.’ I yelled out, ‘No!'”

“‘I’m so sorry, I have to call 911.'”

Storment goes on to explain the chaos that happened next.

“That was the entire conversation. The next thing I know I’m sprinting out the front door of the office with my car keys in hand, running ferociously across the street and muttering ‘oh F**k. oh F**k. oh F**k.’ Half way down the block I realize I don’t have the opener to my parking garage. Running back into the lobby, I all but shout “Someone drive me! Somebody drive me!” Thankfully, a helpful colleague did.”

Storment made it home, but not yet knowing the cause of death, police were treating the house as a possible crime scene. The heartbroken father was unable to see his son for two and a half hours.

“When the medical examiner finally finished his work, we were allowed in the room. An eerie calm came over me. I laid down next to him in the bed that he loved, held his hand and kept repeating, ‘What happened, buddy? What happened?'”

“We stayed next to him for maybe 30 minutes and stroked his hair before they returned with a gurney to take him away. I walked him out, holding his hand and his forehead through the body bag as he was wheeled down our driveway. Then all the cars drove away. The last one to leave was the black minivan with Wiley in it.”

Storment goes on to explain his son’s dreams and aspirations, and the difficulty he had signing his son’s death certificate.

“Wiley was obsessed with starting a business. One day it was a smoothie stand, the next it would be a gallery, then a VR headset company, then a ‘coder’, then a spaceship building company. In each of these scenarios he was the boss. His brother (and sometimes us) were invited to work for—not with— him and were each assigned jobs. In the gallery scenario, Wiley informed Oliver that he would be manning the cash register.”

“Around 5 years old, Wiley decided he was going to get married as an adult. By 6 he had identified the girl, holding her hand at recess on the first day of kindergarten. Over the next two years as we moved from Portland to London to Hawaii, he kept in touch with her by handwritten letter. Not long before we moved back to Portland, the two agreed (by letter) to marry. She beat him to the punch and asked him. He accepted. Happily, he got to see her twice after we moved back to Portland in June.”

“One of the countless difficult moments of this month was signing his death certificate. Seeing his name written on the top of it was hard. However, two fields further down the form crushed me. The first said: ‘Occupation: Never worked’ and the next: ‘Marital Status: Never married.’ He wanted so badly to do both of those things. I feel both fortunate and guilty to have had success in each.”

Storment then criticises himself for spending too much time at work. And while it sounds that Wiley got to live an amazing life, Storment only wishes he could have done more with him.

“Over the last three weeks I have come up with an endless stream of things I regret. They tend to fall into two categories: things I wish I had done differently and things I’m sad not to see him do. My wife is constantly reminding me of all the things he did do: Wiley went to 10 countries, drove a car on a farm road in Hawaii, hiked in Greece, snorkeled in Fiji, wore a suit to a fantastic British prep school every day for two years, got rescued from a shark on a jet ski, kissed multiple girls, got good enough at chess to beat me twice in a row, wrote short stories and drew comics obsessively.”

Storment hadn’t checked on the boys the morning of the tragedy because he had to get up early for meetings, a decision he seems to regret.

“Around 5:40am, the next morning I woke up for a series of back to back meetings. I did a Peloton ride, took an analyst call from my home office, one with a colleague on the drive to work, then the rest at the office. None seem that important now. I left that morning without saying goodbye or checking on the boys.”

Storment has a simple message for parents:

“Many have asked what they can do to help. Hug your kids. Don’t work too late. A lot of the things you are likely spending your time on you’ll regret once you no longer have the time. I’m guessing you have 1:1 meetings on the books with a lot of people you work with. Do you have them regularly scheduled with your kids? If there’s any lesson to take away from this, it’s to remind others (and myself) not to miss out on the things that matter.”

“The big question is how to return to work in a way that won’t leave me again with the regrets I have now. To be honest, I’ve considered not going back. But I believe in the words of Kahlil Gibran who said, ‘Work is love made visible.’ To me, that line is a testament to how much we gain, grow and offer through the work we do. But that work needs to have a balance that I have rarely lived. It’s a balance that lets us offer our gifts to the world but not at the cost of self and family.”

“While I sat writing this post, my living son, Oliver, came in to ask for screen time. Instead of saying the usual ‘no’, I stopped writing and asked if I could play with him. He was happily surprised by my answer and we connected in a way I would have formerly missed out on. Small things matter. One silver lining from this tragedy is the improving relationship I have with him.”

“Our family has gone from having two units of two (the parents and the twins) to now being a triangle of three. That’s a big adjustment for a family that has always been four. Oliver’s brilliant reply when we discussed the shape of our new family: ‘But Papa, the triangle is the strongest shape.’ By some sad and beautiful irony, Oliver has met three sets of 8-year-old twins in our new neighborhood since Wiley passed.”

“I’ve learned to stop waiting to do the things the kids ask for. When we sold the business I gave each of the boys a $100 dollar bill. They decided to pool their money to buy a tent for camping. But we didn’t make it happen before Wiley died. Another regret. So, after the first round of family visits after his death, I took Jessica and Oliver to REI to get gear and we left town quickly to camp near Mt. St. Helens.”

“Somehow, we got to the wilderness without enough cash to cover the campground fee and had a slight panic. Jessica then realized that Wiley’s $100 bill was still in his seat pocket. He got to spend his money on camping after all. Collectively, the family said a big, ‘Thanks, buddy’ out-loud to him. It was one of many bittersweet moments we will experience for the rest of our lives. Each happy time brings with it the sadness that he doesn’t get to experience it.”

“One of Wiley’s happy times was listening to music and dancing. Damn, could that kid dance. He loved the Oregon Country Fair and the year before we left for London, we listened to a band there play a version of ‘Enjoy yourself (It’s later than you think)‘. The words stuck with me that day three years ago and painfully so now:”

“You work and work for years and years, you’re always on the go

You never take a minute off, too busy makin’ dough

Someday, you say, you’ll have your fun, when you’re a millionaire

Imagine all the fun you’ll have in your old rockin’ chair

Enjoy yourself, it’s later than you think

Enjoy yourself, while you’re still in the pink

The years go by, as quickly as a wink

Enjoy yourself, enjoy yourself, it’s later than you think”

Trey Songz Was Sued By Two Women For Sexual Assault At A House Party

R&B star Trey Songz is again being accused of sexual assault. According to TMZ, the singer is the subject of a lawsuit filed by two women for an alleged incident in 2015 in which they say he forced himself on them without consent after they passed out during a house party at his LA-area estate.

The women say they met the singer at one of his concerts and were invited to an afterparty, then maintained contact with him, leading to an invite to his home for his birthday party in August 2015. They say they fear they were drugged after being pressured to drink alcohol and feeling immediately intoxicated despite only consuming a “moderate” amount.

Songz allegedly led them to an upstairs bedroom where they passed out with their clothes on. However, according to their lawsuit, they woke up naked, with a naked Trey Songz, who demanded they take a shower with him and tried to initiate sex with them, performing oral on one and forcing his fingers into the other’s vagina.

The women are suing for damages, saying they’ve suffered lasting injuries, while Trey Songz’s attorney issued the following statement to TMZ:

“This is yet another example of nearly decade-old allegations being repurposed to take advantage of California’s constitutionally questionable new look back window. We look forward to vindicating Trey on the merits in court.”

Of course, this is not the first time Songz has been accused of similar behavior. In January 2022, former collegiate basketball player and social media influencer Dylan Gonzalez accused Trey of raping her, although a lack of evidence led Las Vegas Police to dismiss any criminal charges, while another woman sued the singer for an alleged 2016 incident, but the case was dismissed when a legal representative failed to issue a timely response to Trey’s defense.
